Lola, our bernedoodle, loves staying at Golden Wood. We started taking her to daycare once a week when they first opened. She loves going and is always excited when we pull in their driveway. We have boarded her there several times and never have to worry about her care. Lola stayed at Golden Wood over the Christmas holiday. We hated to leave her but knew they would take excellent care of her. She would have a good time playing with the other dogs and would also enjoy the “extras” we picked for her. Golden Wood offers extra amenities for your dog during their stay.We usually get cuddle time and chicken/rice dinner. I recommend Golden Wood for daycare and boarding. The place is clean, staff is caring and they offer added amenities to ensure your dog is pampered. We have always been extremely happy with them.

Abby, Steph, and the staff at Golden Wood were so kind and sweet to my dog, and were very responsive and courteous to send me updates. It was his first overnight stay there and they made him feel loved and sent me lots of pictures of him happy at playtime. Grateful for the peace of mind while I was away, and thankful for a safe place where he got to play outside with other dogs and kind humans who made sure he was cared for. Highly recommend!

Nelly girl loved boarding at Cozy Canine for (8) years. It was her second home. Her first experience at Golden Woods Tract Road in January was also positive. She socialized with her canine pals and engaged with the supportive staff and came home happy but sad to leave her new friends. Just like Cozy, Golden Woods treated her like their own and learned to give her time/space to get acquainted with staff and dogs. They were very good about providing me with updates while she was with them. I am so pleased that she can continue boarding with Golden Woods.

We stayed a week in our RV at a local Gettysburg RV park and wanted a day camp for our two Labradors. Cozy Canine was a great place for our dogs to play and become wore out by the end of the day while we explored the local area. Sharon is wonderful to work with and the facilities are very nice. We would highly recommend her for taking care of your furry friends.

I highly recommend Elizabeth with Perky Paws Pet Sitting. While we were on vacation our 13 year old lab's health deteriorated. Elizabeth kept us in constant contact as to what was going on the entire time. She even agreed to spend the night and stay with Chester until we would arrive home the next afternoon. I can't tell you how good it felt to know that someone was there with our "son" loving on him and taking care of him just as we would have. Perky Paws service has been a blessing to us.

Elizabeth and Cody consistently go above and beyond. I've had a few last minute requests and they were flexible and accommodating. They send thorough updates and plenty of pictures. I completely trust they treat my Penny as their own pet. They let me know what they do when with Penny and how the visit went. I have cats too and I don't pay for services for them, but they sometimes with play with the kitties too - they send pictures of them too. Also, they have brought in packages on the porch and any literature left behind. I don't believe anyone else would provide such outstanding services. I'm very happy with Perky Paws.

My wife and I highly recommend Perky Paws Pet Sitting. While we celebrated a momentous occasion away with family, Elizabeth checked on our three Shubunkin goldfish, fed them, and wrote us an e-mail two days in letting us know all was well with our fish and our home. We had peace of mind for our five nights away and came home to a sweet personalized note right by our fish tank. Our "friends", as we affectionately call them, required less adjustment than usual from our absence thanks to the attentiveness, care, and compassion from Perky Paws.

We have been having Elizabeth from Perky Paws check in on our babies for the last three years. Hannah and Rusty love her. They get excited when we tell them Elizabeth will be here to see you. Hannah has a seizure disorder and Elizabeth is great to make sure she gets her medicine. We wouldn't want anyone else taking care of our babies.

My husband and I recently moved to the area. We were very nervous because we have two very spoiled special needs rescue dogs. We read great things about Cody and Elizabeth and we are thrilled to say that they have exceeded our expectations. They go above and beyond not just for the dogs but doing things that affects us all.

