honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.
Kelly was flawless, she was a fantastic pet sitter and house sitter. She was over communicating with pictures and updates. We were at total peace knowing Kelly was overseeing Leo and Bella. Kelly connected with our dogs perfectly. We loved how Kelly daily took our dogs for walks and even an extended hikes. She has our full and complete recommendation.
We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
Sharon was by far the best sitter I’ve ever had! From the very first time we connected, she was communicative and proactive with follow up. She asked great questions prior to her stay and I could tell she’s done this many times and that she genuinely cares about the pets and homes she cares for. Sharon went above and beyond to leave my house in ever better shape, cleaning and organizing. It was a dream to come home to! Thank you Sharon!
Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.
Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working. We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime. Our whole family hopes to see her again-either for a visit and/or for a sit :) Thank you, Thank you, Melissa!!!
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.

I have been bringing my dog since he was a puppy, and now he is 15 months old. He is always so happy to jump out the car and run over to greet Debbie. I have even boarded Walter when travelling over seas and overnight trips. The value for you money and peace of mind knowing your furry is safe, played with and taken cared for. No cages. Would highly recommend!
Great place for dogs to burn energy like a bunch of kids in a playground . My rosie gets so excited goin down driveway .
My dog Boomer loves it here. When I drop him off he can't wait to get out of the car. We have had bad experiences in the past at other doggie day care places, where our dog got sick with kennel cough and the fur was matted. Not here amazing care. Debbie and her partner treat every dog like they are theirs. Boomer loves them both. I have no hesitation in leaving our dog here for a day or overnight.
We’ve been boarding our two huskies Hugo and Harley at the Dog Pad & Paddle for two years now. Debbie, the owner is a gem, kind, communicative and most importantly wonderful with animals. We highly recommend the Dog Pad & Paddle to anyone looking for a safe and great environment for their pups while away.
My husband and I bring our dogs to Dog Pad and Paddle. Both of our labs have extreme separation anxiety and we are always so worried about leaving them. Our first time leaving them was back in November for a week. From the first time I met Debbie, I felt very comfortable. Our dogs love going to dog pad and paddle. They have been slowly easing out of their separation anxiety thanks to Dog Pad and Paddle. Plus they are always exhausted when we pick them up which is great too (as most dog parents to labs would understand lol) Also very reasonable pricing. 10/10 recommend!
My dog is here 3-4 days a week. She is so happy and well behaved. She is so excited when we pull in the driveway. This place is a godsend for keeping a healthy happy dog!
Usually have had no problems. I leave my here dog for the holidays because my parents dog doesn’t interact well with other dogs and they have a smaller house. Then we bring our dog along with us to my boyfriends so he can spend holidays with us rather than be caged up for 3 weeks. This was not an issue last year. This year however, it would be a bit of an understatement to say the owner wasn’t flexible with us. She was a bit rude with us as well. I called 2 weeks out and gave an ETA The day we were supposed to arrive we got stuck behind a semi collision for 6 hours. I called her at 2:00pm and told her we would be arriving at 10:00pm with the reason and she said “that’s so late” and tried to make us feel bad because she wanted to except business before her hours the following day “my next customer comes at 5:00am tomorrow…this stuff is hard” I wouldn’t disagree but her hours are posted as 6am-11pm. I was within those hours.
Willow's, 1-year-old Golden Retriever, first sleepover and it was great. I didn't worry, they sent pictures and updates on how she was doing and they were very accommodating with the drop-off and pick-up times. Willow was burnt out from all the fun. The following day all she did was sleep. I will be using daycare and overnight services again. Great way the socialize a pup in a supervised environment.
This is the best place for any dog. My dog loves to run and play and at times just loaf. She gets all this at Dog and Paddle. The dogs have huge and safe areas to play in. My dog comes home tired and happy. Which makes me happy. Deb and Richard treat the dogs like their own. Deb and Richard are professional and kind. The best kind of people to take care of my precious cargo.
This is long overdue! I've been bringing my puppy Mac here since he was very little. He is pretty high energy and a little bit spoiled so he can be a handful. Debbie and Richard have been wonderful taking care of him for day visits as well as overnights. Mac knows when he is getting close to the resort and starts getting excited a few km before we even get to the driveway! He always comes home nice and tired and sleeps a lot after he comes home. Thank you Debbie and Richard! You have been wonderful for Mac and I and we are very grateful to have you.
