This dog training facility(ranch) has been the answer to my pup issues. In one lesson, my German Shepard mix has learned to stay, sit, stay before eating, heel, and to wait before walking out a door. The trainer and atmosphere here is amazing. I tried Blue Collar K9 before coming here, and I'm sure glad I made the change. I won't go to another trainer after this experience!

We highly recommend Twin Cedar K9. Margaret the trainer is fantastic. She is patient, kind, professional and her rates are reasonable. She has a way of training your pet that I have not seen from other dog trainers. In your session you can feel the love that she has for your pet to succeed. She is unique. We are working with Marge to train our 170 lb, 2 year old St Bernard, and ourselves. Our dog was extremely reactive with other dogs and becoming almost too difficult to handle. He would lunge and bark and drag us when we encountered another dog on our walk. After 2 lessons with Marge he is already a much calmer, happier dog on his walks. At the 1st lesson she had dogs walking up to and around him and he was sitting calmly. We were amazed! He is now heeling much better and able to focus on us during his walks. Today he even remained neutral when we walked by another dog. We are so grateful to be able to go out in public again.

Margaret at twin cedar k9 was taking care of my Dog Willow. Her training program is excellent. Willow came back so much better. My training went really well as well, she trained Me as well to handle my dog better ;)). I would never been able to have all my dogs on 1 accord. I also love it that she takes in unwanted and hard to place dogs and gives them 2nd chance and adopts them out once they are trained so they have a better chance to be placed in a loving home.. thank you again, 😊

We heard about Marge and her business from a friend and decided to give her a try. We took our dog to a private session with her and saw fantastic results within 20 minutes of the training. Our dog is an Aussie doodle and very high strong. She was able to get our dog to calm down and showed us a bunch of ways to work with her. It has made an unbelievable difference, and how our dog acts towards us and others, as well as how she works on a leash. Thank you for helping us with our dog.

Margaret was able to transform our rescued German Shepherd from pulling, yanking and absolutely terrified, to being able to walk him on a leash and getting him to sit in ONE session! She is also working with our growly French Bulldog who is showing huge improvements with only two sessions. Highly recommend!

Margaret is the only trainer who has connected with both myself and my dog Clara. She listens to what our goals are and helps guide us to that goal. She is honest and doesn’t misguide you. Hard work from both you and your dog will definitely result in a great team. I can’t recommend her enough!

Marge' is a dedicated trainer. She goes above and beyond with her clients. Her Second Chance program benefits so many deserving dogs.

Love this place! They are so awesome. Paradise Doggie Daycare takes great care of your dog and treats them like family. Our fur baby has anxiety and he did very well with them. So glad we found such a wonderful place with wonderful people. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

My four-legged, 80 lb. boy is a handful of energy and excitement. He LOVES his "play dates" and grooming sessions at Doggie Paradise. He's been boarded there and the staff are professional, wonderful, caring animal lovers and I for one am very appreciative of their services

Took my daughters dog, baby to this facility. She was soo happy. Good prices and they helped us get her claws trimmed and bathed. They also can send you pics. This is one of them that I received below.

Day care for my Ellie has been wonderful. The people there are so kind.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We are from out of town and needed day care for our 13 year old mostly blind and deaf jack russell terrier mix. When we called, they were so welcoming. They invited us to come check out the place prior to leaving our dog. When we arrived we were pleased with the set up, cleanliness, number of staff working, and security cameras. The owner is on site and very pleasant. As our guy was too old to hang out in the small dog play area, they offered to keep him in the reception area with the staff. We were so pleased with this offer. Jacky spent the day and when we picked him up, he was in good spirits (land slept most of the evening. Be prepared to show proof of vaccination. Bottom line: great place, welcoming staff, good price. We felt good leaving our beloved dog with them.

We had left our puppy there for the very first time for three hours and when we went to pick him up he was completely covered in urine. Gross.

Extremely clean and well kept. The girls at Paradise care for the dogs like each dog was their own. Even though I only left my 3 year old terrier for a couple hours (she has separation anxiety) when I picked her up she was very content and comfortable with the girls. They took special care to make sure Sammi was comfortable.

We have we only been there once so far. Staff was really nice but I really would have been more comfortable if I could have seen the area my fur babies were taken to. It was described to me: yes, I am a helicopter mom. I was hoping google would have shown some pictures but only close ups of the dogs. I'm pretty sure I'll give it a 5 start once I'm more comfortable. When I picked up the dogs, they were more than ready to leave after an hour play time. They need time to adjust as well. I'm getting older and they need more play than I can give them daily. I think this will be a good option for them.

Paradise doggy daycare is such a warm and welcoming place not just for you but for your fur baby. Tine is amazing with all types of dogs including dogs that need special attention. Her loving but firm demeanor endears her to all the dogs. When they walk in, they are so excited and happy to be there. Her staff is exceptional.

