Truly top notch!!! Gillshire Kennels is by far one of, if not the very best kennel in all of WA! Liz is an amazing lady, with a lifetime of experience in the dog show circuit, this in-depth animal knowledge, upmost level of care, customer service and professionalism comes thru in large ways and small. She has absolutely made a positive impact on our dog Journey's life and she loves staying there! Staff has always been great and very accommodating. 5 stars and then some. If you are looking to board your pet in a safe, 1st class facility, look no further than Gillshire's!

Does not take german shepherds claimed they are all anxiety filled when seeing other dogs. This person has never met my dogs. She also said of course yours maybe different. Just say you have breed restrictions no need to be offensive about it or say all shepherds are this way. They are not. No worries I'll take my well trained socliazed working dog and my money elsewhere 😉 Don't bother calling if u have a shepherd. This pace should do evaluations instead of just denying a dog based off breed alone

My dogs toe is fractured and I had to leave town. I wanted to take her to my regular daycare, but my vet told me she had to take it easy. Gillshire kennels made sure to take care of my baby the way I would while I was gone. They made sure she was comfortable and happy. They cleaned all of her supplies and did such a wonderful job taking care of my fragile geriatric baby. Thank you again. She was very happy when I picked her up

Liz and team take excellent care of pups in their care. I've been taking my senior pup here for 3 years and everytime they treat him with grace and give him his meds on time and he comes back a happy and healthy guy. I really appreciate all they do for the pups in their care.

I kenneled my senior lab and pug puppy here for over 2 weeks. I was nervous kenneling them for so long but I liked the "hotel style" kennel they have vs doggy daycare boarding. Both pups came home happy and healthy. I was able to call and check on them anytime they were open. I also like the flat rate price and no added fees for feeding and potty breaks like other kennels in the area.

Leaving your pet to board couldn't make you feel better. We have boarded our guinea pig, Caliope, 3 times with Gillshire Kennels, Inc. and she's come back just fine. The 'hotel' she stays in is roomier than her cage at home. We are taking her this weekend to board with her 'sister' Poppy.

Gillshire Kennels offers the best dog care in the area. We board our two greyhounds there when we're going out of town and Liz and her team take amazing care of them. Both of our dogs are older, have anxiety, and require daily medications, which was a problem in other boarding facilities. But not at the Gillshire Kennels. They get personalized care. The facilities are clean. The team is super friendly. The prices are reasonable. Our dogs come back home clean, well-fed, and happy. The well-being of your dog is their main goal. I highly recommend them. And thank you for taking such good care of our dogs!

I started taking my 2 Bulldogs to ComfortaBull Dog Care a couple of years ago when my youngest Bulldog Chunk was going through Chemo & my oldest dog Chewie was going through his IMHA treatments. I have taken my dogs to other kennels and they did not like it and neither did I. So, I was so happy to find out about a Bully breed only boarding place close to my home that was in a home. I immediately felt at ease with Janet and could tell that she truly loves bulldogs as much as I do! She even took my Chunk to one of his oncologist appointments and gave both my boys their meds that they needed while they were fighting their diseases. Unfortunately, Chunk lost his battle with cancer last year, but he loved Janet and her daughters. I felt relieved when I had to leave my boys at ComfortaBull dog care knowing that they would be around other bully breeds and in a comfortable home setting. If you have a bully breed don't hesitate boarding them here where they will be treated like part of the family. <3

When you're happy to drive from North of Seattle to ComfortaBULL's southern location for boarding, you know it's because there's no other place you trust more with your bully's wellbeing and safety. Rocky is so loved and well cared for at Janet's. He loves being there, and we joke (but also maybe a little serious?) that he mopes when he comes back home. Your four legged family member is in the best of care with Janet and her loving family!

Hands down the best boarding for our English Bulldog. He is loved and spoiled and loved some more. Janet follows all your dogs necessary routine and adds her magic touch with daily messages to know your fur baby is doing well. My dog loves going and Janet's girls make the experience extra special. Definitely a homey experience. The girls even know our dog out and about, Maximus knows them too!

As for myself, I'm not saying I am a helicopter dog mom, but I wouldn't deny it. Our dogs likely live better qualities of life than a majority of America's youth and they receive the same treatment when away at "Camp" (Janet's). I am not exaggerating when I say our female is depressed the week following pick up - they absolutely love their time with Janet and her family. We don't have kids around often, so our dogs love the extra attention and snuggles, and selfishly I love the exposure for them. We found Janet through a social media friend in the bulldog community. I knew as soon as our meet and greet was over that our pups would be in the right hands. My husband and I were leaving for a lengthier trip abroad and once he met Janet when we dropped off the dogs, he breathed the biggest sigh of relief. Not saying he loves the dogs more than he loves me, but I am not saying he doesn't. All in all, ComfortaBULL DOG Care is an asset to the bulldog community and our bebe's forever second home. We will follow Janet wherever she goes. Janet and family are AMAZING!!!!! From taking care of our Frenchie Olive during a long out of country vacation to all the monthly get togethers to meet other bulldog owners they are the best!! I could not recommend them more!!!! Love you guys!!!!