5 stars is not a high enough rating. Elizabeth adores her job and it clearly shows in her work. I had to travel extensively for work (on the magnitude of multiple weeks straight), and not only did Elizabeth meet the expectations set in her contract, but wildly exceeded them. What drew me to her services were the professional layout of her websites across all media platforms, the cost competitiveness of her services (boarding my pup in a kennel would have, in my area, been as or more expensive), and the fact my dog could be in the comfort of his own home while I was away. The first consultation was professional and loaded with questions I would have not thought to answer without being prompted; it showed me how thorough she is and how seriously she takes this responsibility. Although the first consultation eased my nerves significantly I was so nervous leaving my dog for as long as a did, but after the first few days I knew he was in good hands... Elizabeth sent updates (not to mention pictures!) frequently throughout my visit. My dog is near impossible to get a good picture of because he's loaded with so much energy (until he's thoroughly played with, when he's exhausted and finally sits still haha), yet every picture I received (there were a lot! :) ) was of him happy and smiling for the camera. It showed Elizabeth didn't just come to feed/let him out/play a bit, it showed she gave him full attention her whole visit and, more importantly, showed the immense amount of love she gave to my dog also. The last point is the most important because that kind of service is priceless. It's also important to note that the house was in immaculate condition when I came home. Everything was exactly where I had left it (despite my dogs tendency to try rearranging ;) ), with a thoughtful note left on the table waiting for me. That in itself made coming home much less stressful than I had been anticipating. :) Elizabeth was also extremely accomodating with working with my neighbors (who normally watch my pup for short visits) and my family on his care. It's obvious that she always puts the care of her pets she watches first. In short, Perky Paws Pet Sitting deserves the highest of ratings.

Elizabeth and Cody do a fantastic job. I really appreciate them helping me out with short notice. They truly love pets and I don't know what I would do without them. Poco, Max, Charlie, Roxy, and Cooper are fans too!

Anyone else have trouble getting a response for a service request? Per the site requests are responded to within 48 hours, however I never receive any response. Not so much as a "No". I also make sure to check my spam so not sure what the issue is. My best friends of almost 20 years love and trust Perky Paws and have been using them for the past few years with their lab that passed and with their newest addition. So, this is not a slam just a curiosity as to what the issue could be.

Lisa took care of our dog Floyd a couple of days (Sept. 2020) while we were preparing for a wedding to be held in our back yard. Floyd seemed to enjoy his stay and according to Lisa he also enjoyed supervising as Lisa and her husband worked in the yard. :> Lisa sent pictures with updates and even took him to Doubs park for a walk.

We are so lucky to have found Pawz n Clawz Pet Service. I honestly think my dog loves her more than me. She communicates with any issues and send me pictures.

Lisa was absolutely wonderful. Lulu had her own vacation while we were on ours. She and her husband treated her like she was their own and I never had any worries. We got updates on Lulu’s stay along with pics. I highly recommend Lisa to make sure your pet is well taken care of and loved.

When we were out of town for more than three days, we would always have Urbana Pet Care to take care of our two cats. The sitter would help to change water, clean the litter, play with our cats, and send us photos. The sitter was really responsible and provided great service!

Best pet-sitting service ever! We were not satisfied with our previous pet sitter and were reluctant to try another. I then browsed the website Yelp and found Urbana Pet Care, which was highly recommended. My husband and I decided to give it a try. We just had our first pet sitting engagement with Urbana Pet Care last month. The staff showed genuine concern and care towards my pet, which in turn made me feel more comfortable having them take care of my pet. Rice was amazing with our cat Catty and texted detailed updates with pictures every day to us, making sure that we were at ease. It's always great to get updates about your pet while you are away. We were very pleased once again with Urbana Pet Care, and would certainly recommend them based on our experience.

