Walkeys Day Care has been looking after my golden retriever since she was 12 weeks old. They are amazing with her and she literally jumps out of the car every time we turn up. If you need any day care i would not hesitate to recommend this place and guarantee your dog will be so well loved by all the team and return home happy after a fun filled day.

Our dog Monty loves Walkeys day care and so do we! Its been such a life saver when my husband and I are working long shifts. Its great knowing our dog is having so much fun with other dogs and by the lovely setting they have near the river. Monty comes back so happy and tired. The team at Walkeys (the wonderful Helen, Phil, Vicki, Emily and StJohn to name just a few!) adore dogs and have a passion for taking such good care of them. They have also been so accommodating when we have needed to change plans. Would definitely recommend!!

Vicki, Emily, Philip & Helen are absolute stars! They turn up without fail, give Rocky the chocolate lab lots of fun & love. They all did an amazing job walking Rocky whilst we were on holiday. Nothing is too much trouble, but most importantly, Rocky has an absolute blast at day care ; he loves it and comes home shattered. Total trust in this wonderful team. 😊😊

We have been using Walkeys for the past 4 years for both day care, walking and home pet sitting. I cannot recommend them more highly, they are professional, friendly, very caring and knowledgeable about all things involving dogs. Their passion for animals is very obvious. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time with Helen and Co!!

Our young dog has been going here once a week for over a year now and I can't imagine a better environment for dogs to get their mental, physical and emotional needs met, even for an active working breed such as ours. The team has excellent knowledge of dog behaviour, and have had our dog for many overnight stays when we're away. I never worry about her while she's at Walkeys.

Willow loves going to Walkeys Day Care - I’m sure she knows which day it is because she sits by the front door waiting to go! Helen and her team are amazing - when Willow was poorly they phoned to let me know and suggested a trip to the vets which turned out to be a very good idea. I can highly recommend Walkeys whether you need day care or just want some socialisation for your dog - they’re fab!

I’ve used Walkeys for several years now. My dog gets so excited when he hears StJohn’s car. He adores him. If StJohn is on holiday then either Helen or Philip take him out. He loves them too! If I think the weather is too hot the following week I text them and get prompt responses. The ladies in the office are efficient and always helpful. I would highly recommend. They also provide doggy day care if needed and happy to stay in my house overnight if I have a weekend away. Good all round service!

We have been using Walkeys for a number of years now and they look after our lively, energetic black lab brilliantly. She has been socialised since a pup post the awful covid experience and the expertise, tips and training advice of a Behaviourist Team have been invaluable. Our dog loves going every Friday for the kindness, open rural space and energetic walks she receives. This is the ideal open daycare for our dog and she loves you ALL. Thank you 😊😊

My 4 year old Labrador has been going to Walkeys 2 times a week for the last 8 months and has absolutely loved it. Emily and Vicky are brilliant and always keeping me updated on how she has been, especially letting me know when she hasn’t been her normal self showing that they really do pay attention to the little things. My dog is obsessed with Emily who picks her up and drops her off and always makes sure she’s left with a little treat. My dog comes home absolutely KNACKERED after day care from all the playing, walking and enrichment that they do with the dogs in their care. Can’t fault them and highly recommend if you want your dogs to be out in the open countryside rather than stuck in a room.

We have been using Little Paws to do puppy visits and short walks for our new puppy. Carla is always punctual and I love getting a photo / video from every visit. She has been great at giving Raffie lots of different experiences - playing in the garden, walk to the park, training on the long lead, walking with one of her own dogs etc. I am more than happy to recommend Little Paws and will be using them for doggy day care and home boarding in the future.

We checked our dog Basil in for day care recently. We were nervous as it was his first time away from us but Carla reassured us. She did an amazing job with him, introduced him to her dogs and kept us updated via WhatsApp with messages and videos. Would definitely reccomend!

If you have a dog who needs day care or a boarding service - this is the place you want to send them, The lady that runs it is very nice and polite , the dogs have a very nice time here! And they have a big garden witch the dogs can run around 👍 they deserve the 5 star ! …

We have been using the service for the last few months, for walking our dog in the daytime, I could not fault the service They came and did a house visit to discuss what we were after at the start and are very flexible about times and days. They have very good rules with regards number of dogs and locations they take them to, they generally care about the dogs well being and what works for them. Highly recommended.

Walking Ed’s has been like a second home for our dog for over two years. Lee and Jemma have been fantastic and really gone the extra mile. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Enquired by email and Richard booked the dogs in without us giving consent that we would put the dogs in. I received a call asking if the dogs were coming.recieved a very rude phone call, slammed the phone down, and never returned emails. Great customer service not .