Hi, this is Maximus Steel Blu. You can call me Max. I’m a big tri merle blue english bulldog. I love to go see Janet and her hubby and the girls. I follow Janet around the house when I’m there just like I do with my mom. Janet must be a good cook because my nose goes crazy over the smell. I always hope they will share so I sit and watch for just a little taste to drop to the floor. I love that my family takes me to Janet because there are always friends for me to play with. And the girls give me lots of love. When I’m done playing I snuggle on the couch with the adults because I’m also a lap dog. They make me feel at home when I’m not. They even have toys for me. Whenever I do something silly, Janet sends a message to my mom. I’m still a puppy so I’m kinda silly. I make the girls laugh. They even recognized me out at the park the other day and gave me loves. They love me like their own.

Janet and her family take care of my English bulldog rescue pup just like he belongs to them. He's not much into playing with the other pups but he gets to sleep in her daughter's room and wake the kiddo up in the morning. When I picked him up after his last stay there, all of her daughters wanted to give him kisses goodbye and he loved it! Janet and her family have a lovely home and take wonderful care of their visiting bulldogs. It's like leaving them with family! My only regret is that we don't live close enough for my dog to go there for daycare too!

We were SO happy to find comfortabull! We have two French bulldogs who have very different personalities and needs. Janet and her family took AMAZING care of our ladies. Her communication throughout their stay was so helpful and we loved seeing the photos and videos. Their first stay was their longest time away from us, which make us nervous but they did amazing! They came home happy and tired from playing with all their new friends. I cannot recommend Janet enough! We hope to use her in the future!

ComfortaBull Dog Care has been our go to sitter for our two English bulldogs. I was so nervous leaving my Roscoe the first time we went out of town but Janet texted me updates and photos and seeing how much fun he was having and all the love he was getting put me right at ease. Janet knows how to properly care for the bulldog bread. The best part about sending Roscoe and Cuba to ComfortaBull Dog Care is that they are part of Janet’s family. When we go to drop them off they are both excited and know exactly where they are… their “vacation home”. We used this place to board our 2 pups and it went great! Drop off and pickup was very easy and the prices were affordable for the area. They allowed me to set up my pups kennel (which was large and clean). My one dog has a lot of anxiety and had never been boarded but seemed to do great there! They were clean and in great shape upon pickup. I would use this place again!

We bring our dogs, American Bully, “Primo” and Chihuahua mix “Tosca” (who mean the world our family) to Bed and Biscuit often, for over two years now. Our beloved pets are always returned healthy, itch/virus free, with weight unchanged, often bathed and nails clipped upon request. The staff has helped us out on short notice several times and goes above and beyond to work with us to save a days fee, by extending a pick-up time window (within reason). During holidays we’ve been gifted take home treat bags for the dogs, disposable leashes, that we use several times for other uses…(such as vet drop-offs). Pick up is always hassle free, quick and without mistakes as our belonging and pets are handed back to us; while sharing some short stories about how the dogs spent their days at the facility. Hats off to staff and recommendations from us to you all looking for a fair priced, professional, and kind place to drop-off your furry friends. We trust them, you should as well. -Michael

My special needs dog.spent a week here Sept 2024, very pleased with his care, I feel like they watched him closely and made sure his kennel was clean and they made sure he ate his food, even adding a little canned food to encourage him to eat. Highly recommend this kennel.

We’ve been taking our dogs to Win Star for years. Spotlessly clean you never have that “doggie” smell the love and care they show for our dogs is just what we give. We have them bathed and groomed when we pick them up so they have that fresh look. We find the staff caring and attentive to our needs. Owners John and Tammie are truly professionals!

We have had our dogs stay here several times. They treat them very well, with individual yard time, and each time we have picked them up, our dogs are freshly bathed and happy.

My old Aussie needed an emergency bath and Win-Star came through. I can't express how refreshing and grateful I am to have honest, compassionate service. We found a groomer for life for all of our dogs, we can't recommend them enough.

The owners John and Tammie go above and beyond in caring for your animals health and safety. I just can't say enough about this facility and the love they give your animals (dogs and cats both) whether you are boarding your pets, grooming them or attending a training program at Winstar, you will be glad you did. So many things going on here there's something for everyone here if you love your pets bring them here today. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. They take great care of our dogs every time. We've used them for about 7 years now. Clean facilities. Kind people. Once in 7 years our dog came back with kennel cough (the only time she leaves our home is to get boarded there). Definitely recommend.

My dogs love coming here. When I picked them up they are always happy and never seem stressed. I’m so glad I found this gem. The owners are very nice and you can tell they take good care of your dogs. With two senior pups, we are so thankful to have found a safe place for them when we need to travel without them.

The staff and owners of Win-Star B&B took excellent care of our 5 dogs while we had to be away for a family emergency. They were very accommodating with our food and feeding schedule and our pick up and drop off needs. Our dogs don't all get along and need to be in separate kennels, Win-Star staff had no problem handling this request and even kept them in different areas of the kennel. Upon return our dogs were happy and healthy!!! I will use this kennel EVERYTIME I have a need to board my dogs in the future!

