Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.

Great place to take your dog for day care or swim fun. I've taken my bullmastiff to day care and open swim. She lived both and came home tired and happy. Bit expensive buy you're paying for good care of your dog. I really appreciate that they screen your pet and have separation of different temperaments. Open swim in wknds is great and pretty cheap at $10 per dog. I highly recommend and will be back often. They have boarding service too, but I've never used it.

We rented the pool with some dog park friends and had a blast. The staff are very friendly and the pool was ready to have our pack of dogs rage. Some seating provided, bring a towel for yourself and wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked because the dogs will shake all over you!

Our baby loves her stays here and comes home happy having played with dogs for a week while we go on vacation.. take your baby here and see how great this place is!! 💙🙏🤙 See healthy happy tired.. good girl. …

The staff here is great! Our pup had an amazing day swimming here, we are planning on coming back for daycare :) (And I must say... It's so refreshing to find a place where pitbulls are treated equally!)

I took my dog, Huffy, to the Animal Den for their open swim. She had a blast! All the doggies loved the pool and I got to enjoy some wine while she played. It was a win all around! My only gripe is the admission fee is $10. The fee is reasonable but it does keep us from going as frequently as we would like!

My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!

Such nice and caring individuals! They can accommodate almost anything! Very patient and compassionate for not only the fur babies but the fur parents as well! As for my Meeko he is having the time of his life for his first time. He is literally smiling. Great decision to board him here. I would high recommend this place!

They have been taking care of my loved ones for nearly 40 years. I've never boarded my dogs anywhere else and hope I never have to. They give great care and love and my dogs have fun there. And I have peace of mind.

Monique is fantastic! I actually found her through Reddit for recommendations from locals. I just moved here from GA so I was worried about leaving my cat Apple because my job requires a lot of travelling. I messaged Monique and we scheduled a meet and greet. Monique came by my apartment where she got the chance to meet Apple. She asked a lot of questions to be thorough of Apple's needs. And this meet and greet gave Apple a chance to see how Monique and I interacted. The meet and greet went well. While I was gone, I received daily pictures and updates about Apple from Monique. It's so reassuring when she sends these updates!

My daughter referred me to Monique when I moved to Sacramento about a year ago and I have utilized her services consistently :) She provides very individualized , caring and attentive care to my 2 cats and tortoise. I can travel stress free, knowing my pets are well taken care of. Monique is a gem!!

We couldn’t be happier with Monique’s diligent care of our kitty, Echo, while we were away! She sent updates and photos every day, and was always easy to reach in case we had any concerns or schedule changes. Monique is incredibly well-organised, attentive, friendly, and responsive, and fulfilled all Echo’s needs, and then some. We can’t imagine going to anyone else for the care of our beloved pet. She makes sure to keep our plants watered and even took great care of our fishtank. Highly recommend this experienced pet whisperer to anyone in need!

We have used Monique multiple times to watch our 4 cats, 2 requiring daily medications. Monique is diligent in ensuring she knows everything she needs to know about your pets to provide the best care possible. We felt at ease while we were gone knowing that they were in excellent hands, and we appreciated the updates we received when she would visit.

Monique is one of the few people I trust completely with my cats. She gave me peace of mind while I was traveling longer than I've ever been away from them. If you're looking for a trustworthy pet sitter, then Monique is the one for you! I was in need of a pet sitter and began looking for one about a month before I was going on a trip. After researching several pet sitting agencies and striking out with potential sitters, I was referred to Monique. What a lifesaver she is! Our dog is like our child and I was worried about getting good care for him. She came over and made us and our dog feel comfortable right away. It can be nerve wracking to find someone you can totally trust. Monique was professional and made us feel comfortable right away. Our dog is leery around strangers but when we returned from our trip and Monique came by to drop off our key, our dog was so excited to see her! She is dedicated, organized, and passionate about her business and she really tried to understand our dog's needs. She really showed that she loves her job. I would definitely hire her again!

Monique was absolutely fantastic. We had her watch our cat while we were out of town. Prior to doing that, she set up a time to come to the house and meet her and discuss the care. She was incredibly kind and responsive during the entire process and we came home to a happy and healthy pet. We will definitely be using her services in the future.

