Marley's Angels was an incredible experience for our family. Kyle treated our dog with such kindness. She went above and beyond with her care. We got regular photos and constant communication. We really appreciate what Kyle did, for not only our pup but, the peace of mind for us to enjoy the time away. This was arguably the best money we spent on our time away. We will absolutely be working with Marley's Angels again.

We have two outdoor spayed feral cats and one house cat that were taken care of by Marleys Angels for the first time recently. Kyle did a great job and kept me informed via text message each evening. Knowing the cats were fed & cared for allowed me to enjoy my vacation time with family! Thank you!

Kyle is an amazing pet sitter for our four cats, one of which requires insulin twice a day. She has dealt with difficult situations (ie - cats hiding) with grace. She takes the time to not only administer medication, but to play with our cats and send photos. I'm ao grateful for her and consider myself lucky to have found her! :)

Kyle was such a loving caregiver for our sweet dog, Maddie. She went above and beyond just walking and feeding Maddie. Kyle even texted us daily photos of her, and clearly Maddie was content and happy! We are truly grateful to have found such a caring dog lover if we have to go out of town. We would certainly use her again and recommend her highly! 🐶🙏💖

Kyle was amazing in looking after my cats. One of them was an EXTREMELY poor pill taker. Kyle wouldn't give up. She did everything possible to give my cat her pills. I appreciate her trying so much. I will need to board the cat at the vet next time, but Kyle will be the one I call to take care of the other two. She is professional, responsible and responsive.

Absolutely awesome pet-sitter and walker! She was able to accommodate us after a last minute change of plans. When she came to meet with us, our dog was absolutely in love with her : ) For the 3 days we were out of town she kept excellent communication, and sent daily updates along with pictures of our dog. Wow, where to start and what to say about our incredible experience with Kate's for our kitty-care... Let's start with our two spoiled princesses, Mimi and Dora, one inside and one outside that we dote-on daily. As we had planned to fly out of town, their care was a huge stress-point for us, and we researched a service for weeks. Add to that is the home-security factor as well. Having Kate's team being so experienced, and secured, we've found that not only peace-of-mind, but an invaluable part of our support system for our kitty-girls. However, even more than that, is the incredible and amazing care and attention to detail they brought to the service, and... AND... connected us with Michelle who unbelieveably bonded instantly with our ultra spoiled indoor kitty Mimi (who warms up to noone). Not only did Mimi bond with her, she loved Michelle's coming over! We have the camera footage, plus Michelle's awesome daily photo's and video's too! It's almost impossible to convey our appreciation and happy stun-factor, but EPIC is probably the best word! 5 Platinum Stars Incredible!!!!!

We've been using Kate's Critter Care for a couple years now, and it gives us so much peace of mind. Mariana is a magical human that has completely won over our kitties. She is the only other person besides us that one of our cats will come out of hiding to spend time with. The sliding scale has also been helpful so we can adjust our rate a bit based on where we're at in life while still receiving such great care for our boys. While Mariana is our regular sitter and pretty much another family member to us at this point, we have also always received great care from the other folks with Kate's Critter Care (including some special on-call cat sitting when I went into labor!).

We absolutely love Kate’s Critter Care. We’ve used them a few times now and they really give us peace of mind when leaving our 3 cats alone at home. We would like to give a shoutout to our most recent caregiver Jane, who responded extremely quickly for an emergency visit after we realized one of our cats was stuck behind our refrigerator (seriously, cats are troublesome as they are cute). It was after 8pm, but Jane was at our house in 10 minutes and with the help of some neighbors, our kitty was freed. Honestly, don’t know what we would have done without her!!

I hate leaving my dog, but Kate's Critter Care made it so much easier! Beth was amazing! She provided updates throughout the visit and so many adorable pictures of my dog. My dog is high anxiety, and Beth really took the time to work with her and get her trust. Our flight got delayed, and I texted Beth and she was able to add another visit on super short notice to check on my dog. Highly recommend!

