Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! Caitlyn, KJ, and their pup Sully were excellent house guests and pet sitters, and we would highly recommend them! I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.

They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.

Ramona and Brandon were the perfect sitters! They rescued me and were very accommodating with my needs. Ramona's communication with me was A1. We spoke multiple times before she arrived and throughout the sit. She was good at keeping me updated and I was very grateful for that, being so far away. The pets gravitated toward them from the moment they arrived and you could see that all she and Brandon wanted to do was spoil the pets with lots of cuddles. My female pup was in heat and they handled that very well and were able to keep her and my male dog separated. I could only imagine how exhausting that may have been but they didn't complain one bit. Ramona and Brandon had to hand over the sit to another sitter and were kind enough to write out the details and everything they observed to make the transition a seamless one. I must say, it helped tremendously. I'd have them back in a heartbeat to sit for me as they showed that I could trust them, not only to take care of my pets but to respect my home they way they would their own. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. I cannot rate highly enough the service, amazing care, wonderful love and attention given to Milo our very stubborn and nervous beagle. Milo had such an amazing stay the very first time he has been happy to stay away from home all previous visits he has been very upset but he just loved his time I actually think he qas better looked after and happier than he is at home 🙈 I am so relieved I can book him in for all our 2024 trips as he has found someone who he loves being around.
Can’t recommend Ilona enough. Our Beagle spent 12 days with Ilona, she had the best time. This was our first time leaving her since taking her home. Ilona’s obvious passion and understanding of dogs made our decision easier. We were at full ease during Brandi’s full stay, we were provided with daily updates and there was no hesitation to message Ilona about anything throughout. Brandi misses all of her new friends, and is excited for her next visit.
Ilona is amazing. Loki is a bit of an anxious dog and I am so glad that he is more than happy to be left at Ilona's care. Her lovely dog, Choco, is also an amazing as he gets along with Loki just fine. I am always confident that my dog will be always be looked after. He gets lots of plays and cuddles too so I have no issues leaving him under Ilona's care whenever we go for long holidays. Highly recommend Woof woof Wonderland!
I am the owner of a reactive miniature schnauzer Dexter. At our first “meet and greet” at Ilona’s house our dog liked her straight away and I felt confident that we could leave him with her. He stayed for a week later that month and Ilona was great. She kept in touch with photos and messages and I could see he was having a good time and was quite settled. She is very kind and caring and quite clearly loves having dogs to stay. I will definitely contact Ilona again and highly recommend her xx

Shona...how can we thank you! We couldn't have picked a better person to drive our two beloved Pugs from Aberden to London Heathrow for their big journey back to our home in Doha, Qatar. Shona was very organised, timely, personable and kept me updated and at ease during their entire journey. She sent me lovely vidoes and photos. I never worried when they were in her care as I knew at heart she is a true animal lover and could tell she genuinely cared for our dogs. She liased well with our export company at LHR which took pressure and stress away from me. It has meant alot to us to have our dogs (one elderly) treated so well on such an arduous journey. Our dog stayed with Shona for 18 days this summer and it was nice to see her looking healthy and calm on collection. We left our dog with Shona before for various periods of time. The drop off and pick up times are always suitable for us and our travel plans, which is very helpful. Thank you very much for taking a good care of Lola!
I have used kennel in the past and my dog never came out of it looking happy. This has definitely changed since I found Shona - he is happy to leave me and always comes back home cheerful and in a great shape. Shona is great with dogs, she takes them for a long river/forest walks and let them play in her garden once they are home. I recommend this service from the bottom of my hearth to all dog owners

I am so happy that we found Shona to take care of our 11years dog Toto during vacation time. Genuinely a five star service: We are absolutely thrilled with the service we receive from Shona at Aberdeen Pet Services, from the very first visit, I had a really good sense of how calming she would be for our highly strung but loving cavapoo. Before we met Shona I was extremely concerned about leaving Hamish with anyone, he is a nervous dog and enjoys being part of a family and being cuddled, we couldn’t even consider kennels for him and by luck we found the perfect solution. Alan had our two dogs Lucas and Toffee for 10 day. Was like a little holiday for them, a home away from home. I would totally recommend for your furbabies.
I phoned at ladt minute to take my dog as I had to attend a meeting next day in Livingston at short notice. He luckily had a space as he is restricted to the amount of dogs he can have. I dropped Minnie our 12year old Yorkshire Terrier off with him at 7am. Picked her up at 6.30pm same day she was happy obviously did not miss me one bit I was very happy with Alan's srrvice and would not hesitate to use him again. His fees are more than reasonable.
This is definitely the best dog boarder/ day carer in Aberdeen. Great service, dogs come home looking happy and healthy.
Alan was unfortunately too full but he sent me a list of other licensed places to try. Top man.

Rosie and Ben run a fantastic dog walking service in the Aberdeen area. After approaching them, Rosie and Ben arrange a meet with our dog to understand her nature and ensure she was placed with a group that complimented her behaviour. Collection and drop off was seamless and professional. Our dog always came back happy and looking like she had a great time. Our dog Toby has been going regularly for around 2 years now and we wouldn’t put him anywhere else, he loves it and always comes home super happy (and tired), Mark and the team are always so friendly and nice and you are always greeted with a smile.
Left our two dogs here, one of which is ageing multiple times now. Great staff
I didn’t exactly want to write this review considering that it’s negative but I have tried contacting K9 Care on multiple occasions by calling the phone number provided on the website, I have tried on multiple days and different times which they are open and not a single time did anyone pick up or call me back. Quite disappointed as I was looking forward to leaving my dog with them. On the services that they provide I can’t make a comment as I never had a chance to use it due to never having my phone calls answered.
Mark, the owner, has extensive experience with dogs and operating kennels/day boarding facilities. He takes the time to learn the personalities of all his charges and matches them in small playgroups accordingly. It's nice knowing my pup is in a small group and not a giant pack of 20-30 dogs. Since starting my pup at daycare, I've seen a huge boost in his confidence and he's learned how to play nicely and respect other dogs. Highly recommend!

Taimi from Archie Cat Care Ltd has looked after our cat, Miso, for the past few months and has been the perfect companion for him while my partner and I are away. Highly recommend Taimi for giving excellent cat care to my old boys while I was away. They hadn’t been left for a couple of years and I was concerned they would fret. However Taimi spent time playing and fussing them as well as performing all the usual cat care duties. Taimi has now looked after our cat Hestia several times and has been nothing short of exceptional. She spends lots of quality time with her, and sends us plenty updates so we don't worry. Whenever we come back Hestia is a happy and well loved kitty. Taimi is also easily contactable and responsive, she has helped us out in a few tight corners when cat care had fallen through at the last minute. She is now our go-to for short breaks. Hestia loves her!
