Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!

Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. You will be lucky if he can do the same for you. :)

Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care. Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue. He cleaned up the messes and I came home to a clean house and VERY happy babies! My two dogs LOVED him. He is extremely reliable, clean, trustworthy and was incredibly caring to my dogs. Wonderful Kennel! Matt was so wonderful to deal with! He answered every question we had, and treated our 2 English bulldogs like they were his own. The price is great, they had no issues giving our boys their meds, the runs were spacious, the play yards were amazing and I loved the little report card we got at pick up. Will definitely be boarding our boys here again!

Went to Vegas for 10 Fays and when returned my 4 dogs were so happy they didn’t even acknowledge my return to pick them up because they we’re having so much fun running around with the other dogs! I’ve never seen them so happy, they lived on site what I liked too.
It was my 1st I ever went to a kennel for my dogs I was more worried about the little yorkie I have that wouldn’t adjust but they understoodand I couldn’t be more pleased, I will go back when I need them. And they are close by for me and that’s a plus.
I absolutely love boarding my dogs at Double Hydrant. It truly is like a fun vacation for the dogs. We drive over 30 miles to board our dogs here because it is well worth it. Debbie and Matt take great care of our "kids," Mocha and Nero, while we're out of town. They are very accommodating to our crazy travel schedule. Mocha is a blue healer mix that I have to take time to explain her behavior with kennels so she doesn't instigate dog fights. Debbie and Matt are the first dog trainers that fully understand the type of structure and discipline that she needs to be able to socialize with other dogs. Every time I pick them up from Double Hydrant, I'm in awe that she was able to play with other dogs. I never have any worries leaving our dogs here. The dogs have a lot of fun and I love the daily report that we get when the dogs get picked up.
It is awesome to have such a super kennel this close to home. I am very picky about who cares for my babies and would have no problem going the distance to find a suitable caregiver for them. Matt is accommodating and caring and truly dotes on our "furry children". They are safe, happy, and loved when they are at the Double Hydrant!

Just started bringing my German shepherd, Ziva, for day care. She loves it. Seems as though she has already bonded with her new friends, Matt and Deb. I feel confident that she is well cared for. Definitely visit and see for yourself.

Boarded our 2 year old male cat for 5 days. Cat area was extremely nice. Clean, bright and spacious. It was also isolated from dogs so cats didn't have to deal with that. Owner and staff very nice and very accommodating. Would definitely use them again.
Only place we take the pets. Don't let the cost fool you. Just because they affordable does not mean not reliable or inanetive. Always accommodating. Will keep you updated if needed. Super friendly. They even greet you as you enter the parking lot. Clould not recommend enough. Wish I could give more stars... Thank you Patty's!!!
Very satisfied with the care they gave my dogs and cat. Clean, air conditioned and they walk the dogs several times a day. My dogs seem very content there. I have used them for several years now and never disappointed.

We use Patti's at least twice a year for our two furballs. They absolutely love it there! Whenever we get close they start getting so excited, you'd think they were going to the dog park! They are nothing but professional and every time we leave our pups there we know they are being well taken care of!
Boarded my 13-pound Chihuahua mix here for a week. Normally she hates the kennel but when I picked her up she was very energetic. I like that they make sure the dog actually eats their food during their stays because at other kennels my dog would hardly eat for the entire stay; when I picked up my dog almost all her food was eaten. It is also nice that they separate little and big dogs for play time because my dog is terrified of larger dogs. The price is very reasonable as well.
Haven’t gone back here for years, ever since they apparently abused our boxer. When we went to pick her up, instead of happiness she was cowering in fear. We boarded her for a week, called mid-week to check on things and they told us “you can never bring her back here.” That comment totally RUINED the remainder of our vacation! Too many other amazing kennels in the area, don’t waste your time, money and possibly risk the well-being of your pet going to this place!

I really recommend Mt Top Kennel. I have been boarding my dogs here for years and Kristie and her staff have always taken excellent care of my pets. I have peace of mind when I drop them off.
Christie and the staff are very conciencous and helpful. My dog looks forward to her vacations at Mt. Top Kennel! The kennels are comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor runs and clean. Feeding is as directed by the owner, there is an outdoor play area and any medical care needed is taken care of by the staff as needed. I have recommended Mt. Top Kennel to all of my friends.
Our dogs stay here any time we're on vacation. They understand dogs and our dogs always enjoy their "vacation" there and get excited any time we return. I always opt for them to give our dogs a good bath before returning home.
Our dog Daisy was traumatized after we picked her up. Drop off was between 8am and 10am and pick up was between 5pm and 7pm. Her right ear had a little crust on it and they said her water bowl tipped over....so instead of refilling I'm guessing she went without water...cause when we got her in the car she drank the water like she didn't drink all day. My husband called numerous times too check on her and one answered all day. They said someone was there all day with the dogs, but I don't think anyone was there all day. The owner lives on the property and I don't know why she couldn't check on her or answer the phone. Daisy won't stop crying. Owner said she can't find anyone too work....why can't she do the job? She's the owner!!! Unacceptable and I will be calling a lawyer. .

This place takes excellent care of my dogs and when I had cats. We have gone other places but this one is prime! When we had a dog that needed extra care they bent over backwards to take care of everything she needed! I'll never forget that!
