2016 review (updates for 2024 further below)......Michael has been walking my two Rottweilers for a little over a month now. I am extremely selective with who looks after my dogs owing to bad experiences with walkers in the past, and contacted Good Boy Dogs after reading reviews praising Michael's gift for working with large, strong, or reactive dogs. I totally trust him with my dogs' safety, have found him to be very reliable, and see that my dogs are ALWAYS happy to leave for an outing with him! He is attentive to my dogs' needs and different energy levels, temperaments, and physical abilities. I feel my dogs are well looked after with Good Boy Dogs, and happily recommend them. 2018 Edited to add: he’s now been looking after my dogs for over two years, and I’m as happy as ever. 2019 Edited again to add: and now he also walks my ’new’ Rottweiler - a young, BIG boy from the shelter. He gave Micheal some attitude in the beginning, but Michael continued to walk and work with him. He’s integrated just fine now :) 2024: still my dog walker eight years later, always will be. He's now looked after five of the dogs in my family, including my new girl who came from abuse and was TERRIFIED to leave the house w strangers, much less men. She loves Michael.

We have been thrilled with Good Boy Dogs! Michael walks our 2 dogs twice a week and both dogs are so happy when he arrives. Our one dog is very anxious with strangers so I wasn't sure how she would react to a dog walker but she bonded with Michael quickly without any issues. We also love the text updates that Michael sends us so we know what happened on the walks. We also use Good Boy Dogs for grooming and they do such a fantastic job (much better than other groomers we have used) and for boarding. It's so convenient that they offer everything that we need for our dogs! I would highly recommend them and so would our dogs!

My fur baby, Chico, boarded with Michael for two weeks while we were on vacation. I was nervous leaving him for such a long period of time but he had tons of fun. He had lots of playtime and fresh air and he even made a new friend! Michael was kind enough to send me videos of Chico and he looked so happy and content. If you need a place to board your little fur baby, look no further!! I highly recommend Michael.

My family and I worked with Michael this summer with our little Yorkie with a big personality! We were happy with his service and training with our dog! Mike has been walking our dog for a few months now and we are so glad we found him. He is reliable, quick to respond, and always understanding of our schedule. On top of this, our dog's behaviour on the leash has improved so much since walking with Mike. We were initially concerned about pack walks, as our dog has shown somewhat aggressive behaviour towards other dogs in the past but Mike completely put our mind at ease - we don't know how he did it, but our "aggressive" dog now happily pack walks! Would highly recommend Good Boy Dogs!

If you need a dog walker - Michael is your man! I feel so grateful that I found his name as a searched for someone to walk my dog Lola. She was a puppy when she started with Michael - and I would say it's a draw on who she is more excited to see between me/Michael! As soon as she hear's his voice/whistle her tail starts wagging and she drops whatever she is doing to go to him. He is incredibly professional, 100% reliable and is excellent with dogs. I sometimes watch as he walks off with Lola and her dog friends and I am amazed at how calm and behaved all the dogs are with him. I strongly believe that Lola has turned out to be such a friendly, good natured dog because of the time she spends with Michael and her dog friends. In addition to the daily walks (he provides daily reports immediately after), Michael has also cares for Lola when we have been out of town. He takes such good care of her - it's so reassuring to know she is not just in good hands while we are gone, but she is having fun too! Michael has also connected us with a fantastic groomer - Stephanie. She does an amazing job with Lola (a labradoodle) and her rates are very reasonable. Stephanie is also very good with dogs, listens to what we want done (I was very worried with that first cut :) and Lola always comes back looking super cute and smelling great! I couldn't imagine having anyone else but Michael look after Lola when we are not around.

Mike is an outstanding dog walker and has really helped improve the behaviour of our dog Logan (a 80lb Valley Bulldog). Logan always used to have individual walks because we were never sure how we would react around certain dogs but after only 2 weeks with Mike, Logan was walking great in a pack, which we never thought would be possible. Mike is flexible, accommodating and even boards Logan when we are out of town. We trust him with our dog and would recommend him to anyone looking.