Our little Abbey has been coming to Our Dog Spot for about 5 years now. When we tell her that she is going to see Colleen and Dale, her ears perk up and she knows she is going to see her other four legged friends. When we take Abbey to Our Dog Spot we have piece of mind as Colleen is the greatest caregiver. We don't mind driving the extra miles to the new "Spot" up the river because it is just the best B&B in the area! Highly recommended!
What can I say about the lovely Colleen and Mr. Kingsley? The warmth and love that my dog Charlie Anne received when vacationing at Our Dog Spot is second to only our own home. The facility is spotless, inviting, dog friendly and welcoming. The window seats are perfect for those canines that like to watch out for their owners. The yard area is a dog oasis. This is the spot to leave your dog...they may not want to come home.
We have been so impressed with Colleen's loving care for our dog. It's reassuring to know that Sadie is in good hands when we're away. Her facilities, experience and knowledge of dogs makes this a fabulous home away from home for Sadie.
Colleen, who owns Our Dog Spot, is the best person to look after 'Ellie' and 'Cal'. She truly understands and loves dogs and she runs a first class establishment. I highly recommend her B&B for dogs.
I highly recommend Our Dog Spot. We have taken our dog, Lemmy, there on two separate occasions while we went on vacation. We have been very happy with the service, and Colleen is a pleasure to deal with.
Great place to bring your family pet. Colleen is very knowledgeable about your furry family member. Richard
Our dog loves going here! It is her home away from home. Highly recommended.
This is such a wonderful spot. Our dog has been a customer for over 9 years now and they are fantastic people.
Our dog Otter loves to visit Our Dog Spot
I have a 12 y/o Samoyed who stayed at Loyalist Barkway Kennels for four days. His back legs are no longer strong enough to get up by himself on slippery floors. I was quite impressed by the care the owner showed in taking care of him, during his stay. John placed a mat in his room to make it easier for him to get up. I also know that John helped him personally in a few occasions. I find him very professional and honest about his business. I would leave my dog to John again in a heartbeat.
I can't say enough good things about this kennel. This is the ONLY kennel I will bring my dog to. As someone who has previously worked in a kennel, I can honestly say John and Rebecca genuinely care about the well being of the dogs and they are the only ones I trust to look after my boy. Super clean facility and large runs for the dogs Rest assured you are leaving your dogs in good hands here.
We have boarded Biscuit (our 4 year old maltipoo) with Barkway before but had her groomed yesterday and she is lovely - soft and clean and mats gone!! Thank you!!
We have boarded our Lab X Shepherd mix with Loyalist Barkway frequently for the last several years, utilizing their extremely professional kennel facilities for both short stays and longer 2 week stays. All of our experiences have been very positive and we feel very confident leaving our dog with John and his staff. Their attention to detail, very clean kennels, large outdoor play areas, and interactive social times keeps our dog, calm, happy, and activated. He always looks amazing when we pick him up.
I 100% recommend Loyalist Barkway Boarding Kennels! John and the team are amazing there and took wonderful care of our dog, Finn, when we had to go away for 2 weeks and couldn’t bring him with us. We decided to try Loyalist Barkway because of all of the positive reviews and after reading through their well laid-out website and FAQs. I like having all of the information up front and forward like that. To help ensure Finn was a good fit with the kennel, and vice-versa, as well as to help introduce him and get him used to the staff and staying there, we had a tour and then a trial stay. We were very impressed with how secure the kennel is laid out. We were also amazed when John took Finn’s leash and led Finn down the hall to his room and Finn walked with him no problem! Finn has always shut down or pulled on the leash when he was unsure of a new place or when someone he didn’t know tried leading him. Thats when we knew he trusted John and was in good hands. Finn stayed at Loyalist Barkway Kennel for 2 weeks while we were away and he was in great shape and in great spirits when we picked him up. John and the team took great care of him and went above and beyond to ensure he was eating too, since he has had a history of refusing food when we are away. Loyalist Barkway Kennels will be our future go-to choice when we need somewhere for Finn to stay, because we will know he is having a good time and is in good hands.
Loved Rebecca's knowledge of dogs -- she gave great advice on my dog's skin allergies. Loved the private space for my older dog and I felt he was safe and secure at Loyalist. I was given a photo and brief update when I asked for them at the one and two week mark of our 3 week vacation. The next kennel stay is already booked.
