Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!
Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Sharon was by far the best sitter I’ve ever had! From the very first time we connected, she was communicative and proactive with follow up. She asked great questions prior to her stay and I could tell she’s done this many times and that she genuinely cares about the pets and homes she cares for. Sharon went above and beyond to leave my house in ever better shape, cleaning and organizing. It was a dream to come home to! Thank you Sharon!
We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.
Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

The only people/place I will trust with watching my fur baby!! My dog would NOT do ok with typical boarding. He has some anxiety and it would not be good. He does best at home in his own safe space. I know when I go on vacation and have to leave him that he is getting the best care. Reno loves Logan! And now Jackie too! They always come on time. And give the best attention to Reno. I always look forward to all the photos!! I come home and swear my house looks cleaner than when I left 😂 Jackie also SAVED tons of my breast milk when a fuse to my deep freezer went out when we were out of town. She went above and beyond to find and run an extension cord to it. Pretty sure that’s not in the job description. I will never have anyone else watch Reno!
As a dog mom I want to make sure I give my dog the best care. I feel safe taking my dog here for her grooming. They communicate very well and will text you when needed. They always get me in anytime I have needed. Highly recommend taking your fur baby here! I appreciate all the staff and how well they love on my pup when she comes in!☺️
Jackie and her crew have watched our cats multiple times over the last year or so, and everyone has been so wonderful! The first time, we were taking a long trip and two of our older cats had conditions and needed multiple medicines 2X a day. I was incredibly anxious leaving them for so long, but they did a great job making sure they ate and giving them their meds along with providing some TLC, and sending me lots of updates. It is such a relief knowing they will be so well cared for when we have to leave them. Everyone there has been so accommodating, understanding and kind. I'm very grateful for all their help!
We always hire Paw City Pet Care when we are out of town because they are all we could possibly ask for and more. Recently, my husband and I were gone for almost two weeks, and Stefan and Jackie came by every day to feed our five cats, administer medicine, scoop, and they always found time to play with the cats and take pictures of each one for us. We know our pets are loved and cared for with Paw City. Thank you for all your hard work!
Have used them for two dogs grooming and also petsitting 3 cats and I'm very happy with both. The woman who takes care of my young, skittish, doodle is the so good with her. She got Sophie through changing groomers and it was only Sophie's 3rd time visiting a place & she was probably NOT easy! The man who came to my home for a week and a half and took care of THREE cats followed every detail & I've got very detailed ways that we manage that many cats. Also one was on medication at the time. Very impressed!
Bre and Hannah consistently make grooming for my little a positive and happy experience. Having a reactive dog means needing people who are patient and understanding, and they have always taken their time to keep him safe and looking good. Communication is good and scheduling is easy. Don’t hesitate to take your dog here!
When my overnight sitters weren't available, I reached out to Paw City Pet Care to care for my cats and roosters when we had to go out of town. They completely exceeded my expectations! Not only were they so kind in accommodating us on short notice, but they worked with me to find a schedule that worked with everyone's routine, were willing to care for our roosters who needed special care, suggested an automatic feeder that made things easier for all of us, have an awesome and user-friendly app that allowed for easy communication, AND best of all, sent amazing and detailed updates and pictures after every single visit. As someone who is extremely anxious and worried about leaving my animals, it is so difficult to find trustworthy and quality care. Because of the reasons listed above, I felt calm and relaxed while I was away. Shelby was communicative, responsible, and kind. I'm ecstatic that I reached out to them and will absolutely be using them again!
I am very happy with Jackie and her team of groomers!! Jessica groomed my dog Levi twice now and I am not only very happy with his grooming but the calm quiet atmosphere. Levi loves Jessica and very comfortable with her! We look forward to grooming every time!💙🐾 …
Jackie with Paw City Pet Care is amazing. She let us know at each visit how things were going and as well as photos of the dogs! They also looked happy and comfortable. Jackie is trustworthy and I was very comfortable having her in my home. She is meticulous, detailed, honest, and offers affordable pet sitting services. Even our Cat who does not like strangers came out for a welcome pet! I would use her services again. Definitely a five-star service! Mike and Donna Finn and Buddy
We love Paw City Pet Care! They always do a great job pet sitting and grooming for our dogs. Bre and Hannah at the Grand Ledge grooming salon are excellent and always make our golden mix look so good after his groom! Stefan was great for cat sitting last summer. And Jackie is fabulous- always on top of our pets needs and very helpful in both pet sitting and grooming. Would recommend them to anyone!