If you have a WORKING dog, a DOG reactive, HUMAN reactive, ESCAPE ARTIST, PROBLEM PET, our simple household couch potato, THIS is the place for your pet! I will never in my entire lifetime trust anyone else with my dogs besides Country Kennels! I know that when I am on vacation, my guys are in a safe location, with their boundaries being respected and they're safely being taken care of in a clean, well maintained environment by competent, caring employees 24 hours a day! They have indoor/outdoor runs available. Short or long term care. Always accepting reservations and you can book in advance. Day care options are also available. They also offer "hands off" care for those "spicy" guests. You can't just leave your pets anywhere when you go out of town and you definitely need to be able to leave reactive dogs in an enviroment you can trust. I'll put it this way, THIS is the location the families of the local K9 units and working dogs suggested, which is how I found out about them. If you're unsure where to leave your reactive dog, take it from an owner of 2 "A-hole" Corso's, you can trust this facility and their staff with your working dog!!!

We took our cat here for his first stay away from home and he did so well. The kennel sent photos almost daily and gave me updates on how he was doing. I felt very comfortable leaving him in their hands. They let me take him back to his space when I dropped him off, too. They give the cats individual play and free time daily, which was wonderful because I have a very active boy. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be bringing my cat here again when traveling for extended periods of time.

Never bringing my dog here again. She came back with chafing on her paws and snout. They told me that they just now noticed her injuries when I picked her up. Shows that they aren't even watching her. The chainlink fence is not safe for her mouth. She also came back very weak, skinny, could barely walk, and she had labored breathing at night. Very scary she was not the same dog I came in with

We have brought our 2 German Shepherds to Country Kennels a few times but this last visit will be our last. The previous visit I noticed that the blankets we brought were never taken out of the bag, so this visit I brought the beds out of their crates from home along with the blankets they got when they were puppies. We also brought a few toys for each one along with treats, bones and their food. When we arrived to check in I asked if I could go back to set the kennel up with their stuff and was told they no longer allowed people back in the kennel area. That should have been a red flag. When we showed up to pick them up, they had one bed & blanket up front for Kota and I was told they had given Ravens bed and blanket to another owner with a dog named Raven. I was beyond upset, I asked how they could give it to the wrong person if it was in the kennel with the dogs??? I was then told they had their own beds so they didn't put them in with the dogs. Why not say that instead of taking my stuff back to the kennel area in the 1st place. A lady came out and was beyond rude saying it was an accident they gave Ravens stuff to the wrong person and they weren't going to call the person they gave our stuff to since their dog had died after leaving. Wow at this point I'm in tears. This is the bed out of her crate at home and her blanket she had since she was a puppy. So rude to me when they made the mistake. My only mistake was leaving my dogs there. The girl at the counter then asked if any of the toys on the counter were ours, 2 of them were ours. We still ended up missing a new crinkly toy that we bought right before taking them to the kennel and the bones we brought for them both. Once again our personal items were not with our dogs for their use. They didn't give us any left over food or treats and I always pack extra. Now comes the bill they tried to charge us for daycare after we had both dogs bathed(which is supposed to give you an automatic late check out.) They took that off then added a 24.85 service charge. Monday I got a phone call saying the person had brought back Raven's bedding, so I went & picked it up. They couldn't find our new crinkly toy so I'm sure it went home with someone else as well. I don't understand how the kennel could be so negligent. Our babies won't be going back.

The first time I left my dog to go to YTC training for the Army went very great. So great that for Airborne training I decided to take her here again. My dog is 21 plus years old but still eats up her food like a vacuum. Because I had her since she was a pup, her well-being is important to me, I do not mind paying for her if that means she is well. I was gone for 3 weeks. I traveled up to come get her but very quickly grabbed her and headed home. I noticed that she was bathed, but at home I realized that she had lost so much weight. I could feel her bones. I had a conversation before I left about how much to feed her. I usually feed her 2 small cans or a large can a day. I was assured that if she ran out of the food I had bought her, they would give her the food they had. I am not sure what happened. Since I brought her home she has been eating non-stop. It is important that if you decide to board your dog here for more than 2 weeks that you make it clear to the staff to feed your dog and hopefully avoid what I experienced. Especially if you end up paying a lot of money like I did.

Absolutely amazing place. My Mini Aussie Sage was very happy with her stay. She usually is happy to see me at first then pouts for a couple hours after she's been boarded, but this time she was happy to see me and wanted to play for the rest of the day. I take that as a positive.

Wonderful! Took our youngest for a trial run and they were very informative. Offered extra options but didn’t “force” them on me. The pricing was very reasonable. We went back and boarded all 3 of our dogs for a long weekend and it was amazing to not have to worry about the pups while we were gone. All three came back happy 😊.

