I take my anxious senior cockapoo here for grooming and Hallie does a wonderful job. My pup always looks fantastic and always comes out calm and relaxed. She does a great job and is clearly very gentle and kind to my little old guy and we are very grateful for her and Silver Trails.

I Took my yorkie here and what she did was take a pair of clippers and just buzzed off. All his whiskers now I have the most misbehaved dog I have ever had. He was fully trained, never barked. Did his business weary where he was supposed to? Now? He doesn't walk in circle. She ruined his life!!!!

Our dogs go here for boarding when needed, and for haircuts. Never an issue, and people are super nice. The one star review for hair cut must have been a communication problem, because we've probably gotten our dog's hair cut 10 times here and it's great every time. Also, we just boarded our dog here for 4 days and no issues as usual

Relatively decent, no real itemized receipt provided, and if you take things there for your pet(s), do not expect them to track those items well enough to return the items upon pickup. Pups are still alive, so that counts as something. Perhaps a check in form detailing items recieved. Also kennels we have used in the past had an intake form allowing selection of activities or requested services that facility can provide grooming etc during drop off, that would be really helpful.

We've boarded our dogs with Silver Trails multiple times. It's always a great experience. They are kind, safe, clean, helpful, and super responsive. I do wish like some other places they either had a cam or send you periodic pics of your dogs, especially for longer stays. But, otherwise, they are awesome. Highly recommend.

Silver Trails has boarded our puppies for a couple of years now. They are always treated well and handled safely. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff are amazing and so sweet to our babies! Our puppies come home happy, clean, and well fed. This is a great place to board your animals!

We have been boarding our Great Dane here since she was about 7 months old. She is almost 3 now. She enjoys the staff and atmosphere. We always book her in a suite and she is always healthy and happy when we pick her up. The staff, especially Candi, are her home away from home playmates. I trust Silver Trails to keep my big baby happy and healthy while we are away for extended weekends. Thank you Silver Trails! We would miss so many life events if we did not have Silver Trails as our babysitters.

Our dog, Tinker Belle loved her stay there! She came back in wonderful condition and we took her with us yesterday to make reservations in August...she ran over to the tech and kissed her! We love this kennel....it's just like a camp for pets!

The best in pet sitting. The dogs love her. Very organized, paperwork filled out for each visit with comments about dogs' interaction and visual observations of their over all health, patient and understanding. If the dogs require walking that is also part of the service rendered. Playing, one of the dogs is a Jack Russell, Tucker is high energy with his special toy awaiting her when she opened the door twice a day. Sabrina Brewer is a Labrador owner, trainer, a savvy business woman and dedicated to providing the best in pet care.

We've been relying on Belly Rubs for years any time we go away for the day and can't bring our dog. Sabrina has never let us down. I don't know what we'd do without her. Our dog loves her and so do we!

DO NOT take your dog here or trust this company. Never have I ever been spoken to like Sabrina spoke to me in my life! I simply called her cell phone which she told me to call her back on (after leaving a message weeks ago waiting to hear back) and she answers the phone saying "stop F*ing calling me!" I honestly have no idea how she has any clients if that's they way she speaks to them. If she treats the dog owners like this I can only image how she treats the dogs. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR ANIMALS!

We love the Barking Lot! Our little girl Ollie has the best time playing with her friends. The staff have always been kind and respectful and we feel confident dropping our baby off there. Since bringing Ollie, she has really come out of her shell. Ollie was a rescue and was a little shy at first. TBL has been patient and attentive and we couldn’t be happier!!!

These guys love my pup Little Theo as if her were family. I trust them as if they were the same, and am grateful I have them. And he Loves them and loves going! He never wants to go home and that says a lot. Their facility is immaculate and I would recommend them to anyone, and I do!

I absolutely adore The Barking Lot. The staff is super nice and they keep the facilities super clean. I have loved picking them up and hearing how much the staff loved my dogs. The last time I picked them up, two staff members made sure to give them all the hugs and kisses goodbye. It melted my heart! I’ve boarded my two dogs there twice now and I could tell they were well taken care of. Both of my dogs are rescues, but my littlest one has a lot of trust issues and has an extended process for meeting new people in the home. I was very worried when I did a trial run prior to boarding (which they require) that they weren’t going to pass the test. If it didn’t work out, I didn’t know what I was going to do. I truly believe the staff is so well trained and understanding that they passed because the staff made my dogs feel safe and welcomed. Once my dogs feel comfortable with you, they are complete love bugs and all they want is to love on you, cuddle you, and play. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer individual rooms for dogs that can’t handle being around all the other dogs and noises. And since my bigger dog is considered in a big dog group, and she’s not okay being away from my small dog, they wouldn’t be able to handle the separation plus new dogs. Like I said, my dogs are rescues and they can have a very hard time being sniffed and having other dogs in their personal bubble, especially if I’m not there with them. So not only did they get to stay together in their own private room, but they got to play with the staff in a secluded area away from the dog crowd. It’s extra touches and individual care that made their stay so comfortable and not stressful. The Barking Lot has a facebook page where they regularly put photos of your dogs up throughout the day. I could see the joy on their faces and some even with staff cuddling them. It calmed my nerves a lot while I was away. This is the first place I’ve ever boarded my dogs because I had never needed to before recently, and I’m so glad I picked them. I chose them because of the good reviews, and I can tell they are all well deserved. They will be my first choice any time I may need to travel for an extended period. I have three goldens that literally start barking at the top of Sherman Ave because they are so excited to come to day care. This is the only sign I really need to know that they are well taken care of. I have gone to other places years ago which was not a good fit. I have never had a problem and if I have questions they message me back quickly. We have been a customer here for 6 years or so. My goldens and I give them 12 paws up!!