*Former employee here sharing as I see they are hiring again* (dog mom input in the last paragraph) I was there for 2 months (Sept-Nov 2022) and received no training other than how to properly clean. I was not taught anything about working with dogs and keeping them safe. I never left on time as there was always something I needed to do to earn my right to leave. I was scheduled to close at night and open the next morning multiple times (10 pm and 6 am) despite explaining that due to medical reasons I need more sleep than that. I also had surgery while working there and my accommodations and restrictions were not respected. The leash they require you to purchase is roughly $30 I believe and the uniform shirts are very expensive as well. (I’m not sure the price for certain as I had already quit before the order came in.) They definitely care more about the dogs than their employees so take that as you will. I’m hopeful that these things have changed but I wish I had gotten input from an employee before starting. *Input as a fellow dog mom* The way that they group the dogs seems to work very well. I didn’t witness any serious injuries during my time there and I think they are definitely doing everything they can to keep the dogs safe. Sometimes they seclude dogs by making them a single but do not inform the dog owner that their dog is spending the whole day in a kennel. My dog can be weird with men and the male employee worked a lot with her to improve this. I got a super cute “first day of school” picture on her first day! It’s very affordable in my opinion. I know how happy this place makes my dog so I’m hoping to give it another try.
Don’t bring your dogs here if they need special attention. I have a Doberman and a husky that require lots of support when socializing and if not given should be separated from the pack. I brought my dogs here and was reassured that staff could cater to their needs. When I picked my dogs up they were the most anxious I have ever seen them and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Both were shaking in the backseat until we got home. I talked to staff on the phone and they claimed this was normal, though I decided to not bring them back because they were so dismissive of concerns about catering to my dogs needs. I ended up taking them to another daycare in the area that has lots of outdoor areas and was able to cater to my dogs needs and they were so much more calm when picking them up. Definitely look for another doggy daycare if your dog needs extra attention has certain needs. It seems like there is no communication here and the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing and there is a complete lack of follow through with individual dogs needs. Attached employee reviews from Glassdoor that gives a behind the scene of what’s going on.
I’d give zero stars if I could. I hope people actually read these before considering sending their dogs here. The first few times my dogs came everything was great. Dogs were super tired out afterwards and it was nice. Then they got kennel cough, not once but twice. They “need to be up to date on bordetella” yet they’ll still get kennel cough. On top of that, they removed my dogs AirTag from his collar which was incredibly suspicious. They claimed it was a “choking hazard” but it was up against his collar and his collar would have to be ripped off of his neck in order to get the AirTag off. And why in the world would I be okay with dogs ripping at my dogs neck? Did not go back after the second time. Recent events have made me realize I didn’t really have a choice but to schedule them for boarding this weekend. When I called the first time the girl was REALLY rude. I want to say her name was April but I can’t remember. Talked to me like I was incompetent because I was trying to schedule one dog in at a time so there was no confusion. Told her I would call her back so I could see if there were any other places that could take them for the weekend. When I called back the second time to schedule, it was another girl I spoke to. Also REALLY rude. I started off with, I just called, I’d like to schedule them for this weekend. And she says “okay????” After much thought, I’ve decided to change their daycare/boarding place where I feel they are safer and taken better care of. They’re rude to you, they’ll make you feel stupid, and your dog WILL get kennel cough regardless of whether or not they have the vaccine against it. Please, there are better places to take your dog.
I wished they sent some more photos. My dog had a condo.
We have taken our pup to Nana N Paws since she was first old enough to go to daycare and continued going to Nana N Paws the past 2 years until we unfortunately moved out of the area, otherwise, we would’ve continued bringing her! She LOVED going to this daycare, it was evident in how excited she would get when we pulled in the driveway! As a first-time-dog-mom, myself, I am quite protective of my girl, and we completely trusted Nana N Paws to take care of her. She went multiple times a week for daycare and stayed overnight on numerous occasions. We could always trust that she would be in good hands, receive the care she needed, and overall have a great time! I could really feel that the staff loved her and that made it really feel like a family unit for us. I would definitely suggest Nana N Paws to someone looking for a safe and reliable place to bring their pup/s!
Im so upset they treated my dog like he was mean and vicious, left him alone and away from other dogs. WISH I COULD GIVE THIS A 0 STAR REVIEW!!!!!
Had our puppy Tatter stay over for a couple days when we went to a wedding. He had an awesome time, staff seem loving and caring. I will recommend this place to who ever needs someone to watch their dog. We're going to take him back for training lessons! Can't wait to see his Improvement
We were there for a tour because we plan to board our dog there for an overnight, and we wanted to check it out first. The staff is very friendly and seem like they really care for the pups they have there. They also have a good play program for them. I think our boy will enjoy his visit. I'll post another review after he actually stays there.
We loved taking our dog to Nana N Paws! He is so tired when he gets home and the staff are amazing with him.
The office staff needs some socialization. My dog seems to have a good time there so I have to assume the staff that works with the animals are better, but we will not be doing business with them again any time soon. Drop off is almost always a negative experience dealing with unpleasant front desk staff. Time to give some of their competitors a try.