I was happy with the pride that is evident in this facility. The staff were helpful during my tour. I immediately felt comfortable with using this facility. I boarded Teddy Bear for the first time ever. They were professional and polite and comforting. The facility is very clean, organized, and well staffed. The setting just made me very comfortable in taking my pet here and leaving him in their care. The pictures they posted on the website were helpful and assured me that they were making sure he was in a great place and having fun. When I picked Teddy up he was very happy of course. I noticed how comfortable and clean and relaxed he appeared. If ever I need a daycare or boarding again, I will absolutely take Teddy Bear here again.

Just picked my dog up from a 1 week stay here and as soon as we got home I realized she had kennel cough. Staff didn’t mention anything about it to me, so either they were hiding it or not paying enough attention to her to notice. Very disappointed.

Out of the local kennels I've tried, this is by far our favorite! My elderly dog definitely seems to prefer it, too! They take great care of her, and we usually have them bathe her and clip her nails, too. She comes back happy as a clam, which is saying something since she's super codependent with me!!

I had my dogs here for four days. It was their first experience so, naturally, I was nervous.I appreciated the wonderful pictures Becca sent throughout our vacation and her response time was amazing! The facility was clean and looked wonderful. I'm glad I chose to board my dogs here and will come back!

Where do I begin… To be honest I selfishly do not want to leave a raving review for Becca because I want her all to myself! My family recently went on a family holiday vacation hoping to return after 10 days. Well the PNW snow and Omicron changed things and our return flight home got cancelled. We had to stay back another 3 days since we couldn’t get on an earlier flight. I reached out to Becca and without hesitation she happily eased my stress and anxiety with a reply, “No worries!! Literally everyone has had flights delayed or cancelled. No one has gone home on time. 🤣 I know cancelled flights are frustrating but don't worry about Moe! He can stay until you get back.” And she takes the most awesome pictures & truly loves hanging out with our Moe!

Becca has been amazing with our senior dog, we couldn't be happier with her, she is very professional and passionated, We love her!!!

Becca was simply amazing to work with! She spent over an hour on the phone listening to my concerns, and getting a feel for if her kennel would be the right fit for our dogs (compared to the other kennels I spoke to who seemed more concerned with payment then the dogs’ well being). From the beginning, you can tell she truly cares about what’s best for not only your dogs, but the other dogs that she is caring for. My two dogs Harley & Willow are a bonded pair, and had never been boarded before - they are spoiled rotten, they sleep with us and are allowed on the furniture, so we had major concerns leaving them for a week to go on our honeymoon. Willow has separation anxiety and dog aggression (except to Harley) so she was not a candidate for any group play kennels. I love that Summit is a home to the pups that need special accommodations; before I stumbled on their page I feared we’d never be able to go on our honeymoon. Summit kennels was the only boarder I found that gives one on one (or in our case two on two) attention, full of walks, play time, treat puzzles, the works! And it’s included in the price! I love that it’s not one of those “$15 for a 15 minute walk“ place, this is individualized care, and exactly what we were looking for. We toured the kennel and grounds which are extremely clean, calm, we didn’t hear any barking or restlessness except when my husband spoke too loud so we moved to a different area to talk - a perfect example of how concerned Becca is with ensuring the dogs experience as little anxiety as possible - it was so impressive! Becca is also extremely communicative, she sent us an update within an hour of leaving the pups, and continued daily updates with photos and videos which eased our minds tremendously for this being the first time we’d ever left them. She worked with both on their leash/walking skills while they stayed with her, which were terrible previously. Not to mention she gave us the sweetest framed picture of our pups as a keepsake. I cannot recommend Becca highly enough, she is the reason my husband and I can travel again in the future, I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Our 14 month Golden Retriever spent a month away at Summit Kennels and we couldn't have been happier with the results! Becca did an amazing job training our pup to be the perfect family dog. The facility was exceptionally clean and organized, and the tools/advice she offered us for future reference was very thorough and spot on in terms of animal behavior. I would definitely recommend Summit Kennels to anyone looking to board their pet and we will absolutely return in the future!

I can’t express how amazing Becca is with our babies and what a blessing she has been . We moved up here stressing about my Great Dane because she isn’t allowed at most places. Becca has more then been willing to help . She also has clean amazing facilities a nice yard for them the play in . She has plenty of activities and toys and makes any kind of food Accommodation You can think of . She goes in debt on the personality of the dog so she can work on them individually . She sends updates and pictures that makes you feel so much more relaxed about being away from your babies. I could go on and on about how amazing she is . Best by far .

Becca at Summit Kennels is amazing. With less than a weeks notice she squeezed in our lab Rocky for boarding over the Thanksgiving week. Becca communicated with us the whole time Rocky was staying at Summit Kennels. She even sent us daily photos of Rocky playing or hanging out. The kids really enjoyed seeing her updates of Rocky. Becca also gave Rocky some much needed leash training. He’s doing amazing now!! I cannot say enough good things about this kennel! Becca even had a framed picture of Rocky for us when we arrived to pick him up. My parents were so amazed they are going to board their three dogs. If you are looking for the best kennel your dog deserves, look no further. If you aren’t boarding your dog here, you have no idea what you and your pooch are missing!! I forgot to mention how clean the kennel was. Definitely 5 star! Thank you again Becca!!

