I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Misti
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.

What a lovely couple Tara and Tyler are. They had been in Scottsdale about six weeks before the house sit. and can to meet us. Rusé, our Toy Fox Terrier, fell in love with them immediately, and was in Tara’s arms within two minutes. We always like our sitters to arrive the day before we leave, take them out to dinner and get to know them. It was quite apparent from the videos and photos we received, that Rusé did not miss us. Tara and Tyler’s three grown up children joined them before Xmas-to Rusé’s delight as these were additional hands to throw his rubber bones and balls. The house was all clean and tidy, when we returned.. There is a strong possibility that Tara and Tyler will move to Arizona from Montana, with two of their children, recently moved to the area. They have already offered to look after Rusé in the future. We know he would love it. We cannot recommend Tyler and Tara higher enough, they were perfect House and Pet sitters

Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

I couldnt recommend Heidi’s Houndstay more highly. My German Shepherd was always excited to stay there and absolutely loved Heidi and all her staff. For your dog to have the best time + for you to be stress free, we strongly recommend Heidi's Houndstay!!! We left our pup, Porto, at Heidi's for a day and she looked after him like her own! The other dogs at her place were also so gentle and playful! The best bit was that she sent us photos & videos of Porto all day, which not only gave us peace of mind, but also so much joy to see our little furball having such a fun time! And her property and the doggy studio are just incredible! We cannot recommend Heidi enough! My two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are sociable dogs but also quite placid. As they had never been away from home before I was a bit concerned leaving them for 3 nights. Heidi ensured that they were accommodated with dogs of a similar temperament, and they had the best time! The video updates from Heidi were so reassuring. I could see how relaxed the dogs were and how much fun they were having on their walks exploring the property. I would happily send them to Heidi's Houndstay in the future.
Heidi is incredible, she absolutely pampers our baby. So much respect and care was shown to our puppy and to all of the dogs that I saw when I was in the vicinity. We will be booking in with the Heidi again. We had some pretty specific requirements for our stay and they backed us the entire time and helped to sort any issues out immediately. Our Mini labradoodle had the best 3 night stay at Heidi’s Houndstay’s. Heidi made Locky feel at home immediately introducing him to several puppies who joined him in play. He had a blast and was exhausted from all the socializing during his stay. The property allows for a lot of off leash exploration on this gorgeous farm. A studio has been set up for the dogs over night stays and works perfectly as they feel right at home. Heidi shared photo’s of our dogs fun times while he was there, keeping us in the loop. It’s great to have a wonderful place for our dog to have a vacation while we’re away. Thanks so much.
I cannot recommend Heidi and Heidi’s Houndstay enough!! We left our 1.5 yo German Shepherd (Quincy) with Heidi for a few days while we were in Byron, it was the first time he’d ever stayed with someone he didn’t know and it was incredible! Heidi’s property is gorgeous with lots of different large areas (so the younger dogs can play while older ones relax or sleep!). Heidi also just knows dogs and has the utmost love and respect for them. She’s so knowledgeable and relaxed, which made both myself, my partner and Quincy feel comfortable having him there. She sent us plenty of photos and videos while he was there which was awesome! This is not at all a ‘kennel’ or a ‘dog motel’ - it’s honestly a holiday for your dog! Quincy had the best time, made some great new friends and will 100% be back!
We sent our 5 months old chocolate lab Moose to Heidi for half a day as we were going on a snorkelling trip. Heidi was friendly, professional and easy going. I could tell moose had an amazing time with Heidi and other puppies. He discovered his love for water while he was with Heidi and we’re so thrilled since we’ve been trying for months to get him to love water. We loved the fact she had a massive property where the dogs can run free, and enjoy the nature. She Took such good care of our Moose. We would definitely be returning back when we’re back in the Byron bay area. Just wish we found her earlier! I would highly recommend Heidi
Heidi is very calm, efficient and obviously mad about dogs. She has such rapport with them! She sends us regular videos and photos of our dog so we can see how happy he is, playing with other dogs. We’d absolutely recommend Heidi’s Houndstay - and so would Postie, if he could talk or type.
Totally recommend Heidi’s Houndstay Heidi has a real genuine love for animals which was shown when we first meet with her. I recently needed a dog sitter at short notice for my beautiful Sammi girl. Heidi was fantastic with a quick response Sammi’s stay was made easy for both of us, as Heidi regularly sent text and photos of sammie’s stay, being loved and spoilt Sammi absolutely loved the farm like surrounding at Heidi’s Houndstay. We just LOVE Carey. Buster has been in paradise 2 days a week and the odd night for over a year and he is always sooooo excited to play w all the other dogs that Carey has all under control very well! Hello! Peggy the Westie here! I have just returned home from another awesome little stay with Carey and friends. As soon as I got a "whiff" of my holiday destination I started to whinge and carry on in the car. Then I nearly dislocated my mum's arm in my eagerness to join my hosts. As soon as my leash was removed I took off to play and even forgot to say bye bye to mum and dad ...oops! (Although I have made amends with an extra big loop -the-loop hello upon their return.) Mum says that all my compliments about Carey's may mislead people to think that I live in a small cardboard box and do nothing. In truth, I have a wonderful life and home full of love and adventure. I say that just goes to show how good it is at Carey's.....if it can excite a spoiled kid like me it must be paradise!!
Carey is just wonderful, can't recommend her enough. Fantastic with dogs, huge and safe fenced yard - right across from the beach. My dog loves her two dogs as well.

