We have been sending our two Golden Retrievers to Pet Charm Lodge for the past five years, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive to our dogs' needs, and it's clear they love what they do. Our dogs absolutely adore their time at Pet Charm Lodge, and it gives us peace of mind knowing they are well taken care of and having a great time. We highly recommend Pet Charm Lodge to anyone looking for a safe and loving environment for their pets.

Our two boys Buster and Patch had a wonderful time at Petcharm Lodge. They were both happy and relaxed when they came home. Highly recommend this lodge for your pets.

This was the First time taking our dog to boarding. We were a little worried at first because we had never left him with other people before but there was nothing really to worry about. When we picked him up he looked happy and healthy exceptionally groomed, showed affection to the handler and was super tired most likely from all the play time. Would definitely recommend this place and will be going back here again, was worth the drive from Sydney

This is the second time I have used pet charm lodge for my jack Russell cross fox terrier. As soon as my dog noticed we had pulled up at pet charm lodge he couldn't sit still he was trying to get in as fast as he could. I'm so happy with everything they do for him whilst in there care. I rang last minute to get my dog in and they said yes I booked him an hour later on this Easter break. Thank you pet charm lodge for such friendly service. And also making me feel like my dog is also having a good time whilst we are on holidays, knowing he is safe. I recommend pet charm lodge without doubt.

Friendly service, amazing set up. My dog loves coming down here and doesn’t seem to want to leave on pick up! The shuttle services offered to and from Sydney is a bonus if you don’t have the time to come down yourself.

Petcharm lodge is an amazing boarding facility. Our 3 dogs love Charmaine and Peter so much Chester never wants to come home. Highly recommend

Rang and booked my dog in , they informed me they would email me all information to me before arrival date. I heard nothing back , I emailed them , called them , sms them and received no communication from them . I had flights booked for an interstate family emergency and in the end had to have friends move into my home to help. Extremely unprofessional service and business and I would not let them take care of my pet.

Thankyou Charmaine, for looking after Junior, on our short holiday stay, when we picked him up he looked so restful and clean from his shampooing, many thanks its so nice to really meet someone who really loves pets.

Nathan has been fantastic. Very knowledgeable, thorough and approachable. He has been a life savour for our dog who had some behavioural issues, and we would recommend him to anyone needing help with their dog. P & C

Cannot recommend Nathan enough! We were skeptical thinking a couple of sessions could change our reactive german shepherd's behaviour but it absolutely did. I'm not sure what we would've done if we didn't see Nathan - our boy was erratic in public, too strong and pully to walk on the lead (including launching at cars!), and worst of all 'playing' aggressively with us. Nathan showed us the correct tools, skills and knowledge to build trust and respect with our boy. I could barely walk him down the driveway without my shoulder dislocating, but now I'm going on runs with him every day trotting by my side! It's been about 5 months since we last saw Nathan and our dog has not shown any more aggressive behaviour throughout this time. And we only had 3 sessions!! Of course a dog always requires consistent training and he's still not perfect but he is the complete opposite of the kind of dog he used to be. Thank you Nathan!!

Nathan is an absolute gem! Our dog had a serious case of aggression, and we had already spent a fortune on various training methods, medication and dog behaviour specialists, all in vain. Finally we came across Nathan, He not only had a wealth of information to share but also went the extra mile to give us even more helpful tips to take home. Nathan's approach was refreshingly simple and made perfect sense. We were a bit skeptical at first, considering all the money we had previously spent, we were pleasantly surprised! Nathan was the perfect fit for us, and he armed us with all the tools and skills we needed to handle our boy. Now, our dog can stroll by other dogs without more than a quick glance. Of course, there's still some work to be done, but the best part is that Nathan's instructions seamlessly fit into our everyday life. Consistency is the secret ingredient here! So, if you're looking for a fantastic dog trainer who brings results and a friendly attitude, look no further than Nathan. Trust me, he's the real deal!