Our pitbull loved staying at Becca's place. She sent us a ton of pictures, and he was super happy. We'll never go anywhere else. We're just really grateful she opened her kennels recently. We trust Becca to take care of our dog like it was her own. And bonus, he came back trained to walk loose leash!

Becca and Summit kennels did an fantastic job. We were referred to Summit by our dog trainer. This is the first time using Summit Kennels and by far the longest we have left our dog (10days). I have to say I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The staff clearly loves dogs: we got photos, videos, status updates everyday. I didn’t even ask. Becca and crew played games and did agility training I didn’t know I our dog could do. Apparently our dog can snatch treats from the sky and walk on a balance beam if properly motivated. The actual kennel has tons of room with a built in spot with wood chips for doing business. Our dog came home clean, calm, and well rested. That’s better than I can say for some of my recent hotel stays.

Our boy Rico attended Brittney’s pack for a while. He loved it, he’d come home tired and happy. We always felt like he was well taken care of. He is a puppy and Brittney definitely tried her best to accommodate to his puppy needs. He even injured his tail because he was too happy, got “happy tail” one day. He is a little menace and tried to jump over the fence a couple times which caused him to injure his leg but Brittney was always very transparent and informed my husband and I. If your dog isn’t a little menace like ours you should totally go with Brittney’s outstanding business, the puppies have plenty of room to play and they will be loved and cared for. We will miss Brittney’s dog house very much.

If anyone out there is looking for a place that will love your four-legged fur baby like it was their own. Brittany‘s dog house is the place to go not only do they do doggy daycare. They have boarding and they do grooming. I have done all three and you will be incredibly happy with either service you choose to use

Brittney is spectacular! I brought my puppy to her daycare over a year ago and just recently used her for boarding with my 2 dogs who are 1 and 3. My younger girl was a rescue from Mexico and she is very cautious around everyone but she loves dogs, I told Brittney my fears as we would be over 5 hours away with no cell service and she took excellent care of my babies. She helped me out when I didn't bring enough food and she kept me updated with pictures as a bonus! Great prices and always a great experience. so grateful to have a place i trust my dogs to go.

Brittney is amazing! She’s been watching our 3 dogs for 3 years now. We have her drop in on our pups on days my husband and I both work, we also have her help out when we go on vacation. She’s also dropped everything to take one of our dogs to the vet when my husband and I couldn’t make it. I couldn’t recommend her more. Our dogs love her. She’s super communicative and sends us lots of pictures when we are on vacation. We know our dogs are in good hands with her.

Brittney is literally the sweetest person! I searched high and low for a place to let my baby boy Boston have someplace to hang out at during the day while his Dad & I have to work. He is a 7 month old rottweiler that isnt neutered, so not a single place would even bother to acknowledge him or agree to meet him because he didnt meet their "requirements." Well Brittney didnt even hesitate to invite him over for a meet and greet with her pack of pups to see if Boston would fit in with her crew. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and how much she cares for her pack. My boy has been going to her place for daycare for about 2 weeks now and I cannot be happier about how excited he gets as soon as we turn into her lane. He sees her and he goes nuts, that's how I know she is amazing. Because dogs know when they are loved and cared for, and will show it ❤ She sends me updates (because I'm one of those hover moms that worries about everything) and even sent me pic updates to put my mind at ease. if you are looking for a place to bring your pup to burn off some energy, look no further. You will not regret trusting Brittney with the care of your pets.

My Doberman is very temperamental. They take exceptional care of him at the Lodge. He came home with a girlfriend after his last stay so, his father and I will be talking about boundaries. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. We love Canyon Pet Lodge.

Our two medium dogs stayed here for a weekend out of town. We were able to bring the boys bed, toys, and blankets to make their stay more comfortable. Quintin was very thorough with checking the boys in and reviewing our online profile for the reservation. We also received daily report cards with photos on the boys days. We plan on using them in the future and referring them to our friends.

Teeto loves his Canyon Pet Logde family. He gets excited everytime I tell him he gets to play with his friends. He has become very socialized with the exposure to other dogs, and has stole the hearts of the staff. He will not be going to any other doggy daycare or lodging facility.

We have been taking our lab Max to CPL for about 5 years now once a week. He knows which day of the week we take him there. He squeels and runs to his leash. The car ride there he can hardly contain himself. Yes our dog let's us know this is a place he wants to go! We have also boarded him there along with our 2 cats Callie and Dixie. They take such great care of them while we are away on vacation to a place that does not allow pets. If rather have them at CPL than having a pet sitter. The cat area is away from the dogs with nice large kennels. They even play relaxing music so the cats cannot hear any dogs on the property.

Canyon Pet Lodge is our dogs home away from home! Our 2 Pugs love their play days during the week and also occasional overnight lodging. They have been guests at the lodge for over 3 years and also are groomed by an expert groomer, Olivia, every couple months. We highly recommend Canyon Pet Lodge in every way!

These guys love my dog. He's a Golden doodle and he's kinda sensitive... I see how comfortable he is with them, which tells me he really likes being there. Every single person I've met has been incredibly kind. I know my dog likes being there, and loves the people, which is the most important thing for me. And him, of course.

