We were so pleased to find Golden Wood Boarding for our 3 furbabies. The staff is very sweet & the business is extremely professional. The kennel floors are heated, and kept very clean. Video surveillance is a must, and there's constant monitoring to ensure the animals safety. Calls are answered in a timely manner, and that is EXTREMELY important to me. Each kennel has a photo of the dog, along with their daily feeding & potty info. We got a photo of their smiling faces, and even a report card to show how their day went. The extra services (there is a reasonable cost for those) help them to relax, and truly enjoy their stay. Honestly, I was very nervous about their first visit, but the communication was on point & VERY much appreciated! This will definitely be one of their 'vacation spots' while we enjoy our time away. Thanks for caring about our 'kids' as we do!!!

I love the staff and the facility at Golden Wood Lappans Crossroads MD! My golden retriever has the best time there each visit. She gets so excited when we arrive!

The dogs were well taken care let me say that first! BUT the price we paid was CRAZY compared to when it was Widows Mite. Again not complaining about the care, we just can’t personally afford them. It’s truly a shame. We go to Harvest Moon for most of our boarding but they were booked for this weekend so we gave them a shot. Thanks for taking care of our pups but you gotta come down on the cost. AND TRUST ME I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR MY DOGS. ❤️

We've boarded our dog Levi here in the past when they were still known as Widow's Mite Kennels. Golden Wood, Lappans Rd is a VERY nice kennel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and kind to your animals. They even give you extras so your dog can have a good vacation too. You do have to pay for the extras, but, it's reasonably priced. You do however have to pay them to give your dog medicine if needed, but, it's all reasonably priced too. And, you pay when you pick up your dog(s). They took such good care of our dog Levi, even giving us 2 pictures of him. They are a chain of kennels, so, their prices to board are a little higher than when it was Widow's Mite Kennels. I'd board our dog there again. It's nice there and the dogs have plenty of room to run. 10/10 recommend.

This was the first time...I really loved this place. Great up-front communication..daily updates with photos. If I asked a question quick response. Great features...they also offer baths...nature walks...play ...My dog is deaf so I opted for her to be in the yard alone. Bring your own food and toys or they have food. My dog was very happy and not stressed at all. Thank you to a great staff.

We have an anxious, skittish dog, who is also older and needs extra TLC. We have been taking her to Harvest Moon for over 2 years. When she walks away from us, with the staff, when we drop her off, she is happy to go! That speaks so much. That she is comfortable there. It's hard to leave her, but we couldn't feel any better than to see her happy, and to get daily updates on her while we are gone. And she looks great when we pick her up. No signs of stress, just a happy older pup!

This was the first time boarding our dogs in 5 years due to a horrible experience. Beth and the team made me feel comfortable before we even left. The text updates were great and to see the smiles on our pups faces made us feel at ease! The next trip away, our pups will be back to visit! Such a great place to leave your pup. The employees are always so happy to spend time and care for your dog. They keep you informed with daily pictures of your pup. The kennels are cleaned and well taken care of. They take care of small and large size dogs. I have been very pleased and confident that Harvest moon is a safe place for my dog. I found Harvest Moon through Google & I AM SO HAPPY that I did!! The ladies who work there are so gentle and super loving. The whole booking process is simple, they offer nature walks and nail trimmings. They sent us photo updates throughout her visit (which helped SO much, as this was our first puppy & never had to leave her!) All around a very pleasant experience. I used Yappy Vibes for the first time for my little guy Milo and Kayla was great! From the beginning to the end. The Price was great!, and my little guy can be nervous around people he’s not use to But he did great! And Kayla was great with him. She had his little tag wagging within minutes. If I could give Yappy Vibes 100 starts I totally would. I am very weird about who I let my dogs around. We have a German Shepherd who is super guarded about people coming to his home and he went right up to Kayla and was happy to see her immediately. Our Husky has a TON of energy and Kayla handled him perfectly as well. I will continue to send my dogs to her, she did an amazing job washing them and even getting them to let her cut their nails which they never let anyone do.

This was our first time using Yappy Vibes. It was great that it was local, which made it very convenient. Our pup is anxious when going to the groomers, but Kayla took her time and was so patient with him. I think she might be one of his favorite people now. I absolutely love Kayla and her love for animals. She treats my dogs as her own and works wonderfully with them. When it comes to babysitting, cleaning teeth, clipping nails, bathing Yappy Vibes is your place to go! Provides the highest quality of care. I can not say enough good things about my experience with boarding our fur babies with Kayla! She came and took the time to meet with us and get to know our pups. Both are rescues and very nervous about new humans. Kayla was a new friend almost instantly! We felt safe and confident that our pups were going to be okay while we were gone. We received great pics and came home to two happy pups! We will definitely be calling Kayla again!