Nathan is seriously the most knowledgeable, professional and successful dog trainer we’ve ever had! Our 6 year old Bull Arab Dane is 38kg of love however it has been very difficult walking her since she was a puppy. We’ve been through it all with other trainers, the cost, the time, the effort, the fail. We’ve bought what they’ve told us to buy. We drew the line at medicating our girl. Then we heard about Nathan. Not only did he reassure us that she does not need medication, but within a couple of hours, we were able to walk her with better control and minimal effort. Nathan went out of his way to ensure both Chanel, mum and dad were comfortable. He even came by my workplace in Menai to help me further with a collar fitting free of charge. Thank you so much for your time, effort and passion to help us walk our Chanel. You are incredible!! Would highly recommend, do not waste your time and effort elsewhere. See Nathan asap, it’s never too late!

We feel so much more confident after Nathan’s visit this morning. Our rescue dog has been constantly testing both us and our poor elderly cat. My husband was ready to give up. Nathan has given us both a great lesson in dog psychology and the knowledge and tools required to help us to train our dog effectively. The dog responded to him on our first walk and was no longer pulling on the lead. He truly is the dog whisperer!!! Thanks again Nathan!!! Kelli and Robert Stephens.

We cannot recommend Nathan at Dog Gone Mad enough. Our dog was horrible to walk, we couldn't take him around other dogs or busy areas its was really quiet sad he would bark and pull. He didn't know basic commands we needed some serious help. Nathan had our dog for 4 weeks and he came back with the BEST manners and we can now take him everywhere. Nathan dropped him back and stayed with us for 3 hours teaching us everything we needed to know to keep our dogs training up. We are so thankful for Dog Gone Mad !

I was too proud to call for help with my British Bulldog pup that seemed to be un controllable, but after some persuasive conversations from my wife, we called Nathan, and i couldn't believe my eyes. Nathan figured out what his issue was and how to work around it. We now have a fantastic pup and having some great happy times with him thanks to Nathans majic and dog whispering. 🐕

Nathan is the best. I have a dobermann who was an absolute lunatic and under Nathan's guidance he is now a gentleman. I love that way he loves the animals he works with, that is so important to me. I highly recommend him

We can’t thank Nathan enough for his knowledge, honesty and practical advice. We had been struggling with walking our 2 year Australian Cattle Dog x Staffy, Honey since we got her at 6 months old. We had been to previous trainers and saw minimal improvements over a long period of time. She was extremely over stimulated on walks and would react to cars, bikes, dogs, birds and people and would relentlessly bark and lunge. After just one visit with Nathan, she is a different dog! We have since been able to walk Honey with complete control making it such a more enjoyable experience! She no longer reacts and she is so much calmer. I would recommend Nathan to anyone who is struggling with training their reactive dog!

If I could give a lower rating I could! Natalie and Brendan were highly unprofessional and dishonest with us, effectively selfishly ruining a lot of our plans during our wedding weekend. We booked our two furbabies to stay with them over the weekend of our wedding, 8 weeks in advance. In this initial communication, we discussed our wedding date, and warned re the fact it fell on Easter long weekend (which they were well aware of), as well as lots of details about our pups. A few weeks after, communications just dropped out and they neither responded to emails nor phone calls. Later, they cited 'server upgrades' but assured us we were booked in. We asked if any deposit etc needed paying but they reassured us that things would be 'sorted' closer to the day. One week away from our wedding, amid lots of wedding planning stress, we still hadn't heard from them so we emailed to confirm (they didn't pick up their phone). They replied confirming pickup time on the Friday, a day before our Saturday wedding. 2 days later we get another email saying they'd "assumed" we had booked elsewhere because we hadn't replied to an generic email they had sent to their entire phone book asking for vaccination certificates. This email we received was sent to everyone and had no mention of it impacting our booking. Follow-up emails from them continued along this tact saying these forms were essential etc. If they were essential why weren't they sent weeks/months ago when we booked, and not three days before our wedding, the date of which they were well aware of!! They had booked two other dogs in the spots we had asked for 8 weeks prior without discussing with us AT ALL. So, two days before the wedding we have no one to look after our dogs. The groom himself is now staying home longer before the ceremony to ensure they're okay, but they will still be sleeping home alone. Not only this, their follow-up communication after this was atrocious and accusatory. Natalie forged a fake email with an arbitrary deadline in our email message history (we definitely DID NOT receive this email) - I imagine to try and cover up their inconsideration and double-booking stuff-up. Even if this email was sent, which it wasn't, we should have received a phone call, email, text, ANYTHING before they 'assumed' and booked other dogs in our spots. So thank you, Natalie and Brendan, for your poor service and terrible work ethic. Despite some positive reviews, I would now never trust them to look after my dogs after this experience.