Kate's Critter Care is incredible. We have been using them for about five years to come to our house and watch our cats when we go out of town. Special shoutout to Rosemary who is absolutely wonderful and takes care of our cats as if they were her own! I never write reviews but I have to express my infinite gratitude and appreciation for Kate’s Critter Care. I had a business trip scheduled, and then plans suddenly changed when a death occurred in the family unexpectedly. I was able to add and change services almost overnight, and my petsitter, Mariana, has been so excellent with my girls (they might like her more than me by the time I come back!). I feel so much more at ease knowing someone can look after my cats in another state while I try to figure things out. Thank you to everyone at Kate’s!! We had recently moved to Durham when we needed a weekend pet sitter. Setting up the pet services with Kate's Critter Care was very easy and meeting with Rachel was great as she was very warm and caring. She stayed with our dog for the weekend and helped relieve both our anxiety and his when we had to leave him behind to go on vacation. Rachel did a great job caring for our dog and our house while we were away. I would definitely recommend Kate's Critter Care to anyone with pet needs!

Kate's Critter Care offers great service and has taken great care of our 2 cats while we are away! Whether it is a long weekend away, or a two week vacation we can always rely on receiving a daily update. We are always able to book a sitter, even when we wait until the last minute. Although I recommend booking in advance, especially around the holidays to get the sitter of your choice. We have 3 sitters in rotation now and all of them have been wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Kate's Critter Care.

I was a client of Kate's for 1.5 years, until we moved to a neighborhood outside the service area. We have a menagerie of animals, but the primary client was our aging dog, who received exceptional care through Kate's Critter Care. Kate is very responsive, responsible, attentive to detail, and trustworthy. She is also very reasonable and flexible. All of our sitters were wonderful and went the extra step as they provided care and medications to our dog, who a was always eager to see his sitters. Overall, we felt that our pets were in caring and capable hands. We were very happy with the services received and would recommend Kate's Critter Care without reservations.

Francis, our almost 12 year old beagle, has been going to Sunny Acres for more than 10 years (!) and three years ago her sister, Abby, almost 4, joined her. Until I retired 4 years ago, Francis was a Sunny Acres camper every day during the week and LOVED it and she continues to be happy as she ages. Abby howls as we turn into the driveway and both girls pace inside the car until we go to the holding area. This is Donna’s family owned business with her children joining her along with an amazingly caring, loving, efficient and exceptional staff. The staff love animals which is obvious as you see the campers interact with their caretakers. Francis and Abby rarely look back at me as they prance off to play the day away. You will appreciate how caring the Sunny Acres staff is! You will love how the staff get to know your furbabies’ names and how well cared for they are. Sunny Acres Pet Resort is THE place where you want your pet to play either during the day or as they board for a weekend or a week or longer!

Can't say enough good things about Sunny Acres. We board our Bernese Mountain Dog here at least a couple of times a year and they take excellent care of her. We usually add on a bath and nail trim on her pick-up day and she comes home happy, healthy, and clean. She's always excited when we drop her off!

They really know how to groom Goldens! So trustworthy & truly love all dogs!! I love this place and the people that run it are so professional! They even offer taxi service for a very small extra fee. We are picky where we send our fur babies’ No hesitation sending them here to board or get groomed or for play day! They are clean and truly love all dogs! The grooming was the BEST our dogs ever had! Their toanails for the first time ever were actually cut shorter and all fur was cut out of paws You can tell they take the extra time with your pet to make sure they are properly groomed! Would give 10 stars if an option! Kyle is the best and only hires the best staff! Thank you Sunny Acres, we trust you 100% with our “babies”!!

The facility was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The dogs were cheerful and happy upon pickup. Not a complaint, just a possible suggestion... would be nice to have a once daily text/email with an update on care/activities and a quick picture to assist with the heartfelt absence of our k-9 companions. 🐾🐕‍🦺🦴

The entire staff at Sunny Acres is the absolute BEST! For the past 11 years, they all have given my dog so much love and attention. She doesn’t like going places anymore, but as soon as she sees the flags at the entrance she gets so happy and excited. I will not board or have my dog groomed anywhere else. We love Sunny Acres!!