We are very fortunate to have found Mike. Both my husband and I work long hours and felt terrible about leaving our little cockapoo alone all day. Dexter absolutely loves his pack walks and looks forward to going out with Mike every day. The pick up and drop off service makes it extremely convenient for us. Mike is very reliable and takes excellent care of Dexter. We have also boarded Dexter with Mike and he has been given nothing but the best treatment. Both of us and especially Dexter are very grateful for Mike. We have also had Dexter groomed by Stephanie. She does an excellent job and puts a lot of care and attention into her grooming.

Michael was recommended to us because our little chihuahua was anxious and barky around other dogs and needed a good walker. Michael has proven reliable and capable, a pleasure to work with, and our dog has really benefited from the regular pack walks--he's much mellower now!

Wynnie loves her walks with Michael! He has been walking her for a few months now and she really looks forward to it. Michael is really reliable and flexible with our schedule. He picks up and drops off Wynnie which really makes things easy. So glad we found him!

Rob is an amazing little pup groomer. Our Halo was introduced for her puppy cut at 4 months and lately her big girl cut. Our family is so thrilled with his care and loving touch to our little Halo. She looks so beautiful. THANK YOU ROB you are the BEST!!

My pup Chico has been going to daycare regularly for almost 2 yrs. I can't express the excitement he has when he knows it's time to visit his friends and see the staff. He has monthly grooms with Carli and just adores her. She is wonderful at shaping and grooming a pomeranian which can be difficult to maintain. Thank you Social Pup for always taking such great care of my boy!

I started taking my two senior dogs to The Social Pup for grooming earlier this year. I am so impressed with Jalissa, who has treated them with such gentleness and kindness, and done an exceptional job of grooming them. As a first time dog owner, I was nervous about grooming my new Havanese puppy. Leanne explained so much to me and helped me select the proper grooming tools and services. Wonderful customer service! Carli did a fantastic job grooming my puppy. She addressed all my concerns in both the grooming services so far, and gave me great advice for in between grooms. I really appreciate her time before and after the groom. The rest of the staff is so friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend them.

A very positive environment for our Boston Terrier (Bentley) to maintain his socialization skills. He is always excited to go there, and hesitant to leave. Professionally run, with a very nice online booking system. You can monitor your pet remotely.

I can't say enough good things about The Social Pup. Fawn, my young cattle dog x shepherd mix has been going there regularly for half days (plus a nail trim every 2 weeks) for about 2 months now. She was a bit shy at first and I really appreciated how the team integrated her with the play group in a way that worked perfectly for her. She absolutely loves going there now and I know I can drop her off with confidence knowing she will have a great time with her doggie friends and be well cared for.

I can’t say enough about Social Pup. The staff are like family. They love our dog Lucy like it’s their own. We are so thankful for everything they do for us and our community. The owner is a local business owner and takes so much pride in her business and her customers. You cannot get a better doggy daycare service anywhere. I highly recommend Social pup.

This is a fantastic team with a beautiful facility! They were empathetic and very helpful when I had a potentially last minute need to board my dog. And their tour of the facility is top notch! I cannot say enough good things about the team and their kindness towards animals. Your pets are in good hands here - great work, guys, keep it up! They also are beginning renovations to open an outdoors area for our doggy friends which would be a very welcome, enjoyable area for them! I am truly blessed to be able to bring my Begal to a very kind and caring place When I leave my fur baby at Dogtopia I have peace of mind that Betsy is being extremely well looked after. I also feel the Webcams are such a superior idea to watch your fur baby have fun With the Webcams you can see how extremely well your fur baby is being taken care of. I highly recommend Dogtopia Aurora Village to take your fur baby for Daycare or boarding.