Can't rate Paw People high enough! I have two recsue pooches that need that extra little bit of love, understanding and patience and the crew here give all three in spades. They are always accommodating (often at super short notice) and my pups just love going there. I also love the regular updates without having to ask for them.

Bear loves, loves, loves GRR and his best friends - Leo and Layla. Your Goldie won't want to come home. We sleep on the beds, snooze on the verandah lounges, swim and run along the beach and get yummy snacks. We also get to watch the daily feeding of the cows, goats, sheep and alpaca. If you dribble enough, you might just snatch a few of their crumbs. Best place ever! Hope to see you there soon. Love and licks 🐻

Brielle loves staying with Vanessa, Leo and Layla at Golden Retriever Retreat. It’s so nice to know that she’s having her own holiday while we’re away, exploring the farm and the bush, swimming at the beach and having a ball rolling in things we’re glad we don’t have to wash off her! Most importantly, we know Brielle is being loved, pampered and adored, living inside as one of the family. Can’t recommend Golden Retriever Retreat enough!

This place is every golden retrievers heaven. I’ve never met people that are so passionate about the care and happiness of your dog. The dogs are so loved and cared for and have the best time roaming around exploring and hanging with their friends. I had to coax my dog to leave! Definitely rebooking!

16 month old Fletcher had the best 3 nights! He made new friends, had lovely new experiences like meeting goats and an alpaca, and was so well cared for by Vanessa and her lovely family. Can't wait for there to be a window where he can stay again. Goldie bliss.

If I could give GRR more than 5 stars I would! Our Humphrey had the best 3 weeks under the care of Vanessa and her family, we had absolute peace of mind that Humphrey could not have stayed anywhere with a higher level of love, fun, and responsibility. The property is perfect and clearly they love goldies so much. We can't wait for another opportunity for Humphrey to stay again.

Our golden had a fantastic stay at GRR for 2+ weeks and she loved it. That was like a real holidays for her with lots of attention and activities in a company of other goldens including visits to the beach! Vanessa treats all goldens as her own and share lots of photos of them having fun together. We will bring our doggy here next time. Highly recommend 👏🏻

I wish I could do more stars!!! The GRR is my Golden’s happy place (and she has it pretty good at home already!). As owners of Goldie’s themselves, the GRR are devoted to the care and happiness of the Goldie’s staying with them. The freedom they have on the land, running with the pack and being spoilt indoors and out makes this place an actual luxury retreat for our pupper. She LOVES being here and we love giving her that gift of being so well looked after and loved in such a beautiful country environment. We are so thankful such a glorious place exists and it has truely been a second home since our Goldie was 4 months old. ‘Recommended’ is not a strong enough description for this review!! 👍❤️🙏