Harley is a 10 month old massif cane corso mix and is a big happy brute. (lol) He doesn’t realize his size. We needed to have Harley taken care of for a week so we could move and get settled, didn’t want to add the extra stress on him. I took Harley to spend his first visit as he has never been in a kennel before, John was very pleasant and the ground was clean. I was happy to see that. Harley was a little dominant I was told and has to be placed with no other animals. John was very knowledgeable and I appreciated the time he spent with me talking. I am going to send Harley back but just not so many days. Harley is very tired from his one night stay so far.
We just picked up Bo, our 5 month old shepherd-mastiff mix from his first 5-night stay at Loyalist Barkway. This was also Bo’s first time staying away from home so we weren’t sure how he would do. We brought him here as they were highly recommended by a friend who also takes their dog to Loyalist Barkway. He was happy and doing great when we picked him up. He was excited to see us, but it almost seemed like he was a little disappointed to be leaving too! He seems happy and healthy and doesn’t seemed to have picked up any bad habits or lost any of the training that we have been working on. I’m not worried at all about the next time we have to leave him, and I feel like he will be more than happy to go back! John and his team are very professional and seem to have the dog’s best interests at heart at all times. He was able to fill us in on what Bo was up to while he was there. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend!
This is an amazing facility that now includes walking paths and off-leash yards as part of their services. All services are extremely reasonably priced! We have used both the overnight and daycare services with Loyalist Barkway. Both services exceed expectations for the exemplary level of care for our dogs. Clean and well maintained with so many options for exercise. The roomy kennel might be enough for some dog care, but they also exercise (and play with) your dog (to your specifications, including matching with other dogs for socialization/play if you request). Extremely knowledgeable staff, true dog people, who (if you are interested), can provide observational details about how your dog behaved while in their care. Great conversations at pick-up time! We have now tried the walking paths, which are still being worked on, but we had no troubles finding our way through the paths and our dogs had the best times with lots of exploring and sniffing.
Meidän was at Loyalist Barkway for a week and I was so worried about leaving our puppy for so long. Loyalist Barkway took such good care of our pup, the updates and pictures were so reassuring. We will use Loyalist Barkway whenever our puppy needs a day or night away. We can't thank the staff enough for taking care of our fur baby!! We appreciate all the staff and how great they are.

Good place
Angus absolutely loves his time running free on adventure walks with his buds and Nicci. If you are looking for a reliable and dependable agency to take care of your pet needs, look no further. In addition to keeping this active Golden a happy boy, Nicci has helped me tremendously with a couple of crisis situations with my beautiful grey feline. You will not regret booking these services!
Excellent care of our pets! Absolute knowledge of how to train and squash any behaviour issues! Would highly recommend!

I had my Siberian Husky Cola stay at Barkway Kennel’s for a 3 night stay and I was nothing but impressed with their professionalism and care for my dog. They are very friendly and go above and beyond for everyone’s pets needs. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their furry one looked after.
Our dogs had never been at a boarding kennel before, and one of them has separation anxiety. Time was taken to become familiar with the dogs, and to allow the dogs to become familiar with the new environment. When we picked them up 2 days later, they were relaxed and clearly had been well cared for. We will be using Loyalist Barkway again, and have recommended it to friends.
We have felt safe leaving our pups at Loyalist Barkway. John and his team have done an excellent job keeping our anxious/reactive dog feel safe while trying to socialize our younger puppy. They have multiple options for privacy/social play and understand that not all dogs have the same temperament. We started with daycare, then overnights/weekends and most recently had our dogs stay for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. John is great about sending updates and pictures while we were away - we would highly recommend them!
Woof! As a furry guest at Loyalist Barkway Boarding Kennel, I had the most pawsome experience during my stay! From the moment I wagged my tail through the door, I knew this place was something special. First off, the facilities were absolutely dog-tastic! The kennels were spacious, cozy, and had all the comforts a dog could ask for. The staff made sure I had a soft bed to snuggle on, plenty of toys to play with, and even a separate area for my meals. The whole place was super clean, and I felt safe and secure in my own little den. But the best part of my stay was the amazing staff at Loyalist Barkway. They were dog lovers through and through! They greeted me with ear scratches, belly rubs, and lots of affection. I could tell they genuinely cared about my well-being and happiness. They made sure I had regular walks and playtime to burn off my energy, and they always had a smile on their faces when they interacted with me. It felt like a home away from home, surrounded by people who loved and understood dogs. The communication between the staff and my human was top-notch! It made my humans feel at ease, and I'm pretty sure it made them miss me a little less too. It was like having a little paw-some vacation while my humans were away. In conclusion, Loyalist Barkway Boarding Kennel is tail-waggingly amazing! From the fantastic facilities to the loving staff and great communication, it's the paw-fect place for a doggie vacation. I give it four paws up and would wag my tail all the way back for another stay!
