Had our dog cared for at fairly short notice. Nicole was lovely. Came by to meet our dog. Sent us some lovely photos while we were away. Everything done as promised. When she dropped the key back to us our dog was so excited to see her.

Pawshake was a lifesaver allowing us to go on our trip as planned. Our pet sitter was fabulous providing photo's and updates daily. She was friendly and helpful and definitely put our minds at ease. The website was easy to use making the whole transaction a breeze.

We booked Pawshake pet sitter for our cat over the Christmas holidays. It was a real positive experience we found trust worthy, reliable sitter to come our house to look after our cat. Pawshake was a easy way to find and book a sitter. Communication through was excellent and the Pawshake website and App was easy to use and navigate.

Shadow was beautifully looked after at short notice. He came home happy and exhausted after playing with Zoe. We'd also done the meet & greet with another carer who was also lovely, but the timing didn't work unfortunately.

We loved the Pawshake experience. Reviews helped us trust the choice and the system of meeting first between booking was good. Great day care while we did tourist and family things.

I left my doggy for the first time and she was so well looked after. A shout out to Monique, my dog sitter (from Pawshake) who is such a dependable person. She took great care of our pet and was constantly in communication giving us feedback and taking on board our requests.

Love Pawshake!! Our holiday plans changed last minute and we could not book our Pugalier into the kennels he usually goes to, or find any that had availability. Came across Pawshake and booked him a stay with such a lovely pet sitter called Amanda. He was totally spoilt, had so much fun with her dogs, had visits to the beach, and we were sent videos and photos everyday. He was very well looked after. Paulette is the only person I would trust outside of my family to look after my fur baby. My little toy poodle (9yrs old) absolutely LOVES her and the other little dogs she looks after! He loves her so much that we ran into her on the street the other day and when it came to saying goodbye, my dog wanted to stay with her instead of coming with me hahaha! He stayed with Paulette for a couple of weeks when we went o/seas last year and he was soooooo well looked after! He also does daytime doggy daycare visits which he loves...he drags me toward her house when he realises where we are...definitely a good sign! If you have a small dog I would highly recommend Paulette...she’s such a sweet person and gives nothing but love to the doggies in her care!

I am really happy to have found Paulette and her doggy day care. She is so attentive to Howie, who was a shy puppy when we first took him. We get regular updates when he's there and his socialization has improved immensely! I think we will going for many years to come.

I had a 'high needs' older dog, Simba, who I had brought home from Europe at 13 years. Paulette was Simba's [and my] guardian angel. I do not know how I would have managed a busy, demanding job and cater for Simba's needs. Paulette was loving and attentive, and trust worthy. Simba loved going to her place and I could go away and know he was loved and cared for and safe. I cannot recommend her enough.

My cats were so well looked after Paulette! They are normally so fussy but when I got back after a week they were all over her. I would trust her again to look after my cats anytime. :)

The only place I trust with my many puppers

This pet sitting platform is seriously broken. I spent 3 weeks trying to withdraw my money from my pet sit. You can't speak to anyone. The 1300 number goes straight to voicemail and NOT one person calls you back. You go onto the website and it says request a call back at a certain time and date. NO ONE calls you back. You email and you just go around in circles. IT issues that never get resolved. You even try and delete your profile yet another IT issue. You can't escape even if you try! The only way I got my money back was I researched the CEO and guessed her email address. Low and behold I got an instant response and withdrawal straight away. I paid 19% commission to this company that did absolutely nothing!

This is such a poor platform compared to Madpaws. Every time I do a sit for them I have to chase and chase them for payment. It's ridiculous. The platform has extremely poor functionality when compared to its rivals as well yet it charges the same percentage. If I charged admin fees on top of each sit I reckon I'd be around $150 a night. It's a complete joke. Seems I'm not the only one who has experienced problems with chasing Petcloud for payment on multiple occasions either (refer to Product Review for other sitter experiences!). Furthermore, the app is completely useless, it doesn't work at all. I have to log in via a PC every time I want to check messages or update anything, which puts clients at risk of not having their services filled to their specifications (it could actually cause a life and death situation for a pet!). Oh and suddenly when I've become so frustrated with them that I write a one star review, I'm paid in a matter of minutes (after five working days' wait and much obfuscation saying there's nothing they can do) and I'm booted off the platform and have no record of my income from them for tax purposes. Thanks Petcloud!

