I had to find a home for my son's dog. I went to Copper Creek Kennels and introduced the dog to the Owner. She was a wonderful person, she understood the sadness l was feeling. I was able to contact her to see how the dog was doing. He was in his glory. The dogs were out the day prior to me calling. She told me he had he wonderful time, he never took off but stayed with the other's. She said she thought he would have to be leashed but he didn't. He was doing very well and she already had someone who was very interested in him. He went to his fosters home for a bit. She definitely does not hand an animal over without an in depth check up. Well he ended up staying, had his own bdrm, huge yard, they were an outdoors couple and he loved it! Copper Creek is a wonderful place. She is very loving to all, spending much time with them ❤️

My experience with Christine was fantastic, you can tell she loves the dogs and has tons of experience in dealing with them. Christine herself was helpful and accommodating and very friendly. I'd happily use her services again.

Been going to Copper Creek for the past seven years whenever we needed a place to have our Aussie Shepard Neeka well looked after. Christine is an amazing lady who truly cares for every animal left with her. All we have to do is tell Neeka she is going to see Christine and she goes crazy. They are top notch.

What an amazing experience we recently had with our first visit to Copper Creek Kennels. Extremely impressed with the professionalism and overwhelming comfort we felt when leaving our pet for the fist time with Christine and her family. Professional and accommodating, but more importantly, Christine and Andrew are genuine people who truly care for our pets. Boarded my two kitties for two weeks and they had a great time! I could tell they were treated well with love and care. Will use her services again in the future. Thank you!

So glad I found Copper Creek Kennels. Our dog echo was super happy when we picked him up and I really do think he had an amazing time! The staff are so sweet and kind, and with such a big beautiful property it really is an amazing place for your pet to be. So excited to have found such a perfect place for my fur baby while I go away.

Your pets are loved and cared for and owners are very down to earth people. Grounds and kennels are clean and comfortable and organized. Each pet is treated with respect and dignity.

Our dog Daisy has been going to A Fetching Place weekly for over a year and it is her favorite day of the week. She always comes home tired and happy. We have also had her stay at boarding multiple times (for up to a week) and NEVER doubt that she is getting the best care (incl. human snuggles, a necessity of course). We are moving away from Peterborough and are sad to say goodbye to her Fetching Place family. A Fetching Place daycare and boarding is absolutely worth it — the facility, professionalism and care is top notch!

Our dog Marty started going to A Fetching Place in November. We're new to Peterborough. We couldn't be happier. Marty is OBSESSED with going and the staff are always so friendly. Its such a relief finding a new dog daycare that we can trust.

This place is great, have been taking my pup here since she was fixed 2 years ago. She loves it, knows the place by name and leaps into car when she hears it, and is very excited to go inside when we arrive. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the dogs love them, and they are obviously genuinely concerned about the dogs wellbeing. I have no hesitation leaving my girl in their care for any length of time.

Love this day care for my dog. I've been bringing her since she was a puppy and even though now we live in a different city a few hours away, if we're doing any travelling we are happy to leave her here. Rates are great including overnights. They require your first visit to be a temperament test, to make sure that they fit in well with the other dogs which is something that I appreciate cuz I would expect the same for other dogs. But if you haven't gone there in over a year you'll need to redo the temperament test which is a small price to pay to ensure a safe place for your furry family member to stay. The staff are pretty knowledgeable and caring, and they always make you and your pets feel welcome. There's a large play space outside, and inside. The inside area does not have kennels, and instead has a large sleeping area with multiple coaches and TVs with animal shows on to keep the dogs entertained and comfortable. Plus there is always at least one staff looking after the animals.

My girl absolutely loves A Fetching Place! The staff are friendly & you can tell how much they love their jobs. My girl always comes home happy & tired.