Honestly the best place for boarding your pet. Fair rate, easy to make a reservation. The staff is so great with our retriever, he loves going there. I'm always so comfortable knowing he's well taken care of when we are away. My favorite is the pawgress report we receive with pictures of his stay. Also they host fun paw-tays every now and then.

I really like that I was able to receive pictures and updates on my two dogs while I was out of town. Gives you peace of mind when you can see them and what they are up to. Everything was really easy to set up and get them booked. I feel as though the appearance could be a little more inviting but everything else was great. And from what I could see it looks like they separate large and small dogs which also is a plus in my opinion. Thank you guys again. I would recommend.

I really liked Canyon Pet Lodge for boarding my dog. He had a great time during his stay, and was definitely worn out after (which is hard to do for a 2yr old boxer)! I also appreciated the updates and pictures that they periodically give. I will definitely be bringing the puppy back for future stays and daycare!

Somehow my one star review was deleted after they overdosed and almost killed my dog with Ivermectin. I don’t recommend leaving medications here. My vet even waited after hours for me to make sure my dog didn’t have permanent brain damage and was going to make it through the night. Very dishonest that you somehow found a way to delete 1 star reviews. I hope you removed those sharp rocks that were lacerating multiple dog’s feet. I noticed all of those peoples reviews with pictures of their dogs injuries were removed as well, including mine. I never even got an apology. I got married and had a name change. That is why I am not in your system.

I’m so grateful to have Val in our life. She accommodated my dogs in last min decision for boarding. She is very organized and detailed oriented. She is very passionate about her work and she provides best quality care. She quickly response to my messages and she keeps me updated at all times. My dogs love her and always excited to see her. She also live so close by which is super convenient. I highly recommended her and I definitely going to take my dogs again for day care!

Val is amazing!!! She recently cared for my puppy that is super challenging and did a fantastic job with her. She also cared for my recently departed malamute many times. Val is responsive, caring and clean! Her home is well kept and she is great about social distancing and hand hygiene. I highly recommend her for both boarding and daycare.

Able services has been a gift to find! Valerie is a remarkable, kind, loving person who is gifted at taking care of dogs. She loves my dog like her own and even calls herself his godmother!! I even put her as his second emergency contact because I trust that she would take care of my dog like her own. She is incredibly flexible with dates and times and has been able to accommodate every request including holidays. She even picks my dog up from my home in the morning and drops him off. Her ability to transport has helped me tremendously for dog care. Her pricing is very reasonable. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Valerie and Able services. They also can provide yard work and cleaning which I’ve used in the past. Valerie is only able to perform excellence, and I know my dog is not only safe but he’s happy when he’s at her place playing with the other dogs.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Val is absolutely incredible with my Australian Shepherd. I work 24 hour shifts and having him be with Val while I'm at work puts my mind completely at ease. She sends fun pictures and updates throughout the day so I get to see my little baby playing with all his friends :) Val is very easy to contact and quick to respond. She makes it so easy! I've been bringing my dog here for a few months now and wish I would have found out about her sooner. I'll be a returning customer for a very long time!

Val is such an amazing person and a great pet sitter. She also is very good at dog behavior and understanding how they react in situations. I think she is a dog whisper. I was concerned with my Boston wanting to attack other dogs. I took her to various trainers over the years and nothing worked. After going to Vals she now doesn’t always have the desire to attack other dogs. She has been watching my dogs for several years now. I can always rely on her short notice and she is always available for advise when my pet is sick or not behaving. Her house is set up very well for our fur babies and all of my pups love going to her place for stays. I am a first responder and can always count on her if something happens to me she will take care of my babies. There is no doubt in my mind she will take good care of your fur babies. Plus, she is great to work with in general. She has a good heart and is extremely compassionate and genuinely cares for both you and your fur baby. I am excited for all of you who are reading this review and going to have her care for your babies. She will do a great job.

I rarely write reviews online but I cannot say enough good things about Val and her kennel. Val does an amazing job creating a fun space for dogs to exercise and feel at home. I always feel confident leaving my pup, and he always comes home clean and tired! If you are looking for a dependable, professional, and local kennel service, Val and Able Pet Services is simply the best around.

Able Pet Services honestly deserves 10 stars! I had a difficult time finding a daycare the met my dogs needs so I was pleased to have a referral from a gentleman i met at the dog park. Most daycares are overly crowded or not large enough to accommodate my energetic lab. Able Pet Services provides an environment in which my dog can burn off her energy, play with other dogs, be outside in the sunshine (weather permitting) and receive personalized attention. I receive photos and videos throughout the day detailing my dog's day. The owner Valerie is very flexible and laid back and you can tell she loves what she does. Able Pet Services will be my go-to for daycare and boarding moving forward. Thank you Valerie!

Boarding our dogs at Val’s makes everything so easy!! Our pups love going to see her!! She does such an amazing job of making them feel at home and safe when we are away. If we ever have a concern, she is easy to contact. Best dog boarding in Washington!!