I have used Urbana Pet Care for a few months to take care of our two doggies🐕🐕 when we go out of town. We always have someone from the Urbana team stay at our house so we don't mess with their routine. Recently we went on a 2 week cruise to Italy, France and Germany and left our pups to the sitter Rice. He emailed us pictures of the pups having fun and laying around every day, letting me know how my doggies did in their daily walk😊. I also appreciate that my home alarm system is always reset properly and the door locked every day. Makes me feel safe knowing Urbana is responsible for both my pet and my home. My neighbor also recently told me that she saw my dogs out with her new walker the other day and my doggies looked like they were having a great time🎉🎉🎉👍! Thanks! We hope Rice is available when we go out of town next time!!😊

We started using Urbana Pet Care’s midday dog walking service two years ago so our dog can take a bathroom break everyday while we are at work. The team has been doing great ever since! The walks are always on time and the walker is really friendly - my buddy loves her! And when there is an emergency, the team always has back up. Recently we went on vacation and were unable to bring our dog. So instead of boarding, I tried their in home pet sitting service for my dog and to take care of my cat also. It was great, I received pictures and updates from every visit so I didn’t have to worry while on vacation. Overall, they always keep us updated, are very efficient at communicating, and are a very nice team to work with. Highly recommended!

We requested cat pet sit service during our vacation time. We receive a video or image update for each visits and the sitter follows the instructions carefully. Everything went well and they deserve a 5 star rate! I will be back in touch for my next trip with Urbana Pet Care.

Top-notch pet care!🎁 I was soooooo lucky to meet Urbana Pet Care, the best pet sitter I have found in the area, hands down. I have a British Shorthair & also several cats.🐱 The cats are strictly indoor & my biggest fear is that they will somehow get out while the front door is being opened/closed, as they are curious creatures. But Urbana Pet Care exceeded my expectations and took great care of my kitty every time. My little puppy always seemed happy when I would come back from my works or trips, which is proof that the pet care specialist would actually take the time to play with her, to brush her and give her attention. I can't recommend Urbana Pet Care enough if you're looking for a great cat sitter or dog walker with reasonable rates who will give you peace of mind!👍👍👍

Rice to the rescue!! We had to leave town overnight without notice and worried as we have a little dog 🐶that we were not willing to leave with strangers or in a cage at some boarding facility. We asked our friend and he recommended Urbana to us. We then called Urbana and asked if there was any way they could help. 📲A few minutes later, Rice, the owner, was on the phone and even insisted on driving us to and from the airport. ✈️ Rice welcomed our doggie into his own home 🏠and sent us updates and pics every few hours. So incredibly relieved to have been able to tend to an emergency without having the stress of worrying about our little one!🆒 I am thrilled with Urbana and will definitely offer a recommendation to anyone with pets. 🤩🤩Rice and his team have done a wonderful job. They love animals, and they know how to take care of the things you'll be worried about before you even get a chance to worry!👏

I can’t rate Casey’s services high enough! We needed an in home pet sitter service while we were out of town. Our cat was very well cared for, his litter box and water dishes were clean, and she took time to play with him and give him treats. I would absolutely request Casey to care for our pet again and highly recommend her!

Casey is wonderful. She did a meet and greet with our dog first, made sure she got along with other dogs. She was able to watch her for a day just one week later and was really flexible with timing. When we picked up our girl, we could tell she was happy and she was way less anxious than when she is in the crate all day. I definitely recommend Casey for your fur babies!

Casey takes awesome care of my two cats! They are both quite skittish, but Casey has won their trust. She's been super at keeping the house looked occupied when I'm away by bringing in the mail, changing lights on/off, whatever it takes. I recently had to have unexpected surgery and Casey agreed without hesitation to check on the cats with only 24 hours notice. Definitely the best pet sitter I've ever had!

Best place ever. Only place I'll take my dog. She treats them all so calmly and like they are her dogs. Mine loves it there. They can run in house,lay on sofas or go out in the large yard and play. I called and needed to come extra early, she was so nice about it. I give her name to everyone. All the dogs running around and whatever time you go ,the place is always clean and spotless.

After reading all the information on their website regarding their boarding services I reached out to see about scheduling just to be told they don’t do boarding? On the website alone there is information not only on dog boarding services but cat and exotics too. Unfortunate.

