We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own. Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see. Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.

I enjoyed meeting Samara. Sosha arrived after I left so we only communicated in writing. Samara is a sweet, considerate pet sitter. She brought her cat, who posed no difficulties to my pets. Samara was in good communication with me during her stay. She used my car without incident. My home was left much cleaner than upon her arrival. Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. Angela and Joe are wonderful house and pet sitters sitters in every way. They have a great loving way with animals and my shy dog warmed up to them right away. They are warm, organized, confident, and thorough. They communicated very well and gave me frequent updates and sweet photos of my dog Chica. They also took excellent care of my home. My only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time with them, because they're such lovely and interesting people. I give Angela and Joe my highest recommendation and feel that anyone would be very lucky to have them their sitters! I hope that they return to sit here again.

Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

Isabel is great with my German shepherd brushing out his long hair. He doesn’t like many people grooming him and she does a good job keeping him calm. We have also used her to cut our cats nails and she does it very professionally and quick all of our for babies love her.
They are the best! Leaving my dogs used to be such a stressful time for me, but she has truly alleviated my anxiety about being gone from my pups. Our dogs absolutely love her and I can always count on her. She is also extremely flexible with my family and our needs. I would recommend her 1000%! We just LOVE Paws 'n' Rec; but more importantly, our beautiful Havanese Tanner LOVES it too. In the past when we would board our wonderful dogs, they would take days-upon-days to "recover". Clingy, moody, just not "normal"! That is not the case with Paws 'n' Rec! He loves visiting, loves playing, is a photo-hog and comes home perfectly normal. We can't say enough about how great they folks are and the care they give to our wonderful Tanner. Nothing but a FIVE-Star recommendation!
I will be dropping my 2 dogs off tomorrow for 6 days of boarding (for the 1st time) and for once I don’t feel crippled by anxiety about leaving them. The staff made me feel so comfortable during their consultation and have been very accommodating and communicative with the experience the pups will be having. Alena and her crew are the absolute best! Alena of course is wonderful, but she also hires some of the best help and our pups absolutely love them all. When we return home from a trip, we can tell our pups are not anxious or stressed but just happy to see us. If the pups have had a rough experience when we are gone, they tell us with a stressful type of reaction. We never see that! Alena is reliable, dependable, and most importantly loves dogs as much as the owners do. That becomes apparent immediately and is so important. Highly recommend!
I was notified by a friend to check out the reviews on Google for Marina District Pet Care because my name was used. After reading the review and response, I am upset. The Emily person that left the review was not me. Though, I did use this company briefly. My experience was great at first then went downhill fast. I found Marina District Pet Care are untruthful and not trusting, especially after looking at Google. I do not recommend but instead recommend looking into other dog walking/sitting companies. Hopefully the owner has made changes to improve.

Alena is literally the most incompetent sitter I’ve ever met. She left our dogs alone for over 14 hours. Gets there at 9:14am. Left by 9:50am. It’s now 11:50pm. Claims she “lost her phone”. Okay….so that means you leave our living, breathing animals alone without food or water all day?! We had to contact someone else to watch them while we were out of town visiting my father for his birthday. DO NOT HIRE THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING. You will absolutely regret it.

Kiki is fantastic. She genuinely cares about the pets she walks and is attentive to their needs—she actually spotted an alarming swollen lymph node on my puppy’s throat and she sent me photos while I was at work (thankfully, while the swelling developed quickly, it was an infection and easily treatable). Kiki also sends photos and videos of their walks, she is extremely responsive, and also flexible with scheduling. We are thankful to have found Kiki!
Kiki is just the best!! Heaven sent! We have a German shepherd and a husky. Our shepherd has pretty bad separation anxiety so I was always so worried dropping her off at pet sitters, but when we found Kiki everything changed. Alaska still has anxiety but is MUCH more comfortable, Kiki knows just how to care for her and make us more comfortable as well haha! Kiki texts us tons of pictures & videos of our pups throughout the day so we know how they're doing and gives us such an ease of mind knowing they're in the best hands. It's not easy for us to trust anyone with our fur babies but we full heartedly trust and love Kiki! As do our pups :)
Our retriever Lolita had a great time with Kiki. Our dog was at Kiki's place for more than a week and she sent us pictures and videos everyday. I could tell our dog was extremely happy staying with her. We’ll definitely leave her with Kiki again knowing that she is safe and happy!!!
Kiki responded right away when I needed her and it saved my vacation !! She kept me updated about my dog throughout his entire stay with her. Each picture and video she sent, he looked completely comfortable and happy. I never had to wonder if he was safe or how he was doing because she kept me well-informed the whole time. I was nervous because it was my first time leaving my dog with someone who wasn’t a family member. Kiki made not only me feel safe leaving my fur baby with her, but you could tell he was having a blast in all the videos. He didn’t even act weird when he got home! Turns out he got a little vacation too! 10/10 recommend.
Kiki’s Pet Services is the absolute best! My goldendoodle, Benji, loves vacationing with Kiki. When I drop him off he runs inside and does not look back. He receives tons of care and attention while I’m away and I receive numerous pictures, videos, and updates. He’s always so happy and is constantly playing with his new friends. There really is no one better to watch your babe than Kiki.
This was my first time using Kiki’s Pet Services and I am beyond happy with our experience. I typically get worried when leaving my puppy for the weekend, but Kiki made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. We had a meet and greet which helped acclimate my puppy to her environment and it was nice for us to meet face to face, too. I felt comfortable going out of town without my dog for the first time ever. She sends pictures, updates, and truly cares deeply about all animals. I am so thankful for her services.
Kiki is the best! She watched our two dogs while we were out of town for our wedding and everything went so well. We've always had family watch our furbaby, but after reading Kiki's reviews and hearing mutual friends rave about her, we decided to try her services out while we took a vacation. Our expectations were exceeded by a long shot! Not only is she amazing with communication, she will send numerous updates to let you know how your dog is doing which is a must for us. Our doodle is a lover, but he is VERY afraid of storms. Kiki gave him attention and extra love to make sure he felt safe. This isn't just a "job" for her, she truly loves all dogs and will treat them like her own. You can see her passion shine within when you meet her. We will never leave our dog with anyone else, our heart and mind is content knowing our furbabe is the in the best hands.

