Our fur-baby Rocky recently stayed here for 17 days. We'd 100% use again! From drop off to updates, photos and collection, their service was flawless. He's a one and a half year old intact male American Akita. Rocky's booking was refused at a few other local kennels due to his breed, but Gay Dog were confident and capable of looking after him! It was his first stay in kennels and away from home. They ensured he settled in straight away and thrived throughout his stay. The moment we left Rocky in their care we knew he'd be safe. The updates we received were heart warming and reassuring. Plus lovely to see photos of their walkies! We were very impressed during collection, the team were lovely and Rocky was immaculate! We expected him to smell of dog and be a bit grubby but he clean and tidy! We will definitely be using Gay Dog again when going away. P.s. My beautiful dog Lazaro and I have just moved to East Hampshire a few weeks ago. I travel a lot for work and cannot always bring him with me - sometimes I need him to be looked after for a day, sometimes a few days. I drive 35 minutes to get to the kennels and it is worth it every time - it's easy to find and has good parking. The reviews online is what encouraged me to try them having had a negative experience further down South. From the first trial visit I have been very impressed with the staff - everyone who I have met has a genuine love for dogs, they take very good care of him and already knew his name on his second visit. The booking process online is very convenient, the check-in process is very thorough each time regardless how many times you've already been and you get lovely, thorough updates. You're welcome to bring your own food and they stick strictly to your preferences, e.g. my dog is a large breed and at risk of stomach bloat, which has happened to us recently somewhere else! I shared this concern with the staff and was taken very seriously. It is also very well priced and cheaper than some surrounding kennels. Lazaro always comes back very happy AND very clean which I am always impressed by. We will be using the kennels going forward having had several one day stays and nearly a week long stay now as well. 10/5 service!

Absolutely brilliant kennels! Have used them on a number of occasions for our two Japanese Akita Inus. Our male can be very wary around strangers so we were a bit worried the first time we dropped them off but not only did he take a particular liking to Cody, one of the male staff members, but in later visits he now loves all of the staff members. They are always super friendly and helpful and gave us updates and pictures to help reassure us the first time we used them. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a dog kennel and very reasonably priced for the level of service they provide.

We were recommended gay dog boarding kennels from a few friends. We felt at ease from dropping Bruce off to collecting Bruce a few days later. We got an update reassuring us that Bruce was having a good time and getting lots of loves! Will definitely be using these again. Thank you for taking such good care of him. =)

Our dog Monty enjoys his stays at Gay Dog Kennels. The staff are always cheerful and look after Monty really well.

We drive our dog up from Cornwall and drop her here on the way to Heathrow because they take such great care of her. The groomer is great too. We really trust and are grateful for Gay Dog Boarding Kennels. Peace of mind is priceless!

Went to work experiance here years ago & it's not changed a bit, its a Fantastic kennels, just picked my girl up & I'm very impressed with how well they manged her especially being a high energy working breed malinois, she has lost her voice as im sure she was constantly barking for attention 😏.. for my girl not to have a upset stomach is rare as she has a very sensitive tummy, she obviously very much enjoyed her stay booked in again later in the year 🥰

Livia has been walking our dog several times a week for the past 6 months and we couldn’t be happier with the service she provides and the care and love she shows our dog. She is incredibly responsible, well organised and flexible and we have utmost trust in her. Our dog leaps off the sofa when she hears Livia’s van arrive and is always so happy to see her.

Livia did an excellent job catsitting my cat Oscar for 10 days. She was reliable, attentive, and took great care of him. My boy was well looked after and got plenty of playtime. It’s always a bit strange ‘leaving your furry baby behind’ when on holiday but she provided plenty of updates so I felt at ease. I highly recommend her service for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet-sitter!

We booked Livia for the first time when we went on a ten day trip around Christmas. We were a bit worried because our cat can be quite difficult. He is anxious and hates most people but still doesn`t like to be alone for long and likes to play. Livia`s calm nature put him immediately at ease; you can tell she is experienced with animals. She had no problems with giving him his medication, which he hates, or his rather specific food prep. We had her come over twice a day. Our boy seemed happy and relaxed when we got home. Glad to have found someone we can trust with our baby, and our house keys.

Livia has been brilliant. She is professional, honest and reliable. She gives our dogs a proper walk and takes good care of them. I trust her 100%. Highly recommend.

Amazing service with great care. In our time with hilltop we had our little toy poodle Sunny ☀️🐕 have a training boarding experience and in his 2 weeks he gained lots of useful skills such as toilet training and commands along with confidence to interact with others. Sunny cannot wait to go back and see all of his new friends!!! A true happy camper

From the first moment we met Steph and the gang, we knew Hilltop would be a home from home setting for our boy and over the past year, we have used the day care facility and overnight boarding several times. We now have two Chihuahuas who love going on their little holidays at Hilltop, and we know they are treated like part of the family when they are there.