Deb loves dogs!! We’ve taken our 3 dogs to her for about 6 years and they’ve always done very well with her. She has the amazing ability to ease the dogs’ anxieties and make sure that they all get along. They are always happy and healthy when we see them. Deb has a large, fenced back yard where the dogs play together. And they really enjoy it! The best thing is that Deb sends you pictures of your dogs so you can see how they’re doing. I highly recommend TailWaggers Inn for your pups!

We are so lucky we found Deb when we moved to the Frederick area 2 years ago. We have left our 3-year old hound mix Marlo in her care many times for as long as one week. Marlo is a energetic and playful pup and we can always expect a small group of like-mannered dogs for him to run around her big, fenced-in yard with. He always comes home happy and exhausted. Deb has helped us through some behavior issues (pee marking) with her experience and patience. We can always expect daily updates and photos which is so important. Marlo loves Tailwaggers Inn! Highly recommend.

We are so happy to have found Deb. It was clear from the initial consultation that she loves dogs and has a solid system for acclimating her fur guests based on their own individual needs. Deb cared for our two fur babies for nearly two weeks and kept us updated with regular pictures and insight into how they were both settling in. They came back happy - and even more well socialized. The hour-long drive to her place is well worth it, and we are already planning our fur babies' next stay!

We were wondering who would watch our Winston, a 17 year old toy poodle, when we went out of town for a week. Most of Winston’s life he had spent vacations at the home of friends, who owned Winston’s mom and dad. Recently they relocated out of state and we were nervous about finding a pet sitter. Deb put us at ease from the moment Winston had a meet and greet at her home. She truly went above and beyond in providing tender loving care for our beloved dog. We are grateful to know Winston has found a new home away from home.

Deb is absolutely AMAZING. My dog loves going to debs house while at other dog daycares I can tell that she is nervous heading in. At debs the minute we walk inside her tail is wagging and she is ready for me to leave so she can play in Debs huge yard with some of the other pups!! Deb is a wonderful and caring dog host. My dog, Sierra, has two speeds, off and FAST, so she can be a bit of a handful. She had a great time at TailWaggers. We also got photos and updates that eased my anxieties about leaving Sierra at a new place. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

So disappointed. We had been taking our dog to Deb for the past year and a half and had got to know and trust each other. However, as soon as money became involved, Deb changed in an instant. Unfortunately, two days before our dog was planned to stay with Deb, we had to cancel our trip due to a family member being sick with Covid. We gave Deb an early heads up that this might happen, which was met with a warm and understanding reply. But then when we did end up canceling, she requested that we provide "proof of COVID" to get credit for a future stay. If we could not provide proof, we would only get 50% credit. Not only was this completely insensitive from someone running a small business based on trust, but it was also a huge surprise. In spite of how Deb kept saying this was written on her website, NOWHERE could we find this policy. After messaging Deb several times to request a full refund and being ghosted, I wanted to write this review to warn others. This is really sad because I had previously written a positive review and recommended her to others. All I have to say, Deb, is I hope that $355 was worth it because we will not be bringing our dog back to you, and I will no longer be recommending you to others. So sad. As another review put it beautifully: "lesson learned: this boarding service is still a business despite all the warm facade you may encounter. We have to be the ones responsible for our pets, welfare and wallet."

We started sessions with Katie for our two Dobermans to brush up manners and get them walking nicely. We cannot say enough positive things about Katie, her training style and obvious love of working with dogs. We have had lessons with Katie in home, at her center and at local parks. We love the convenience of the home sessions when needed and the center is wonderful and absolutely perfect for training. We love that she also has met us at parks as training them in an environment they have a hard time with was a game changer. Our pups have come a long way working with Katie and all of the things she has taught us so far have been extremely helpful in getting our girls to behave well. We would HIGHLY recommend Katie to anyone looking for any type of training! Thank you so much Katie, we look forward to continuing work with you!