Highly recommend using Furever Pals Pet Service for all of your pet visits and walks. I have a 17 year old pup, Ellie, and Monique has been nothing but the best to her. It takes Ellie a while to get going and Monique is so patient with her. I love getting picture updates and a review of how she did when Monique takes her for her mid day walk.

Heard about Monique and Furever Pals through a friend and I'm glad I took the chance. She takes excellent care of Milo, and he absolutely loves her. I also greatly appreciate her level of communication - she often sends pics from their walks, and lets me know his bathroom habits. Highly recommend Monique if you're looking for someone who truly cares about the pets and parents she works with.

Can't say enough good things about Midtown Mutts! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely care about the dogs they work with. My dog loves the trainers and enjoys coming to class, plus it's a great way to tire him out when the weather is bad. We've been bringing our dog here practically since we got him, starting with the puppy socialization classes and now continuing with weekly classes to reinforce his training and learn new skills. I really appreciate that they offer classes throughout the week on a variety of topics with different trainers, so it never feels stagnant or repetitive. They make dog training both fun and interesting!

Highly recommend the team at Midtown Mutts! As return to office has added more and more days per week, we searched high & low for a reliable dog service. Driving to one of the various doggy daycare options didn’t fit in with our schedule so we were pleased when we found Midtown Mutts. They offer 30, 45 or 60 minute dog walks which enables Georgia to get out of the house mid day to relieve herself or smell a different patch of grass. The staff is fantastic and we love getting the detailed after visit summary. They know Georgia and are aware of her idiosyncrasies.

The Midtown Mutts team walked and took care of our dear dog for almost two years until we had to say goodbye. Even as he aged and his needs were more complex, the dog walkers were always patient and caring (pro-tip: sign up your senior dog for at least the 30 minute walk so neither the dog walker nor your dog feel rushed). I was enjoying this service with their reports that include pictures and a brief description of the visit until the walker left my back door open on a nearly 100 degree day in a not great neighborhood. My house was unsecured for 4 hours until I got home from work. Would not recommend to others

Cannot say enough great things about Midtown Mutts. We have a 12 year old jack Russell who is a rescue and doesn’t do well with other dogs or boarding. MM comes to our home and takes amazing care of her! Here’s a recent email I sent them: “Just wanted to say a big thank you to your team for taking such great care of our dog, Maggie! She can be a crotchedly little lady and isn’t the easiest to care for sometimes, but I know she warms up to you all whenever you come by for a visit. We have been hesitant to leave her because her health isn’t doing too well, but your team makes it easier! We love how thoughtful the email updates and photos are each visit and know that she is getting amazing care. We especially appreciate the efforts to clean up after her when she spills her water or has an accident in her crate.”

What a WONDERFUL service provider. I have a large Staffordshire terrier rescue that is strong and sometimes reactive to other dogs. Midtown Mutts actually trains their walkers with positive reinforcement techniques. They also have special safety gear to ensure there are no accidental incidents when the dog might get loose and run into traffic or get into a scuffle with another dog. A great system for booking and invoicing and very reliable. I love the photos that I get from the walkers. They are great with dogs providing affection, mental stimulation, and safety. Thank you!

Midtown Mutts has been a lifesaver for me. I work long hours in a hospital and always worry about my dog. After doing some research, I found Midtown Mutts. I met with the owner, Cassie, and she was amazing and and made me feel very comfortable. All of the dog walkers that I have had so far are great! They treat my dog like a king! They always refill his water and give him treats! He loves them! I love getting the email everyday with a brief description of the walk and 3 pictures! I would 10/10 highly recommend this company for dog walking.

As a travel nurse, it can be a daunting task trying to find dog care while in a new city. But, I’m thankful to have found Midtown Mutts! I appreciated the email updates after dog walks, and I was spoiled by the flexible schedule Midtown Mutts provides. I was also a fan of how seamless scheduling is via their online portal for clients. Highly recommend. Stormie and I will miss you guys!

