My Belgian Malinois puppy Poppy loves DogSpot!! She is a high energy, very social dog and gets so excited when we arrive at DogSpot she literally pulls me in the door! Staff is wonderful too (Kayla, Adrienne, Mags, Michael) - friendly, helpful and clearly like dogs. I just recommended DogSpot to a coworker. Thankful to have a place where my dog can have fun and burn some much needed energy!
DogSpot is just awesome! Best staff! Our dogs lose their minds when we yell “Let’s go to DogSpot!” And they always come home happy and exhausted. The staff has always bent over backwards for us and we appreciate them all so much. The boarding is no-drama and great. They take great care of the dogs. 100% highly recommended! Great team and a great place!
I have a border collie mix named Cali and she is my wonderful energetic pup so I knew I needed to get her a good day care. I’ve dropped her off here for overnight stays three times now and every time I’m blown away with how patient and kind the staff are. Leaving your pup when you have to leave town or work late feels awful but the staff here are so kind and really do take care of them. She has sensitive feet and they not only kept an eye on her but would send me updates when I asked and even when I didn’t and it made me feel so much more at ease while I was away. If your pup is social and loves the dog park this is such a great place for them
For the three years I lived in Oceanside I took my dog Runa here almost five days a week. Typically Runa hates being away from me but she was always excited and wagging her tail the minute she walked through the door. Everyone in staff is wonderful and I can’t count the times they went above and beyond to provide quality service to me and my dog. Their hours are fantastic and their rates are really good especially if you do the monthly package. They have webcams so you can always check up on your pup and see how they are doing. Since moving I still haven’t been able to find a doggy daycare as good as dogspot. So if you are in need of a place for your pup to be looked after while you work or go away, look no further.
If you’re looking for a new day care or boarding facility, look no further. These guys are fast, professional, and understand dogs. Adrian is always easy to work with and very responsive. I drop my dog off with every confidence that he will be safe, well taken care of, and happy and exhausted when I pick him up.
I was excited to try this doggy day care and boarding as it is close to my home. Dog Spot staff was very friendly and accommodation of my 4 month old puppy. I had her boarded up there for 4 days.. They told me they would send me update photos during the duration of the stay….I received none…..they told me they would take her out every few hours to go potty in the grass (as I am currently training her to do)…i was watching the cameras and saw her go potty several times in the yard and not once taken outside. My experience was not the best although pricing was fair and staff very friendly. I will be searching for a different daycare/boarder moving forward.
Dogspot is an amazing place. The staff is awesome. The attention and care Dudley gets when he is there is priceless. I know he is being well taken care of and in a safe place. I can’t recommend their services enough. This is a picture I received from the staff letting me know he is doing great.
I love that I am able to check in on my puppy with the video cameras. I do however wish there was more things for the dogs to interact with like astroturf or pet beds. The attendants are always monitoring the dogs and taking time to play with them and pet them which is nice as well. The area is also kept very clean and hygienic which I appreciate for the dogs’ health and safety.
BEWARE! This place is frightening and they absolutely lie. They lie about what they offer. They lie that small dogs will be kept from large dogs. They lie about how many attendants are with the dogs. They lie about he cleanliness of the facility. The irony is, I watched on video daily that urine and feces laid on the mat, that no one was attending to my little guy. My dog suffered there, they forgot to pick him up and the manager got on the phone and called me a liar about the pick up. We've been to several doggie day care facilities and NONE have asked for insurance run case your dog gets injured. My dog trainer relayed that several of her clients have had negative experiences here. If you need doggies day care check out the Animal Keeper!
We recently took our dog here for the temperament test as we are looking for a place to board him when we go on vacation for a week. Everyone here was super friendly and seemed well engaged with the dogs and the customers. I love that they require this temperament test before they will watch your dog to make sure he is socially polite and knows how to behave. I truly cant say anything bad about this place besides it is not for us. They had 60+ dogs all in one play pen area when we visited and they mentioned it was a slow day. They have seen it north of 90 dogs and they can take up to 150 dogs a day. I dont see how that is physically possible as it is not that large of an area. The dogs all get along and they have multiple trainers in there interacting with the dogs to stimulate them and ensure there are no fights, it was just too chaotic for a week long boarding for our liking. We were interested in the board and train for a week and asked if we can speak to a trainer, as we have gone through 2 other rounds of board and train with our main trainer, but we were told its $35 to speak with the guy. Honestly, that is super weird. We didn't want to discuss any behavior issues or get any tips but we were more curious on what it entailed since we were first time clients at this place. If we are going to pay for board and train for the week, we would like to know the services we are paying for before we agree to them and that shouldn't cost $35 to find out. Like I said, super nice people, facility was clean and cant say anything bad about it, just not our cup of tea.
We had our young dog in daycare full time until I started working from home. Now a year and a half later I am so thrilled to be back. I love the staff and the care my dogs get during their time there.
Dog Dayz is the best and I never worry about my pup when shes there. The fantastic staff is so kind and knowledgeable, and they really care. Great facility and even have solutions when she had some leg problems and needed to be on restricted exercise. Daycare and boarding and so easy to book!
This review is long overdue. We’ve been using their services for a couple of years whenever we fly out of state. The staff are great and very kind. We used to meet Anahi, who was especially kind and took great care of our dog Daisy. It's a fantastic place.
Dog Dayz has been a great experience for us and our 1.5yr old Husky pup. We found Dog Dayz a couple months ago and appreciate their timely responses to email reservation requests, their pup assessment/ orientation process and quick return response times for the many follow up questions I ask. Our high energy working breed pup comes home thoroughly exhausted each visit (6 visits so far) and still continues to get excited each and every time we pull into the parking lot. We've even noticed better (less spastic excitement) leash behavior from our pup on our daily walks when other dogs are seen along our route- now that he has regular pup friends to play with at dog dayz. Would definitely recommend you check them out if you're looking for a new pup daycare.
The girls Annie and Heather are great, but I can’t say anything else about the care. My dog got a rash from there and he learned how to bark all day for attention. I called the trainer there she’s busy and no groomer after a 4 hour day……This was a horrible experience had to take a week off just to get my dog back on track.
Morgan did a great brushing job on my curly golden doodle, lasted longer than usual. Thank you Dog Dayz for always delivering a fun and safe environment for Bruno!
Bonnie loves going here. She is so excited the entire way. The staff is attentive and great with the dogs. They understand the Great Pyrenees breed and they are very helpful. I appreciate the staff and the opportunity to attend such a great facility.
We’re frequent users of their do it your self service. They have four raised tubs and all the necessary shampoo and grooming supplies. For your protection they have plastic aprons. The staff is always friendly.
Just a good feeling here, vs other dog care. Yes, lots of dogs. Yes, it isn't home. But the staff loves Annie and she actually goes willingly! Fair prices. Easy hours for drop n grab.
Love love love Dog Dayz and our pup does too! Everyone is so kind and patient and treats the dogs as if they were their own.
Jolynn and Rich have been giving exceptional care to my dogs since 2008. They have faithfully walked, played with, stayed with overnight, and loved my dogs for 15 years! I recommend them to you without hesitation--they are trustworthy, kind, and the best people to give daily or overnight care. Call and entrust them with your furry friends--you will be glad you did!
Circle of Friends Pet Sitters has always provided my dogs with excellent, loving care—and this gave me peace of mind whenever I was gone. If I had to contact them for dog care outside of my regular schedule, they worked hard to accommodate my request. I value their services and unhesitatingly recommend them.
Circle of friends has been our go to for taking care of our cats for the last 10 years. Gino, Alley and Jake have been well cared for when we were away.
