Rebecca was wonderful. It was our first time boarding our puppy at her kennel and she took the time show us around, explain their routine and what to expect. We also talked before taking our baby there when I was booking her stay. The facility was really nice. Clean, bright and open. The floors were heated and I knew our puppy would be safe there. Every door to the outside had another door so no dog could escape the building if they got loose inside. I was very pleased and knew I had nothing to worry about with our baby being there. This is definitely going to be our regular kennel every time we go to Edmonton now.

We came here on a recommendation. We have not been disappointed with any of our visits. The dogs love coming here.

Went to Queen of Hearts pet grooming on site here. Chelsea and her team did a fabulous job on our very matted dog. Spoke with Rebecca on the boarding side and she was very informative about dog boarding. Their rates are very reasonable given the tremendous attention the dogs get. I highly recommend this place.

Country Lane is absolutely the best! We toured and interviewed at least 5 different kennels before deciding to go with Country Lane and couldn't be happier with our choice. We've used them 4 times in the past couple years now. Our dogs are like our kids and we didn't kennel them for years because we were scared to leave them after hearing terrible stories on the news about kennels. But from the moment we walked into Country Lane we had a good feeling. The place is so bright and clean! The building is climate controlled. They have a number of different dog runs and kennel sizes. The best part is that they're organized; they keep very detailed notes about each animal and the feeding/care they require. Every dog gets personal attention and the dogs get lots of rotations to go outside. The staff post pictures to their facebook page daily, so you can check in on your pet while you're away. Rebecca (the owner) truly cares about the animals staying with her. We have a senior dog that requires some extra care and she always goes above and beyond our expectations to ensure he has a good vacation. We come from Sherwood park and it takes about 25 min to get there. Even if you're coming from the City, it's well worth the drive to have a place you can trust with your pets. The prices are competitive and fair, especially since this is a premium level of care.

I can’t recommend this facility ENOUGH! I would give it MORE than 5 stars if I could. I had my reservation booked for 5 dogs, (YES, 5 dogs!) and Rebecca was SO amazing from when I first called her. It was my first experience leaving them at a pet boarding facility and she made it so easy. She gave me a tour months before, it’s clean, safe, and I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs in their hands. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that everyone there has a love for animals and just wants to give them the best care possible. Rebecca was SO accommodating, I had to change my boarding dates last minute and they accommodated me without ANY issues! They even posted photo updates on Facebook of our fur babies! Leaving my pets at Country Lane Boarding eased ANY anxiety I might have had, and it was the best experience possible, for me and my dogs! I will always recommend them! 🐶♥️

Rebecca has a love for animals that manifests itself in every aspect of this business. I was given an extensive tour of the facilities during my first visit. This left me with a much appreciated feeling of trust and every assurance that my boys were being well cared for here. They always come home happy and healthy after a stay at Country Lane.

I 100% highly recommend this place for boarding. Becca went above and beyond, was super quick to answer all my questions, invited me for a tour prior to dropping him off. When I picked my pup up all his things were neatly packed. She took the time to go over his week. She washed his bedding ( he does get messy with his water). And he smelt the same! And he was his usual happy self!

Country lane provides top quality care! The ladies are amazing and the dogs have so much fun!

This place is fantastic! This was my first time using a kennel, and I will gladly use this kennel again. My dog came home happy and with the Facebook photo updates that are posted, I can tell he had a blast. I definitely recommend this place.

I can't say enough about Brigitte, Barbara, and the whole team at Steel House! The environment they have created is so warm and welcoming, and they've been so kind to us and our pup, Tidbit, that I can't imagine leaving her anywhere else. The facility is fantastic, and when she is boarded we get regular pictures to keep us connected. I know it's a great place because Tidbit is just as excited to be dropped off as she is to be picked up!

Steel House Doggie Daycare is the best around - Poppi has been going to daycare since they first opened in 2019 and she loves it there. Bridgett and Barb are the best daycare masters! Poppi can't wait to go to daycare once a week and when I drop her off she is the happiest fur-babes for the day! Thank you Steel House Doggie Daycare for looking after our fur-babes as their own. Best doggy daycare. So much space for fun, socialization and exercise. A great group of littles. Bridget is the incredible. She loves our pups like they are her own.

I was initially hesitant to bring my two dogs to daycare strictly because they're both very nervous & required a bit more attention. But then I ran across a post on a group that I'm in recommending this daycare stating that the owner was very nice, she cared, she took time with your dogs & that it was only for small dogs. Well, it's been a few months since my dogs have attended this daycare, and I can't recommend this place enough. It's to the point where both my dogs are SO excited to go to daycare. They run in to greet Bridget and any of her other helpers. They're not so skiddish anymore. They have so much room to run around. They honestly love it there. To top it all off, to show their thanks (the daycares), they do the cutest little photoshoot of your dogs!