I bring my pup waffles a few times a week to burn off energy and get socialization, the staff is always incredibly friendly and answers any questions I have. They give updates on how his day was when I go to get him and what friends he played with. They even saved a baby tooth for me, the staff really cares about the dogs in their care and know what they are doing. I previously worked at a doggy day care where if the dogs were injured or got into tussles that were a little too rough they wouldn’t tell the owners, at the barking lot that is not the case. Waffles and one of his friends played a little too hard which they corrected and he had a little mark on his head, if they hadn’t told me I wouldn’t of even seen it, point being they are incredibly responsible and make sure all the dogs are happy and taken care of and keep the parents abreast to everything big or small ! I can’t recommend them enough and how transparent they are!

We've been bringing our dog (child) to The Barking Lot for just about a year now. This is her second favorite place to go (for day care or for overnight stays) other than a brewery. We refer to TBL as "school" and our pup loses her mind with excitement when she hears the word. When she goes to the vet or to get her nails trimmed, she will let you know she doesn't want to be there. When we get to TBL she can't wait to go inside and is immediately greeted by the friendly staff who always know her name and treat her like one of their own. I can't say enough good things about the facility, staff, and level of customer service and care. The daily photo updates on Facebook and Instagram get me through my separation anxiety when I see how much fun my dog is having and they have always been so helpful when we find our self in a bind and are running late. My dog loves it here and that is just about all that matters. There isn't much more you can say than that!

The staff at The Barking Lot is exceptional. The facility is warm and welcoming and it is Phoebe Rose's home away from home. Her sleepover was awesome and we are so lucky to have such great people take care of our baby. Thank you!!!!!!

Getaway friends is an amazing pet care business who goes above and beyond every time! Michele and Bryan, the owners, truly care for everyone’s pet as their own. On many occasions they have stopped by for extra visits out of the goodness of their heart to check on my animals to make sure they are doing okay. They are amazing in how they care for my pets and are always reasonable with me. I highly recommend Getaway Friends Pet Care for your next vacation or weekly pet care needs. I cannot say enough good things about Getaway Friends. Michelle and Bryan have become friends who we know truly care about our boys, Nugget and Denim. Our Nugget has extreme separation anxiety and sometimes makes messes but Michelle and Bryan always clean it up and don’t complain. They are communicative, flexible, reliable, and most importantly our boys love them. The only thing we wish is that they had a full on daycare!

From the moment that we met Michele we knew she was the person to take care of our little over one year puppy as we were going away for the weekend for a wedding. She immediately got into his schedule and all worked out well. It is a comfort to us that we have someone who we can trust and call upon when we need her.

I contacted Shoreline Happy Paws when I injured myself and could not walk my rambunctious puppy. Adriana quickly set up an initial home visit and came up with a twice-a-day walk schedule, which was very flexible and accommodating. All the dog walkers I had a chance to meet were very friendly and genuinely caring towards my puppy. They would send me messages and photos on how the walk went, and provide me with valuable information and impressive (sometimes funny) pictures. Thanks to Adriana and her staff, my puppy has tremendously improved on leash walking. Maybe someday I can try hikes when my puppy is well behaved around other dogs. I highly recommend Shoreline Happy Paws!

Adriana is fantastic. I have a 5 month old Siberian husky named Luna and she is a handful, I've had Adriana come by on days that I am traveling for business and usually she visits 3-4 times on those days to let Luna out, walk/play with her, clean up any accidents and feed her. She always texts me pictures and lets me know how Luna is doing which I love. Not only is she great with pets, she is also very thoughtful about your home - for example, last time I hired her she brought in 2 packages that were delivered, one of which was an 80 pound desk. I cant recommend Shoreline Happy Paws enough, having a dog sitter that is trustworthy, outgoing and truly passionate providing a great customer and pet experience is an incredible asset

Adriana and her dog walkers are professional, courteous and dependable. They helped us out during a family emergency with warmth and compassion, and I cannot recommend them more highly. We were lucky to have engaged Shoreline happy Paws when we did!