Our 2 miniature poodles, both with differing personalities have been going regularly for about a month now. Once a week. They both enjoy Jane's way and come home calm happy and settled. We really like her service.
Jane has minded our dog on a few occasions . He thoroughly enjoyed his time there and made lots of friends. Always looked content in the pictures she sent every night.

We are so happy to have found Judy at Happy Tails Byron Bay. We have 2 chihuahuas who can be very particular and fussy, one of them fear aggressive and the other a little on the nippy -feisty side and Judy handled them with ease and warmth. We loved getting the fun video updates when we were overseas- she clearly has a lovely way with dogs and we were very relaxed being away, knowing the dogs were so well looked after . I can't recommend Judy highly enough.

We have been using happy tails for a while now for our dog Kenny each time we go away. I used to get so much anxiety finding Kenny a reliable sitter until we found Judy. Kenny loves going to stay with Judy and runs into her place excited to play with his doggie pals. She sends regular updates and also clips his nails which we really appreciate as struggle to do ourselves. He comes home exhausted from a fun filled time and I’m sure he doesn’t miss us at all 😂
We wouldn’t just leave our guy, Reuben with just anyone but at Happy Tails, he’s treated like part of the family! He loves the interaction with the other pups and he totally loves his cuddles with Judy and Dave. We never have to worry about anything, although sometimes we wonder if he wants to come home again! Having big cousin Vinny to hang out with is a definite bonus, too. Best doggy day care ever!

Judy was an angel heaven sent at very short notice after we were told our pup wasn’t welcome at our accommodation. Our Bear was still just a puppy but in Judy’s hands he was well behaved and loved being part of Judy’s “pack”. 100% recommend to all! Thank you Judy.

When my partner and I started planning for a week overseas, we turned to Happy Tails to care for our girl, Poppy. She’d been to Doggie Day Care at their place a few times, and we loved the attention they gave each dog, the full access they allowed them to their dog-friendly property, and of course the impressive the pack walks. During her stay, we got daily updates, pics and videos, on Poppy’s mood, activities and play with the other pups—putting our minds at ease. We’re confident she enjoyed her time with Dave and Judy, and are sure she’ll look forward to staying with them again.
I was so so happy with Judy minding my beloved greyhound, Perriwinkle. Its a gorgeous location and so peaceful, being set in rain forest only 8 minutes from Byron with dogs lying around on the deck on daybeds. Very sweet. Perriwinkle settled in beautifully and Judy kindly sent me texts with photos of my dog who had settled in beautifully the first and second days. I wouldf highly recommend Happy Tails of Byron and so prefer to the idea of an impersonal kennel somewhere as my dog was obviously loved and pampered as she was very relaxed when i collected her. Naomi provides an excellent service that ensures we are able to go away for work or holidays without a worry. She is an excellent and reliable pet sitter. On a number of occasions she has looked after our pets with short notice and has done a fantastic job. Our boys are not the easiest to work with, they are often stubborn and disobedient but Naomi treats them with love and care. She will often send updates and pictures and is very easy to work with when unexpected challenges arise. Naomi goes above and beyond and is very trustworthy while we are away. Our little pomeranian stayed with Naomi and her Mum at "Just Like Home Petsitters" in Bilambil for 7 weeks while we travelled through Europe and Egypt. He was extremely well looked after. Naomi treats all animals like her own and did such a wonderful job. We were always kept informed on how our little man was going through both messages and photos. Naomi is amazing with your fur babies she has a beautiful Kind nature and is the only person I trust with our fur baby she gives the extra warmth cuddles and care that only an owner would normally give we also her given photo and text updates so we don’t worry when we are away we know our coco is in the best of hands can’t recommend highly enough x

Can not thank Miff and Jodie enough for taking care of our Labradoodle Zeke whilst we were up in Byron. The love and care they provide is like no other! Our boy had the best time and was so well looked after. The photos and check ins we received gave us complete peace of mind whilst away. The Grateful Dog isn’t like your typical dog stay, no cages just freedom, fun, cuddles, play and love. Plus he has come back with so many extra social skills which has been a complete added bonus. They simply are the best and we definitely highly recommend.