Midtown Mutts took care of my cat for 3 days while I was out of town. They sent me daily emails with brief report and pictures after each visit and really gave me peace of mind that my cat is in good hands while I'm gone. They responded promptly to emails and their prices are more than fair. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I cannot recommend Cha Cha's highly enough. My dog, Penny, has been going to daycare for a couple of years now, and I continue to be impressed with the staff's enthusiasm and care for my girl. The minute she realizes where we're going, she'll start her happy vocalizations in the car, and as soon as we arrive, she is DRAGGING me through the front gate to go play with her friends. Something I really love about Cha Cha's is that the staff doesn't just sit there and observe the dogs - they actively engage with them - enrichment activities, snuggles, etc. It makes my heart so happy to see my pup so happy there. For me, having separate spaces for big and little dogs is a huge plus, as Penny is very nervous around high-energy/boisterous big dogs. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure every dog is comfortable and well-taken-care-of. In addition to daycare, I've also used Cha Cha's boarding services and more recently, their grooming services, and have been really happy with all of it. While these services aren't "cheap," everything is priced competitively/reasonably and frankly, the care your dog will get is worth ten times what you're charged. And I feel good about supporting a small business that gives back to its community, supporting many of the same groups and organizations that I do. Bottom line: Penny and I love Cha Cha's and know you will too! ❤

My dog has been going to Cha Cha’s for several years. She loves it and is so well taken care of. But just recently did I see just how much she’s loved there. This is Leo - he sat and pet these pups so calmly and gently. My dog (on his lap) couldn’t get enough. I am so grateful for Leo and how sweet he is with the doggies. The staff at Cha Cha’s is amazing. My dogs have been going here for the last 3 years.. they have been so patient with my kiddos and I absolutely trust them with their care. One of my dogs has health issues and the staff has been great wit Th meeting his needs. I love these folks dearly and I highly recommend their services.

I recently took my dog to Cha Cha's, and I couldn't be happier! The staff was welcoming, and the groomer listened to my preferences, making my pup feel at ease. When I picked him up, he looked adorable - his coat was shiny, and the trim was perfect! The salon was clean, and they even provided helpful tips for at-home care. I highly recommend Cha Cha's for a fantastic grooming experience. We'll definitely be back!

My little Jackie loves Cha Cha’s, and so do I. I can check in on Jackie during the day via the live cameras and I see a happy dog. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. They seem to really enjoy the animals. They provide a safe environment for my dog to socialize and play with other dogs. At the end of the day, I pick up a tired and happy dog.

Cha Cha’s is the best! I’ve been taking my little rat terrier here for years- not only do they love her, but they always do a fantastic job! Julie is an amazing groomer and Heather at the front desk is always friendly and accommodating. I was even able to make a same-day appointment

We love Cha Cha's! We come here 2x a week for daycare, some grooming and lots of boarding throughout the year. The staff, literally everyone, is always so welcoming and kind to my guy. Arthur, my Boston Terrier, has a unique personality and can sometimes be weary of new people. Everyone knows this about him and they all give him his space and time to warm up when he comes in. The staff communicates well with me and go above in working with Arthur to break out of his shell. He comes home happy and exhausted. Having Cha Cha's as part of Arthur's routine has been so great for him!

Our rescue dog, Marty, has been going to Cha Cha's since she was 2 years old in 2019. She goes multiple times a week for day care, gets monthly grooming, and boarding occasionally. We absolutely love the staff and greatly appreciate the care they provide. We know she has a blast every time she is there and wouldn't trust her with anyone else!

