The first meet and greet, Kate and her colleague came to meet our puppy and go over in detail what was expected during her dog walks, training, habits etc. She also shadow her colleague on the first few days to make sure it was a smooth transition for our girl. We have been customers for almost a year now. 100% reliable, caring, pay attention to detail and my dog loves her caretakers! The best part is our work is both mental and physically tiring so to come home to a happy tired dog is worth every penny. Kate's Pet Care is without a doubt the best I have had in the area. She is so kind and my cat and dog love her. I never have to worry when I am away that they are not getting the best care or attention, and I always get lots of updates on her app about the visits. She offers a great value for what she provides. I tried other services like Becky's Pet Care and had a few really bad experiences. I have a dog, cat, and a fish tank, and she has taken care of all of them.

Kate and her crew are absolutely wonderful. Very reliable and accommodating; they do their research and are more than willing to give individualized special care for each pet. Travis was excellent taking care of my minipig while I was away, following instructions down to a tee and making sure she got everything she needed. I didn't have to worry one bit. The report cards are great so you know how your pet is doing during each visit.

I found Kates pet sitting service after looking for a long time for someone to watch my pets. I have a dog who is very shy but super sweet and most people are scared of him, and won’t give him a chance. Kates team is super patient with him and it shows. They are very professional and I feel very comfortable leaving my pets with them which is hard for me cause they are my babies. I highly recommend them!!

I don’t leave my dogs often, because they need extra care and they are older dogs, but I went out of town for a week, Daryl sent pictures to show me how good they we’re doing .He made feel worry free. I gave him medicine to make sure that the dogs had to take every day. He made sure that was done and he was great!!, also was on time when I dropped my dogs off. No wait time when I picked them up they were well taken care of and in very good hands thank you Daryl will use you again soon😍😍!! Highly recommended!!

I thought I was making the best decision for my pets when I took my cane Corsos to Darryl . I dropped them off . I was met by Darryl he’s pretty nice personality my male is 2 yrs old and didn’t like him at all but he insisted that he stays a young lady that lives near him came up and my male attached to her quickly . I appreciate that I had a place to take them what I don’t appreciate is being called saying my 6 mos old female is throwing up while I was out of town. Then was told on the third day did she eat a blue cloth of some sort? I ask to so me a picture Darryl said he tossed it . My male is shaking his head a lot and my female I was told wasn’t eating so their home and was drinking so much water for about 20min back and forth my male is sleeping and my female is drinking like crazy and she is also eating I feel fleas biting he had my dogs and his drinking out of a small bowl . How sad. I will never return.

Lulu was just a puppy when i got her from the rescue center. After a year of working at home, i’d begun a new position and didn’t want to keep lulu home alone all day long. A friend referred me to Darryl. He has been Heaven sent! I was having some trouble getting lulu fully trained and on a schedule. Darryl helped so much with all of the things we needed. Lulu is happy! She gets excited when we arrive. The atmosphere is clean, calm and controlled. There are lots of “puppy friends” for her to engage with. Darryl remains professional yet personable and he definitely seems to have a great rapport with other owners. Pricing is very affordable and the environment is welcoming. Thanks so much!! We’re going to continue using this service.

I wish there was a -1 rating!!! I have been a dog owner for roughly 13 years, and I've never experienced this level of incompetence EVER! I have boarded my dog in Atlanta, MD, DC, and VA over the past 12.7 years. This "business" was referred 2 me by a colleague, but after my initial visit, I wanted 2 back out but was locked in because of a family vacation during Xmas. Upon arrival, he was late, and the house (feels like his mother's house) reeked of weed. No judgment becuz it was legal, but he could have waited until I left. He said he was/is an Animal Care Techician, but I would argue that the certificate should be rescinded! I gave care instructions that were not followed. When my dog returned, he was sullen. I plan to file a complaint w/ the BBB in his county. Oh, and I forgot, he didn't return certain items and tried 2 charge me a fee 2 mail them to me. DO NOT TAKE UR PET TO HIM!!!

Josephine and Chris are a godsend! We have a very energetic and dog reactive Pudelpointer and they have been taking great care of her off and on for the last 2 years. She gets plenty of love and has been able to socialize with many dogs which is helpful in her behavior training. Highly recommended service!

Chris and his team have been so wonderful! Chris is responsive, and works with my ever-changing schedule, and is great with my dog. I love that he uses the Pet Check technology - I get an email when they arrive, and again when they leave with a note about the walk, and sometimes a picture :) Paying invoices is smooth and easy. After using two other dog walkers, we've stuck with Chris for quite some time now and I highly recommend using him and his team.

We've used Chris and Peticular Charm Per Care several times. They've always done a great job and have been consistent, reliable, and professional. Our dogs are French Bulldogs and they have special needs. Chris and team did a great job with them and the dogs loved them. I highly recommend Peticular Charm Pet Care to anyone who is looking for dog walking services in the DC area. Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. I really trust Peticular Charm to look after my dog and give him the walks he craves in the middle of the day.

