I hired Rachel to care for one cat, several tanks of fish, and my houseplants while I was away for several weeks. She visited prior to meet my cat and to see how to care for the fish and plants. My cat doesn’t warm up to strangers very quickly but she was all over Rachel almost immediately. Rachel did an excellent job. She sent multiple beautiful photos of my cat, Marie, playing happily every day, sent a photo when a sensor I had on one of the tanks was indicating a warning so that I could tell her how to fix it, and, though she said she isn’t a pro at caring for plants, even all of the plants looked great when I got back. I’m very happy to have Rachel to care for my pets when needed and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets.

Rachel has been so amazing with walking my dog Betty! She always shows up in the promised/scheduled time frame and the fact that I get pictures while they are out on their walk is the best added touch! Will definitely be recommending her to anyone looking for a dog walker/pet sitter!!

We recently had the pleasure of Animlz providing both check-in & overnight services for our one fat cat & we (and the cat) were so pleased! Both Rachel & Luke first offered their time for a fun meet & greet to get to know our furry fella & to learn all the specific ins & outs of his routine. Being out of state twice, once for a weekend & then for a full week, & having them take care of our little friend was so reassuring with their regular updates & such great pictures! Our little guy seemed to especially be enjoying all the physical playtime activity that Rachel & Luke initiated with his favorite toys. We will definitely be using them for all of our petsitting needs in the future. Thank you again Rachel & Luke, we are so appreciative of all you do!

As a retired pet sitter , I knew exactly who I was looking for. Rachel and Luke fit right in with our demanding dogs and birds. My pets were happy and relaxed when we returned home. We will definitely use her service again.

Rachel is the best. My anxious dogs loved her the first time they met her and she has been so wonderful. She’s reliable, communicative, fairly priced and is there when we need her. Having her watch our dogs has been a Godsend for us and I feel really good knowing my dogs love playing with her. I can’t say enough good things. She and her company are 5-star amazing and we are so happy to have found her. 10/10 recommend with no reservations.

What a fantastic friend for our pooch (and on occasion our cats)! Rachel is one of those folks that is able to immediately establish a rapport with our furry family members. Our Pit Bull adores her and treats her like a family member whenever she comes by. We are so glad to have found Animlz! We had an awesome pet sitter at our old house, so when we moved to the country from Maryland, I was a little anxious that we would be able to find someone who would take as good of care of our cats and chickens. Then I met Rachel and within just a few minutes, I knew our pets would be in the best hands possible while we travel. She asked all of the right questions about their care and feeding, I felt very confident she would take good care of them in our absence. We just got back from a two week trip to hike the Alps- the longest we have ever been away from our pets- but I knew all would be well when we returned, and it was. Rachel is fantastic and I highly recommend her for her dedication, concern, and attention to detail. Even better? She sends the best animal portraits and videos every time she visits! I feel so connected to our pets while we travel because of her regular communication and I know when we return, the house and coop will be spotless and the cats and chickens will almost be sorry we are home. :) If you love your pets like we do and want them to receive the best care while you travel, reach out to Rachel. At our first introductory meeting with Rachel, my dogs were so excited to meet her and loved her right away. In the time since, we use Animlz every week, whether it’s a midday dog walk or up to four times a day when we’re on travel. We trust Animlz to take care of our dogs and our home and the pooches are always happy to see her!

They did a great job caring for my 9 cats and kittens while I was away. They kept me updated on the little ones and even got some of the cutest pictures and videos. I would highly recommend them.

Della and Applewood are the best! Today I picked up my dog, he has stayed there four times in the last few months. I've taken advantage of their excellent grooming services and had to request a picture or two when we were away multiple days and missed him. Everything is reasonably priced and well organized (the check in and out process takes seconds, you'll see). Lastly, the best compliment that can be made is--my dog hops out of the car when I drop him off and energetically pulls me into the building (enough said).

We had a great experience with boarding our German Shepherd at Applewood Kennels. They took great care of him and went the extra mile to give him some chew treats to help with his anxiety (he was there for an extended stay). We got text updates and pictures from them while we were gone. They were kind, patient and understanding to his care and needs. We will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!!! We recently boarded our dog, Tank, at Applewood Farms & Kennels, for several days, and are extremely happy with our experience! We found the kennels to be very clean and loved that Tank had space connected to an outside run. Della was great to work with and answered all of our questions along the way. Tank even got extra love from her family during his time there which means a lot to our family (since he’s used to kids loving on him). We will definitely be taking him back to board there in the future. Thank you!!

Applewood is a fantastic kennel. The facility is clean and spacious. Della is very friendly and exceptionally kind to our dog. We're very happy to have found such a great kennel for when we need to board our pet. Highly recommended.

I heartily recommend Applewood! Clean, well maintained, attentive to our dog's needs. Della kept us updated with texts and photos of our Labrador "Gus" who had a blast during his stay. We will definitely leave Gus in their capable hands whenever the need arises.

We have used Applewood twice now. The facility is extremely clean. The staff is fantastic and friendly. Della went out of her way to us during a “Moving of homes” during Christmas week by keeping our babies. I would highly recommend to everyone.

Applewood Farm is now my pups favorite place to go while I am away!! Della is always extremely accommodating and goes above and beyond with the care of my fur babies to make sure they are comfortable. One of my dogs tends to be anxious in new places, but almost immediately warmed up to Della which solidified my love for her business. I can’t put into words how much I appreciate her taking great care of my pups.

I can’t recommend Applewood enough!! We have been taking our pugs there for a few months and we absolutely love it! Della and her entire family have been so welcoming to us and our pugs. It has been such a blessing to be able to drop them off while we are at work and know they are safe and happy.

Toured the kennel. It was spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors. The staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. The animals seemed happy and well cared for. We will definitely be using this facility for our dogs in the New Year!

I hate to only give them four stars but we haven't yet used their boarding services, just had a partial grooming for our dog and he didn't cooperate. But it's a home based business and they're very friendly and very affordable. : )