Great place to board dogs for the day or days, weeks, etc. Also, great for grooming. My dogs love the staff. Dogs have been going there since they were 8 weeks old. They're now 7 1/2

I have been taking my dog daisy to bark central scene she was a puppy. They treat her like if she was there own. So when i just got another dog pepper. I did not hesitate to think where she will go. They also do amazing grooming work. I would not go anywhere else or trust anyone else with my fur babies.

Our dogs love going to Bark Central! The staff there always remember our dogs no matter how long it is and accommodate our dogs special needs. Our dogs are not always the easiest to deal with but they take wonderful care of them and they always have fun there! They post pictures on Facebook so you know what your pet is up to! Highly recommend for daycare, grooming and boarding, even for the most protective and spoiled dog parents! Very reasonable prices.

I had my Sheltie’s teeth cleaned there without anesthesia. They did a great job and treated my fur baby like one of their own. Highly recommend them for this service.(A vet and tech did the teeth cleaning at the location)

My husband and I both work from home the majority of the time, but occasionally need to go in to the office which means we also are occasionally gone all day, on the same day. Bark Central’s drop off daycare (without an appointment) is a lifesaver for us. They always separate the big dogs from the littles (ours is only 8 lbs), and we love seeing pics posted on Facebook. Our dog has also been groomed here, by the same groomer, since she was born (she’s 2 now). We love this local business!

Bark Central is amazing. My puppy LOVES daycare! He is sooo excited every day he goes. He has been going since he was almost 3 months old to now and will continue to go there :) I can tell the staff truly care for the pets. Their prices are fair and location is great for us. Makes me happy to know my puppy is having a great time playing with friends and staff all day instead of home alone while I am at work. Highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal!! I have brought my dog Maya there for Daycare, Boarding, and Grooming countless times and the experience has always been superb. I believe the team really goes above and beyond to ensure pets are greatly taken care of and you can really tell they are passionate! Went today for an anesthesia free doggie dental for 2 of my hounds, whom are only 3 and 4 but had some bad tartar build-up. Wow wow wow, I was left speechless at how wonderful of a job they did! Their toofers were so clean and white again! Its such an affordable option, specially if your dog just needs a cleaning, compared to a full dental. Personally putting my dog under anesthesia is super nerve wrecking and if its not necessary I like to avoid it so this again was just a great option. Not to mention the office staff, they run a doggy daycare aswell which I can't comment on, but I can say from what I witnessed/heard I know they love the dogs there and your pet is in great hands! Great experience and I'll definitely be back yearly to keep up on my dogs' dental health!

If you are in need of a doggy day care, then this is the place for you!! We had a week long family vacation planned and this was going to be the first time that we would be away from our girl, Summer. I was overly anxious about leaving her at a boarding facility because that's just not an environment she's used to being in. But thankfully, we found Jordan at Connie's Cottage! Jordan ensured a wonderful experience right from the beginning! We scheduled a meet & greet so Summer could get familiar with him and the area before we dropped her off. He listened to our concerns about our first time being away from her and had no problem staying consistent with her food additions and allergy medication! Immediately after dropping her off, we started receiving pictures and updates of their adventures! Jordan would consistently send pictures throughout the day of her on their multiple walls, local dog park visits, and even when they were just hanging out at home. It was such a relief to know that Summer was with someone who genuinely cared for her and had her in an environment that was more like home! Jordan even offered to check our mail for us while we were gone! I just absolutely love that this is a local, family owned business. I highly, highly recommend Jordan and his family if you are in need of doggy day care! We will absolutely be lifelong customers and will go back for all of our doggy daycare needs! 🐾🤎

Leaving my dog with a boarding facility/pet sitter has always been very difficult for me because I get super anxious being away from him especially with him being a rescue and he hasn’t had the best past experiences. But let me tell you, Connie’s Cottage is AMAZING. Jordan is so welcoming and does what he can to make sure that every dog is comfortable and happy and feels as much at home as possible with an open concept where they have free roam but are also NEVER left alone by themselves. You also can expect MULTIPLE pictures throughout the day while on vacation to show the little adventures or walks they are taking or just updates in general which eased my mind so much. My Brody can be quite the stubborn dude but has the biggest heart. I wouldn’t trust taking my dog anywhere else in the future. Brody had a blast and met so many new friends and explored all kinds of environments during his stay. I HIGHLY recommend using Connie’s Cottage Dog Services to anyone, whether you’re an anxious pet parent like me, or just in general for boarding services and other services they offer. I will always be taking Brody and other future pets here in the future!🩷 Thank you so much Jordan and Cottie’s Cottage for making this vacation so much less stressful and for caring for my best friend🩵

I can't say enough good things about Jordan and his family. They took amazing care of our two pugs while we were out of town for a week. Jordan was super communicative, sending daily photo updates via text (sometimes more than once a day). I enjoyed seeing my derpy dogs having fun exploring new dog parks and becoming temporary members of the "pack." Jordan had no issues with one of my dogs needing a pill with each meal--I appreciated that it wasn't a hassle. Towards the end of our trip the dogs had minor ear issues which Jordan immediately alerted me to so that we could address it when we got back and in the meantime he was proactive with ear cleaner. I highly recommend Connie's Cottage. The 100% 5-star reviews are well deserved. Good vibes all around. Thank you Jordan for taking such good care of our pups!