Short version: Heaven on Earth! Longer version: Our goldie, Bowie, had the most amazing time at Vanessa's Retreat this Christmas. It's all you could dream of for your dog and more. First, the property is stunning and one that could easily be the most popular AirBnB in the area - think extensive grounds, charming house, private lake and more. Second, the dogs are treated like family and have the most amazing time with one another (we know how goldies love playing with each other) but also with Vanessa and her family who take them for regular walks by the ocean and provide them with constant activities and enrichment. Third, Vanessa was the most amazing for the whole month we were away with daily whatsapp pictures and videos of Bowie - we ended up having more photos of Bowie from that month than from the whole previous year! Finally, when we got Covid in Europe and had to delay our return to Sydney for another month, Vanessa was amazing in taking care of Bowie and ensured we did not have to worry about him. Only downside - your dog will definitely like the Retreat more than your own home ;-)

Our dog Johnny is just back from the best 3.5 weeks of his doggy life. Such a great experience for him, and we got photos and videos daily which made it such an easy experience to be away from our pup for a long time. Would 110% recommend and we look forward to seeing the whole gang again soon!!

It is so nice to know that our puppy is having a great time whilst we are away on holidays. Belle has been so well cared for and loves going to the Golden Retriever Retreat.

Our two mini foxies had a lovely stay for the weekend in the ‘lodge’. Great service and Georgie took the time to find out more about them and what they might like. They were both happy when we picked them up and seemed to like each other a bit more too! Highly recommended.

My cat has been well looked after for two stays of two weeks or more. He has had ample room and was well fed for stay. Georgi is a pleasure to deal with. Good value for money.

I’ve used Furbabies a couple of times now for boarding for my 14 yr old fox terrier cross. Izzy is usually very attached to me- but goes off very happily to Furbabies- and comes home in very good health and seems to hardly notice my absence. I have no hesitation in recommending Georgi and her team. I’ve made future bookings and I’m very relaxed and confident that izzy is being well cared for and having a holiday !!

My spoodle escaped from these premises last Monday when she went for the first time to doggy play group. I dropped her off at 8 am and a kind stranger, who had stopped at the service station, called me at 2.20 pm to say she had been picked up running down the road. Thank goodness my number was on her collar!

Our cavoodle is a regular and is always so excited when she arrives to socialise with all the other small dogs. Great service and Georgi is fantastic and knowledgeable!

Have boarded my Mini Dachshund here 3 times now and will continue to do so. She has always been well looked after.

My small dog Ella has spent a number of nights with Georgie and is very happy when she's there. I know Ella is well looked after.

Our 2 frenchies have always had anxiety when left at kennels, this time the boys were happy and healthy and even git a good review of their behaviour! All of the staff made us feel reassured that our boys were in safe hands. Thank you all so much, we will always be happy to drive 3 hours to The Pet Ranch so we can enjoy our holiday without stress.

My 7mth old puppy holidayed at The Pet Ranch for 2 weeks, when I picked him up he was happy, healthy and had been well looked after. He is an energetic handful to say the least so I was very impressed with all the staff for the care provided.

We checked our beloved dog Frankie into the Pet Ranch for over 3 weeks while we were away overseas. We were incredibly anxious leaving her for so long but from the moment we dropped her off, Belinda, Ian, Vicki, Cody and Maddy made us feel at ease. They made sure to send us video/photo updates and even went above and beyond throwing Frankie a little birthday party! They are real 'dog people' and understand that dogs are family members and not just pets. Frankie had a great time and made some new friends while she was there, running around constantly. We wont hesitate to use the Pet Ranch again and will highly recommend to everyone! Thanks again team.

I highly recommend The Pet Ranch. Lovely people, Vicky, Ian and the team all provided me with excellent customer service from my initial enquiry until picking up my dog. My young dalmation absolutely loves visiting and has had a couple of short stays now. The second time I dropped him off he was so excited once he realized where he was. I can’t thank Ian, Kerry, Vicky and the team at this wonderful facility for taking such good care of my two boys while we were away on holidays at very short notice. By far the most amazing caring animal lovers I’ve ever met! They were honest, down to earth and you can totally see that caring for animals is their true passion, my mums cat spent two wonderful weeks at the pet ranch and I can’t thank them enough for all the love and care they showed little Sally, fantastic customer service and just the best people in the industry!

