We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier. She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )
Sharon was by far the best sitter I’ve ever had! From the very first time we connected, she was communicative and proactive with follow up. She asked great questions prior to her stay and I could tell she’s done this many times and that she genuinely cares about the pets and homes she cares for. Sharon went above and beyond to leave my house in ever better shape, cleaning and organizing. It was a dream to come home to! Thank you Sharon!
Davis and Sydney were loving sitters for our pets. We even had an extra cat (our son's) and they took great care of all of the pets and our home. The pictures and the comments they sent showed us they figured out all of their quirky personalities very fast. It was nice to come home to a clean house and all pets were safe and happy! We would ask them back again.
Early in 2023 I went searching for a sitter to sit with our Lizzie for a month. I found Lori during my search and I am so happy I did. Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet. Do not hesitate to contact her for your pet sitting needs. I already have her booked for 10/2024 so don’t try and get her then!!!😁
If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. I can recommend her as a sitter without hesitation. Thank you Anna
Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care. Judith would take care of anyone's home and pets with as much care as she did at ours, and we highly recommend. Hope she can come back!!
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

New to the area and needed someone to feed my cat while I was away. I've used Robin now twice and would recommend Robin if you want to keep your cat at home rather than using a cattery.. thanks Robin for taking such good care of my Elsie cat
Robin is such a caring person and clearly loves looking after the dogs that visit him each day Willow my puppy absolutely loves Robin and enjoys spending each Wednesday with him
Robin is a lovely and kind man who took good care of our groodle Maxi for several sessions of daycare while we visited national parks and did some cycling on our Jervis Bay holiday. We definitely go back to Robin again if we need our dog minded again during holidays in this area.
What a wonderful carer Robin is. Such short notice and he was welcoming. Roxy had never stayed with anyone before. I quite think she made herself at home with her new best friend. So glad we found him.
Robin cared for my turtles and furry friends while I travelled interstate. Robin was very dedicated, caring and lovely as well as being very professional and flexible. On my return my animals were relaxed and happy, showing Robin"s caring and skill with animals. I have no hesitation recommending him as a kind, lovely and trustworthy pet carer. He also went out of his way, by sending photos and messages twice per day, ensuring I knew my animals were cared for and happy while I was away. Thank you Robin, both me and my animals are very grateful.
My dog LOVES staying with Robin! Robin is the kindest, most gentle carer you'll ever know. He's so knowledgeable and calm. It's such a relief, knowing my dog is having his Best Days Ever when he's with Robin!
Robins was happy to look after my two poodles from 9am till 8pm last Thursday as I had to go to my nephews memorial at Balmoral Beach in Sydney it gave me peace of mind to know they would be safe , Robin is very calm & caring. When I picked up the dogs they weren't panicking that tells me he's a gentle man . Thank you Robin for keeping them safe. Geraldine
We left our Jack Russell, Tobias, for a day with Robin and he looked really happy after. We really appreciate how he took care of our little one and the feedback given during the stay! Thanks!!
Robin is a pawsome dog carer. Took Lexi on short notice and she was more than happy to spend the day at his place. Dropped her off at 9AM and picked her up at 4PM to give us great day without having to worry about our furry family member. Highly recommended. Thanks so much Robin
Robin helped us out immensely with our very last minute request to have our Cavoodle, Charli. Robin's service was outstanding and we have no doubt Charli was well looked after and she had a wonderful time in a home based environment.
Karen is absolutely amazing, I have a special needs dog of 13 years old. She is blind and diabetic so she needs an insulin injection twice a day. I had commitments that I could not get out of for 7 days and no one would accommodate the dog as she was deemed too hard and put into the “Too Hard” basket. Karen asked for a meet and greet and did not hesitate to look after my girl for the week. When I picked her up I didn’t think she wanted to come home, Karen is an amazing carer and I can not recommend her facility enough. Thank you again Karen and Didge is going well.
Karen is really nice, our bunny has stayed a few times during holidays. It’s easy to book and drop off and pick up is a breeze. A great local service and I know our Bun is safe and well looked after while we are away.