Jordan and Donna were prompt, professional, and flexible with scheduling. In particular, Jordan was incredibly generous in our first meeting to see if my dog would be a good fit. His attention to detail, knowledge of dogs and social interactions exuded confidence and showed that he was above all dedicated to the well-being of the dogs. I could see this was a labor of love, and not just a business interest. Our dog was initially very scared, but by the end of the day he was very happy and I could tell he was comfortable with Jordan and had a wonderful time with the other dogs. My experience with Jordan has been nothing but the best! I’ve been through a couple of day care facilities and dog sitters with my dog. More often than not, he comes back smelling like urine or not getting enough exercise. With Jordan, he comes back smelling like he did when we went and his exercise has been off the charts. I have a fitness tracker on my dog and his average daily activity when being with Jordan is 5 hours! My dog went on multiple walks and park time during the day. If you’ve ever seen Jordan out at Ft. Steilacoom Dog Park, you can tell that he knows what he’s doing. He knows how to get all the dogs to listen and follow him while still paying attention to every single one. Jordan’s communication with me has been wonderful! I’ve gotten multiple photos every time my dog goes out and the photos are of great quality. Jordan is really great at giving updates. I will continue to use Jordan’s services for my dog!

Jordan is excellent. Great with my pup and consistently very professional. Runs on time. His service is different from standard dog daycare. How he does it is so much more on the relationship with the dog. With walking… lots of walking, park time, sitting, training, and love all kind of rolled in. I have been very impressed. My dog loves being around him and his pack so much that it is even a bit of a challenge to get him back in my truck (in a good way). I trust this guy very much with by dog and will not hesitate to take him here again anytime I am working in the area.

Jordan is the best! My husband found Jordan over a year ago on Rover. We were looking for someone to walk them daily while my husband and kid’s were out of town and I had a long work week. Here we are a year later and he still comes three times per week. My dogs wait on the couch looking out the window…we call it Jordan watch. We have boarded with him a couple of times. We always joke that our dogs prefer him to us. Needless to say you won’t regret using Jordan for dog care! And he takes the best pictures!

Took the pups for an overnight at Connie's cottage before we go on our vacation in a month. I have checked out probably 100 places and visited a dozen or more. I'm super cautious about where I board them and do not want to worry about my fur babies when I'm gone. Jordan sent many pictures of their walks and updates. I feel very comfortable that they will be well taken care of with plenty of exercise and not just put in a kennel. When they came home they were exhausted. I also love he has dog CPR training and plans in place if anything may happen. Glad to have found a place my 2 pups can go and feel at home, cuddle on a couch and have plenty of exercise. ❤️❤️❤️

Jordan is amazing! He does it all, walking, sitting, boarding…. I think my dogs would choose him over me. Bella and Cubby are better behaved because of his care. 5 stars isn’t enough.

Jordan has been an absolute asset to our family! He took wonderful care of our elderly pup Daisy, providing peace of mind to us while we were working. Went to check it out for our dog, welcoming, friendly, cared, clean, they have dog or cat daycare or over night and grooming!!!

They take care of Koa like he is their own. He's been boarded here twice and have never been disappointed. Whenever we are on vacation and ask how he is doing we get an immediate response with pictures and video clips of him. He loves it here... He is always so calm when we pick him up.

Desiree at Shaggy Shack took great care of our Labradoodle when he went in for grooming, and he came back looking great. This is definitely where we're taking him.

Kicker has been attending daycare here for over 4 years now. We love it. He is such a happy boy when he knows we are doing down the long driveway to the daycare. Thank you for always tiring my puppers out. He sleeps well after daycare.

My husband and I dropped off our dog for 4 nights. She was well taken care of and we got a full report from the staff on her stay when we picked her up. She's so tired from all the playing, she had a blast! She's usually a timid dog but at the Shaggy Shack she felt right at home! Thank you guys for taking such great care of her! The Shaggy Shack Pet Resort and the staff are amazing and provided such a great experience for my dog, Eliza. This was a new experience for Eliza and she gets nervous, however, Eliza stayed there multiple days and was so well taken care!! The staff obviously not only love dogs but are amazing at interacting with the dogs and making sure my slightly anxious dog was grouped with calmer dogs her size. I was so pleased she was able to enjoy some socialization without feeling overwhelmed. I think she had fun with the other dogs and the great staff! Charles was fabulous at keeping me apprised of her experience and I feel completely comfortable with leaving Eliza in such great hands. The staff and owner care about these dogs as individuals with their unique needs and seem to have an instinct with helping each animal to ensure they have the best experience possible. I highly recommend this well run and caring environment for anyone's pets

Shaggy Shack has been great for our puppy since day 1. He's an ACD and has a ton of energy. We use Shaggy for daycare to help him get the exercise he needs during the work week. They love him like their own and he comes home exhausted. The staff is great and friendly and we've had great boarding experiences there as well when we've needed. It's like a second home for our pups!