We’ve only used their grooming services but their work is excellent. They make drop offs and pickups as easy, friendly and seamless as possible. And most important, our groomer does an amazing job on our golden doodle! Highly recommended.

I am sooo very thankful for the grooming services at SA! My very nervous 55-lb dog has been going there for about 1.5 yrs to have her nails trimmed (dremel). Kyle is experienced and thorough. My dog is in, done, and out within a few minutes, and the results are great. We've been very pleased with their services.

We are so happy to have Sunny Acres close to our home for our dog. We have taken advantage of the daycare numerous times and overnight boarding twice now. He gets so excited before we even get close to the entrance! He seems to be well cared for and comes home happy and tired. We highly recommend Sunny Acres!

A few weeks ago I took my dogs to Sunny Acres because I had heard great things and I needed a place to take the dogs to have their teeth brushed, nails clipped, ears cleaned, and one of the dogs needed her anal glands expressed. When I arrived and met the man (I cannot remember his name) who was going to be doing all of that for my dogs, he wasn’t friendly or welcoming which I was going to initially brush off but I am bringing it up here just because it did still rub me the wrong way. He was also on phone calls/on his phone the ENTIRE time he was talking to me while I was there which I found unprofessional, I can completely understand an emergency or a special circumstance but the entire appointment time is unacceptable service. When my dogs went back individually with him to have what they needed to have done done, they each came back to me looking frightened and 2/3 of my dogs yelped very loudly while they were back with him and he didn’t stop the treatment to consult with me first. My dogs have had those exact treatments done before at other places and have NEVER had that sort of reaction. I forgot to mention but the man wasn’t just unfriendly to me, but to my dogs too which I guess is what I’m more upset about. The dogs were new there and he hardly took a second to greet them or recognize their existence. While the dogs were back with him for their treatment, each dog was not back there for long at all and it makes me wonder the quality of the work that was done because each dog could not have been back there for longer than 5-7 minutes. A few days after this appointment, we left a voicemail saying that we would like to speak to someone about the poor experience and the next day or so I was called but could not answer as it was a busy week for me so I called back within the next couple of days. When I called back, I was told that the manager wasn’t in and there wasn’t another one to talk to so the receptionist would ask him to call me the next day. I agreed to this, but the next day I waited by the phone, both my cell phone and home phone, and never received a call so this is why I am leaving this review because I received poor service and wasn’t able to talk to a manager. I have had my dogs for years now and I know them very well and for all of them to seem scared after a basic appointment when they never have before tells me that something is wrong. I don’t know about the daycare service, but for the grooming service I would recommend that nobody take their dogs here based on my experience.

We have 2 cats and a dog that needed a sitter while we were out of town. We have only been in the area a short while so we hadn't been able to establish a pet sitter previously and our dog takes a while to warm up to new people. Edward from Lucy's Pet Care was a godsend. He was so patient with our dog while she warmed up to him and because of his patience she was so excited to see him and play with her new friend when he came to see her every day. We got daily updates and photos and you could tell our animals were very happy and well taken care of while we were away. We will definitely be using Lucy's again. On top of the great staff, booking is easy once your account is set up, and the company really works to find the perfect staff person to meet your needs. Communication was great as well from everyone. So thankful we found Lucy's.

Lucy's Pet Care provides the BEST service and care for your pets while you are away! After knowing exactly who was coming to my home, I knew that my pets were in good hands. I was very impressed with Callie, who took care of my three dogs while I was away. She gave any medication that was needed and sent me an email update along with photos of the furry ones at the end of each day. It gave me much relief knowing that my dogs were well taken care of. When I needed additional pet sitting, it was easy to get in touch with Lucy and Callie. I came home to an incredibly clean house with very happy pups there to greet me. I will definitely be recommending this service to anyone who needs a good pet sitter for either a relief walk during the day or a pet sitter while away for an extended period of time.

We had a wonderful experience with Lucy's Pet Care. The pet sitter who came to our house was very nice and extremely reliable. He came once before we left for vacation to meet our cats and get all the information about their usual routine. We had him scheduled for twice daily visits and he was here like clockwork! He also texted daily updates and photos of our boys, which we really looked forward to everyday. I highly recommend Lucy's for your pet sitting needs!