Very pleased with the care Katie and her crew gave to my 3 cats while we were away. Although It was a few months between first contacting her for pet sitting services, Katie was very proactive in contacting me by email closer to our departure date to inquire if there were any changes to the care my guys would need. I did inform her there were a couple of minor changes and she responded quickly by email. Also the day after the services ended Katie reached out to me to verify that we had indeed arrived home so that there would be no lapse in care. There was a written paper daily pet log that let me know how my 3 did while we were gone. I will certainly contact 4-Legged Friends Pet Services again. Thanks Katie and Alison!

Katie is the best sitter in town! I always feel safe when I leave my fur babies in her care. Not only does she also bring in my mail, but rotates lights and curtains per my request. Plus, there is always a log of visits filled with fun stories of what my babies have been up to! And I also take my dog, Dante, to her classes and he is such a well behaved boy now. Her training techniques are stellar and Dante always looks forward to visiting the "treat lady!" Thank you for all that you do and giving me confidence knowing my animals will be well loved!

My puppy, Nibs, just completed puppy kindergarten in a positive, structured that gave him a great foundation for his future dog performance activities. In my opinion, my dog wasn't given the time to get situated with his environment. He was too stressed out to even begin learning commands. And unfortunately the trainer didn't see this and continued to teach the class with stressed out dogs.

We had problems in the past with other dog sitters. Our black lab is very anxious. He barks and hides when strangers come into the house. Kira and Josh were amazing. They took the time to get to know him and he looked forward to their visits. Most have not been able to do that. We truly appreciated the great care they got while we were away. It allowed us to relax on vacation. We will definitely use them again.

Pet and Home Care did a great job caring for my cat while I had surgery. They came twice/day, provided food and water, cleaned the litter and provided affection. They also provided online pictures and comments to me after each visit which I greatly enjoyed. I intend to use them in the future.

After many months of guiltily asking friends to watch our two rabbits while we’re away, we found Pet & Home Care online. We have been using their service for four months now and I don’t know how we lived without it. They are experienced, dependable, kind, and responsive. Rylee and Tad provided outstanding, conscientious, and compassionate care for our animals. After each visit, they sent us a detailed notification with photos of all animals. One of our cats has to get insulin shots twice a day; for a year, we did not leave him in someone else's care for even one day. After experiencing Pet and Home Care's competent and caring service, we now feel confident that he is in safe hands if we have to travel.

I have 4 dogs and used to always beanxious about going on vacation and leaving them. I have been using pets and home care for over a year now and am always impressed by their service! They do a great job even with dogs that are elderly, reactive, or harder to deal with. They send pictures and reports about the dogs and follow the care instructions very well. Was recommended to Pet and Home Care by Laureen’s Pet Sitting when she moved away. We used P&HC for the first time over the new year holidays. Jack and Jean took care of our three dogs, gave twice daily medications to one, and sent pictures with every update. Choosing a place to trust with your dog can be extremely difficult. You usually know if you've made a good choice when you pick your pet up based on their behavior. You know for sure how it went based on how they behave if you try to take them back to that place. From his first daycare evaluation visit, our dog has shown nothing but absolute joy to go to stay with Pet and Home Care! He perks up in the car as soon as he realizes where he is and he runs right through the front door without hesitation and without looking back for me. We recently had our longest time away and he stayed 2 weeks. I was really concerned he'd feel abandoned (he was a rescue pup). I was so pleased when we picked him up and he was his usual happy self, not seeming to have even noticed how much time had passed. These folks are phenomenal and I am so glad we found them.

Pet and Home Care is a wonderful organization. They cared for my diabetic cat when I was travelling and now they take care of my dog when I'm away. Their care is excellent and I never worry when I leave my pets in their care.

From a management standpoint, Tiffany and Kira were easy to work with. They looked at our set up and made a few recommendations to meet our needs. They also adjusted our schedule, which saved us some money. Very pleased with their services and their rates are reasonable. They followed all instructions, left detailed notes and even sent cute pictures of one of our cats. They also contacted us with questions or concerns. Erica was outstanding. She was attentive, kind and affectionate with both of our cats. We highly recommend and would use her services again if she is available in the future. Thank you!