Chris and his team of walkers are great. Mark has walked our dog for a number of months and we've been super happy (as has our puppy). Their use of the Pet Check system makes tracking and paying for service so easy and convenient. We have recommended them to several families already and will continue to do so.

I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! Chris is also a very well read, traveled, cultured musician with a fascinating life. My dogs are in interesting company - kinda jealous!

The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!

We met Chris while he was out walking one of his clients and enjoyed talking with him so much, we decided he would be our new dog walker. He is reliable and wonderful with our scaredy-pup. My husband and I recently moved to the Navy Yard area with our 2 cats. We travel frequently, and finding someone new to care for them was a huge stress for us. We selected Saving Grace because of their reviews, and we have not been disappointed. We have used them on three separate occasions, and all three times, Paul Weiss was the caregiver. He leaves daily notes and will send photos if requested. Our most recent trip was two weeks long, and he watered our plants and freshened the litter box. We are so very happy with their service and highly recommend Saving Grace.

I've used Saving Grace Petcare for almost a year now to care for my cat while I'm out of town. They truly are a saving grace! I don't know what I would do without a neighborhood petsitting group like this one. Very easy to drop off my keys before leaving town and they take care of everything. Very attentive staff as well -- I always receive cute photos and updates on how my cat is doing. We have had wonderful experiences with Saving Grace dogwalking and boarding services. Our dogwalker, Selena, is the best! She is very reliable and leaves us notes each day to let us know how the walk was. She was especially wonderful in working with us on special requests when our senior dog was quite ill. We now have a young dog and she is very patient as he learns his puppy manners! Saving Grace has also been a great service for pet-sitting, even over longer holiday trips! Our pets have always been very well-cared for with SG services! Highly recommend if you have pets in the Capitol Hill area!

I've used Saving Grace for cat sitting for at least the last three years. It's almost always the same woman who comes and visits, and my normally shy tuxedo has developed quite a fondness for her. Great service, can't recommend enough.

I've been using saving grace for two years now and have never had an issue. The staff are friendly and always leave a helpful note with a summary of the walk. I would recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. The owner Grace is some gross right winger living in the 1950s. She didn't respect my pronouns and mocked instead, saying she "doesn't care".

Danny walked our senior girl for her last year and he was very sweet with her. He's clearly very comfortable managing all sorts of dogs and combinations of dogs. It made me happy thinking her having a little social life with neighborhood doggies during the week. Danny was also extremely flexible and accommodating with my frequently changing schedule. When we get a new dog we will have Danny walk them too.

We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.

The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. Alexandria Pet Care has been so helpful for our dog. We scheduled 4 in home one-on-one sessions for our newly adopted puppy last year and it was so helpful for her. She was reactive towards other dogs and people but after just one session our dog made so much progress. Alex, the trainer, also taught us the best way to help with her anxiety and how to continue making progress with her after our 4 sessions were completed. Alex has also been helpful answering questions via email since our sessions have ended, and at no charge.

We can see the difference now. Although she was hesitant at first, she loves doggy day care now and she is always excited to see RuthCarol! Our 110 pound Golden Retriever, Farley, has been staying with Ruthcarol and her family ever since our former dog walker let us know about Beasties at least seven years ago. Farley loves to go there. All we have to do is mention a visit to the "doggie hotel" and Farley goes nuts, spinning in circles. When he gets picked up for his visits with Ruthcarol, he doesn't even look back. Ruth has been our pet sitter and I always feel comfortable leaving my cats in her care. She is a super warm person who I knows really cares about our little pets! We hired Quality Time to take care of our retriever and cat. They offered a lot of other services, like watering plants, bringing in mail, etc. I appreciated the attention to detail for both animal care and the logistics for the house.

Quality time is made up of caring professional people. When I had need for a mid-day dog walk they were more than glad to cover that. When I had need for an evening visit they were there for me. They are bonded and insured and love working with pets.

We recently boarded our dog at Fuzzy Critters for a week, and she absolutely loved it! The boarding stay was incredibly caring and attentive, providing regular updates that put us at ease. Fuzzy Critters has been a life saver! Our dog Maple absolutely loves going there. She starts whimpering when she realizes we are getting close and then bounds out of the car to run into Jessica's yard, leaving me in the dust. She loves hanging out with all the other doggies and still being in a home environment with access to the outside. Highly recommend!

Jessica is an amazing person who really cares about the dogs who are staying with her. Our Pepper (pit/lab mix) had a great time with Jessica. Pepper stayed for a week and every time we walk past Jessica's house, she tries to get me to let her go say hello to Jessica and her dogs. I started taking my dog, Missy, here during the pandemic and she LOVES it. Whenever we get close to the house, Missy starts jumping and getting super excited and almost busts out of the car door! I love leaving her with Jess because they treat Missy like one of their own furry family members with cuddles and playtime - and that means a lot to me.