Our fur baby doesn’t like being left alone, and makes sure we know it, so after some research we called Shoreline to doggy-sit him during date night. We took into account the good reviews, insurance, and numerous certifications before reaching out. We built in a buffer to meet Adriana first before heading out and our dog was very comfortable and playful with her, so we felt calm heading out for dinner. Adriana texted us updates of how he was doing in the home and on his walk, and sent pictures. It was our first time leaving him with someone but we were able to enjoy a nice evening safe in the knowledge that our boy was in good hands. We were very pleased and will definitely be calling again if we need another night out!

I broke my foot last year, so I couldn’t walk my dog. I looked up dog walkers online (I was new to town at the time), and Shoreline Happy Paws was one of the first listings, so I gave them a call. From the moment my dog met Adriana and Chris, she was smitten. My rescue pup can be hesitant and super-shy, but she had the zoomies right away, and still runs out of the house to greet them every day. She has also been a reactive dog, traditionally, but in Chris and Adriana’s capable hands (and now with her new favorite dog walker, Abby), she is relaxed and happy, and utterly at ease with other dogs. It’s amazing to see the transformation in confidence she’s undergone. My foot has healed well, but I have kept the daily walks and hikes with the Shoreline crew because my pup loves them so much. (They’re also super-kind with people, too). 😄 I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Contacted Happy Paws with short notice before summer vacations. Adriana was very responsive and came over to see the layout. We have 3 indoor cats so they need attention daily. I cannot say enough good things about this Company. Each day we received a contact with pictures which was amazing. Very conscience when we were getting a storm before we returned since we had outdoor furniture from a previous party. Extremely happy with everything they provided and the price was affordable. They've got our business for as long as we continue to need the loving care they provide.

Shoreline Happy Paws came to our wedding rescue! We got married at dog-friendly Saybrook Point Inn in Old Saybrook, CT however, everyone we trusted to watch my baby was going to be apart of the wedding festivities! I am definitely over protective of my baby girl and can’t stand the thought of putting her in a kennel or leaving her with someone I don’t know or trust. I found Shoreline Happy Paws and meet with the owners a few weeks before the wedding. They were so sweet and kind to my very shy pup, I knew my pup would do well with them. The owners were extremely flexible and accommodating! On short notice they were able to watch my pup for a few extra hours while we attended our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Day-of Adriana was there on time, had toys and treats, she helped us during a photo shoot, and stayed with my pup all day! She took pictures and sent us updates all through out her stay. My sister did a lot of the leg work day-of as I was a tad busy but my sister was so pleased with all the updates and communication Adriana shared with her. Shoreline Happy Paws was an absolute life saver! And to top it off they were so sweet by leaving us a little wedding gift! We will definitely be using them again when we are in the area!

We are very grateful to have Collins Critter Care! Tasha is reliable and respectful. Our 2 cats are very skiddish. They both LOVE her! Tasha is also very helpful keeping our house in order while we are away, including taking in mail and packages AND feeding the birds for the entertainment of our 2 'babies'. Tasha sends awesome photos of our cats every time she visits. Tasha is also very easy to work with. All of this makes us feel much better about our babies when we are away.

I’m so glad we found Tasha. She went above and beyond to care for my 2 pups while we were away. My lab has diabetes and she did a great job giving her insulin shots and other medications and just keeping a close eye on her. She sent lots of photos so we could see they were happy and well cared for. She even kept an eye on our chickens too. I will definitely use her again.

Tasha Collins is the only one I could ever entrust with the care of our fur and feather babies!! We rescue English Bulldogs who tend to be sensitive to change and over the top stubborn…but our babies adore Tasha…and they know that she adores them as well!! I recently used Collins Critter Care for 30 minute drop in visits for my 2 year old cat. It was a great experience and my kitty seemed very happy and content when I returned. Tasha sent pictures everyday of them playing and it seems like my kitty is more active now than before I left. I will definitely use Tasha again and I've already recommended her to a few people. I started using Collins Critter Care with my diabetic elderly cat--which included having to administer shots twice a day. I was very nervous when the time came for me to go out of town, but Tasha handled everything wonderfully (daily pictures, updates, recommendations) and gave me peace of mind whenever I went out of town. I have a young cat now with no medical issues and I still use Collins Critter Care knowing whatever trouble she throws Tasha's way, Tasha can handle it!

Tasha cared for our cat for 11 days. Pico needs medication twice a day, and Tasha was able to keep her exact schedule, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. She provided us with daily photos and her love of animals shines through with every interaction. We are so pleased with her commitment and care for Pico, and highly recommend her!