Loyalist barkway boarding is one of the best that my dogs visited. Online booking was easy. I received some emails to explain the process of boarding. But the real experience was when I dropped off the dogs. I have to mention one of my dogs has huge anxiety separation issue. For a first time, they ensured they can handle him properly before our departure. I booked the special room. They noted all food intake. My dogs were well taking care. I would definitely go back there.
Great Boarding place for our 3 year Australian shepherd, very clear premises and they make sure all dogs of similar nature are together to ensure safety. Full recommend this place for your daycare and boarding needs.
Glad I found Loyalist Barkway! We will be going away for 2 weeks and needed a safe and fun place for our 2 dogs to stay. We did a trial day and my 2 dogs looked like they had a blast! John and his team helped answered my questions to reassure us about them staying there and said we can message to get picture updates of the dogs, which is awesome! They are given many outdoor play time throughout the day and get to interact and have fun with other dogs! It was also great that they were able to accommodate my 2 dog's boarding stay during the busy season of the winter break! It makes us feel at ease that my 2 dogs will be staying in the same doggy hotel room so they can keep each other comfortable during the stay.
John and his team took good care of our 2 dogs and one cat for 4 nights. Our dogs got to stay together in one room and our kitty got a private room. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly.
We couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience. Boarding your dog can be stressful- for you and for your dog - but John and the team went out of their way to make sure our pup was comfortable and they carefully managed his routine. Highly-recommended!
Wonderful spot to have our sweet maltipoo Biscuit stay. She was there for 4 days and had very comfortable “lodgings”. They take very good care of the pets and she even had a bath!!
Judy and her team are amazing. If you want only the best care for your fur babies Peace of Mind are the ones to call. I would not trust anyone else to walk them or take care of them the way we do.
My family has 2 dogs: 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶 (𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘳 𝘕𝘦𝘸𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥) & 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 (𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘦/𝘙𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘦 𝘔𝘶𝘵𝘵), they both LOVE coming here for daycare! I never worry when the two of them are playing (or vacationing) here, I know they'll be well cared for & that they're having a blast while away from home. The really nice thig for my family is that Pet Pawsitive helped our puppy "𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶" to properly socialize (he's a rescue & never correctly learned how to act around other dogs besides his housemate "𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲"), now Chai has more friends than he knows what to do with! Also our other dog, "𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲", is a HIGH energy girl & being able to drop her off here for a few hours really helps to keep her busy/satisfied. :) 𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚!
We finally found a place that our Miniature Schnauzer actually loves going to! In fact it's the first place she wants to go! They are super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We love that they have play groups tailored to the needs of different dogs, such as small or shy dogs. We love seeing the photos of our dogs day that they post. 100% recommended
Be cautious booking with a service that you pay in full before using booked services. We attended a meet and greet with both dogs. We spent our time disclosing full history of both dogs. Our one dog is a rescue hound with previous trauma from original owner and comes with her challenges. She also has typical hound qualities- barking, hyper etc. she has poor listening skills at times and responds well to a collar when beeped instead of verbal commands. She has never been to a facility before and staff stated she did well during meet and greet and felt like she would pass the next step that was a booked day assessment. Staff had informed they prefer if dogs wear remote collars if that’s what works for them which we explained works for our dog. We booked the day assessment and prepaid as required by this organization. We paid for 2 dogs for a 5 hour assessment. We dropped both dogs off, this again being our hounds first time in an environment like this without owner. Staff had called exactly 20 minutes later stating they needed to be picked up. Dogs were drooling (our dog is a Great Dane all she does is drool) and the hound as well drools when playing outside and when she is thirsty. They stated the hound dog was barking which is normal hound behaviour and as explained to staff prior her collar beep will rectify this however staff did not want to use the collar. Staff indicated this was a sign of her being anxious- very much so as it is her first time being there however these are also usual behaviours for her and will stop with consistent direction. Staff indicated Masey was not friendly with other animals and tried to get away from them and nipped at a dog- also not normal behaviour for her as she is very social. Staff called 20 minutes after drop off for me to pickup both dogs. I attended asap as I would not leave my dogs in a place they were uncomfortable with or a place staff feel it was not a good fit. Hence why we explained our dogs behaviour prior to assessment being booked as we did not want to end up in this situation. Upon reviewing there Facebook page within the 20 minutes they spent there both dogs were photographed playing outside. I’m confused as to how the behaviour was so bad in 20 minutes that they were able to take photographs of the dogs playing if things were not working out. On the site it indicated various trainings staff have especially anxiety training for dogs. After retrieving dogs I inquired about a partial refund as I paid 67.80 for both dogs for 5 hours. I was informed due to policies no refund would be implemented. I understand policies and why they are in place however I believe situations should be looked at and if a services was only used for 20 minutes - no fault of the owner or agency however was not a good fit for the dog, i don’t believe a zero refund policy should be implemented when a service fee is required up front first. Lesson learned. Hopefully no one else has a similar experience. I’m sure the owners will comment with their side as I see on other negative reviews as well. Moving forward I would encourage all staff to be on the same page in order to prevent confusion of animal owners using your services.
