Lisa was fabulous with my 3 kitties. Not only did she take care of their physical needs while I was overseas for 2+ weeks, she took care of their emotional needs as well. The daily communications helped to alleviate my anxiety at leaving them and the daily photos showed how comfortable they were with her. Will definitely be using her in the future and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an excellent pet sitter.
Lisa was a very responsible and caring bird sitter. She played music and talked to each one when she came each day. She wrote up very detailed reports which made me feel relaxed to leave my flock in her care. My birds were calm and happy when I returned.
Lisa was wonderful at taking care of our two cats while we were away for a 2week+ trip abroad last year. It was clear from her initial meeting visit that she has a special touch with cats, as our one kitty who is usually wary of new folks was engaged and curious to greet her. During our trip, Lisa was very communicative and sent us whatsapp pictures and updates regularly, which I really appreciated. When we returned, both cats were in good spirits (and the plants Lisa had taken care of for me were also doing well). Would highly recommend her expertise--thank you again, Lisa!
Lisa is an amazing pet sitter. She not only meets the needs of my 3 cats, but also my needs with daily pics and updates. I highly recommend her to pet sit while you're away. She puts our minds at ease so can have an even more relaxing vacation.
We have used Lisa's services several times over many years. Not only is she professional, reliable, responsible etc. ... it's also very clear that she really loves cats, and they love her. You'd have to be a "cat person" to notice this, and we did, immediately. She left us a daily commentary and it was extremely reassuring to know that our house and "loved ones" (with fur) were in good hands. Unreservedly recommended.
Lisa was our cat’s sitter for many many years. She is extremely dedicated, thoughtful and caring. She accommodated Amelia’s changing needs throughout her life. Although our sweet cat has passed on now, we highly recommend Lisa’s services, and once our current Covid situation is over we are planning to use her services again for our two new young cats.
We are always nervous to leave our sweet boys, but Lisa was thorough and caring. She updated us regularly to ease our worries. We definitely will work with her in the future.
Lisa is a great cat sitter - I feel 100% comfortable leaving my cat in her care. When my previous cat sitter moved suddenly, Lisa was able to watch my cat over Christmas with very short notice. We have used her exclusively since then and she is very accommodating and flexible. Our cat is older and set in her ways but she warmed up to Lisa and was sitting in her lap in no time - you can tell that she really knows and cares about animals. Lisa always sends pics and updates and is really great about clarifying any changes and letting us know if she notices anything that may be out of the ordinary.
So glad we found Lisa! Kind, patient, responsible, good communicator and perfect for our very shy cat. We always have peace of mind when we know she is caring for our cat. Really, she's the best!
Lisa has been my cat sitter since 2018. I totally trust her and my senior cat loves her! Lisa is careful to every detail. She sent photos to me when I was away and I could tell how cheerful my cat was with her. I realized my neighbors on the same street also get her services for both cats and dogs. Lisa is definitely a very trustable pet sitter!
My best friend, Rosie the labradoodle, is a high energy kind of girl, so I make sure she gets plenty of exercise and socialization. Recently I found the doggie daycare at North Main Pet Lodge, which also does boarding. The good news is that Rosie loves her stays there, and I have complete confidence in the owners and staff, who are both friendly and professional. The lodge is not fancy but both the kennels and the play areas are clean and perfect for an active girl like Rosie. Highly recommended.
I have taken my two dogs to the pet lodge for several years now. The staff is wonderful and professional . I have the highest level of trust in them .
What I love most about the pet lodge is how thoughtful Chris, Colleen, and all of their friendly staff are to help create a comfortable stay for all types of doggy personalities. Highly recommend for both boarding and daycare services. Thank you North Main Pet Lodge!
This business used to be the best for your pet services, but since it's changed ownership, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We have a huskie, and before the change of ownership, our dog Dee loved loved loved this place, but since the change of ownership, the 1 time we took our dog, when we went to pick her up... she was crying and didn't even come up to us, and ran straight to our car 😞 this was heartbreaking for us. She was depressed for 3 days after we brought her home. Dee is usually a happy go lucky, fun loving dog, so this was disturbing for me. We miss the old owners....
I have been taking my dog Jasper to North Main Pet Lodge for 6 months and I’m extremely pleased with the quality of their services. Chris and Colleen have a lot of experience working with pets and it is evident by the care and attention they give each of their customers. I especially like that there are supervised play times to ensure everyone plays safely. I trust the care of my pet for both daycare and overnight boarding with North Main Pet Lodge!
We love North Main Pet Lodge and have used it for our cat for the last 8 years. The cat facilities are large and the enrichment provided by staff keeps our cat happy. We know he is safe and well looked after which gives us peace of mind. This is all besides the fact that the owners and staff are responsive, friendly and caring :)
Really pleased with North Main Pet Lodge, especially the good care and personal attention they gave our dog during his stay. This is a family owned operation, and they really know what they are doing. Will definitely be back -- this is now our preferred dog sitter! I especially like the upgrade options they offer for overnight stays, including 1 on 1 time with the dog, group play, various walks, and evening treats. We signed up for a couple of those extras, and they noticed which ones were effective for our dog and which ones weren't as effective. They proactively adjusted the play time so that our dog could do what he likes best (which also saved us some money). We also know exactly what to sign up for next time. The kennels are a very good size (4 ft wide by 15 ft deep indoor/outdoor area separate with a wall and doggy door).
We have been kenneling our dogs here for quite a few years. They have always been happy and healthy when we've picked them up. Owners are very nice and personable. They even managed to make my horribly unfriendly toy poodle like them. She hates everyone! They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them. Of note, when one of our dogs passed away from lymphoma in March, they were nice enough to send a condonence card.
Love it! Well taken care of. Great experience. We’ve been using them for almost 4 years. We have a old rescue cat. She needs a lot of extra love. Comes back very happy and adjusted. Owners are very personable and respond quickly. Great prices for the area.
Our 9 year old German Shepherd was recently diagnosed with intestinal cancer and we were afraid to board her. We left her at North Main Pet Lodge for 5 nights and she did fantastic!!! Chris and Colleen make you feel so at ease! We love this place and so does our dog!