My dog was injured under Fetching Place care, no accountability by staff. Staff were very rude, dismissive, dishonest, by lying to the owners regarding the injury, lying and dismissive about the occurrence, and referred to my dogs injury using the word “wonderful”, but that staff member did apologize immediately for stepping out of line with her words. Staff did have knowledge on my next visit, because it was the same lying staff member. That same staff member allowed me into the building, zero force was used. The injury wasn’t small, nor was it wartlike, it was an abrasion causing double sized swelling which he yelped at the touch. It wasn’t there in the morning, leading me to my question how it happened there, because if it was that painful at the touch he likely would’ve screamed during injury, and staff should have saw/heard it happen, unless he was unsupervised, and otherwise a wart on his paw would’ve been unnoticeable. I was warned by a friend of mine whose dog was attacked and suffered lacerations at Fetching Place, to which staff claimed the cameras weren’t working during the attack. I had no intentions of purchasing another care package, but the only honest thing that has been said by Fetching Place that I can agree with is that my dog Obi is indeed fantastic

5 Stars! Our Husky pup Jersey has been going to A Fetching Place since March 2021 and he absolutely loves it. When we first got our Husky pup, we underestimated the amount of energy he would have. If you own a high energy dog, this is the place for you! The day we introduced him, we knew that it was the right choice for our fur family member. Natasha and her team are amazing. They make sure our Pup is looked after, as if he was their own dog. (We joke and call Natasha Jersey's 2nd Mom. ) I love that our puppy gets to play with big and small dogs. He has learned to play nicely with everyone and understand cues when others want to play or need space. We have also noticed since he has started going to A Fetching Place he is much more obedient and calm at home. When we say the word 'walk' or 'outside' Jersey's ears perk up, However if we say' Daycare' , he loses his mind by howling and jumping around. A Fetching Place has been a game changer as a pet owner. It has been the best decision I have ever made and I am thankful to the staff for everything you do ❤ Thank you The Francis Family

Our dog loves going here. He is a anxious dog and Natasha worked so hard with him to make him feel comfortable . Now we board him for days at a time and we travel knowing someone sleeps with him at night !!! All the staff are amazing and very accommodating. I would highly recommend ☺

After moving to Bancroft, my husband and I needed to find someone to look after our two dogs occasionally. We met Katy and instantly felt comfortable leaving our dogs with her. She showed us her home and has been kind enough to watch our dogs on numerous occasions now. We never have any concerns leaving the dogs with her. She sends us photo and video updates. Our dogs get along great with hers and always have a great time staying with her. We are so appreciative to know our dogs are in such good hands with her and we really wouldn’t want to leave them anywhere else!

Katy looked after my cockapoo, Beau, every day while I was working. I was so comfortable leaving him and knew he was getting the best care. Beau could barely wait for the car to stop each time we arrived at Happy Tails - he jumped out of the car and ran right to Katy each day! He had so much fun there and I always enjoyed getting the videos of his day with his dog friends. I highly recommend Happy Tails - operates in a very professional manner. Looking for a dog walker? Look no further...After a devastating experience with an open concept pet resort in Niagara, we contacted Katy to help with our new puppy. We have now relied on Katy for over a year and a half and have never been disappointed! Our dog loves her and looks forward to her visits during the work day. We are totally comfortable giving her access to our home. Katy is always flexible if we have to change our days and even continued to come during a major renovation. We would not have been able to get a new puppy at that time without the help of Katy. I highly recommend her!

Happy Tails has been our go to dog retreat four our two small dogs. Katy is always quick and responsive to our needs & has always been able to take our dogs in a pinch. She is very affectionate towards both our dogs & we know they are going to be in good hands while we are away. Her set up is perfect & she always sends us a few pics of our dogs having fun while on vacation with Katy. I truly believe they are sad to leave when we come & pick them up. Highly recommended.

We have trusted Katy with our two dogs since 2010 and have been consistently delighted with her services as a dog walker and boarder. I appreciate her flexibility in scheduling: sometimes we book last minute, and we often book on an irregular schedule. She shows great care for our dogs, sends a message if something is out of sorts, leaves a note if something was really positive, and gives us plenty of notice if she will not be available for a period of time. Overall, Happy Tails has been a model of customer service for us and we know the dogs love her too. Highest recommendation!