PetCloud service was easy to use and we found the perfect sitter last minute. After the initial meet and greet, we knew our beloved hound was in very good hands. The sitters were kind and welcoming and they took lots of pictures and kept us updated. There are many reputable sitters on this platform so you'll be sure to find someone compatible for your pet and budget. Highly recommend.

PetCloud = peace of mind. We needed three dogs cared for in our home for a week and finding Cassandra via PetCloud was a godsend. We certainly didn't have time to advertise and vet potential house and pet sitters, so knowing the sitters were endorsed by Deb and her team was very reassuring and time-saving. The customer service from both Cassandra and the PetCloud team was helpful and prompt.

Great experience from start to finish, can not fault the sitters I booked on PetCloud :) They were very accommodating, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! The sitter I booked had their own pet labrador who made a great little playmate for my dog - makes it a lot easier to leave your pet if they are somewhat anxious about being left home alone..this was the first time my 12 month old pup had stayed away from us, and she was so happy I don't think she even noticed when I left!.

I highly recommend PetCloud - it was so easy to find a sitter for my dog Luna for 6 weeks - daily visits and walking. Julie's care for Luna was above and beyond what I could ever expect. Luna just loved Julie's visits and it totally settled her and helped her not to miss me whilst I was away. She looked after Luna like she was her own - that's great piece of mind. I would thoroughly recommend Julie if you need someone to look after your pet - Luna does too.

This was the first time we used a pet sitter, my partner and I were worried to have someone we don't know stay in our house but we saw Anna had really good reviews so I thought she would make the experience easier, she did! Anna house sat for us for a week to look after our beautiful old girl, Bella. Anna did such a awesome job, I don't know why I was so worried! She sent us pictures and kept us up to date while we were away, nothing was to much trouble. She even cleaned the house when she left! Had an excellent first time experience with Petcloud. Emmalyn and Alison house sat Milly and Moki while we were away. We felt very comfortable when we met them and made leaving our dogs with them so much easier knowing they were going to be in safe hands. They did not disappoint and even messaged us while we were away to keep us informed. Would definitely recommend them, and we would be more than happy to use them again.

My claims experiences have always been exceptional, easy and very fast and the customer service has always been fantastic. The only thing I wish their policies offered was Gap-Cover because many other insurers offer this these days, so it would be a bonus but other than that I highly recommend Pets on Me.

An insurer is tested on paying up the claim, rather than on how they charge the premium. Yes, they are relatively cheap - but it means nothing if they don't pay. And I'm happy to report that I had no problem with claiming a specialised surgery for my dog (worth close to two year's premium). It was the first claim for this dog, but I've got all the documents. No questions, no attempts to exclude initial consultations (as I had with some other insurers). The only complaint I have is that the online claim form is just bad. (And it's an online-only insurer, AFAIK). The form is needlessly complicated, culminating in a fixed drop-down list of some 1000 Latin medical terms where I was supposed to find the diagnosis (and still haven't found). But otherwise, no issues. Their insurance is noticeably different to most others (which are usually underwritten by the same company) and includes liability, which is a big plus for dogs.

Incredible service from PetsOnMe. They are very responsive and quick to process claims. Our dog was recently in hospital for surgery and they covered the entire bill and paid it out within 3 days of submitting the claim. Highly recommend!

It's the first time we've had pet insurance, and we have no complaints (other than the price keeps increasing every year). Otherwise we are happy with its coverage, and they pay back really quick after submitting the claim.

We are so happy to have found Sydney Bark Rangers! We use Kate weekly to walk our blue heeler puppy and he now waits by the door daily to see if she’s coming. He comes home happy and exhausted which is exactly what you want! Kate and Jo have also done overnight stays with our pup and it was great knowing he (and our house) were in such good hands. Kate and her team at Sydney Bark Rangers are fantastic. We recently moved from the inner west to the eastern suburbs and had some concerns our dog might struggle given his separation anxiety. Kate provided guidance on this and the doggy daycare/boarding she offers has really helped settle our pup into his new home. I’ve used Sydney Bark Rangers since August 2019 on many occasions including one 5 week period while I was in hospital. My dog, Summer, was very well taken care of and has since then had lots of walks and been minded in my home for the odd weekend and 10 days over Christmas. Very impressed with Sydney Bark Rangers. Kate came over to meet us and collected Twix and her things for her over night stay. I was sent photos of her in the park then later tucked up in bed. Kate brought her back the next day happy and you could see they were great mates. I'll be using Sydney Bark Rangers again to look after Twix.