My dog can't wait to get to day care each day. We have been going to And A Leash for three years and I have never had a single issue with the owners, staff or other dogs. They are very accommodating and make it easy to check your dog in and out. They have the dogs divided by size and have a good screening process for new dogs to make sure they are a good fit for the group. I gave them a five star only because there isn't a 6th star option.
My dog and I love And a Leash! He has been going to "school" here ever since he was a puppy. He loves all of his teachers and it is so cute to see how excited he gets to see them. Christina also does a fantastic job grooming him and I've always been happy with his baths as well!
This place is great! The staff is so kind, I love that they know my dog and I by name. Caiti always greets us and checks us in right away and really goes the extra mile every time we come in! Always setting up activities and holiday photo shoots. You can tell how much they care for the dogs. Between the grooming, daycare, pet sitting and walking, and “taxi” option.. they offer exceptional services. Definitely the best place in tampa and highly recommend!

Super friendly staff. Luci always runs to their front door to get in when I drop her off for daycare. She is normally ready for a nap when picking her up after a full day of work. The groomer also had experience grooming Lagotto Romangolos! First time, Luci had her ears and tail cut correctly.

My dog goes to camp in st Pete and Tampa! He definitely favors this camp due to smaller groups. Hes been going for several months and also had grooming. They sometimes upload photos at the end of the day which is nice to see and your pup gets a report card. I love the flexibility of drop off and pick up. It’s such a huge convenience to not be locked into certain pick up and drop off times! I highly recommend.
Thyme stayed with Paws Paradise for 5 days, they were very hands on with her special requests, sent photos and returned calls immediately. The suites are spacious and well equipped and clean, will definitely use again.
***RAVE!*** SEPARATION ANXIETY REVIEW - 1st Time Customer: My pup was stressed the first night I dropped her off but the overnight staff stayed with her to calm her nerves so she could sleep with some companionship. They slowly integrated her into group settings and she was able to enjoy the outdoor space. I received several photos each day and that eased my nerves tremendously! The staff was incredibly responsive to our WhatsApp message thread and I even received a phone call to discuss my pup’s first update. I know my dog’s mannerisms very well since we are inseparable and together 24/7. I posted several photos on this review but I can easily identify the sole picture from night 1 with her heightened anxiety look and pinned back ears. The subsequent photos are in sharp contrast and she’s visibly enjoying her new friends. We will absolutely be back for my remaining business trips! I highly recommend the facility and staff which are top tier! Background of Anxiety and Previous Boarding Facilities for Reference: My basenji pup had severe separation anxiety since day 1 of her adoption and it has not subsided when we are separated. My job recently required travel again and my 1st 2 business trips were an absolute nightmare dealing with the aftermath of previous boarding experiences. After the first trip, my pup left a different boarding facility with a bout of diarrhea requiring me to take her out every 2-3 hours for 2 entire days. The second trip ended with a very expensive late night emergency vet appointment due to anxiety induced colitis. She was so stressed that she lost 2.5 pounds in a few short hours and I rushed her to a 24 hour emergency clinic. (VEG Tampa was fabulous!) It was heartbreaking to see the toll my travel was causing my pup and I was beginning to consider a resignation if I couldn’t find a good fit. In addition to her severe anxiety, she’s a master escape artist that would rival Houdini. She’s escaped kennels, collars, harnesses, fences, chewed through her leash several times in seconds and has high prey drive. She tends to immediately run to the busiest street with the fastest cars to chase. As a result, I’m extraordinarily overprotective and terrified that unqualified facilities would not be able to board her safely. The staff at Paws Paradise Fur Life exceeded my expectations and threw me a lifeline. I’m very impressed by their business model as they are geared towards pet owners who are passionate about their fur babies happiness and well-being rather than stacking up small kennels and cramming as many dogs as possible into tight spaces. Paws is THE BEST. Not only do I trust them, my frenchie loves attending daycare! It’s his favorite day of the week. Everyone makes us feel at home and they show him so much love. Carly from Paws Paradise took great care of my two cats while we were away! It is such a great comfort to have a pet sitter that you can rely on to watch your pets when you travel. This was my first time dropping off my dog here Where are you? and it was last minute during Thanksgiving and they were more than accommodating. My dog was so happy here they sent pictures of my dog running, and he looked like he was having so much fun. It was such a relief to know that he was in good hands. They were super sweet and friendly and I would 100% recommend this place for your pet pet
As a first time user of any kennel service, I was very nervous about leaving my dog overnight without his family. Little did I know Paws Paradise Fur Life IS like a second family! I received photos of my pup looking extremely happy while staying here during his visit, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. At pick up, my dog looked like part of the pack which I was happy to see! I will be using this service again and would recommend Paws Paradise Fur Life to anyone looking for a great place to board/daycare their pup.