Katy has been my dog walker for the last few years. I trust her completely with Molly and access to my house. She has always been very flexible with being able to come on weekends, holidays and evenings to walk and feed Molly when I'm working 12 hour shifts. She has even been able to accommodate me on several occasions when I've needed last minute services. I'm very grateful for Katy and her dog walking services. Molly loves her too!

This is the best place I've ever boarded my dog. Katy is amazing and my dog (Marlowe) is always excited to spend time with her - completely removes the stress from travelling and leaving Marlowe behind. Katy always keeps me up to date with pictures and text messages, is flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, and is fairly priced. She makes Marlowe part of her family while he's there - I couldn't ask for better! Highly recommend Katy and Happy Tails!

A few years ago Katy Askham, owner of Happy Tails Dog Walking & Pet Sitting, began as our occasional dog walker and is now also the primary home boarder for our small Shih Tzu mix. Katy is very reliable, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Her home and yard are clean and pet safe. She is great with dogs and open to handling special needs. We know our dog is glad to stay with Katy, as she happily runs in upon arrival. This is opposed to the cowering and quivering reluctance seen at the groomer and vet.

We hired Katy to walk our two dogs after a disappointing experience with our first dog walker and we can't say enough good things! Our dogs love her and always look forward to their walk with Katy; she is very reliable and is understanding and accommodating any time we have had to reschedule last minute. Her expertise and suggestions have helped us to improve our dog's unwanted behaviours; overall they are much more pleasurable to walk as a result of having spent time with Katy. We are thrilled to have her working with us!

Katy was a life saver. She came to visit my dog Lemon soon after I sent an email looking for a dog walker that could take on special needs. We instantly knew it would be a great fit; Lemon loved Katy and I was assured that Katy was a kind, knowledgeable, top-notch professional. Katy documented all of Lemon’s information and somehow found time in her busy schedule to visit during peak hours. She was also so accommodating whenever we had a change in our schedule. Lemon always had extra tail wags on the days she got to spend with Katy. We miss her now that Lemon spends more time with her grandma! I would recommend Katy to anyone looking to put their heart at ease knowing their dog will be in the most responsible and nurturing hands.

I have been bringing my dog since he was a puppy, and now he is 15 months old. He is always so happy to jump out the car and run over to greet Debbie. I have even boarded Walter when travelling over seas and overnight trips. The value for you money and peace of mind knowing your furry is safe, played with and taken cared for. No cages. Would highly recommend!

My dog Boomer loves it here. When I drop him off he can't wait to get out of the car. We have had bad experiences in the past at other doggie day care places, where our dog got sick with kennel cough and the fur was matted. Not here amazing care. Debbie and her partner treat every dog like they are theirs. Boomer loves them both. I have no hesitation in leaving our dog here for a day or overnight.

We’ve been boarding our two huskies Hugo and Harley at the Dog Pad & Paddle for two years now. Debbie, the owner is a gem, kind, communicative and most importantly wonderful with animals. We highly recommend the Dog Pad & Paddle to anyone looking for a safe and great environment for their pups while away.

My husband and I bring our dogs to Dog Pad and Paddle. Both of our labs have extreme separation anxiety and we are always so worried about leaving them. Our first time leaving them was back in November for a week. From the first time I met Debbie, I felt very comfortable. Our dogs love going to dog pad and paddle. They have been slowly easing out of their separation anxiety thanks to Dog Pad and Paddle. Plus they are always exhausted when we pick them up which is great too (as most dog parents to labs would understand lol) Also very reasonable pricing. 10/10 recommend!

My dog is here 3-4 days a week. She is so happy and well behaved. She is so excited when we pull in the driveway. This place is a godsend for keeping a healthy happy dog!