We’ve just picked up our 5yo Boerboel from a long weekend at Downlands. Mikey is dog reactive and can be fairly fussy with people and I could not be happier with Andrew and the team. I called once a day to check in, and was reassured he was happy and in good hands. Upon collection he was very excited and had clearly had a good time. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be using them again.

Our dog is always happy to go, and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The Kennels have also been really flexible with us in the past, having the dog stay an extra night when we were late getting home. Really happy with everything the kennels do, absolutely no complaints

Downlands is the only place I will happily leave my cat. The staff are just lovely, so friendly and approachable. My furry friend always comes back happy and well looked after. His own staycation whilst we not about.

My dog stresses out quite easily and he hates being separated from me, but I have no worries about leaving him at Downlands. They are unbelievably professional and certainly have the knowledge of how to handle all types of dogs. I travel 23 miles to get to the kennels and well, well worth it, knowing he is safe and being cared for. It gives me tremendous peace of mind. Highly recommend Andrew and his staff - they are brilliant.

Mia our labradoodle stayed at Downlands for 4 days, she came back home clean, happy and healthy. The facilities are great, Mia was able to run daily and play ball with one of the kennel staff everyday. Nice to know that when you do have to go away that your pet can be left in such good hands. Great job Downlands!

I have known Amanda for several years as she used to occasionally look after our dog who we sadly lost last summer. We now have a rescue spaniel who hadn't been socialised sufficiently and could be anxious around other dogs. After only a handful of sessions in their wonderful private paddock, we can see Willow's confidence improving. Amanda and her team provide a safe and caring environment for our much loved pets and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I’ve been absolutely delighted with Amanda and her team, having recently stopped working from home and needing support with my German Shorthaired Pointer during the day. Amanda shows the utmost professionalism - she is highly experienced and also clearly loves what she does and does an excellent job. I love getting the photo updates and am convinced my dog is in the best hands. I was worried about leaving her but any anxiety dissipated straight away. We are very lucky and I cannot recommend SOPS highly enough.

Fantastic, friendly and caring service from South Oxon Pet Services. Amanda recently looked after our 3 cats, coming in twice a day to ensure they had everything they needed and keeping them busy with cat treat puzzles and other games. I always worry about leaving the cats but Amanda kept us reassured with plenty of photos and videos. Highly recommend!

I have used the boarding services of South Oxon Pet Services for a number of years now for my two Working Cocker Spaniels. It is great to see the daily photos of my dogs out on their walks while my wife and I are on holiday or when South Oxon Pet Services have them for the day. I can highly recommend their services and have total faith my dogs are in good hands.

I first used SOPS 8 years ago for my Cockapoo Cracker. I was anxious about leaving him for the first time but he had a wonderful stay . It was lovely to see daily photos of him on Facebook while I was away. Amanda and Tony are friendly and easy to get on with and provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for the animals they look after. Cracker and I moved away to Wales a few years ago but I recently used their services again. Cracker made himself at home instantly as if he’d never been away and on my return, apart from being delighted to see me of course, he was relaxed and clearly had a wonderful holiday too. Thank you SOPS. I highly recommend their services to anyone.

Saying THANK YOU is not enough for the service Amanda and Tony provides. We were going away for ten days for the first time since we have adopted Ruby more than two years ago. She is a sensitive and stressed senior girl around anyone new. Amanda reassured us prior our departure that everything will be fine and provided regular updates with pictures and videos through our stay. Ruby seemed to get used to with Amanda and Tony quickly, which demonstrates how caring and loving they are. When we have returned Ruby didn't seemed stressed and she look well looked after and happy. After all Amanda gave Ruby her favorite treats :). They have also ensured that our bins were moved in and out of the property for collection, and even potted up plant plugs when they were delivered while we were away and saved all the plants. I will definitely use South Oxon Pet Service again and will recommend anyone looking for affordable and the best pet service they can have by miles. Thank you both!

Having never used a pet sitting service before I wasn’t really sure what to expect but Amanda exceeded my expectations. Her service was personalised and the care she gave for our cat Ozzi was exceptional. He injured his paw which required stitches just before we went on holiday. This meant he was housebound for a week which he is not used to and is a timid cat by nature. She visited twice daily and administered his antibiotics and took him for his check up at the vets and kept us updated with her fantastic photos and gave us the reassurance we needed that he was in good hands. We returned from our 2 week holiday to a very contented cat and his paw has healed beautifully. I highly recommend South Oxon Pet Services and would not hesitate to use them again. 🐈‍⬛🥰