This review has been a long time coming. From the time you step in the door with your fur baby(s), people are friendly, pleasant, attentive, and in great spirits! My dog is running for the front door when we arrive, which makes me feel like I'm a good dog Mom. He comes home tired and freshly bathed, ready for dinner and, evening snuggles. Was assured by owner that staff would respect and secure my home and they did not. Front door was left unlocked while walker was out with my dog and back door left unlocked and open when they left. Staff also forced my fearful dog into a harness before earning their trust, sent me a report photo of her looking extremely uncomfortable in my kitchen. I let them go after four days and would not recommend them to anyone

I have trusted the care of my furry friends to Janet and her team for 16 years now. They have been through a lot with me and my cat crew - saying hello to new furry faces and some goodbyes too. I realize as I begin to think about traveling again, that using Janet and Lucky Buddy to take care of Finn while I am away is critical to me feeling comfortable. When it comes to the pets who depend on me, I have a hard time assuming that "no news is good news", so I really love the daily photos and updates. The staff is really proactive about the pet's comfort, and I know I could count on Janet to do anything needed. That's really important to me when I am out of town and sometimes very far away.

I’ve been having Janet and her team care for my sweet dog Diamond for years. I enjoy the updates they give me via email each time they visit her and I’m away, along with a sweet photo of my dog. I can tell they are people who truly care for animals and I like when they bring attention to any concerns they’ve noticed with her. They have always been accommodating to the schedule that I have and I truly appreciate them.

In a word, amazing! I had a serious medical emergency and was hospitalized with no notice. Janet and the team stepped in the same day and took care of my pup for days until I was able to return home. Thank you Lucky Buddy Petcare!

Janet and her team are really in love with animals. I’ve petsat for friends and colleagues and the overall vibe from this small group of dedicated part-timers is an appreciation of your home and your animals’ comfort in it. They also are mindful of bro gong in packages/mail and watering plants, so bonus. Also, they include pictures and little fun reports on the pets’ “state of mind” Worth it every time.

We recently moved to CA and my biggest concern was finding a good overnight boarding facility for our dogs. I was a little worried being that they are so new, but this place has been amazing!! We have used them a couple of times already. I love how we can bring their bedding from home so it can comfort them. It’s so clean, quiet, and the staff are kind. My border collie/blue heeler is a good judge of character and when we can back she was so excited to see one of the staff members. Made me feel like okay, if she gave their stamp of approval then we are gold! I definitely recommend!

As a dog owner, who recognizes the responsibility and dedication required to raise a well adjusted, well socialized, and confident dog, I've tried multiple doggy day cares in the Sacramento area. I realized I could not manage my dog Jack alone; he needs a lot of stimulation, is very attached to me at home and I have other things I need to do- and without the guilt. Doggy daycares range from terrible to amazing and The Bark Park stands out from the crowd. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, flexible and show genuine interest in Jack and his well being. The place is clean, professional, and well organized. They clearly spent a lot of time in developing processes, finding the right staff, and fully understand every detail that goes into running a doggy day care. Jack is always excited when we arrive, pick up/drop off is efficient, friendly, and positive. I feel really grateful to have found this place and feel valued as customer and hope to continue to be one for a long time to come. This place is definitely a 5 star facility.

We just moved to Sacramento and we are so glad we found the Bark Park. Our great dane needs to socialize a couple of times a week and we have found a great place! We have also boarded him for a night twice now and the staff took great care of our big guy. They have even given us photos and videos of him with his friends. He is happy going and happy when we pick him up. Great staff and very nice facility.

The place is nice and clean. I walked in, and the workers were giving the dogs so much love, and the dogs were not locked up. The lady at the front desk was so nice to me and my dog, her name is Taren ( I think that is how you spell her name). I will be boarding my baby there.

We're always looking for dog daycare for our about to be ten year old dog. Most places are close but not close enough and usually out of our way to get there. When I found out about this place, I was absolutely excited that this place was within walking distance from my house! They're open Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm, and 9am to 5pm on weekends (lobby closed 11:30am to 1pm all week) I'm hoping they expand the hours after business picks up. They just recently opened on February 10th, so they're really new. We were given a tour of the place and got to meet the handler who was watching our dog in daycare. I especially appreciated the behavioral sheet that they asked me to fill out (and won't let me leave without filing it out after drop off) to ensure they get to know him better. Trial day for daycare was free and today, we're off to drop our dog for the second time and also purchase a 10 pack! Oh, and they gave us report card and goodie bag at pick up. Welcome to East Sac, Bark Park!

My husband and I are SO glad we found this daycare! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the facility is kept very clean. I love that they have indoor turf too!