Was so lucky to have found Stacey! Just moved to the area and was worried about who was going to watch them. Stacey was great, stopped by to get to know the kitties, their schedule and personalities. Stacey also checked in each day with updates and photos. I felt secure knowing they were all taken care of. Looking forward to my next trip knowing I won’t have to worry about them.

Steven & Stacey are the best!! They take such good care of our pup. I love that I get daily pictures while I’m away so I can rest easy that Leo’s having a great time in my absence. I appreciate that there’s options to either board our pup at their home or they’ll make house visits - whatever works best for you. Our boy Vinz just had his first stay with Stacey and Steven. They were amazing! So patient with our boy since he is still a pup! They sent pictures while we were away and let us know how he was doing throughout his stay. This gave me great peace of mind since it was our first time leaving him. You can see how passionate they both are about animals and love knowing how happy Vinz was. We will definitely be using Pawsome pets again!!

Steve and Stacey are wonderful! They love our pups like their own. They sent daily updates and photos showing their “happy” faces, which put our minds at ease. So happy to find an amazing place for my dog close to home. Stacey and Steve are amazing caretakers for your animals. They took great care of my dog, I loved getting pictures, videos and updates daily. My dog came home so happy, clean and well cared for ! The property is well fenced and kept my dog in , she was able to run and explore all she wanted. I loved seeing pictures of her playing with the other dogs, and getting love from Steve and Stacey as well as getting warm by the fire 😎 Highly recommend. They are very affordable.

I am so grateful for Pawsome Pet Services. They have cared for my 3, and now 2 (RIP Miss Roxy), fur babies since 2018. One of my pooches is blind and the other is deaf. Our miniature poodle stayed at Pawsome Pet Services while we went on vacation. I received daily text updates and pictures which was great. Buddy got along great with the other dogs it was nice knowing that he was well cared for while we were away. We will definitely be using Pawsome Pet Services again and I am recommending them to our family and friends.

Pawsome Pets is awesome! Like many of us, my dogs are my babies and when they’re at Pawsome Pets, they’re treated like a member of their family! They have full run of the house and yard. I get daily pictures of them playing with other pups or snuggling in the owner’s lap etc. Pawsome Pets allows me to go on vacation without worrying about my babies at all. They think they’re on vacation!!

Pawsome Pet Services is the best! Stacey and Steven are wonderful people who truly love animals. They have welcomed our dog in their home multiple times and he is always excited to see them. It is wonderful to have peace of mind when we travel, knowing our animals are well cared for and loved!

They always do a wonderful job for us. You can't go wrong with Dolly and Mary. They are experienced and have taken care of our pets for many years.

I took my dog who was recovering from her second TPLO surgery to the pool for rehabilitation. I had the pool to myself. Took my dog a little while to get the idea but she eventually swam around. Entry and exit ramp was a bit of a challenge though.

So, looking at the other reviews we notice a lot of reviews ranging from 4-5 stars, looking pretty good right? Then we notice a review from only 6 months ago about a dog getting brutally attacked and the owner blaming it on the dog. Not very professional. Then I decided to vote for best of amador in the category of pet boarding service and called them to ask about their business and the man who answered was slightly rude and was asking who I was and why I need to know about their business. Definitely don’t recommend taking your dog.

Took my heeler here awhile back for his first dock diving class. He has had tons of obedience training prior and was a demonstration dog in dog training classes for about 4 years. This was his first experience in any sort of water classes. Class started good but the trainer (i don't remember her name) had a crappy attitude and even called my dog a jerk when he was getting overly excited. I cannot give my business to people who treat dogs like this. I definitely won't be back and do not recommend this place.

🔴🔴ATTENTION 🔴🔴 If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I took my dog in, (2 year old pure bread husky) and while I was dropping him off. He was attacked and was rushed to the vet. This place is super unprofessional and very rude on how they handle customers. I’ve taken my dog here 2 times and have felt nothing but attitude from the employees. My dog was bitten by another dog on the property and after confronting the owner or employee, they began to tell me it was my dogs fault for being bit. And also being told it’s my fault for having poor judgment for putting him in the crate that was labeled for us. I have a video showing that my dog did nothing wrong and the dog in the crate next to him was barking like crazy before we even walked in the building and being very aggressive. Please if you love you dog and want them to be in a safe environment DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. This place is unprofessional and unorganized. I’m up to 700$ in vet bills and they don’t want to take responsibly because they know they reliable. I’m only posting because I don’t want this to happen to any other dogs. But this is not the place to go for boarding. If you love your dog go to another place.

Extremely rude. Called just to see if they had good services and I was asked “who is this and why are you asking” in an extremely rude matter. On top of all the dogs being attacked. This place deserves to be shut down and put out of business until they know how to do their jobs and not be rude. Work on some professional training with your employees and then maybe everyone will know how to do their job.

We took our dogs there several years ago and the man that was in charge was so rude to us. Just his attitude. He wouldn't show us where the dogs would sleep, if they were able to roam etc. His tone was hateful. If we weren't suppose to be somewhere we would've grabbed our dogs and left. We have never been back!