Trigger always loves going to Pet Pawsitive. The team at Pet Pawsitive have been so amazing with accommodating Triggers needs. I also love that they post pictures of them daily, but also they keep you informed on how well they did at daycare. Pet Pawsitive is my #1 choice!
I have never met such a talented group of individuals who put their heart and soul into work every single day. The level of care they provide is exceptional. I learned so much from these amazing people in the 8 months I spent working here. Leaving wasn’t an easy decision, but unfortunately some personal conflicts came up. I am forever grateful for the family I earned. Not only did I work here, but I also met my furry best friend, Mocha, who I adopted from one of our clients. I never worried leaving him at daycare because I knew he was getting the best care from his favourite aunties. I speak first hand when I say every pup and cat that enters that building is treated like family! I recommend Pet Pawsitive’s Luxury Pet Resort to anyone and everyone I can, because they put in the effort to make sure their environment is safe for every one of your fur babies. Mocha and I miss you guys! We can’t wait to come visit❤️
What a hidden gem. This business is run with integrity, professionalism and and heart. My "baby girl" loves going to daycare where she is obviously treated very, very well. Tanya definitely runs a well oiled and tight ship. I wouldn't want it any other way. Her requirements have a high standard which is reassuring to me for the safety of all the dogs. The staff is truly remarkable, well educated, highly versed, responsible and just a wonderful group of people. Haven't done the overnight boarding yet, but I fully intend to book there as I do have an upcoming wedding this fall. I recommend looking into Pet Pawsitive if you are seriously interested in finding good quality care for your pooch if and when needed.
Words are hard to express how grateful I am that I found this place. Not only do they provide fun, interactive and loving care they are committed to working through any problems. During covid my dog took a long break from daycare. When she returned she was full of anxiety and was struggling. She was stressed and had withdrawn herself. The staff and especially the owner were open and honest about the issue, they made sure I had the information I needed and worked with me and my dog to make change. My pup is back to fully enjoying her daycare days, this was a long road but I am so glad they didn’t give up on me or my pup. It’s so important for dogs to keep their connection with daycare. Long breaks makes the transition back harder. Consistency is key. We are still working on separation anxiety following covid but with the knowledge and tools I gained from working with the staff things have greatly improved. Highly recommend.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff at Pet Pawsitive! We’re new to the area and we had last minute plans and needed a place to take our dogs and the staff there were extremely helpful and got our dogs in asap! It’s also great as the staff treats the animals there as their own and gives them nothing but love and affection! I Highly recommend them for all your pet daycare and boarding needs!
We absolutely love Pet Pawsitive! Our dog Rogue always has a great time and comes home tired. The staff are very friendly and professional.
I only have to see the pictures that are posted every day to see just how much my Kassie loves going there.I can say that Tanya and her staff are the best.As soon as we arrive to drop Kassie off,she is so excited that she runs to the door with tail wagging 😊 …
Not impressed...poor customer service. Called x 2, emailed as well. A week later when I finally got a response regarding boarding an intact dog...got a "song & dance". They never did respond back with a yes or no. Hope the pet care is not as unprofessional as the owners.