Yapping Vibes did a great job grooming my Australian Shepard mix. Willow is super soft and happy. Also she looks great in her Yappy Vibes bandana. Willow warmed back up to Kayla right away and seemed like she was at home while she was at Yappy Vibes! Thanks for the great service!

friendly service. we have a VERY friendly rottweiler who is 6, and when we request for them to give him a bath, they never do, and say something like 'oh, he tried to bite us' or 'we didn't have enough people'. and when we picked him up recently, he smelled so bad, as if he was rolling around in poop and mud.

Very friendly staff, able to see kennel facilities. Pricing was a bit confusing but I could’ve asked more questions-email breakdown would be helpful. With that pricing seems reasonable. Would take pets there again.

Wonderful place. A good location that allows for "nature walks" for your dog. Friendly, caring staff. We received text photos of our dogs every day, which made us very happy to see them during their stay. Our dogs were in good hands, and we plan on using them again.

Excellent kennel!! We have been going there with all our dogs over the years. Whether our dog requires special medication or food or special handling, we can always rely on the staff there to give them personal attention. It's so nice to know our dog is in good hands and well taken care of.

Our dogs always go to Pets Vacationland. We appreciate the owner and her attentiveness to our pets, and the prices for grooming services and boarding are great. After boarding with them for more than a year now, I can give a solid recommendation. I think you will be happy with the service.

We took our beloved lab there and it was a HORRIBLE experience. When we came tp pick her up, the desk person didn't know which dog was ours and when we asked if she'd gotten the daily walks (which we had requested and paid for), the staff member shrugged and said "I don't know." We found her stinking of urine and her bed was soaked, too. This was a dog that never had accidents. I was furious and felt horrible for our dog. If I could give nehative 5 stars, i would!.

This place is dirty. Smells of urine and had puddles of urine just outside the dog kennels. No drainage whatsoever when they just spray down the kennel. When I picked my dog up he was coughing and wheezing terribly (he spend 6 days there). I brought him to the vet today and he has kennel cough (and yes he has his vaccination). Unbelieveable! This place has great marketing but poor execution! Never take your dog here if you care about their health! There is a reason they have a lot of room when other kennels are booked solid. Disgusting!

I have used many other kennels from California to Maryland. Pet Vactionland is miles above the rest!! I had to board my dog for almost two months at P.V. while I was looking for a place to rent that accepted dogs. I am so glad I found P.V. They made me a client for life!! The place is always clean and the staff is super accommodating and dedicated!! The owners Karen and Scott are wonderful and absolutely care about animals!! The rates are super reasonable and I will never take any of my pets any where else!!!👍👍👍👍

We were nervous because our 10 yr old cat Bruce had never been to a kennel but they put us at ease with how caring they were about his needs and our concerns and even went out of way to accomadate our drop off and pick up time! Would gladly recommend to anyone!

I'm really not sure I've got my dog scheduled to stay there in about a week. But from my tour it seems like a nice place for her to stay. The staff there are very personable and care alot about the animals in their care. We will see.

John did a wonderful job caring for my 7 cats. He kept in touch with me everyday and sent me pictures! I can see how much he loves and cares for animals!

We just returned from a five night vacation in FL. Mr. John of Mid-Maryland Pet Sitting was super with our six kitties. He was so flexible and accommodating when we had to adjust dates a few days before the trip given an error on my part in scheduling. Mr. John took care of feeding, treats, litter, and all kitty meds. He spent quality time with our kitties twice a day for six days. A Cat Dad himself, Mr. John knows how much we miss the kitties when we travel. He even takes time to take pictures of the kitties and sent us pics daily. That made our days even happier. Service was outstanding and our kitties were so content and peaceful when we arrived home. In addition, Mr. John ensured our mail and packages were brought in, trash/recycle went out, receptacles brought in, and the kitchen was so clean when we arrived home!!! Icing on the cake, he brought our kitties some treats and new toys. That was so fun!! Enjoy travel even more knowing your fur babies are cared for and loved. John was wonderful in taking care of my chickens and goats for a week! He sent me updates and pictures every day. Everyone was in perfect shape and well loved while I was awhile! Very grateful that I have found him!