We recently moved to the area and had to take a short trip away. We were nervous about leaving our 3 little cats in the hands of strangers, but had to do it. When I first contacted Lucy, I left a message late in the evening, thinking that she would return the call the next day. I was so wrong - she returned it within 5 minutes! :) Needless to say, this was indicative of our entire experience was with Lucy's Pet Care service. Everyone is very friendly and very efficient AND, most importantly, very caring of our pets. Our cats were well cared for, had clearly been playing and enjoying the company of Daiane, who stayed overnight. What a wonderful gift to know that your pets are loved and receiving not only the food, water and litter changes, but also the attention, fun and love they all need. We continue to use them and will likely do so in the future, because we have always received the best care from Lucy and her staff. They are simply wonderful! :)

Lucy Moore has done two overnight stays (Dinner 'til Dawn package) with our two dogs and cat at our home in recent weeks. We have been very pleased and don't have a single complaint. Before the overnight visits, Lucy came to our home, spent some time with our animals, and talked through their whole routine with us to make sure she understood their needs. She also uses a full online profile to keep detailed records on the animals and their routines and requirements. Lucy was very prompt in all communications with us. She even arrived a bit early the first night she stayed at our home. She was great about keeping us up to date on how all three of our animals were doing, sending us pictures and text messages throughout her stay. She left our home in perfect condition, brought our mail in, and left us a detailed note about her visit. Most importantly, she took loving and thoughtful care of our animals while we were out of town. Our older dog needs medication and she was diligent about providing this to him right on schedule. We feel very comfortable having Lucy as a guest in our home. She is an excellent and trustworthy care giver and offers very affordable services. We will unquestionably use her service again in the future, in fact we already have two additional visits scheduled in the next month. Highly recommend Lucy's Pet Care!

We are new to Durham and have just discovered Lucy's Pet Care. We were matched with Callie, who recently took care of our two kitties while we were out of town for 4 days. The service was highly professional and well thought out. They went way beyond what we had expected when we first started looking for a pet care service. Callie came to our house prior to our leaving at no extra charge to meet our cats and to discuss their routines. We got daily texts- and pictures!- about how they were doing. Extras like bringing in mail, turning lights on/off, etc. were no extra charge. Both Lucy and Callie were delightful and I would highly recommend the service.

I Love Lucy's Pet Care Service. I have found there service to be easy to use with their online request for visits and scheduling. The billing process is easy also. Plus, the most important part is that they take care of my dog Lucy as if she were there's! They are always accommodating and flexible with my needs and changing schedule. Lucy’s is a LIFE SAVER for anyone who works or travels and has four legged children at home. My husband and I both work full time and can’t stay home all day. Our walker, Claire, is so kind and so great with our fur babies. She always sends us pup-dates after the visits with photos and videos, and it’s such a relief to know that they are in good hands while we are gone every day!

The caregivers from Lucy's Pet Care were very kind and thorough taking care of our dog and cat while we were away on a long weekend. The house was as clean as we left it, and the pictures they sent after each visit put our minds at ease on how the animals were doing. They even set the newspapers on our current stack neatly and out of the wet plastic!