This was my first time using the boarding facility. My small dog was treated wonderfully. Bay view is clean and well maintained. It was a great experience. Thank you Val.
A wonderful place, but they are no longer boarding dogs. Too busy with their dairy farm.
We got our F1B doodle dog from Val at Bayview and she is the BEST dog ever. I will be back to get another when the time comes.
Very knowledgeable staff. Good puppies created here.
Kristen, the owner is a fantastic person who invited us to take a tour of her dog lodge. The lodge is a super nice place for dogs, with multiple large areas for dogs to play and run around. Kristen has so much passion and knowledge about her job and has done an incredible job taking care of her business and every dog that she meets. I recommend Groovytown Dog Lodge to dog owners who are looking to keep their dog active, and who are comfortable with their dog meeting new dog friends!
Our dogs LOVE Groovytown! They go for a hike 5 days/week. They get picked up and dropped off and love the people. Kristen really cares about dogs and the property currently has 2 adventure parks! I highly recommend it for both boarding and just a fun way to get your dog some exercise when you're at work.
I don't think Pickles has ever gotten so much energy out in one day. He definitely enjoyed his first day in doggy daycare as when we arrived, he hadn't noticed us at the front, but his tail was wagging walking around with the other dogs. It was also a hot day today but from the fact he only took a small drink of water when we got home, he was surely well hydrated as just playing in the back yard he finishes the bowl of water when he comes back in. He came back dirty but I didnt expect any less as he probably was having the time of his life.
Groovytown is absolutely amazing! Kristen is a phenomenal business owner and we know our dog Marlo is in great hands when he is there. The entire staff is wonderful with dogs...especially our overly playful, dog-bed-chewing pup. Would recommend in a heart beat!!
We have tried several dog walking, daycare and boarding services in Kingston. We have an Australian Cattle Dog and they need a lot of exercise and can struggle with separation (if you know, you know)! Things we love about Groovytown: - Flexible hours. They have flexible drop off and pick up times. - Daycare timings. Groovytown is one of the few places that offers 12hr days! There aren’t many places that offer this kind of full coverage for those with different schedules. - Facilities. The indoor accommodations are warm, clean, and well maintained. The outdoor area is a puppy playground of outdoor exploration! The acreage is a stunning place for dogs to explore on their own and play with each other on supervised playtimes. There are also snacks available! - Playtime. With a full energy dog, I get a tired puppy at the end of the day, knowing he’s been playing for 8hrs outside, making friends and romping around all day! - Socialization. With all the various dog types, sizes, ages, and personalities this is the perfect environment to help build confident and well mannered dogs. We noticed improved socialization with our dog at the park and in walks after spending time with Groovytown. - Staff. We love having a single point of contact for all things booking, check-ins and scheduling issues. We also love seeing our puppy on our preferred social media platform which allows us to see our guy playing with his friends! We never have to worry about where our puppy will stay when we’re away! We love Groovytown almost as much as our dog. We are always comfortable knowing that our dog is in good hands and paws.
Our dog hikes twice a week at Groovytown and we also board her there when we travel. She loves the hikes, they are great exercise and social time for her, and great for us as she returns a tired and happy dog. She is just as happy when shes boarding there, and Kristen and her team post lots of photos and videos of the dogs staying at the lodge playing and hiking, so I can check in on her and see her having fun during her stay. Kristen and the whole team have been really great with Izzy, and last time I went to pick her up from boarding she didn't want to leave! Highly recommend both hikes and boarding.
Groovytown is the best! My dog Marlo loves going for his day hikes and overnight stays when needed. Marlo goes crazy as soon as he hears the doggy van pull down our street. All staff are amazing, I've never had to worry knowing my boy is in their caring hands. I have a very anxious pup but he never has anxiety going to Groovytown, just pure excitement. Plus, the pick up and drop offs right from your home is so convenient when working full time. You will not regret sending your dogs to Groovytown!! Great, safe, loving place for your best furry friends! Cant rave enough about it!!
Our Newf loves it being at Grooveytown for boarding. Can’t wait to get out of car to join the fun. Staff are awesome! She goes there frequently for boarding. Always drags me off my feet (almost) to get in. Last visit when I was putting her in the car she made a break for it and ran and tried to get back into the lodge. She loves it there and the staff are so good telling me about how her stay went.