Mid-Maryland Pet Sitting is great! We left our cat Henry in John’s capable hands while we went to our daughter’s destination wedding. We had so much to think about, but worrying about Henry wasn’t one of them! He visited twice a day like clockwork, took care of various chores, checked our house, and most importantly, played with Henry and gave him love and attention! He even sent us photos of Henry which were so fun to receive. It was smooth and easy and we were able to relax knowing Henry was in good hands. John is very warm, caring and we’re so happy to have found him!

John takes care of our fur babies as if they're his own! He make sure to give them play sessions so they stay out of trouble while we're gone and sends lots of photos and communication so we always know how they're doing. He also takes care of things around the house, such as taking out the trash and watering plants, so we always have the comfort of knowing everything's okay at home. The peace of mind is truly invaluable!

We love John from Mid-Maryland Pet Sitting! My family recently moved from Frederick, but when we lived in Frederick John was our go-to for cat sitting! He treated our cat like his own, sent us updates with photos, and cared for her so much! He also watched my younger cat (who can be a handful) and handled her great as well. We love John and trust no one else with our pets! He has had no problem taking care of my sick and diabetic cat, who needed two insulin shots a day. I could find no other service in the Middletown area to do this. John is great with any animal, we also have a chinchilla and two rabbits. He regularly updates us with photos and has also given advice and tried to find a food my sick cat would like to eat. He has a love for animals and is very reliable and professional. Lynnsee is a godsend for our reactive male blue heeler, Vulcan. He is a fearful boy, and after going through a lot of trauma, seems to be scared of just about everything. But Lynnsee is helping us break his walls down by establishing trust, learning communication and body language, and by utilizing a lot of treats and toys. 💕 We still have a long way to go, but we're so happy with the progress she's already helped us make with him!

Jen is great. She's kind and funny, professional, responds quickly, the cats loved her (well, one did and the other one was completely unimpressed, but that's approval in her case) and we received pictures of the cats over the time we were gone that made us laugh (she nailed their personalities in the pictures) and reassured us that the cats were receiving excellent care while we were away. On our first meeting she made a ton of notes and the next time we asked her to care for our dummies, we didn't have to leave a care note or remind her about the routine as she'd taken such thorough notes about our cats and their care the first time. We highly recommend Jen to anyone who needs pet care.

I am very impressed with Jen's Home and Pet Care services. I recently took a much needed trip away and left my 4 dachshunds in her care. She was very pleasant to speak to and enthusiastic about this huge undertaking. Jen offered references with glowing reviews. My pups were extremely calm when I came home and I can't tell you how appreciative I am to have her take care of them. Jen is such a blessing.

Jen quickly won over our rescue who now looks forward to her daily visits! She has been super responsive and flexible which is exactly what we needed after an autoimmune diagnosis prevented him from attending his usual daycare. We started sessions with Katie for our two Dobermans to brush up manners and get them walking nicely. We cannot say enough positive things about Katie, her training style and obvious love of working with dogs. We have had lessons with Katie in home, at her center and at local parks. We love the convenience of the home sessions when needed and the center is wonderful and absolutely perfect for training. We love that she also has met us at parks as training them in an environment they have a hard time with was a game changer. Our pups have come a long way working with Katie and all of the things she has taught us so far have been extremely helpful in getting our girls to behave well. Very pleased with the care Katie and her crew gave to my 3 cats while we were away. Although It was a few months between first contacting her for pet sitting services, Katie was very proactive in contacting me by email closer to our departure date to inquire if there were any changes to the care my guys would need. I did inform her there were a couple of minor changes and she responded quickly by email. Also the day after the services ended Katie reached out to me to verify that we had indeed arrived home so that there would be no lapse in care. There was a written paper daily pet log that let me know how my 3 did while we were gone. I will certainly contact 4-Legged Friends Pet Services again. Thanks Katie and Alison!

Katie is the best sitter in town! I always feel safe when I leave my fur babies in her care. Not only does she also bring in my mail, but rotates lights and curtains per my request. Plus, there is always a log of visits filled with fun stories of what my babies have been up to! And I also take my dog, Dante, to her classes and he is such a well behaved boy now. Her training techniques are stellar and Dante always looks forward to visiting the "treat lady!" Thank you for all that you do and giving me confidence knowing my animals will be well loved!

In my opinion, my dog wasn't given the time to get situated with his environment. He was too stressed out to even begin learning commands. And unfortunately the trainer didn't see this and continued to teach the class with stressed out dogs.