Usually have had no problems. I leave my here dog for the holidays because my parents dog doesn’t interact well with other dogs and they have a smaller house. Then we bring our dog along with us to my boyfriends so he can spend holidays with us rather than be caged up for 3 weeks. This was not an issue last year. This year however, it would be a bit of an understatement to say the owner wasn’t flexible with us. She was a bit rude with us as well. I called 2 weeks out and gave an ETA The day we were supposed to arrive we got stuck behind a semi collision for 6 hours. I called her at 2:00pm and told her we would be arriving at 10:00pm with the reason and she said “that’s so late” and tried to make us feel bad because she wanted to except business before her hours the following day “my next customer comes at 5:00am tomorrow…this stuff is hard” I wouldn’t disagree but her hours are posted as 6am-11pm. I was within those hours.

Willow's, 1-year-old Golden Retriever, first sleepover and it was great. I didn't worry, they sent pictures and updates on how she was doing and they were very accommodating with the drop-off and pick-up times. Willow was burnt out from all the fun. The following day all she did was sleep. I will be using daycare and overnight services again. Great way the socialize a pup in a supervised environment.

This is the best place for any dog. My dog loves to run and play and at times just loaf. She gets all this at Dog and Paddle. The dogs have huge and safe areas to play in. My dog comes home tired and happy. Which makes me happy. Deb and Richard treat the dogs like their own. Deb and Richard are professional and kind. The best kind of people to take care of my precious cargo.

This is long overdue! I've been bringing my puppy Mac here since he was very little. He is pretty high energy and a little bit spoiled so he can be a handful. Debbie and Richard have been wonderful taking care of him for day visits as well as overnights. Mac knows when he is getting close to the resort and starts getting excited a few km before we even get to the driveway! He always comes home nice and tired and sleeps a lot after he comes home. Thank you Debbie and Richard! You have been wonderful for Mac and I and we are very grateful to have you.

We have been using Walnut Grove Daycare for over 5 years now. We had been searching for a daycare for our dogs as we travel a lot for hockey. She didn't breed discriminate against our Rottweiler like many had. We knew instantly that this was not just a job to her. She cares about all the animals and goes above and beyond for her clients. We know when we drop our girls off they are being loved and cared for. She spoils them with a deluxe room with couches. She gives them one on one attention and walks and she has worked with them and us while we overcame a few obstacles. You will not find a better home away from home for your fur babies than Walnut Grove.

First and foremost, Anna and her team love all the dogs that come through their facility and it shows!!! I hesitated to bring my dog to any facility at first because I wasn’t sure what to expect but looking back I am so glad that I pushed past that uncomfortableness and Anna and crew made it easy!!! I never have to doubt if my dog is safe, she enjoys daycare and now knows when her day rolls around and rushes me out the door with excitement to get there and play with all her friends. I even have started boarding at Walnut Grove and that experience was outstanding!! Anna was amazing at reassuring me everything was going to be okay and it absolutely was. She prioritizes the best care for each dog and is amazing at what she does. I have a never ending list of great things to say about this facility, Anna and her amazing, accommodating staff. Your dog will receive the best care here no doubt and will leave happy and excited to return. I am so happy to be apart of this family because that is how your treated and that’s what it feels like each time ❤️

Walnut Grove is our dogs' home away from home! Our girls have stayed with Anna for over 6 years when we are on holidays and go weekly for doggie daycare. They are so excited as soon as they realize we are driving up the driveway. Anna and her team are fantastic to deal with, accommodating and excellent communication. Highly recommend.

The first person I’d let watch my dog is Anna from Walnut Grove. When we are up there Gracie loves Anna. I have not met a dog that doesn’t Ike her. Anna takes PRIDE in her doggie daycare. Anna and the whole Walnut Grove team are absolutely amazing!! My dogs get so excited on “puppy daycare” days and run to Anna as soon as I open the van door! They come home happy and tired out from all the play but are so excited when I ask if they want to go to daycare a week later! Best place ever!

I cannot say enough about this place, Walnut Grove Daycare Boarding and Spaw. Our rescue Deacon, had awful injuries that he experienced while on the streets of Mexico. He trusts very few people because of it but he knows Anna. He trusts her. She was on his team when he first got to Canada and helped him to go from street dog to our dog. Deacon is still fearful of most people so seeing him happy with her makes me happy. He didn’t forget her even though it’s probably been a year since he’s been there. My other dog Stella is cool as long as there is a ball, a thrower, food and a bed. Thank you Anna.