We chose Bay and Basin boutique pet boarding because our usual kennels were fully booked. The website looked nice, so I took a chanch. Both me and my husband and daughter did not get good vibes the second we walked into the place. It was not clean and her greeting was rather frosty. These feelings were confirmed when she would not let us see where our cat would be staying. She did say we could see when we picked him up, however again, when we asked during pick up, she said no, we could not see the kennels. Our cat normally comes back from boarding happy and relaxed. He seemed visibly stressed for a few days upon return. Will definitely not be returning. Not being able to pick your cat up on a Sunday afternoon, I also think is a money grab. Most people who go away for a weekend will come back on a Sunday afternoon, but you have to pay for an extra day because of this rule.
Karen is a beautiful soul who looks after our fur babies whenever we go away. I’d never leave them with anyone else. The accomodation is spotless and safe and I can go away knowing my cats are well looked after.
Very professional, highly recommended. Karen goes above & beyond to help out for Doggy Day Care and longer boarding stays for various types of pets.
In my short experience just making a booking for two cats, Karen was very friendly. Very evident she loves cats. Karen was also very accommodating to special dietary requirements. The accommodation was clean and airy and it's really local.
I had no hesitation in boarding Gladys at Karen's home for another holiday. Gladys ( my parrot) returns home, loved with a clean cage and still talks to me. As we know birdies are prone to sulk. In fact on her last stay she had added to her vocabulary and learned to bark! Apparently this was the doing of Banjo the Princess Parrot and no blame was laid on the doggies running around having fun. I can recommend Bay & Basin Boutique Pet Boarding highly.
Great Jade loves her Tuesday s with the pups well-done Karen thank you
The owner is a responsible, wonderful and caring person. Our little doggo has so much fun with the other doggos, and we trust he is in good hands.
Highly recommend karen and her buisness.my cat couldnt have been better looked after,I actually think he loves staying there . Thanks karen .Definitely will be back.
We have left our dog on many occasions and have been very happy with the care and love that has been given to our dog, she always comes back happy , healthy and clean.
We have been taking our dog to ulladulla pet motel for over 3 years. They have been nothing short of incredible with our girl. We come home to stories of new friends made and a happy dog. Five stars and a five star team
Great dog minding place suited for well behaved dogs. Will be back as our pooch loved her stay !
Absolutely love this place. They were super accommodating of my 3 little ones over new years. They were especially tender with my eldest (12+) who was a rescue who struggled. I loved how enthusiastic the staff were with my furbabies... How they were just as excited as we are over our dogs and how they made a fuss. They had my 3 (Rescue Min Pin x, Min Pin and Italian Greyhound) for 3 days in total. 2 of my dogs are show dogs. I could tell and feel that they were loved and cared for just as I would have done. Highly recommend.
Only giving 1 star as I couldn't write a review unless I did. This place is terrible, dropped our dog off and was called next day to pick him up as he doesn't meet their criteria, when we got there we asked why he doesn't meet their criteria and was told they are to busy, very unprofessional, place is putrid and staff obviously under qualified to look after multiple dogs! Please ask to see where your baby is sleeping before you let them go.
These guys are amazing and I can't recommend them enough! We have put our Maremma in a quite a few times over the years including whilst my wife was in hospital for the birth of my daughter. As I was driving my wife to the hospital, I stopped on the way and they were able to take our dog with no notice and out of the usual business hours. When we were forced to evacuate due to the bushfires, once again they took our dog with no notice and refused to charge us for the 4 days she was in for. Such a great bunch of people!
Very clean, with caring staff who obviously love dogs. I have a very anti-social aged little dog who gets very anxious at boarding kennels. However he obviously liked the staff, who had even provided him with a coat so he could play outside with all the other dogs his size and still keep warm. My dog was not anxious at all about being left there and seems to have enjoyed his stay.
I took my 7yo Ragdoll there today. I had not seen the cattery before so asked to see her "motel room". I walked in and saidyou must be joking. It was a small shed with top and bottom cages each measuring 3-4 foot square. No windows, no toys or climbing posts just a dirty looking bed and floor. I went back to the car crying - no way could I leave her there. I returned to the office and said - I want my cat back now. Our neighbours will be kind enough to look after her. Barbara Webster PS I had to put in a star otherwise I could not post.
My dogg is as happy When he leaves as he is to go there thank you for a safe place whare i can leave him When im going out of town and can not be there 😎🐕🐅 …
We have a high anxiety, very elderly pound dog. Mistreated in the past leaving him to others is hard. Well, here he was literally made at home! Loved, cossetted, and even his blankie washed, he was a tail wagger when picked up. Can strongly recommend, they looked after him as their own.