At first I had mixed feelings about using an e-collar on our 1 1/2 year old labradoodle . Gold Country kept him for 5 weeks and he still pulled on the leash but has gotten much better over time. Without their training and carryover instructions for us we wouldn't have been able to handle 77 lb "Ranger ." He's a handful and with the proper use of the e-collar and constant reminding, he is a pretty good dog and easier to live with. The updates were ok, would have liked more.

Great dock diving show, and my dog got her title!

Great people and a very safe and welcoming environment. Being new I was a little nervous but the capable staff made me feel like I learned a lot in just one lesson of dock diving. We have also tried the barn hunt and it was a great way to learn. An amazing place all around.

Pretty nice location, single lane dirt road to get to dock area. Good pool setup for dock diving, and a judge who is very attentive. Remember that there are strange ppl and dogs at these events and you should keep your distance from them to stay safe. Bring your own shade. On the hottest days of they year they take shorter breaks to get done early. Nice to have 3 dives done by noon.

Sammy is my precious "Buddy". When life takes me where he can't go, i will only leave him with Sophia (Duke's Pet Sitting). Sophia treats him like i do. She "loves on him" and plays with him. Her attention to his needs is what i like best. I am thankful to have Duke's pet Sitting available!

Sophia is our go-to and preferred pet sitter! She’s extremely professional, extremely responsive, and our pets are always well taken care of. Sophia has watched our cat a couple of times while we were always for long and short vacations. We also recently booked Sophia to walk our dog too! We are grateful to have found her on Rover and can book with peace of mind knowing our pets are in fantastic hands!

We have been using Sophia regularly this summer to take care of our large dog Nash when we travel and we are so happy to have found her! She is great with Nash, but also very reliable, flexible, and communicates availability quickly. We love getting pics of our pet while he is in her care. She is our first and favorite option and would highly recommend!

Sophia is our go-to sitter when we need to leave the dogs at home. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they are taken care of while we are away. She not only takes care of the dogs, but has been great about watering plants when needed and always makes sure our house is safe and secure while we are gone. We get photos during her visits and our dogs are always calm and happy when we get back home!

Sophia is very dependable and trustworthy and my very anxious dog seems to be warming up to her! Very happy with her and have hired her quite a few times now.

Our Pomeranians seem to be very happy here. They are very well treated. Staff are proud of their work and quite devoted. First class service. Costly to provide ergo costly to take advantage of.

We took our now, 9 month old puppy to be groomed twice, including an overnight boarding the first time. We were worried about leaving her but our scheduling left us no other options. They did a great job. The place really is a pet resort! Their employee's were warm and sincere. They made us feel comfortable the very first visit there. Best of all is that she loved it! We can go and do whatever, knowing she is in good hands.

I was pleased with the care from Town & Country Pet Resort with my brand new puppy while I went to visit my mother They have playtime and cuddle time and your puppy can be groomed as well. I highly recommend them

Good boarding place. I really like how they post pictures of your dog on facebook. They are friendly and care about your animals. I will continue to use them for boarding. Their groomer is good to.

Doggie Day care went very well. 6 hours and our 9mo old Dal seemed pretty happy. Staff is great!

Facility is immaculate with indoor/outdoor kennels (heated floors), secure play areas, and kind, caring, wonderful staff who go above and beyond. Great pricing and add-on services available. I always feel confident leaving my dogs here. It is a treat for them to be groomed while we are away, and I don’t feel guilty for leaving them for a few days because I know they are well taken care of.

We took our Great Pyrenees for her spring grooming. She was a mess and Town & Country Pet Resort turned her into a beautiful soft white fluffy dog! The facility is clean and inviting and the help is warm and welcoming. Will be returning to them again!

We left our Border Collie Daisy here for 6 days. She has never been away from us since she was born. The bordering area and play yard area is so super clean and no smell at all. They staff are very caring about the animals they have there and also very professional. We will be using them from now on when we have to be out of town.

I very highly recommend Debbie Meier for pet sitting. She provides much TLC for our spoiled cat Max when we travel. We get daily updates and photos of Max and do not worry about him or our home when Deb is sitting for us. This eliminates a lot of stress. Debbie worked as a vet assistant locally for years. She knows local veterinarians and pet hospitals. She is very knowledgeable with medications and special foods. Deb is trustworthy and dependable. Great with communication. Our cat is very well cared for when we are away.

Deb is the best she loves Animals & cares for them just like they all belong to her while your gone! Hire her she is terrific!

When another local pet resort was shut down with less than two weeks notice I was really in a bind for a last minute kennel for my 3 dogs. Happy Tails and their wonderful owner Tamara to the rescue. She accommodated us in their lovely facility. We received regular updates and my dogs felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. I highly recommend them.

Happy tails has taken care of our dogs many times over the past 6 years, both at our house and boarding at Tamara’s. The care and attention to detail is always there and our dogs tell us this too as they love everyone at Happy Tails!