Even if we are headed in the opposite direction we will go out of our way to board our fur babies at Walnut Grove. My dogs get excited when we turn in the driveway. They get snuggles and play and Anna and her team care for them like they are their own. I wish we were closer for the daycare service!!

Anna treats your dog like they are her own! She clearly has a passion for her work and makes you feel confident and comfortable that you are leaving your pup in great hands. My small dog has issues with large dogs and she is always very accommodating with making arrangements to keep him separate from the bigger dogs and making sure he has lots of play time with the other smaller visitors. Highly recommend Walnut Grove for the next time you need a warm, safe and fun place for your dogs vacation!

Penelope has been going to Little Britain Doggy daycare since she was a puppy (the better part of a year). She absolutely loves her time there with Joce and all the puppies!

Jocelynne took care of my dogs as if they were her own. One of my dogs needs a slow introduction and some getting used to around others, and Jocelynne was so patient and trusted her, and remained professional throughout the whole process. A couple of hours later, she felt comfortable and was happy to be around the other dogs. They are now home and exhausted!! I would highly recommend Little Britain Doggy Daycare!

I can't say enough good things about Little Britain doggy daycare. We have been taking our beloved beagle Charlie there for the past 6 months for his regular spa visit. Jocelynne is always professional and Charlie just loves going. She is very passionate and caring and her attention to detail comes out with how good he looks when he leaves. Our one year old black Lab Bentley LOVES going to see Joce and his doggie mates. So much that when I turn on LB Road he starts going mental knowing where he is going! He comes home happy & exhausted. Joce keeps good care of them and constantly keeps you updated with videos and texts.

LBDD is amazing! What a wonderful addition to our community. I have a very energetic lab who loves her visits there. Jocelyn does a great job of matching dogs that play well together. Franky comes home happy and tired…. I have also used her boarding services this past May- exceptional, one-on-one customized care for each individual dog. I was very impressed. You also receive regular updates with videos and pictures throughout the time your dog is there. In addition, Jocelyn does grooming and nail cutting.. Franky’s recent manicure was lovely! Being a first time Frenchie mom I was extremely nervous for a stranger to watch my baby due to the high maintenance frenchies can be. Jocelynne has made each day incredibly easy and enjoyable with all the videos and photos as well as the quick response time for texts or calls. Elvis has been going to LBDD for only a short couple months, being 9 months old now, he has an incredible personality and social skills thanks to LBDD. I can’t thank jocelynne enough for the patients and support with getting Elvis use to daycare life. He now cries out of excitement as we enter the driveway ! He loves his doggy daycare family and friends 🐾

Camp K9 Seven dog kennel is truly a gem! Kevin, the pack leader, goes above and beyond to ensure that every dog feels loved and cared for. Our Buddy had the time of his life at the kennel, he was well-socialized, got plenty of exercise, and received an abundance of love. We were delighted to receive regular photo updates of Buddy enjoying his time with his kennel buddies while we were away. When we picked up our furry friend, we also received a detailed report on his behavior during his stay. Thanks to Kevin's expertise, our dog is now better behaved than ever before. We are incredibly grateful for Camp K9 Seven and their amazing pack leader!

Kevin was the absolute best thing to happen to my dog, Stella. I used him for daycamp so my anxious dog would be safe while I went to work. He does a careful trial day to see if your dog is a good fit for the pack. Camp playdays involve playtimes in wooded or field areas, structured walks, and rest times. He'll go above and beyond to correct social behaviours, give medications, and make sure every pup is having a good time tailored to their needs. I've known Kevin for many years now and deeply respect his work as a dog handler and business owner.

What a great place to take your pet. Very caring proprietors who look after your dog individually and in social groups. A wide selection of activities to keep them busy and happy to be away. Highly recommended.
