Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Davis and Sydney were loving sitters for our pets. We even had an extra cat (our son's) and they took great care of all of the pets and our home. The pictures and the comments they sent showed us they figured out all of their quirky personalities very fast. It was nice to come home to a clean house and all pets were safe and happy! Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.

Melanie and Steve were excellent house & pet sitters. They sent me so many pictures of my 3 cats without me even asking and it made me so happy to see them enjoying their company. Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. You will be lucky if he can do the same for you. :)

Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. Lisa is a gem for anyone looking to have their fur baby taken care of the way you care for them! Not thrown in a kennel and confined to a small boxed area! She gives one on one attention to just your baby and keeps you informed of your baby by sending you text messages and photos of what your baby is doing all while your gone! We are full time RVers and after I spoke with Lisa on the phone I felt super comfortable about taking our maltipoo to her! Since he has separation anxiety she had us bring him the day before we were to leave him at her home, for about ten minute trial run, so he’d get a feel! Then when the next day came it went smoothly! She is wonderful with dogs and because she has such a calm nature I feel our dog felt real comfortable with her! If you truly want the best care for and not worry about your fur baby when your gone I highly recommend Lisa’s Little Doggie Daycare!
If you need someone to watch your little pup while you enjoy all that Verde Valley has to offer, call Lisa! She is the most amazing little doggie sitter ever! You have to book in advance as she will only watch one dog at a time so that they have her full attention. She will stay in touch with you throughout the day or evening. (Yes, she dog sits at night too!) She sends several pictures of your fur baby while you are away. We have a 4 month old puppy, Piper. She is such a mama's girl, but did just fine with Lisa. We had her watch Piper twice for us. One night so we could go to the Blazin' M Ranch Dinner Show and one day so we could do the Verde Valley Train ride. I highly recommend all three...the dinner, the train and of course Lisa!!!
I contacted Lisa back in August about watching our yorkipoo puppy while we took the train ride. We stayed in contact until we finally meet today. Lisa was absolutely wonderful. She took outstanding care of our Sadie who has separation anxiety. We started receiving updates and photos soon after we left which helped me to know Sadie was in great care. Lisa’s lap was always available for Sadie. We highly recommend Lisa for your pet sitting needs!
Lisa was such a God sent to us. Just got our 4.5 month old puppy 3 weeks ago, and didn't know who could watch him so we could attend a family birthday train ride in Clarkdale. Found Lisa on line and read her reviews. She was WONDERFUL. Sent pics and updates all day. Finley looked very at home. I met Lisa for the first time and she was wonderful in taking care of my 3 little Maltese family while my husband and I went for dinner. I’ve never had my babies in a daycare before and she put my anxieties to rest. Lots of pictures and updates during the night. I felt they were in a safe secured and comfortable home. I left my pup with Lisa while I was visiting Sedona. He had a blast with her. I enjoyed my time in Sedona because Lisa was able to care so lovingly for Samson. She kept me updated as the day went on as to what he was up to. I highly recommend her services.

I found Lisa online and called her, she answered her phone and after talking to her, I knew she was the perfect person for dog sitting my dog. Her communication was great. We are locals who travel often and have used Lisa's Doggie Day Care for 2+ years. We have 2 small dogs and they absolutely LOVE going to Lisa's! She operates out of her house, which is set up nicely for the dogs. Lisa is very professional and clearly loves the dogs & her work. We have left our fur babies with her for up to 2 weeks. We love the pics in her text updates during our travels. We frequently take our dogs to Lisa's for an afternoon while we grocery shop, just because they love their play dates at her house. I am so relieved to find such a clean, professional, and friendly facility to board my dog. There are not a lot of choices for kenneling in this wonderful small town of Cottonwood, but Johnny's Doghouse definitely makes up for it with their amazingly clean, well managed, and professional kennels. I toured the facility prior to dropping my dog off for a trial "daycare" run for the day and was very pleased with everything. I really appreciate the text and email reminders of appointments too, and their prices are incredibly reasonable! I highly recommend Johnny's Doghouse!
I have no idea how good they are as far as grooming however I did call and left a message on the voice mail to see if they could do a grooming next week. 4 days later no return calls. My first impression of any biz is going to be customer service. This is a fail by not responding to my voice mail. Time to look somewhere else.
I have been to many dog care facilities and as a dog professional I have been very impressed with Johnny’s Doghouse! The staff is compassionate, friendly, thorough, and go above and beyond to show love and care to the dogs that stay here. One of the caretakers, George, has been incredible about winning over even the most difficult dogs, from an aggressive border collie to a fearful pitbull. I’m so grateful to have found this business and will continue bringing my dogs to them in the future 🥰🐶