My dog loves going to Top Dog! He needs to go out by himself and the trainers give him the one on one time. I love that I can see pictures on Facebook each time he is there to see how much fun he is having! Great customer service and the trainers are very caring! If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Top Dog completely failed in their duty of care for my dogs during their stay from December 19 to December 26, 2024. This experience was nothing short of traumatic for both my pets and me. First, I discovered through Top Dog’s Facebook page—FOUR DAYS after the fact—that my dog had a huge gash on her forehead. This injury reportedly happened the first night, December 19, but no one informed me. Seeing my dog’s injury online without any prior notice was heartbreaking and enraging. When I called to ask, I was told it was due to an altercation between my dogs. Second, I had specifically asked if my dogs could be boarded separately because my younger dog suffers from high anxiety around other dogs. I was told this wasn’t an option because of the high holiday volume. I reluctantly agreed to have them boarded together, as they live and sleep together peacefully at home. Later, I found out that my dogs were separated without my knowledge, and then they blamed the injury on a fight between them—something I find incredibly hard to believe given their history. When I demanded to see camera footage to verify this alleged altercation, they claimed they couldn’t provide it. This only added to my suspicions and deepened my distress. To make matters worse, I wasn’t informed until December 23 that my older dog had stopped eating for two days. This is critical information that should have been communicated immediately, not days later. When I called Top Dog on December 23 after seeing the Facebook photos, the receptionist apologized, and I was told the manager would speak with me. The manager admitted they “dropped the ball” but said the owner could only be contacted through email. I requested compensation for this nightmare of an experience, but the owner refused. I was so worried about my dogs’ safety that I cut my holiday trip short and flew back early, missing time with my family, just to get them out of there. This place caused me and my dogs unnecessary stress, heartbreak, and anxiety. If your pets are part of your family like mine are, do not trust them with Top Dog. I will never return, and I hope no one else has to endure this kind of neglect.

We picked up our girls today from a 7 day boarding. It was our first time away from them for that long since adopting them last year. We were really missing them, but top dog posted pictures on their FB everyday multiple times a day of their play/day school groups. It was so nice to see them happy and playing and working on good manners. I really appreciate that they do this! We have sent them to day school a few times leading up to this boarding and will continue to do so, as well as boarding. If you want to keep your dog somewhere safe and structured, this is the place to do it! Thank you top dog and trainers for keeping our babies safe and happy! And especially reinforcing good manners on top of it all!

I.. LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE Top Dog!!! They take such great care of my Topiee and every staff member treats her and praises her as if she was their own puppy. Ive been boarding and taking topiee to day school since topiee was about 4/5 months, maybe less, and she has been loved ever since! Top dog was such a blessing to find. They are super understanding and flexible. just all around an amazing place. And i love the pictures. I mean does her face look like an unhappy pupper?

Elodie is always super excited to go to daycare. I usually tell her the night before that she is going, and then the morning of daycare, she is antsy because she is ready to start her day! She tugs against her leash to get inside (which she rarely does otherwise). They always shower her with attention! All of the employees that I’ve met are really friendly and great with doggies. At the end of the day, Elodie is exhausted from playing with her dog mates and sleeps well that night. I love the fact that they have a Facebook page and post updates on your fur baby throughout the day. They also give a report at the end of the day when you pick your pup up so you will know what kind of day they’ve had. I’m highly pleased with Top Dog and would recommend them to anyone! Update: 3/15/24 Elodie is still going here and extremely excited when we pull in their driveway. I wish I could add more stars to their review! This past week was Elodie’s second birthday. They threw her a little birthday pawty and gave her a doggie cookie-cake! I updated the photos to show a screenshot of a video they provided to me. I’m so pleased with their care of my fur baby ❤️

Our dog Henry (an English Springer Spaniel, more or less) has been a once a week Day School participant for over two years now and occasional vacation boarder. He loves it! The staff are clearly committed dog people. Upon arrival Henry usually walks around the counter to rub against staff members and always gets a friendly pat and a “Oh, Henry!” He’s been to boot camp there too for intensive training and graduated. Top Dog is also very diligent about health of the dogs and up to date vaccinations. Lucky to have them.

Penny gets very excited when we pull up to your parking lot. She always looks back as we whisk her away. We know she loves it there. Based on her recent report card, we know she is being well taken care of and loved. We thank you so much for all you do