My puppy has been enjoying Dogtopia Aurora since February 2024. It is a top-notch puppy daycare. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the environment. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. My puppy comes home happy and exhausted which is a sign of engaging activities. I recently boarded my puppy there for a couple of nights and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The daily photo updates were wonderful and provided me with peace of mind knowing that my puppy was having a blast when I was away. I’m grateful to have found such a caring and reliable puppy daycare for my furry family member. Kudos to the amazing staff!!!!

This.Dogtopia is incredible! The entire staff and team are knowledgeable and Huge doggo lovers! They also have a Bone and Biscuit Pet Store attached! One stop! Will be back soon!

Came out in advance to ask if they’d be able to handle my dog who stresses over dog groomers, said “no problem we have 8 years of experience”. Came in, groomer took one look and said it’s not happening. Didn’t even bother to try just one quick lock and off you go. Other groomers were able but, guess not all.

Such an awesome place for my BOY Bueller. He never wants to leave and loves playing with all the other friendly dogs! Great people , great place!!

The team at Dogtopia Aurora is fantastic! I started to bring my black lab mix Jasper there about four months ago and I have never felt so comfortable leaving him somewhere for the day or overnight. The staff goes above and beyond to get to know all of their pups extensively and always ensures the utmost safety, comfort and fun!! I have been to other Dogtopias and this location is hands down my favorite. Jasper can get anxious when I leave him somewhere but here it is never an issue and he sleeps well overnight. Thank-you Dogtopia Aurora for everything you do for Jasper! :)

I love this place! The team is amazing, caring and professional. My dog Hairy was diagnosed with separation anxiety and now he is getting along to the other dogs there. I am so glad and happy that I found this place!

I am very grateful to the staff at Kind-R-Care for their excellent care of my Labrador, ,Charlotte, over the past 10 years. Petra was recommended to me when Charlotte was young as a great place for her to socialize and exercise. From her first visit, Charlotte loved going to 'camp'. My fur babies have been with Petra and her staff for a couple of years now. My husband and I have always been very impressed with the attention and kindness from Petra and her staff regarding the safety and the love our babes get. Rotties are lovable pups and this group has taught our babes better interaction with other pups. They come home tired each time . Thank you so much.

This Doggy Daycare is fabulous. Petra and her staff are great to deal with. I took my two dogs there for many years. They just loved to go there. If you had an emergency Petra would always help out.

My pup has been attending Kind-R-Care since 2020 and she gets excited to see Petra every single time!!! She whines as we get close because she knows where she's going and she can't wait to spend her day running and playing with all her friends. My puppy Oliver LOVES spending the day with Petra and all his dog friends! Once we pull into the driveway he cannot wait to get to the front door. Dogs have acres of land to run around in the back and the settings is gorgeous! So much nature and green space! They get a lot of attention by the staff and they get a lot of fresh air all day long. I highly recommend Kind-R-Care!

Reliable, Professional and Trustworthy. I wanted my 7 month old pup in good hands while I was out of the country and got exactly that. Nicole had reached out to me seeing that I had a puppy and needed a sitter and told me that would be more than happy to take Teddy in while I was gone. Mind you, I booked last minute, got stuck in traffic and was a little late. Despite this. She was very undertanding and happily took my pup into her pack! I was sent updates, and the cutest pictures and videos. And when I came back, I came back to a calmer, gentle well behaved puppy. I highly recommend Kloud9 for all of your K9 boarding and Training needs!

Nicole is very nice and knowledgeable! I needed last minute dog sitting and she was available for me on short notice! Unfortunately I had to end my pups stay early but Nicole tried her best to make it work I was impressed with her honesty and sincerity about what was best for my pup! I brought my pup over to Nikki as I was struggling with my pup being in his teenage phase and testing boundaries. I first found Kloud9 for boarding. My Toy Poodle, Dhalia- Angel, was cruelly abused at this Groomimg Business. Leaving with her tail between her legs, haunted eyes, the need for retraining with Pee-pads and feeding by hand, she is still very delicate, extremely timid of strangers and very protective of our Home! In spite of my Report and appeals to the Owner, she chose to prioritize her Business! I trust this Review will help protect our precious Pet-friends from such cruel, unwarranted mistreatment!