Tip is 15 years old and is quite fussy, however she loves staying with Debbie and the team at The Pet Ranch. She is stress free when she comes home and I wouldn't be surprised if she would rather stay there than come home to her normal life. Can't recommend The Pet Ranch highly enough.

We’ve been using Ashby Lodge for short and long stays for nearly two years. Al and Elle are both such caring dog owners and carers and our boy loves going to Ashby. He’s always so excited to see Al and Elle and that tells us he is well cared for when he is there. We’ve just collected him after a long stay and he is well and happy and in great condition. We have no hesitation in recommending Ashby Lodge.

Our dog has been staying at Ashby Lodge for both short and long stays for more than 2 years now. Elle is clearly a dog lover and has a very caring nature. Our dog never once has fretted about being left with Elle, in fact he is always wagging his tail and seems quite happy to be staying there. We cannot more highly recommend Ashby Lodge as a wonderful place to look after your beloved pet.

I have been taking Gemma to Ashby Lodge for around 6 years. Gemma is always happy to see Elle & runs down to the kennel I have been to the kennels at various times during the day & they are immaculate. I have & will continue to recommend Ashby Lodge to my friends and family. Keep up the good work Elle

Elle is unreliable, cruel and treated our dog so poorly. She did not reply to our messages for almost a week and once she did, Elle was rude. When we collected our dog, she was underweight and looked as though she had not eaten. My dog and her bed and blanket were soaked in wee. Our dog was also incredibly lethargic and very unlike herself. I am worried about how my dog was treated whilst with Elle. When I tried to address this with Elle, she blocked me. I would never send my dog here again.

Monte has just returned from another stay at Ashby Lodge with Elle and Al. We have always been extremely happy with the care , accommodation but more importantly the interest they have in our dog, Monte, and our dog Barney before that. We are return customers over many years and highly recommend Ashby Lodge Kennels , thank you Elle and Al for looking after Monte so well.

The kennel was very well maintained & very clean. The owners who run the kennel were very knowlageable & friendly. Upon inspection of the kennels one could see that the animals were well looked after & happy. Will be using them again. Very pleased

Elle was very accommodating friendly and an obvious dog lover like us.We were a bit late picking up our dog and it wasn't a problem. Prices were reasonable. The kennels were probably the best we have seen. The place was spotless, there was grass and the kennel was very comfortable for him We will be back. Thanks Elle, great job

I’ve been taking my dog Asha to Ashby Dog Kennels for quite a few years. Sometimes just an overnight stay and sometimes for a week. I’ve always been very happy with their service. They obviously love dogs and know how to take care of them. Their facilities are always clean and well maintained. I am very happy to have Asha stay with them and know that she will be looked after.

Louie loves seeing his friends at Pawfect Pets when he is at Daycare. Blaire is just so good with my naughty, miniture dashhund! He loves going there and I know that he gets stimulated and spoilt. Blaire loves dogs and I couldnt think of anyone better to look after him!

We can’t recommend Blaire from Pawfect Pets Shoalhaven highly enough! We don’t trust anyone with our fur babies but Blaire is exceptional. She is kind, caring and very knowledgeable! We have used her services for Doggy Daycare and Wedding Assistance. Our dogs always have the best day at Daycare, they come home happy and exhausted and we love the updates during the day! For our wedding, Blaire ensured our dog was groomed and ready, she looked after her and assisted with photos! Blaire is the best!

Roxi always has a fabulous time at Pawfect Pets and I have absolute confidence she will be well looked after attentively, she has been going since puppyhood and I know that has contributed in her becoming a happy, confident and sociable dog.

Blaire was wonderful looking after our shih tzu pups at my daughter’s wedding at Merribee. They were so happy and relaxed with her and I knew they were in good hands. Was so nice to receive photos when she had taken them back to our air bnb and fed and settled them for the night. Highly recommend Blaire for wedding service and so happy we found her :)
