Mac, walked my son’s Siberian husky (Logan) for 3 weeks while we were on holiday. Logan loved being with Mac and got very excited waiting for him to come. Mac is obviously experienced and knowledgeable about dogs he is also reliable. Would highly recommend Mac’s happy pets.

Really good friendly service at a good price

Sarah has looked after molly many times and we never have any worries with regular updates/pictures. Chester and Sonny are so good with other dogs it’s nice for molly to have some doggy company whilst she’s at Sarah’s. The fact that her partner Ben is a professional trainer also reassures us that molly is cared for properly. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience with Sarah and her family when we arranged a meet-and-greet for our dog, Sunny. Right from the start, Sarah was super friendly and welcoming. She has a lovely home and two gorgeous little dogs, which made Sunny feel right at ease. We also met her husband, who is a professional dog trainer, adding to our confidence in their care. Throughout Sunny's stay, Sarah kept us updated with lots of videos and pictures, which was really reassuring. We came back to a very happy dog, clearly well taken care of. We're so pleased with the experience that we've already booked our next two holidays with Sunny staying with Sarah. Highly recommend!

My dog Buddy recently stayed with Sarah and her partner Ben, for 5 days while I went on holiday. I was a bit concerned about leaving Buddy, because he is an 11 year old rescue dog that I have had for a year. I was worried he would think he had been abandoned again. My worries were unfounded. Buddy was treated as part of the family. He went for lovely walks and had lots of love. Sarah has a lovely caring way with dogs. I received regular messages, photos and videos. I would not hesitate next time to leave Buddy with Sarah and Ben again.

Absolutely outstanding doggy care. My puppies were treated like part of the family, they played with Sarah and Ben's dogs and took part in all family activities. It is extremely comforting to know that your puppies are in such safe hands and are cared for so well. Sarah goes above and beyond to ensure that your family pets are looked after and I know that my two puppies feel like it is a second home, which alleviates any worries you may have when leaving them. Sarah and Ben both have very deep love and understanding of dogs and this is so evident.

Left our little westie, Cora with Sarah last week. She has never been left with anyone before. Everything went really well and not only was Cora happy but Sarah sent updates throughout the visit. Will definitely be using her again.

Dinky Dogs are first and foremost dog lovers and it shines through in their work. They provides a safe, secure and professional daycare and my pup loves his time there. I feel completely happy knowing he is loved and cared for. It is lovely to see photos and updates and to know Quincy is having a great time. It's a day care for your dinky dog.

Harris Hounds have walked my dogs 3 times so far. And I fully intend to use them again. They are so professional. I met with them at their paddock before the first walk to ensure both they and I were happy with how our dogs were - this is the first time we’ve used dog walkers. I was away for the first walks but was more than happy for them to have a key to take the dogs. I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous about that first walk (one of my dogs is a beagle!), I needn’t have been - both my dogs had a great time and it was lovely to see a video update with them looking so happy! I’d highly recommend Harris Hounds. They live and breathe dogs and are far more than simply dog walkers.

Harris Hounds are in our opinion “Simply the Best” Our Jack goes on regular walks, boards a few times a year and gets groomed by Charlotte at Harris Hounds. We wouldn’t go on holiday and leave him with anyone else. They are such an important part of our Jacks life we couldn’t recommend them any higher. Can’t fault the service we receive from Harris Hounds. Our dog has such an amazing fun time in the paddock. It’s fantastic to be able to watch her via the Facebook postings. Thank you guys, you are doing a wonderful job.

Effie's now had two "walking" sessions with Nikita at Harris Hounds and her posted videos show her being her normal sassy self, playing and interacting with other dogs which means she is quickly learning to be better mannered and understand the signals and body language of other dogs and at the same time have a whale of a time and always comes home happy and worn out. Although only once a week it is a great opportunity for her to grow socially and enables us not to worry about her being left all day once I return to work. But Harris Hounds isn't just about dog walking. We have attended their loose lead and off lead training sessions allowing us to learn more about Effie and how to teach her skills to keep her safe. Also, we have attended several Harris Hounds social/wellbeing sessions with walks in the woods (mainly off lead and ending with a swim in the Plym - the first real swim Effie has had and now she loves being in the water), evening beach runs/swims and lately, the amazing dog social swim at Mount Wise pools before they closed for the season. Harris Hounds seem to work tirelessly and I really don't know where they get the time to do it all. It's been a great experience for us and Effie and feel safe leaving her with them and their expertise.

WOW!! What can we say about these guys. We started using Harris Hounds in March 2024 to look after our little Cocker spaniel while we were away on holiday. We were so pleased with their love,care and attention for the dogs,we decided to carry on. Coco goes with them twice a week. She loves Chris and Nikita,waiting patiently for their knock on the door on a Tuesday and a Thursday. We cannot thank them enough.

Our dog ralphie goes Harris hounds to be groomed by Charlotte! The service provided is top draw! If you want a professional service and great value for money look nowhere else then Harris hounds!! I highly recommend and doubt your find a better dog walker and dog groomer!!!