We just got our pup back after her 4 week boarding school stay and she is the same energetic pup but with great manners!! I have a two year old daughter and four year old son and my puppy quickly began to outweigh them and was guilty of jumping on them, biting (playing but hurting), and furniture climbing (including tables and counters). Additionally she was awful on a leash. I was so stressed out by the time I dropped my pup off on her first day with Top Dog. Top Dog was incredible with communication. There were daily update videos and pictures as well as report cards. On my pups first day home, she has not attempted to climb on any counters or jump on me and my kids. Her leash training has improved so much that I took both kids and the pup to the park today with confidence! I now have the confidence to continue to maintain and further her training and learning. I was referred to Top Dog by a friend last year when I adopted a high-medical needs dog. My dog absolutely loved day school, and the staff at Top Dog took excellent care of him - from administering his medications to making sure he was safe. After his passing, I adopted another dog and brought him to Top Dog. We are also learning that he be prone to seizures, and the staff at Top Dog have been absolutely wonderful. The owner kept a close eye on our dog until we we able to pick him up after he had one recently. I feel completely comfortable with Top Dog, and highly recommend them for day school and boarding. Butters LOVES going to Top Dog because he is treated so well by every single human there. His nails were manicured the best I have ever seen them. And he spent his first week boarding away from us with this amazing place and sailed through with flying colors. He truly gets excited when we pull in for a play day. I adopted a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy and he became available before I had anticipated he would be available. I travel for work and was in an area where I was unfamiliar with the Doggy Daycares. I was so fortunate to find Barkmore House! Hollie was extremely helpful with ensuring all our paperwork was in order and actually met with Astro (puppy) and me on a Sunday afternoon, so we could start daycare on Monday. Barkmore House has a beautiful yard and when not outside he was in a home environment. I was sent pictures every afternoon, which besides being a nicety, was how I learned that Astro loves being around big dogs. I had taken him to a dog park where we live, but he never seemed very interested in the small dog area. After seeing the pictures of him always near the big dogs, I took him to the big-dog side of the dog-park area and he has a grand time running and playing with the Labs and Golden Retrievers. If you’re in the Chapel Hill/Durham area in the need of Dog Daycare/boarding, I highly recommend you checkout Barkmore House. You will not find a more loving and personalized daycare and boarding! With the exception of two, most of these photos were shared with me from Barkmore House. Please note, the one where he is sleeping peacefully in someone’s arms, that is at Barkmore House, I don’t think you can find loving attention anywhere else!

I’ve been with the Barkmore house for at least a year now and they are wonderful! Colby is always excited to go and happy when I pick him up at the end of the day! They always send me pictures while he's in their care which gives me peace of mind while I’m working, and they are great with communication! Definitely worth reaching out if you’re looking for a trustworthy and loving environment to bring your pup :D

I moved to Durham for a psychiatric nurse practitioner residency at the Durham VA in fall of 2023. With me, I brought my precious companion, a miniature Australian shepherd named Jedi. I am so grateful for Barkmore House. It was like leaving my dog with family. I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism of the owners and all staff. The play area was clean and well constructed . It is bar none, the best doggie day care in Durham. I cannot sing their praises enough. I'm happy and my dog is ecstatic to go each day. We absolutely love Barkmore House! Hollie and Joe are so kind and my dog loves going there! Historically, my dog does not like to be left anywhere, and acts incredibly skittish and fearful when I try to drop him off. But that is NEVER the case with Hollie and Joe. They send me regular pictures and updates when he is there. He is a happy dog when I drop him off and a happy dog when I pick him up!! All of the pics are ones they have sent me while my pup is there - I have so many pictures from them that it was hard to choose, but this is a small sampling of what you can expect to receive. We LOVE Barkmore House!

We have been using the Barkmore House for a little while now. We love Hollie & her family. We are always at peace of mind knowing our girl is safe and sound here. We get frequent updates and quick responses! Junnu (our black lab) loves Hollie and her family. We have used the Barkmore House for both daycare & overnight stays and wouldn’t want our dog going anywhere else!

We absolutely adore Barkmore! We have left our pup Hudson with them multiples times, for 3 weeks at one point! He ends up having the best vacation of us all! Hollie is so communicative, sending pics and video updates so you can see how your pup is doing. She makes the drop off and pick up process so easy, and has transformed her entire yard into a dog’s playground. We couldn’t recommend them more if we tried! I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Hollie and her family at the Barkmore House truly love the dogs they care for and it shows. My dog came home happy, healthy and tired after his 6 day stay. I received pictures and videos of everything from him playing with his new doggie friends to cuddling with the family in bed. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a safe alternative to a kennel.