Nothing but fantastic things to say about this business and its staff! Kind, compassionate and personalized care for my babies and they ADORE being there! They have a full day of play and exercise and are asleep in the car before we get home!! Love love LOVE K9 to 5! Thank you for everything!

Simply the best! The best care, the best staff, the best groomers, just the best! We have been clients for almost 20 years. Over the years, K9 to 5 has cared for our two dogs. From the initial behavioural consultation, through the initial introduction and now on going daycare and night care, we couldn’t be happier. The cage free environment is clean and supervised 24 hours a day by onsite staff. We know that our girl is in good hands. Bailey is always eager to enter the facility and always comes home tired. She loves her cuddles with all staff members! The groomers are skilled and provide excellent services as well. K9 to 5 has helped us out on countless occasions - on one occasion, when we had a flight delay of more than 24 hours, they purchased more food for Bailey when she ran out. Exemplary service! Truly, the staff treat our Bailey like family. It is her home away from home. What more could we ask for? If you need daycare, nightcare, or grooming, please give a call to K9 to 5, you won’t be disappointed.

Great place for daycare - my dog loves coming here! The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Our dog has medical needs and they have been so welcoming and give her the medication without issue. I am always confident she will be well cared for and have a fun time with the other dogs!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough!! We have been bringing our dogs here for over 20 years. Each one is so excited to arrive and can’t wait to get in to play. The cage free environment is the only way we would leave our dogs. They separate the big and small dogs..overnight care is always supervised and the staff are amazing- from grooming to day care or overnight long stays you and your fur baby will not be disappointed.. highly, highly recommend!! 5 star doggy service.

We sent our puppy here for a while and one day I picked him up and when he got in the car he was bleeding everywhere. I called and said what happened they told me “oh another dog bit him out of excitement”. It wouldn’t stop bleeding so brought him to the vet he needed antibiotics. Still a month later there has been no healing since it is the tip of his tail. When I called about some compensation like a few free daycare sessions the owner Vanessa was disgustingly rude. She said they did nothing wrong but they never told me what happened. She kept repeating there was nothing to tell. Honestly I’ve never been so disgusted by someone in my life. No care. No sympathy. No APOLOGY! Please tell me that my walls being constantly covered in blood because his wound keeps opening is NOTHING

Very cute that they take a bathtub picture on the first visit. Normally grooming for my small dog takes roughly 3 hours. However last time my dog was there for 6 hours (not ideal as he has anxiety, but great if you are working and need the daycare option). He also contracted kennel cough on his last visit (he recovered quickly). Can be a little pricey but the blueberry facial was a great service for my dog.

My dog Scootie is new and enjoyed her first day so much. She is a high energy and very friendly dog and needs a ton of exercise. I’ve never seen her so exhausted as she did last night coming home from K9to5. She was so happy and sleepy and clearly had a fun day of playing with friends. We can’t wait to bring her back to play with more friends.

I have been taking my dogs to k9 to 5 for over 4 years now for doggie daycare, grooming and even the puppy training class for my new fur baby. I have had a wonderful experience with this company, my dogs spa days are exceptional he always comes back home extra beautiful and they give you a free day of daycare on your grooming day. The groom is amazing, my pup is always excited to go there that now it has become a routine that at least 3 days a week we take him there! Jim and Vernessa are fantastic and genuinely love these dogs like they were there own, not to mention the wonderful ladies they have working for them! I highly recommend taking your fur babies there it is great for them and they are most definitely in great hands!

Lily’s Doggie Daycare is the perfect home away from home for us!! I know she will be well cared for and get all the cuddles she so desperately needs. We have tried a few other places and it was such a stressful experience for our dog. Lily and Nicole only take in your dog (along with their own) and give them free run in their home. They send photos of walks or cute moments which is such a personal touch. Our dog comes home happy every time. We are so happy to have found them!