I absolutely love Hill Top! We're a regular to doggy day care and my pup is shaking and crying with excitement as soon as I turn down the road! I send my dog to Hilltop several days each week and he loves it! Lots of activities for him to do, a group walk during the day and a garden to run around with his dog mates too. Steph is fab with him and does a great job of making sure that he enjoys his time there as well as putting footage of his day on instagram so I can see what he has been up to for the day.

Hilltop provide excellent home boarding for us when we go on holiday. Highly recommended.

Phil worked with my dog to build up his confidence in being taken for walks (after having had another dog walker where he'd developed a fear of the van). Not only did Phil build up Otis' confidence, he built up mine, with photos, video clips to show me how Otis was progressing. Otis loves Phil and when I was taking Otis for a walk, I got dragged over to Phil by an excited Otis. I couldn't recommend highly enough!

I have had Phil and Alex look after our cat Peter for a number of years when we've taken a short break. We're always kept updated and know that he is safe hands whilst away. Would recommend.

Alex and Phil took great care of our cat Jamie while we were in Devon for the week. We were impressed right from the initial meeting where Alex was extremely thorough and Jamie seemed comfortable around her straight away. They went above and beyond, even cleaning up the remains of a mouse and putting our bin out for us, and we absolutely loved the daily report card on our return. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend to family & friends! We'll feel a lot less nervous about going away now we know we can trust them to look after Jamie for us (:

Many thanks to Alex and Phil for looking after our two cats Millie and Scoots for a week. Both cats are quite timid, especially Scoots, and have never been looked after by anyone outside of family who they know. It made a huge difference and was very reassuring to know that they were looked after in their own home. The daily log of their activities was interesting to read as it showed Phil had a real understanding of their true characters. We would highly recommend this service.

Great service from lovely people. I met with Alex before we went away and immediately trusted her to look after our cat. Our cat is very shy but was happy and content when we came back and coming home to a daily report card we knew she'd be cared for well. They also kept my chilli plants alive so very grateful for that! Would definitely recommend.

Alex and Phil provide a brilliant service, are friendly, reliable and often flexible when we need to change plans or book in last minute! Thoroughly recommend Petpals Basingstoke. Our cats are much happier being able to stay in their own home whilst we are away as well.

Phil looked after our cat Oscar for 15 days. It was our first time using Petpals and I wouldn't hesitate in using them again. Kept us updated with a daily log and came home to a contented cat.

Our 2.5 year old cockapoo Dusty has been walked (and loved) by the Petpals Basingstoke team for about 18 months ago and I can't recommend them highly enough. The care and love for the pets they look after is so very clear and Dusty gets stupidly excited just hearing the van turn up outside. Even though we've worked from home fully over the last year we've kept the walks as they are great socialisation and good for her happiness! So great to know that they can relied on, supporting at really short notice without any complaint and always making the dog number 1. Absolutely recommend to all!

So happy to have found Petpals Basingstoke. We have just came back from an 8days holiday and needed a reliable pet sitter to look after our two 20-months old kitties. The thought of leaving the cats by themselves was pretty nerve racking and cattery wasn't an option for us but Alex was fab. Came back to 2 happy kitties, as if we had never left. Highly recommended.

We left our 2 kittens with Alex for the whole weekend - 2 visits daily. They were both on medications so it wasn't an easy decision. Alex came to meet the kittens few days before and was keen to know their characters and habits. We also received text messages on Sat to confirm that they both eaten their medicines and they are doing fine. Over all - very pleasant and professional service.

We have entrusted our beloved Jazz to Sam many times when we have been away and needed someone to care for her. We have never used a boarding kennels and wanted to find someone who would love Jazz as much as us and treat her as one of their own - and that was certainly Sam. Jazz has been welcomed into Sam's home and treated to wonderful daily walks with her own pooches and those that have been boarding or cared for at the same time. Sam is attentive to Jazz's needs, ensuring that she has been completely comfortable and safe and also reassured us throughout our absence by sending us regular photos, videos and updates. I would have absolutely zero hesitation in recommending Sam and her Home Boarding for Dogs. Believe me, your fur baby could not be in better hands.

Polly always enjoys her holidays with Sam - a real home from home experience. Lovely walks, treats and doggy friends. Sam is highly experienced and I trust her implicitly.