I’m so glad we found Barkmore House! Nandor grew too fast and became really uncertain of his body. He was nervous when meeting other dogs in the large doggy daycare chains and when I brought him to meet Hollie for the first time, I knew he was going to be in good hands. It’s so comforting knowing that someone will care for him the way I would in my absence. I love being able to take him to Barkmore House for the day knowing he will play, and be loved and be exhausted when he comes home. This is the perfect daycare for us and we love the updates we get during his visits!

I was in business school for two years and had my dog stay at The Barkmore House whenever things got too hectic and it by far has been the best boarding experience we've had! Hollie and the rest of the Barkmore House crew will treat your dog like family. I couldn't recommend them more.

We’ve been taking our dog here for a few months now for boarding and daycare and it’s been great! Everyone that works here is super kind and my dog loves them. He is always so excited to go whenever we pull in the parking lot. Best part is that he is always pooped when we get home from playing so hard. Definitely recommend for anyone with energetic dogs!

My dog loves this place so much, that I don’t feel bad boarding her here when I go out of town- rather, it’s like a vacation for her too! The notes from staff are always adorable and it is clear they care for the dogs to the point of above and beyond. The extra services are worth the cost. Doggy paradise! Your dog will be so happy and loved at Chapel Hill Pet Retreat. In the same location as the former Chapel Hill Pet Resort, the new owners are amazing and the place is even better than before. Our pit mix is greeted so warmly every day, has loads of space to run and play and comes home so happy and tired every single day. He looks forward to seeing his pup pals and his human buddies there too. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, friendly and pup loving. Boarding, day care, baths, photos, they’ve got you covered! I mean, c’mon! Look at these photos! We love this place and simply can’t recommend it enough.

This has been the best daycare/boarding facility we have been to. Freyja is always super excited to go and always sad to leave. The staff has been absolutely amazing. You can tell they all have a genuine love of animals and have always treated Freyja like she was a part of the family.

We love CHPR! Biscuit spends a good amount of time here, as we travel, and he loves it. Under new management, the physical building has undergone renovations and fresh paint. Extended business hours are nice for late pick up. And, Biscuit loves his cuddle times, walks and baths. The professional staff takes good care of him, so we know we are dropping him off into good and enthusiastic hands. :). Keep up the great job CHPRetreat!

We had to leave our dog here last minute due to an unexpected family emergency. The staff was so accommodating and sweet, and Moose had a wonderful time! They also took great pictures of him through the stay. We will definitely be using this place again!

I have been trusting chapel hill pet retreat with my baby for over a year now and I’m very grateful for the care and consistency that the team has provided both me and my dog. Chapel Hill Pet Retreat has been an incredible place to board our dog, Cooper. He gets quite nervous without us near, but he is only purely excited when we drop him at CHPR. We love the pictures they post on Facebook of him playing with the other dogs and loving life. The rates are reasonable and the people are lovely. I fully recommend boarding your pet there for any duration!

I took my dog to Green beagle for a four-hour trial daycare session (2 PM to 6 PM) and paid $50. When we got home, I noticed multiple injuries on my dog’s nose, which made me really upset. The lighting in the facility was dim, so I didn’t see the injuries right away. Although the staff sent a text message and explained the situation in person, I still feel this was due to inadequate supervision. My dog came home unhappy and seemed distressed. Injuries caused by hump from another dog. Determined to stop hump's behavior, it is not known which dog hump is, and has not received any response. I won’t be bringing my dog back here, and if your pet needs a safe environment, I wouldn’t recommend this daycare.They do not care the dog！！

Penny is continuing to love and grow at Green Beagle! She goes once a week. And she just returned from a short weekend board and we had checked on her through photos on Facebook. She is no longer the timid, scared dog in the corner. She was in the middle of the pack with the big dogs playing! She loves the people there, and I feel she is well loved and cared for. I get texts if there are any concerns which is very comforting. We love it! Thanks everyone at Green Beagle!