Amanda has looked after willow since she was 4 months old ,she was recommended by a friend ,willow was a very nervous puppy when we got her and was literally scared of everything and everyone willow was so bad biting all the time and not just puppy biting really biting that we very nearly got rid of her ,Amanda was so good and patient with willow and treated her like she was her dog even took her home to play with her dogs Now 2 years later willow is a different dog so calm cuddly and very loving although she still has some nervoness in her until she trust you then she's your best friend Amanda has been amazing for willow she goes out everyday with Amanda for walks and boards at her house when we go away willow knows when the door bell rings it's Amanda and looks forward to seeing her and her walks if it wasn't for Amanda and all her help and training willow would not be with us now would definitely recommend Amanda and south oxon pet services 100%

Amanda took great care of our cat whilst we were on holiday. It was so much easier leaving him at home knowing he would have visits and be fussed over, than taking him to a cattery. It was wonderful to see pictures of him on Facebook and Amanda kept in touch to let us know how he was getting on so we didn't need to worry! We came back to a very happy cat (we didn't even have the usual post holiday sulk, either!!). Would very much recommend to anyone looking for someone to look after their fur-baby whilst they're away!

Our English bulldog just loves every day he has at Pawfect Playdays. We know that he will come home exhausted from a day full of fun where he can just be himself. We also know that when we go away he will be looked after and treated like family. We are forever grateful to have found Pawfect Playdays.

Our puppy Basil absolutely loves his days being looked after. So much to do and so much care. He comes home exhausted. His behaviour around our other dogs has also improved as he has got used to playing with a whole host of dogs. Brilliant value and brilliant service. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

My Labrador Isla has been going to Jade since she was 14 weeks old. She absolutely loves it at Pawfect Playdays and drags me from the car to the door. She gets lots of stimulation and activities, but also time to just sleep on a sofa, or cuddled up with Jade, Jane or one of the other wonderful Playdays staff. I feel completely confident when she is there and Jade is always on hand to give amazing advice if you need it. She is a very experienced dog owner and has such a passion for the animals in her care. Our pup absolutely loves it at Pawfect Playdays. He’s there 3 or 4 days a week and is always so excited to go. The team keep us informed of all goings on, and they give us regular updates of how he is doing. They are very professional and knowledgeable in their care and set up, I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a doggy daycare.

My Collie pup, Oban, started at Pawfect Playdays in January and absolutely loves going there. Jane & Jade who run doggy day care have been fantastic with Oban and when he goes he can't wait to get out of the car to play with his doggy friends.I feel that the level of care and professionalism of the team means I know he is in safe hands.

We don't use doggy day care often but when we do, our dog has the best time. Jane and her team always welcome Mochi and share photos and videos of him having fun.

Our puppy had a great first experience of daycare at Pawfect Playdays. Jade has an excellent understanding of dog behaviour and makes sure that all the dogs in her care are looked after according to their individual needs and natures.

I can't recommended Pawfects and Jade more. My Boxer just absolutely loves his days there. He can't wait to get there in the morning and is suitably exhausted by the end of the day! My regular dog sitter was fully booked, so needless to say I was quite nervous about finding a new sitter for my furry baby while we were supposed to go on vacation. After intensive search for a new host, I got in touch with Kevin & Crystal from Buddy's Pet Care. Chester usually barks at strangers, needs a bit of time to warm up to people. As soon as we got at their place for a meet and greet, instead of barking he was all kisses and jumps of joy. I realized that Chester will be in good hands during his 3 weeks stay with them. During our vacation, I received updates with photos and comforting words to let me know that Chester was doing great. It was obvious that they care about dogs - loves and treats them as they are their own. Kevin and Crystal are beyond awesome. Thank you very much for putting me at ease and for taking such a good care of our boy. Highly recommended for all the pet parents. 5 Stars review, very well deserved. We have booked already Chester’s stay with them for our Christmas vacation.

Kevin and Cristal are great. Really knowledgeable and lovely - super accommodating. I picked up my two dogs from an overnight stay and they were very happy - they had been brilliantly taken care of and they clearly really like Cristal, Kevin and Buddy! Total peace of mind.

When my parents were unexpectedly taken ill at very short notice, Kevin was able to collect my parent’s puppy and look after him for us, while they recovered. Initially this was to be for a long weekend, and they ended up having Toby for two weeks. Very reliable, and totally flexible, nothing was too much trouble for Kevin and Crystal. Toby has obviously been extremely well looked after, and has come home happy and well. We will definitely use their services again, and recommend to all our doggy friends.

Our dogs love it. They are well cared for and happy to go each time! They also offer boarding if you need it. We left our dogs for a week while we were away on a trip that wasn't dog friendly. They were happy and healthy and while pleased to see us visible happy to be at buddy's.

Jan 2023: Our dog has just spent the last 2.5 years with Buddy, Kevin and Cristal. Our dog would bound out the front door, so excited to see them - they've been a huge part of his development. Kevin and Cristal treated our dog like their own and gave us advice when we asked for it. Freddie spent many nights and a few weeks whilst we went away, without a single issue. So sad we have now moved away from the area, but hoping our dog gets his holidays at Buddy's still. Thank you Kevin and Cristal, you're amazing! Nov 2020: Our dog absolutely loves his days with Buddy and the other pooches. We haven't used Buddy's for any overnights yet, just daycare - but we won't hesitate too.