I collected my dog Jess from Sam today and was worried she wouldn't want to come home!! Jess spent the whole weekend being thoroughly spoiled and completely at ease with Sam and her 'family'. Sam sent me lots of pictures of Jess having a great time! I would definitely take Jess to Sam in the future as I know she will be well looked after.

Albus is my first dog and I always thought before he came home that we we just pop him in a kennels and off on our holidays we would go, how wrong was I. Like some others Albus is part of family and he has free run of our home and sleeps on our bed. After visiting a kennels I knew I could never send him and I started looking for a home from home for him and luckily a friend recommended Bounding Hounds and we have never looked back. Introductions started with a walk for us to meet each other and then visits started with a little day visit where Albus was able to familiarise himself in Rich's house - he happily made himself at home. Albus had his first sleepover at 11 months old, he is now 18 months and has had stayed on a number of occasions and cant get to the door quick enough and start his holidays. Rich always gives regular updates and always replies quickly when I check in. I truly cant recommend Bounding Hounds enough I know Albus is so well looked after and loved like he is at home when he is there, he gets to play with many other dogs when he is there. if you are looking for a home from home then Bounding hounds is the place to go.

Rich really knows how to look after dogs. He has all the relevant training and a real passion. When dogs visit they are provided with a home from home experience. They truly do become part of his family. With Bounding Hounds, your dog is in safe and loving hands.

I cannot recommend Bounding Hounds enough! Our dog raleigh loves going every week, spending time with other dogs, getting all the cuddles and generally being incredibly well looked after. Richard really understands the psychology of the dogs he looks after and takes a great deal of care making sure each one is looked after as the individually need. Also being first time dog owners, his advice and suggestions are invaluable. Truly a top quality service at a very reasonable rate.

We've had our beloved Hobbs cared for by Rich twice this year and we sometimes wonder if he's disappointed to come home! He looks forward to seeing Rich and finds it hard to hide his excitement on arrival! We never have to worry as are given regular texts and photographs of his daily activity (or sleeping) so we can just crack on with our holidays and look forward to seeing Hobbs on Insta or Facebook posing for the camera. I would 100% recommend Bounding Hounds. Rich understands dogs, takes time to know their personalities and is dedicated to making their stay fun and comfortable.... Muddy puddles and all!

I'm thrilled with the service WLPN provided for cat sitting my Luna. She is very timid and runs and hides whenever I have visitors (she's a rescue) but Perri was great with her and within days had her cuddling up on the sofa and playing with her toys! My border collie girl Tala and I highly recommend We Love Pets Newbury. My girl is really anxious and has very specific handling needs which are always met, above and beyond. Her walker is so attentive to her needs, he's really earnt her trust and I am completely confident leaving her in his care. The team are so reliable, professional and adaptable even when walks are needed last minute. I've now used two branches of We Love Pets after moving area and I cannot fault the service.

From our initial contact communication was excellent and we were quickly linked up with Kate who took wonderful care of our chickens while we were away, sending us updates and even watering the plants while she was there as it was a hot week. Can't recommend 'we love pets Newbury ' enough. When we moved into the area we wanted to find a trustworthy & quality service for our new puppy, and were so happy when we found that. We were extremely lucky to be given Kate as our dog walker / sitter. She dedicates every minute solely to your dog & couldn't be any sweeter. The connection was there instantly & we immediately felt happy in her company & Nyla loved her. It makes a huge difference knowing your dog is in safe hands & having quality play time. Julie has always been very accommodating of the needs of our two dogs and last minute changes are never too much trouble. Having previously used a number of different dog walking companies in the area the communication and administration for We Love Pets is by far the best! We were lucky to be assigned Tracey as our regular dog walker and she is great with the dogs, sending pictures and updates after each walk and always communicating with us on the odd occasion she is running behind schedule. It is such a comfort knowing that they are being taken care of so well when we are away at work. The dogs love her and get so excited when they see her which is really reassuring to know that they are having a great time on their walks.

I have used We Love Pets since my cavapoo Roxy was just 9 weeks old! Roxy is nearly 3 now and Kate has been her primary dog walker the whole time. I can’t recommend Kate enough. She loves Roxy and Roxy loves her back! Kate is always on time and always sends me updates and photos of her walks. Most of all I love how Kate genuinely cares for Roxy and enjoys their time together. She is so great at her job and I totally trust her. If Kate is ever away she lets me know and We love pets will always arrange an alternative walker. They are also great at accommodating last minute changes to schedules! I’m a regular customer and have never had any need to look elsewhere. Highly recommend.

Danielle did a wonderful job looking after our budgie. Danielle was very professional, very caring and has a great passion for animals.