Charlie loves everyone at Pet and Home Care who's taken care of her which includes daycare, a variety of grooming services, walks, really anything we've ever needed or wanted for our beloved pup. They are so sweet and caring with Charlie, I sometimes worry Charlie likes her PHC friends more than us! PHC has also provided excellent services to help clean and maintain our home. Our lives can get very busy, but Tiffany and Pet and Home Care have been a trusted and valued support system for us for years and have made all of our lives significantly better because we found them. My wife and I can be very particular and picky, so I can confidently say they are the best and couldn't recommend anyone more highly!!!

I signed my 5 month old Mini American Shep mix up for daycare and was very promptly contacted via email to schedule an evaluation day. My pup spent the day at We’ve Gone To the Dogs for her evaluation and I truly could not be more pleased. The staff were not only professional, but extremely kind and welcoming. I can tell the facility is safe and takes measures to make sure everything is organized well. My puppy came home calm and confident and they even sent her back with a goody-bag with treats, a new toy, and a personalized message telling me how she did. Great staff, safe and organized facility with plenty of room to play, and a happy dog. Couldn’t ask for more!

We've gone to the dogs is absolutely amazing , the staff are the most wonderful people . My pup loves coming here and they love her so much . She is so excited to come she jumps out of the car and takes off running the minute I open the door . They are always kind and take such good care of her . I always feel she is safe and loved while here . I love that they post pictures and I can see her having fun during the day . They always update me on how she did and all the fun she had that day when I pick her up . I highly recommend you and your pup will love them 💕

If we even say "Doggy daycare??" to our dog, she runs to the leash and looks at us, and then the leash, and then us, and then the door, and then back to the leash. When we drop her off, she is itching to get out of the car and can't wait to get inside. Photos posted by the caretakers always show just how great of a time she's having. And this happens every single time. It's never easy to be away from our favorite little lady but easier when we know she's living her best life with new and old friends. I can't recommend We've Gone to the Dogs enough.

Ive been using this place for almost two years and EVERY time I drop my boys off here they are soooo excited to go. They run right in the gate and ignore more. I know my pups are very well taken care of because of that reaction. That was not their reaction at other facilities. I also saw a pictures posted on their Facebook page once showed the staff kisses one of my dogs heads, and he hates that and only allows those he trusts to do so. Absolutely recommend!

We were visiting Westminster and needed a last minute doggie day Care. They accommodated us and the dogs had a great time. Thank you for exceptional customer service and providing a great experience for our dogs. Highly recommend this place your dogs will love it

Our dog loves WGTTD! We have boarded and done doggie daycare and each time she comes back happy and tired. We appreciate that she gets cleaned up after messy days of playing. They make the effort to post pictures on their Facebook throughout the day so you can see your pup having fun. We highly recommend!

This place is wonderful! My dog is always happy and tired after a day of playing with all of his friends. I love that he is outside and the I can tell that all of the staff really love working with the dogs. Thanks for taking such good care of my pup!

My dog always has such a great time at daycare at WGTTD. I also know that he's in good hands when I board him as I travel a lot for work. The staff are always as happy to see my dog as he is to see them. Great place to take your dog and their rates are much more affordable than other outdoor boarding facilities in the area especially since there are no extra charges for food or bathing them if they're dirty.

My dogs are happy here! When I bring them home, they are warn out which having 2 herding dogs is hard to do. So thankful they get to play and interact with other dogs when we are away.

Edit: After I posted this review the manager, Fran found it necessary to note on the final invoice. I find this petty and unprofessional and further reason to not send my dog back. Our dog was a weekly overnight visitor for 3 years. Recently all the staff that loved him quit. The care then went dramatically downhill. Came home with mangled nails after someone who clearly had no clue what they were doing trimmed them. One bleeding all over. Constantly has to pee as soon as he comes out. So bad that he barely can hold it. We were loyal and faithful customers for three years. I would never send my dog here now. Not only that the reason the staff quit was due to non payment of time worked.