I recently started taking my dog here for daycare and it has been an amazing experience! Every-time we pull into the parking lot, Tito gets excited because he knows he’s going to get a day with so many friends. He’s only 2 so has a lot of energy and they do what they can to help him burn it off. I know he can be a rowdy puppy but they always welcome him with a smile and so much love. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and their staff!!
I have been taking my large 1 year-old dog and 13 year-old diabetic dog to Paws Paradise Fur Life for the past year and cannot give them enough stars. The owner, Cindy, and her team of professionals are committed to providing fun and safe care for daycare and boarding. We attend weekly daycare and board frequently. They group the dogs by behaviors so someone is always available for playtime. I have yet to find anything close to providing the care for my fur babies or as responsive as Paws Paradise Fur Life. My diabetic dog requires insulin shots, meds, and eye drops daily and they never miss a beat. They also have pup treats and grooming, which we enjoy. Don't miss out on peace of mind and come bring your dogs to play with Louis Vuitton and Tashi.
Wow… I don’t have enough amazing things to say about Paws Paradise! This is my dog’s first time at doggy daycare, and of course I was nervous, but I am already at ease thanks to the amazing staff here. I’ve been getting updates about how she’s doing, and I know she’s in the best hands. I’m so glad I found this place! 😍 If you’re looking for a place to take your dog to for boarding or doggy daycare, I definitely recommend Paws Paradise!

I absolutely love taking my fur baby to Paws n’ Rec on Grace! The staff is always so welcoming & kind! Have always answered any questions I have had about boarding or how Winston’s day went. Not to mention that my pup is always so excited to go hangout with his friends. Paws n’ rec always takes the best photos too!!
My boy Jasper absolutely loves all of the staff, management, and owners of Paws-n-Rec. They take such good care of him, and he whines when he cannot go and sing his heart out with his friends at their fabulous facility. They are professional, courteous, and most of all, they genuinely love all the doggos that come there. It is such a joy and pleasure to bring my dog to a place that truly cares for him. Such a great experience for my girl Hazel! She had her first evaluation and everyone was SO sweet and patient with her. I appreciate that they called mid-day to let me know how she was adjusting. Really shows they care about the doggos! Hazel was so happy and tired when I picked her up. looking forward to more daycare fun!!
Paws n Rec was THE best choice for my pup. I want to start by saying that my dog has fairly high anxiety when it comes to humans... non-aggressive reactivity, but quite TIMID. This was really bad two months ago.. but now, thanks to the staff at Paws n Rec, I can see a massive difference in walks every day! My pup is less nervous of people and is becoming more confident in many other ways too! Thank you all SO SO much! Penny is now genuinely excited to see y’all in the morning and happy to come home for a good sleep at the end of the day

Our fur baby Dexter loves Paws 'n' Rec. He knows when he is going when I get his traveling leash out and ask if he wants to go for a ride. We have been going there since they opened for daycare and boarding. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and truly cares about Dexter's well-being. If you need a place for your pup to stay overnight or play and release some energy, this is the place.
We have used Paws and Rec- Grace since December 2023 for daycare 5 days week most weeks and overnight/ boarding when we are out of town. We have used a few other daycares in the area, there are a number of reasons why we only use them despite living 45 minutes away right now. The hours are more flexible as we often have different work schedules from week to week starting early AM; the ratio of dogs are less; the staff is consistently professional and friendly and the dogs safety being a priority is clear. We have two high energy breeds with very different personalities they recognize and cater to. Thank you!
Great staff, very clean. I like that the new dogs have to be interviewed and approved before they can play with all the dogs. My Labrador retriever, Boca absolutely loves going for day care and boarding.