I took my puppy Lowena for her first groom (she is a white Golden Retriever) Charlotte was gentle and steady with her, with treat in hand led her into her grooming parlour. Where I know she got great treatment, and encouraged to settle in a new place with ease - she got the works, Lowena came out looking like a snow queen and smelling divine. Not stressed and very calm. Since grooming I was so super surprised when I went to bath her (normally a traumatic experience at home with her desperate to vacate the bath tub) she was much more accepting of the bath time and I put that down to her previous pleasant experience with Charlotte - she now knows it’s ok and not nearly so fearful, it made bathing her so much easier. So a massive thank you Charlotte for showing Lowena it’s a great time being bathed. Highly recommend this caring and loving business to anyone. This is Lowena after her pamper session.

Chris has been walking my dog Ruby for some weeks now as I just seem to be so busy with work at the moment and can't give her the time outdoors she deserves. Chris is clearly a dog lover through and through, Ruby took to him the minute they met. After the first free 30 minutes get to know each other walk she was sold and I signed up there and then. I have complete peace of mind when Ruby is out with Chris, knowing that she's in great hands and being well and truly looked after. Ruby loves the interactive and varied walks she has with Chris and the other pooches. An absolutely fantastic service all round and such reasonable prices.

Chris and the team always provide a fantastic service, very flexible and our rather large dog loves all the walkers. Have had him walked for a long time now several times a week and can't speak more highly of them. His recall can at times be poor and that is down to us as owners but Chris always works well with him and his recall always improves after time with Chris.

Took my 10 month old cocker for her first groom with Charlotte today and I'm really happy with the result. She was kind, didn't force her (didn't trim one paw as my pup not happy for her to) and was prepared with lots of treats. My pup smells great and was happy. Charlotte managed her excitable nature brilliantly. Wish we'd raken her from 12 weeks. We'll be back. Thanks again!

Mister Paws has to be one of the best people to look after your dog. Our dog absolutely loved going out with him and would get so excited when he saw his van pull up. We have moved out of Plymouth now and he is really missed! He is really reliable, trustworthy and friendly! Our dog became a lot more confident around others from going out on group walks. Mister Paws is someone who loves what he does and his passion for dogs shines through. Thank you for being so amazing!

Mr Paws 🐾 aka Phil is absolutely fantastic, our pup Scout loves his time with him and the other dogs, be it dog walks or doggy day care. He has the best time and is always super excited when the van pulls up, he barely gives me chance to get the front door open 🤣 Phil clearly loves dogs and the feeling is mutual. He’s also friendly, reliable and flexible. Hard to imagine trusting Scout with anyone else now. Highly highly recommended.

Mister Paws has been popping in to see our puppy twice a week while we are at work and he has been brilliant. We get updates of how she is doing while he takes her out to the toilet and plays with her. Would highly recommend Mister Paws to any and everyone!

I left my Springer spaniel with Mister Paws on short notice, I was welcomed and Bailey seemed to settle quickly. I collected him the next day and was surprised that he was contented and happy. I know in future that I can leave him in good care knowing he will be well looked after. I would highly recommend Mister Paws.

From start to finish, the Mister Paws service offers 5 star quality.Our beloved Labrador had a rocky start in life and only came to us at the age of two and a half. She had various difficulties to resolve and, as a result, we had taken only one week's holiday in seven and a half years. A recent close family responsibility meant that we were compelled to be away for five days and needed a dog boarder that we could trust and rely on to look after our girl as we did. Mr Paws came by way of a personal recommendation but I still felt it essential to satisfy myself. Phil's (the owner of Mr Paws) advance preparation visit was so thorough that it was immediately clear that this would be no ordinary service and the overnight trial he offered provided us with the assurance we needed. So much was impressive: the limits Phil places on the number of dogs he will take at any one time in order that he can supply what emerged as a bespoke service with each dog receiving individual care and attention; the detailed questionnaire he completes on his advance visit establishing our dog's needs; his understanding and patience with her idiosyncrasies; and the home from home in his delightful family who supply all the love and attention any dog could want. Our girl loved them all - and Phil in particular. I suspect that he may well be a "dog whisperer" as there was a clear bond between him and each of the dogs we met when both leaving and collecting our own. Indeed, it took two days for her to accept that her wonderful holiday with 'adventures' and canine company and unceasing attention - and Phil - was over.

Absolutely wonderful kennels! After our last kennels closed down we have struggled to find somewhere we love, for our girls. We are so happy to have found grove nurseries, after seeing so many recommendations and good reviews. We won’t be going anywhere else from now on. Our dogs have come back happy and healthy, the owner knew all about them and how they had been. The personal touch really makes a big difference. Thank you!

We have been using Grove Nurseries for a couple of years now and from day one we have found Grove Nurseries to be very welcoming and they have looked after our Staffordshire bull terrier as if she were their own. We would not even consider leaving our dog with anyone else when we go away. I highly recommend Grove nurseries.
