We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.
Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier. She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )
Erin was a great pet sitter who took such good care of little Chino. She was very reliable, kept us up to date with videos/pictures, looked after our home and kept it neat and tidy. She even left a thoughtful gift upon our return and was flexible with our travel plans. We would definitely recommend Erin for anyone looking for a reliable and friendly pet sitter!
Elaine was the best dog and cat sitter I have ever had! She was so loving to the boys, kind, reliable, capable and took fabulous care of my two dogs and cat welfare. Walked them every day and would even sing to them (-: I am so very grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting Elaine and I would recommend Elaine to anyone wanting first class care of pets and home!!! We all miss having her around and wish her a fabulous world trip and safe journey back to the States.
Kuldip exceeded all the expectations we had from a Zeewoi. She took over from another sitter when we got stuck out of country due to a family emergency. A highly energetic person yet extremely organized, she easily matched the energy level of my 2-year-old Border Collie Pavo. She not only exercised him multiple times every day, but even him bought him new doggy toys and treats (much appreciated!). She got along very well with our neighbor and with their combined help Pavo got a much needed doggy bath! With her by my dogs side we were worry-free and able to focus on our family needs. Lastly, she left a pleasant surprise when we came back home. Our home looked squeaky clean and beautifully organized. Kuldip is a gem of a pet sitter and we would love to have her back for our fur baby without any hesitation. I highly recommend her!
Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.
Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!
Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

My raven and Whiskey absolutely love their doggy daycare and they love all the lady's that look after them!
My dog patch loves going to doggy day care,he has so much fun,,the staff are so friendly.
My 2 little dogs absolutely love going . Highly recommended.
Our dog absolutely LOVES going to Scout About. Could not recommend the staff or the daycare centre enough. We have her washed there too and they do an incredible job. Bodhi is always happy to see us but I think deep down she wishes she could stay longer! 50 million stars from us! Thanks guys!
My border collie cannot get enough of Scout About. He started puppy kindy at 4 months old and absolutely loved having fun with Loren, Pammy and the team on Mondays. Now at 14 months, he goes more regularly and practically jumps out the car window as we turn into the carpark because he cannot wait to get in and play. When we have gone to kennels or attended dog parks, Dusty is praised for his social skills and I think this is a credit to Scout About and the exposure and experiences there that have made him the dog he is today. I am so grateful and we will miss the team so much when we move to Perth. Thank you for everything and we could not recommend you enough 🥰
We'd highly recommend Loren and the Scout About Doggie Day Care team for house pet visits. Loren was quick to respond when our holiday pet care arrangements fall through last minute, and the booking process online was very simple. We received daily updates and photos from our pet sitter, Michelle, who was very respectful of our dogs and used various methods to build trust with them. We'll be continuing to use Scout About for future pet sitting :)
Amazing place the dogs are so well looked after.
Loren and her team are amazing, so caring! My dogs love going for their play day. They are exhausted when they get home.
Our fur babies were fortunate enough to have Belinda from Scout About look after them. Belinda not only looked after all their needs but also sent messages and videos to me. Scout about are not only professional but also give time and care to the fur babies while we were away. Thank you Belinda :)
Great place to take your dog to doggy day care, my dog loves it, and when we get home after I've had a long day, he just wants to sleep. Which is brilliant!
Sarah has been a godsend when I got my first working dog and went for the vocal Huntaway, she warned me prior to purchase, I didn't listen. He attended obedience class, one on ones, and was taught controlled play. Steves 18 months now, and although I didn't listen to everything, he's great! So now we have Keith the Kelpie. This time I'm listening to everything she sailys! I've seen what happens when I don't! Looking forward to taking keiith to his first class, and steve to his next! Without her, I would be going in sane!
Sarah has been and is phenomenal with both dogs and their humans. Her guidance, support, friendly caring nature and experience with training and building bonds with your pet is second to none. I have learnt so much and our pixie has come so far with Sarah's guidance. Your pets are in the best hands when Sarah is around.
We first met Sarah when we booked Murphy in for a board and train while we were going away for a week. Murphy is a German Shepherd who was yet to turn 1 and very strong. We were finding it hard to walk him as he was pulling so much. We also weren’t confident with his recall. During the week Murphy was with Sarah she sent messages, pictures and videos updating us on how he was going. When we picked him up and had the consult with Sarah it was amazing to see what she had been able to achieve within the week. We will always be thankful for Sarah for giving us the freedom and confidence to have Murph off lead, and good walking behaviours. Over the last 3 years Murphy has boarded with Sarah a number of times (including a 6 week stay) and he is always very excited to go to her place - he doesn’t even look back for us when we leave 🥹. We have also done some group classes with Sarah which were just as great as her 1 on 1. We trust Sarah to look after our boy as we would 🤎🐾
Sarah is working wonders with us & our fur baby ( who is a rescue dog) Only wish we linked in with her when we got our pooch @ 16 months vs now @ 3.5 yrs . However it's never to late to learn ! Her encouragement , repetition of examples whilst maintaining a positive firmness makes training pleasurable. Soft lead walking is no longer a dream ! Looking forward to group classes to improve dog socialization skills . Think we're onto this !!