"Don't Fret Pet" is an amazing service! The team was wonderful in finding the perfect sitter for our 9-year-old anxious fur baby, Mylo, who doesn't do well in traditional boarding kennels. We were lucky enough to be paired with Elizabeth who looked after our 2 x Jack Russell’s while we went to NZ for a wedding. One of our pups has epilepsy and requires a strict medication schedule and a bit of extra TLC, and it was no problem. Will definitely use these guys again!

I was very disappointed in the cat sitting services provided. I came home to a starving animal crying out for food, whose bowls of food were completely empty, and had been empty for over 12 hours. Hairy Poppins do not live up to what they state on their website and do not employ pet sitters who genuinely care for your beloved pet whilst you’re away. I would avoid this pet sitter at all costs.

Novella is wonderful and we know she takes good care of our dog when we go away. It's great not having to put our dog into a boarding kennel and worry about unnecessary vaccinations and disrupting his comfort zone. I would definitely recommend Hairy Poppins for other peoples pets.

Fantastic, efficient, cost effective service - I would, and do, highly recommend Novella and her team to anyone. Hairy Poppins really is all you could need or want from a pet minding service. I have found Novella to be consistently polite, helpful and honest - it was clear from day one that she genuinely wants you to choose the best care for your pets and is there to make a difficult process simple and uncomplicated. Their response time to all communication is fantastic, my initial enquiry was managed within a short window of time which allowed me to confirm plans and travel interstate feeling extremely confident that we were all in safe hands. It doesn't stop there though...I have been given an absolutely fantastic nanny who went above and beyond to meet at short notice, got to know the boys and what they liked, and even agreed to regular cuddles during the days - just because they warmed to her to much! She provides me with text and email updates whilst I'm working interstate which really makes my day! Novella has looked after our pets on several occasions and we are extremely happy with the service and care she provides. It is very reassuring to know your four-legged family members are happy and comfortable in their own home with a genuinely caring and reliable person attending to their daily needs. Novella even sends us text messages while we're away to let us know all is well at home. We couldn't be happier.

Hairy Poppins Pet Nannies have been looking after our pet family for the past 2 1/2 years and we wouldn't consider anyone else. Our cats are always happy to see us at the end of our holiday and look contented and even a little rotund. Novella even watered our tomato plants this time during the heat wave to try and save them. Novella at Hairy Poppins cared for our two cats and two somewhat naughty Jack Russell terriers while we were on holidays on several occasions. On one holiday, we were forced to change the care arrangements from one to twice daily visits. Novella was flexible and helpful. Our pets were always well cared for, which meant we could enjoy our holiday without stress.

Our little boy Billie has been going to Centennial Bark for three years and it is wonderful. All the staff and Thomas love dogs and treat them like their own. Grooming is great also.

Walked into shop and the Bald headed dude was leaning on the fence and starring into space. Came to the counter and I asked in an extremly friendly manner (not at all abrupt) if he would be interested in receiving a sample pack to trial and he just said he was too busy and rudely walked off.. A then returned to his perch on the fence and continued to stand there and do nothing.... Too busy, I don't think so. A nicer response (especially when not busy) would have been something like, "Sorry mate, 8 can't talk know but please contact...., or please come back another r time'...not how bald headed dude reacted... That's just down right rude and there is no excuse.

My dog always looks so handsome when he's been to Centennial Bark! And he seems to really like everyone (especially Holly). He gets very excited when I say "haircut" and always trots around very proud of himself after his appointments.

Tom and his entire team at Centennial Bark are fantastic. They clearly care a lot for the dogs, and ensure that they have an enjoyable day, every day, in a clean, safe, and engaging environment. Having excellent quality grooming available during daycare stays as an optional extra is just a bonus. My only concern is that my dog might like daycare more she likes me.

I went to Centennial Bark for the 1st time today to have my Cairn Terrier Reggie hand stripped. I’d been other places and not always happy as stripping is a fine art but Holly was amazing. Reggie looks fabulous and Holly was brilliant. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My Japanese Spitz is very dramatic and has had issues with some groomers in the past. Having just moved from NZ, we were trying to find a new groomer and decided to bring him to Holly. It is SUPER unfortunate that he decided to be uncooperative when it came to brushing, but Holly didn't charge us for what she had already done! Service is next level, really wished CB was our new regular groomer 😔

Took our long haired groodle puppy who was in desperate need of grooming and de matting following all the rain. We were expecting a fully shaved dog but were blown away with how amazing he looks and how much hair was kept. So very pleased with the service and competitive price. Very happy with the care my elderly dog received at Blayney Barkers Boutique Holiday kennels. Pearl sent me photos of my dog and gave me dog biscuits and car airfreshers when I picked him up next morning. Will use her kennels again.