Kevin has looked after our outdoor rabbit on several occasions and he is always reliable, trustworthy, does an excellent job and often goes above and beyond. When it was very hot he put ice bottles out for the bunny to cool down against! We will continue to be using him and thoroughly recommend his services for any pets.

We used Kevin from Buddy's Pet Care to pop in & look after our cat whilst we were away on holiday and we couldn't be happier with the service! Very personable service from start to finish, with everything thought out and more - nothing was too much trouble & our cat well looked after & more importantly happy! Rudy had a fabulous stay at Pet Whisperers hotel for 11 nights. We had regular updates, videos and pictures of our Boy, all were really appreciated! We could relax knowing that our boy was well looked after and constantly stimulated during the day, tired and comfortable during the night. We would recommend Pet Whisperers to take care of your four legged family member while you are on holiday.

Oxford Pet Whisperers are an exceptional team of caring and dedicated professionals whom I completely trust with our puppy. The heartwarming videos they share on Instagram always brighten my day, showing all the happy dogs playing and enjoying themselves. They provide a wide range of activities and enrichment experiences, and you can even book additional services like baths, tail trims, and full grooming. Amber absolutely loves her time with them and has grown so much more confident since she started attending. I would highly recommend Oxford Pet Whisperers to anyone looking to enhance their puppy’s socialisation. Or to anyone needing day care facilities due to work schedules.

Our golden retriever Ella is a regular daycare visitor and this year we tried the doggy hotel facilities for the first time. It gave us peace of mind as we knew she will be comfortable knowing all staff and environment, and she absolutely loved it, I don't think she was very impressed when we turned up to pick her up 5 days later, she wanted to carry on with the fun! We had a couple of updates on how she is getting on which was lovely to have. And you can see what your pup is up to during the days on Instagram account. Would definitely recommend this over regular kennels!

Lovely introduction. The business has an amazing concept with everything to make the dogs and the owners happy. So much space and all is clean and safe. Even the air gets filtered. My dog didn't want to come with me home after 30 minutes there.

once again Oxford pet whisperer have outdone themselves my little baby Frenchie had the time of his life actually came back with some extra manners. They also managed to squeeze me in a short note as I had to go away thank you very much for everything you’ve done.

We booked our dog in for a puppy groom last year. We looked online and saw that it was going to cost £10 but were surprised by hidden charges and ended up paying around £35-£40. The female groomer was not friendly towards our dog and did not even ask for his name, then was rude when we arrived back a few minutes late to collect him. He did not look well groomed and certainly did not look happy in his post groom photo (see pic). Upon returning home we found out why as the groomer had cut him under the eye and did not tell us. It looked like she had just washed the wound and covered it up. Luckily it did not become infected. We were very displeased and frankly disgusted with the service but due to other factors in life getting in the way at the time we never reached out to Oxford Pet Whisperers, hence the late review. We would certainly not return nor recommend their services to anyone else.

From the start, they have been very accommodating, professional and so friendly! We love the amount of time our pup gets to play and socialise with her friends as well as the first week report card and ongoing photos we can see on social media during her visits! A really well-run and dog centric business who we will be sure to continue to use 👍🏻

All I can say is that this company provides a fantastic service - my 16 week Frenchie had the time of his life playing and mixing with the other dog and staff. thanks for all the support and kindness you gave to my little boy.

Thank you so much for another fabulous groom on Friday. The family commented on how silky soft his coat was and he smelt fabulous. Teddy is so happy at OPW he goes off happily and comes home content and in need of a good long snooze. Having a bath/groom at OPW is a must, especially if the children/grandchildren are home for the weekend as Teddy looks and smells great. Roll on his Christmas groom . Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Jamie, Natalie and the team are amazing. I’ve been sending my dog Cooper to oxford pet whisperers for a year and a half now since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t dream of using any other daycare/dog walking service. They are experts in their field and take such good care of Cooper. He comes home tired out for the evening after a day at daycare and as soon as I turn the corner in to the car park to drop him off, he gets so excited! The pick up and play service is great too as it allows me to be a lot more flexible with work! The daily updates on Instagram are fantastic as it allows you to see what your dogs been getting up to in the day. Couldn’t give a more glowing review ⭐️

Our lovely Molly has grown in confidence over the years she has been walking with Claire and her brilliant team. Perfect example of a personal service. The team are great, our pup gets a really good walk (often for much longer than we expect). They accommodate us last minute when needed for busy days at work. My only worry is he likes them more than us :)