I have been lucky enough to have know Sarah as my dog / human trainer for the pasted 2 + years. I have always had dogs in my life but after meeting Sarah my confidence in myself being a good dog owner / pack leader for my now 3 dogs is invaluable. I have been able to integrate a rescue dog and a new puppy into my 1 dog household with the advice and training from Sarah. Sarah is also training myself and one of my dogs to be a service dog for my father who has dementia. Her no nonsense approach is very much appreciated, she works out what is required to help with any behavioural issue or other requirements needed within your household. I must confess it was ME that needed the training more than the dogs.
Sarah works in a professional and friendly way to help your dog be the best dog it can be! I have had several 1:1 sessions with my reactive dog (reactive to dogs, bikes, scooters) to help reduce this, as well as offering lots of useful tips in how to reduce barking at the front door and lead pulling. Sarah has also helped me develop my relationship with my dog to increase her trust and engagement with me. We have attended some group sessions which has really helped me with managing my own anxiety when we are around other dogs. Sarah is always happy to chat and help, even when not at a structured session. We would not go anywhere else.
Sarah was attentive to our story and carefully formed insightful views about Tilly's timidity and reluctance to do things on which she wasn't keen. Sarah handled Tilly beautifully while gently maintaining discipline. Sarah's approach was gentle but firm. We now have a plan and will be hoping for steady progress over time.
Sarah the trainer was a nice enough person, but has a personal bias toward certain dog breeds specifically as she would call it “bully breeds” or Rottweilers. Several times it was mentioned that my puppy was not allowed to look, engage or go near any dog especially the ones smaller than him because the puppies are impressionable. We understand this, but our puppy is 16 weeks old, he’s learning. He doesn’t bark, growl or bite, he is well mannered and listens majority of the time. We were made to feel alienated by having a big dog around puppies, even though he himself is a puppy! This class is advertised from 8-22 weeks, if you have a dog that isn’t the size of a kitten I’d recommend not wasting your money. The class is advertised as doing the below: Managing puppy behavior's Socialization Confidence building Basic fun obedience with a big focus on Recall For 45 minutes of the class you walk your dog around on different equipment which is not suited to all dogs. There is 0 socialisation, as your dog isn’t allowed to look, interact, or meet any other people or dogs (at least mine wasn’t allowed to.) On both weeks we attended the class my puppy’s size was mentioned in a negative way, we will not be returning and would not recommend this class to anyone with a big size breed dog.
Sarah is a fantastic trainer. She worked closely with Yogi my blue staffy to improve his recall, staying on his bed while my toddler throws food on the floor in front of him, reducing reactivity and resource guarding with him and my other dog and at pulling on the lead. We opted for a board and train after a few private sessions and after 2 weeks, yogi came back a different dog. Its insane being able to tell him to sit and lie down and walk to the other side of a school oval before you release and call him to sprint back over to you. He's much better and comes even if hes in seagull chase mode at the beach. It really made all the difference and he had a great time too! Highly recommend using Sarah.
Awesome dog trainer. Sarah is very professional and her knowledge and experience is outstanding. My gsd is very quick to follow her instructions and expertise. He's thriving everyday with sarah and at home. Thankyou so much
Coralie and Ralph looked after our home and blue heeler, Zeus, for just over 2 weeks while my husband and I went travelling. We loved that we got regular updates and videos of him having a blast going for walks and playing ball (his favourite!) - it made us feel at ease knowing he was happy while we were gone. Unfortunately, just prior to us arriving home, Zeus picked up a bug and became unwell but Coralie and Ralph wasted no time in getting Zeus into the vet so he could be checked over and treated, keeping us in the loop the whole time. Even with us arriving home a day earlier than expected, the house and yard were immaculate and Zeus was on the mend. I can’t recommend Coralie and Ralph enough - they treated our boy as if he were their own which is exactly what every pawrent wants! We will be back in touch next time we go on holidays. 😊
I can't recommend Ralph and Coralie highly enough. We have trusted them to look after our family dog, cat, chickens and house and we can go away stress free knowing they will keep an eye on our property and feed our pets. They are passionate animal lovers and will look after your pets as well as you would. I will never use a boarding kennel or cattery again. The rates are very reasonable and I feel we get great value for our money.
these guys are amazing at their work. they are clean and organized. they are loving people, extremely nice and inviting. really recommended