I just wanted to commend Renae at Deepwater Boarding kennels NSW for the excellent care she took of our 14 year old, (very particular and fussy) Maltese Shitzu , Mr Boots. He was happy, healthy and full of beans after a three night stay playing with Renae’s other small doggies. We will definitely leave him with her again

I don’t personally hang out there because Im a human (bummer) but my dog told me he LOVES the Hound Lounge. It’s where he catches up with all his mates twice a week and makes sure their butts still smell friendly. He also gets so many belly rubs from the wonderful humans who work there! What a deal especially when he’s not the one paying the bill! Luckily the Hound Lounge is very affordable for his humans! He’s even has a BFF called Loki he met there (see the pics) and they love to play and give each other lots of kisses. I know this because I get a cute report card after he visits and they post tons of adorable pictures on their socials. What a world we live in!

If you're like me, you only want the best for your furry lil pal. Well, look no further, because The Hound Lounge are the best doggie daycare in town. My dog has been attending The Hound Lounge for the past two years (roughly 60 sessions), and his excitement when I tell him he's going to daycare has never faded. The team are experienced, caring, friendly, and transparent. All attributes of someone you want to look after your dog. Since attending The Hound Lounge, my dog has improved his communication with other dogs, become more social, and is overall a happier (an exhausted!) dog after a day at daycare. The level of care and attention my dog receives makes The Hound Lounge worth every penny.

My aloof grumpy small hound wagged his tail the other day as I dropped him off. This is a success! While the dog doesn't seem terribly thrilled at being abandoned to doggie daycare every Wednesday, I've found the staff warm, welcoming, understanding and they genuinely care for the dogs. Great evening classes in addition to their wonderful day care (we haven’t tried because I work from home but we get echoes from others in our class who are clients!). The evening classes by Speak Dog offer a controlled and safe environment to achieve all kinds of new skills. Regardless of the class topics, there’s a lot to benefit from having a place to practice calm and self control around other people and dogs. The Hound Lounge is always **spotless** and smells clean, is well equipped and spacious with three different enclosed indoor parks to have different groups of dogs to match similar socialising/activity needs or sizes.

I have not been in a situation with previous pups that I needed somewhere for our pup to be safe secure and loved. He is initially quite timid. We have been sending him to gods Hound lounge since he was fully vaccinated. The level of care and professionalism is wonderful ,as a person that used to train and trial dogs you get a feeling about a place, my feeling for hound lounge is very positive. Could not recommend them enough.

The inner west is lucky to have a place like this. Accepting small to large breed dogs for full day care services including specialised training for the furbabies. Our dog is a regular and he loves going. Very talented staff who are trained vet nurses, advanced dog trainers and all round dog lovers.

Our Lulu has been going to Hound Lounge for 18 months and she loves it. The staff are great and the care they provide is exceptional.

Have completed 3 private lessions with Betty, an amazing trainer with 'Speak Dog' & signed up for more group lessons. We have a very sweet & beautiful but overly reactive, strong & exuberant standard poodle pup. The lessons have been very positive for our baby but made me realise it's the humans that need to learn. Just love watching Betty handle our dog & it all seems so natural & easy but it's like handling our kids, they just don't do as well with their parents. I am determined however that with Betty's expert guidance, knowledge & patience, our pooch will settle & stop breaking my bones! I really appreciate the support that Betty has given us & highly recommend her as a dog trainer. She definitely speaks dog!

My dog is crazy active and hyper when she gets the zoomies. This place is such a relief when there is no one home for extended periods of time, as I can safely drop my pupper off and know she is having the best time (and not destroying the house). My dog absolutely loves the staff (sometimes more than she loves me) and loves her new puppy friends. The staff have always been respectful towards me as a client and are very intuitive with my dogs behaviours (always flick me a text when they are worried that she is stressed/ overstimulated). Recommend this place 100%

The Hound Lounge have been responsible for my dog Sally's training and well-being since she was a tiny puppy - they taught her pretty much everything she knows about how to dog in a busy urban world! They are exceptionally hard-working and diligent, we would not be where we are today without the love and care of The Hound Lounge team.