Would like to give a shout to Alissa at Green Beagle Lodge for being the best groomer my dogs and I have worked with. And this is the case while Alissa was completing her training! I think the key is her communication skills. She inquires, listens, and really looks to implement what the dog owner wants. She is clearly good with dogs because one of mine is high on the jumpy scale and had a good bit of knots that I couldn't get near, while Alissa gave her a great haircut.

Love Green Beagle Lodge! My 2 small dogs come home healthy and happy. These dogs recognize the parking lot of their groomer and their vet, and resist going into either one, but they eagerly go into GBL, which is the best recommendation there is!

We love the Green Beagle Lodge! So far, we have only done the occasional Saturday of doggie daycare, but we take comfort in knowing that our 9 month old puppy loves going and is well and truly tired out when we pick him up. We really appreciated the half day assessment requirement before becoming a client. It helped us understand how well socialized our pup is and what we can improve upon. It also gave us some great peace of mind knowing that he was going to be amongst dogs who had the same temperament testing before being able to do the off leash, group play. The running spaces are huge! The dogs have their own 4 by 6 foot kennel and get special diets prepared in the mornings and at night! They have a swimming pool and a football fields and their potty needs are met early in the day and before bedtime! I will definitely be boarding my 🐕 dog there whenever I need a sitter! …

Our Dog had a wonderful time here with both boarding and day care. He actively gets excited to get in the car to head over, and positively flies out of the car to go inside. We got many helpful updates about how he was doing while he was boarding there and they took excellent care of him while there. We also got lovely photo updates!

We adopted our pup about a year ago in the pandemic. The rescue we got him from had very little info about him, and he ended up being much higher energy than we expected (especially for our first dog!). Not having a backyard was tough despite 3 walks a day, so we looked into daycare options very early on. Green Beagle was highly recommended by one of our friends. Having that space for Otis to run around off leash was a game changer for us & allowed us to make it work. He loves everyone at Green Beagle and is always SO excited to be there. When we are out of town, we also board him there and know he’s in good hands and is having a blast. We started with a half day weekly and he now goes twice a week, which is the perfect amount of time to keep this energetic, athletic pup from any destructive behaviors in the house while we are working but also not overly stimulated. We also love looking through the daily pictures from when he’s at daycare to see if we can spot him playing. As with any daycare (for kids or pets), he gets an illness going around occasionally & has gotten an injury but they let us know immediately and we were able to get him stitched up. Not getting that pent up energy out while he recovered was the tough part, so it’s still well worth it for us. Scheduling is tough unless you book well in advance, but it makes sense because of their great staff, facilities, and just the way they do things (grouping dogs by size/energy, dog to staff ratio, naps, rotating through yards). Hopefully they can expand to fit the demand because they’re awesome!

As a cat parent who is always very anxious about leaving my kitties when traveling, I cannot recommend Bull City Pet Sitting enough. They have been outstanding. The online scheduling and messaging system is a breeze and makes the logistics of scheduling and keeping in touch while traveling very simple. I love getting the visit summaries and photos of every visit. During our most recent trip out of town, Jane went above and beyond with one of our cats who is very shy and remained well hidden throughout most of the trip. She really helped alleviate the worry I was experiencing during this time. It's always tough to leave your pets behind when traveling but knowing they're well taken care of helps so much.

Bull City Pet Sitters (BCPS) looked after our two cats while we were out of town for 12 days. Ashley came by our house 3x a day to feed, pet and play with our cats and communicated to us (by text and with pictures) each and every time regarding her visits. The cats both seem to love Ashley and this gave us great peace of mind while we were away for so long. She also did a great job of keeping the house looking clean and tidy while we were away. I would recommend BCPS, and Ashley, in particular, to anyone who needs their animals cared for while they are away from home. It will make your trip more enjoyable and, most importantly, it will really help your pets be less stressed and more comfortable while you’re away.

Bull Sitting Pet Sitting has come to the rescue many times. I travel frequently on the weekends and Bull City is always there to take care of my shy cat. My sitter has gotten my cat to come out from hiding to meet her, which is an amazing feat. They are patient with my old dog and send me updates and beautiful pictures of my babies. I have also had Melissa provide massage services for my elderly lab, suffering from arthritis. She was able to get my boy moving more freely again.