Kristen has a wonderful service to offer the area. My puppy is a bit on the energetic side and the way she has the off leash hikes set up is incredible he was so tired when we got him back he went right to sleep. She was also so accommodating to my schedule as I had waited to the last minute and booked him in on a Thursday and needed to drop him off on the Saturday which happened to be my wedding day. Tucker will absolutely be coming back for more hikes with Kristen!
We've sent our dog to Groovytown Dog Lodge on many occasions and he always has a great time. We love that he is not crated all day long and gets lots of exercise. We have also done day hikes which he really enjoys. We notice a big difference in his energy level when we get home from work on the days he has been for a hike. Kristen has been excellent to work with and responds quickly to any questions. My only complaint is that our dog gets very dirty when he's there, and although they dry him off with a towel when he gets home, he's often still quite dirty and smelly when we get home. Our dog has a terrible habit of rolling in smelly things so this may not be an issue for all dogs.
Laurie was amazing. Ruger our Chocolate lab is very active resulting in him getting kicked out of a previous daycare. Laurie took her time with him and as a result he absolutely loves his daycare. He has a best friend there and our friends have noticed a big difference in him. It is the best time of his week when he goes to daycare. An amazing experience for him, I absolutely love this place never seen a dog so happy. Would highly highly recommend this place
Laurie at “All Friends Welcome” is absolutely amazing. It is clear how much she loves her animals and I feel so good and at ease when I drop off my dog. I own a Belgian malinois and it has been challenging to find a good fit for daycare and overnight stays. Laurie is so loving with her and is always kind, flexible and welcoming. I am SO thankful to have found Laurie and highly recommend her services.
Hi folks, we recently had to find a place for our beloved Belgian Malinois to stay while we were away. By chance we came across All Friends Welcome Dog Care. We decided to look into it. A meeting was scheduled to meet Lorie and her dogs. Tilly was made to feel totally welcome and happy immediately. The carefully fenced yard is safe and secure as well as cleaned up regular. During her stay, Lorie sent regular pictures and communication about how Tilly was doing. We considered this above and beyond expectations, I would leave Tilly in her care any time, and whole heartedly recommend her services. If you are looking for a spit and polish business with rows of kennels, this isn't it, if you are looking for someone who is totally committed to looking after your beloved pooch in her home, you will not do better than Lorie !
We bring our shy dog, Stanley, to Lorie for quick play dates as well as longer stays while we are away. Lorie is so awesome, and feels like family at this point. She made sure Stanley has a good fit with her resident dogs before anything, which was really comforting. She sends us photos, videos and texts when she has our pup- and we know she truly cares for all the little ones she takes care of. Can not recommend enough- 11/10
I cannot recommend All Friends Welcome enough! After our pup was sadly kicked out of his previous daycare due to anxiety issues, we were worried about finding the right care for him. However, Lorie stepped in and completely transformed our pup's experience. Her dedication, patience, and understanding have been nothing short of remarkable. Not only did Lorie provide exceptional care, but she also went above and beyond to keep us updated on his progress. Regular updates, photos, and even tips on how to help ease his anxiety showed her commitment to his overall growth and happiness.
We recently went on a trip for 9 days and left our two dogs with Lorie. We were thrilled with the daily pictures and updates on them as it really put our mind at ease and we enjoyed ourselves more knowing they were loved and cared for in a safe place . One of our dogs is higher energy with some compulsive behaviors - this wasn’t an issue for Lorie at all. Our dogs have found a home away from home ❤️
Lorie is great! You can tell she really loves and cares for the dogs. My dog loves it here and is always tuckered right out afterwards. Lories great with working around my work schedule and I recommend her to everyone who’s looking for a dog sitter.
Couldn’t have picked a better sitter for our two pups! Our dogs seemed quite content while in Lories care and loved that she sent us regular updates about how they were doing while we were away. We missed our “kiddos” while on vacation but knew they were in great hands with Lorie. She is kind, caring and very friendly - she’ll treat your fur babies like her own, with an abundance of love! Highly recommend her!
Love it! Our dog Duke loves going over to Lorie's! He always has so much fun there and is loved like he is part of their family too! He's always got a smile on his face in the pictures she's sends us while he's there. We highly recommend!
Lorie is absolutely fantastic. From the very first time we met she has treated our dog, Rooney, as one of her own. I know I can rest easy leaving her in Lorie’s care. Highly recommend!