We are so thrilled to have connected with Tasha and Collins Critter Care to provide care for our two dogs. Tasha has been working with my dog, Tank, for almost 2 years now. He absolutely adores her and she treats him as if he were her own. Tasha knows all of her clients (pups and people) so well that she sets us up on play dates and gives our pups more social interaction. One of my favorite things about Tasha is that she changes up her walks with Tank frequently. She walks him about once/week and will take him to other parts of town or to her fenced-in yard so he can run around off leash. She is great about being flexible with my schedule and changing what day she walks him when I need to switch. I highly recommend her to anyone in the area!

Tasha is a great sitter!! Very trusting and friendly. She made sure our cat Goose was comfortable and well taken care of. Tasha even went back to our house for an extra visit just to unplug the pet monitor that was in alarm from overheating!! She is wonderful! Martha has been taking care of our two spoiled cats, one which Is diabetic and requires daily shots, for the past year. We feel comfortable leaving our cats in her care sometimes up to 14 days. She’s very trustworthy, reliable, and responsive to our many text messages or emails. She has been very patient with Our diabetic cat, who is also a calico, who is very persnickety and moody. I do not hesitate to recommend her as a pet sitter.

My cat Olive stayed at Gagnon’s Pet Resort while we were away on vacation. I never used a pet boarding service so I was a little nervous and I wanted to find a trustworthy place. Every single employee that helped us was so kind, sweet, and compassionate towards animals. They’re very meticulous with their intake so they know how to best take care of your pets. There was a texting service that I was able to check in and see how Olive was doing. I’m so happy with the service there and will be absolutely booking with them in the future. I have been bringing my dogs to Gagnon's Pet Resort for grooming with Abby for over 7 years now and I have such a positive experience every time. The grooming quality is amazing, the dogs clearly are treated well since they wag their tails when they see their groomer. The front desk staff and assistants are professional, efficient and polite. Gagnon's Pet Resort also makes me aware if there are any issues and my pets are actually inspected while groomed - more than once Abby notices health concerns that help me with the care of my pets. I highly recommend Gagnon's Pet Resourt!

We recently boarded our 6 month old puppy at Gagnon's and I have nothing but good things to say. I would highly recommend it for dog boarding. They are so popular that they do not have availability for daycare at this time but hopefully they will have openings again soon. That staff was super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back

Gagnons has been taking care of our indoor cat, for day boarding while we have major construction happening. They have been more than wonderful with her and have obvious adoration for EVERY pet who walk through their door. The staff are always eager to please. We are grateful they are there during our time of need, and will definitely be boarding her there should we travel.

The staff at Gagnon do a great job! They are all very helpful and happy to answer any questions. My dog attended daycare there regularly and loved It! Sadhana is an amazing resource for dealing with anxious or reactive dogs. She has great instincts and is very knowledgeable. She helped my pet immensely. My words are inadequate to describe how amazing she is as a trainer. Highly recommend Gagnon in every way.

MuttyPaws Academy is an excellent daycare and boarding place for dogs. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is the best facilities for dogs we have ever used. I would very highly recommend sending all dogs to MuttyPaws. Our miniature Australian Shepard loves going there for daycare and boarding!

I rarely board my dogs but whenever I have to I’ve always gone to John Gagnon’s. This was my first experience since change of ownership. My dog is well socialized and stable minded. When I picked her up she smelled of urine and the bottom of her belly was sticky with urine residue. It was apparent to me that she was lying in her own filth. She is not one to soil herself or sit in her own filth unless given no choice. The front desk staff was apologetic but the manager never called me back after I left a message and it’s been 2 weeks later. The neglect management is showing me as a client clearly matches the neglect my dog had experienced.

.We regularly bring our dogs to be groomed at John Gagnon pet resort. They are very busy so you have to book your grooming appointments way ahead of time So my appointment was today, I take the day off work so I can bring them in and pick them up. They gave us a 2 hour window 7-9. I got there at 8:56. Sat there until the girl came and told me the gave our appointment to another customer!!!?!?!!?! That’s terrible business ethics, I have a business myself and couldn’t do this to a good customer. I walked out but wish I stayed and demanded my appointment I was within the time slot. The other groomer in town has no availability! I would go somewhere else in a heartbeat if I could find another groomer!

Gagnon's Pet Resort has been such a gem since I've rescued Rooney. They've worked with him so much to become a better socialized pup and I truly see his growth and give them so much credit for it. They are so professional and knowledgeable. Loving and attentive. Every tail I see coming and going through their door is wagging and all doggies have big smiling faces. It means the world knowing my boy is taken care of so well when I'm at work or away. It's not the closest for me, but Gagnon's will always be our first choice resort. We love you guys 🖤🤍🐾