At the steel house They truly love all the dogs and it shows! My pup absolutely loves playing with her friends here and we are so thankful to have a fun safe place for Boo to socialize and burn some energy!!

Steel House Doggy Daycare is an amazing daycare. It has a large, spotless area inside and a huge yard for the puppies (all small breeds) to play, socialize and run around. Bridget and Barb love all the dogs like they are their own. Our Murphy cannot wait to get out of the car when we arrive. He is so happy when I say we are going to daycare. I highly recommend this doggy daycare. It's the best!!

We love this daycare! Truffles is very shy and hesitant around other dogs including her own size and coming to this daycare once a week has helped her get the socialization she needs. Bridget and Barb are amazing and are always easy to reach. We have done daycare and boarding with them and had amazing experiences!!! :) Bridget (owner) gave us amazing updates of Truffles during boarding which helped ease our worries for trying out boarding for the first time! Truffles loves coming here every week! :)

We chose Steel House Doggy Daycare to have a home away from home for our pup Beau. We never felt comfortable leaving him with anyone other than family, but Bridget and Barb are very attentive to every dog there. We know Beau is supervised at all times and he loves when he gets to spend the day there with all his furry buddies. He gets so excited when we get close to the Steel House, he can’t get in fast enough! The facility is spotless, they are immediately on top of any clean up duties! We used their boarding service as well when we went on vacation and we felt very comfortable doing so, Beau even gets to sleep in a bed which is just like home. This is the first and only doggy daycare we have used and we highly recommend it!

This is definitely the best doggy daycare out there. My dog is shy and gets nervous of new people/places. He warmed up to this daycare and Bridgette & Barb so quickly. Now he gets super excited anytime I drop him off. He loves them and all his doggy friends. I love how it’s a daycare for small dogs. They get so much space for them all and all the love!! Highly recommend.

Our Maltese puppy has been coming to the Steel House weekly for the past 6 months now. We simply cannot overstate how impressed we are with the people who own and operate this facility, as well as the facility itself. Our puppy absolutely loves coming here and has an incredible amount of fun all day long with the other dogs, which is evidenced by the fact that she sleeps all evening after being here. Brigette and Barb are amazing with all the dogs. We highly highly recommend the Steel House Doggy Daycare.

Please do not send any pets here. This lady is dangerous. I had left my pups here for a month a golden retriever and a maltese.I paid extra much more than what they charge at the city so they can get personalized care. I come back a month later, both dogs nearly dying.lost all weight. One seizing due to hypoglycemia. I was heartbroken. She used to tie them up like horses on long leashes and leave them all day. All along she provided no info on the health of the pups. Im not over reacting but Im writing this to warn people about this place. I didnt even ask her for a refund. Beware.

Hands down, best doggy daycare and over night dog sitter you can find! Our dog Rocket loved going here, and it is impressive how the owner takes such great care of all the dogs. We have tried other kennels, even highly recommended ones, but they locked our dogs up and created so much anxiety for our dogs. Awesome doggie den treats them like they are treated at home, they hang out with the owner. The dogs are not locked up or placed in metal cages they are exercised and loved. Great place to board your dog. The drive is manageable. I take my dog here, and it's not a cement floor but ceramic tile along with a bed in each kennel. The kennels are private, and there is a door so the pet can go outside. They have an all enclosed walking path as well.

Our one dog Riley has been going to daycare here since August 2023. Donna and Allan are great with him! I'm always happy to know he had a fun day playing with his doggy friends 😊 …

We have been using the services at Paws a While since 2019. Our dogs never love to be away from us, but when they stay at this kennel we have peace of mind that they’re together, have outdoor access, and get to run on the acres of land multiple times a day. Plus Donna, Al and Gram are the nicest people - and love all the pups like their own.

We booked an hour-long self guided walk at this beautiful, fully fenced private dog park. The dogs had so much fun, amd to escape the city for a bit of Peace was so priceless. I highly recommend you go. There is a fire pit, barbeque and chairs to sit on, playground equipment for kiddos is everywhere, amd the whole place is yours for the time you are there. Amazing value for the money too.

My dogs and I just love this place. The off leash area is beautiful and well cared for and the family that runs it is amazing. The drive out there is always well worth it. I would recommend it to anyone

Took the beasts to partake in the 3 acre fenced in walk. They loved it. Nicely kept property. Popped into the kennels which looked and smelled clean. Great spot.

This is a fabulous place that our daughter uses all the time and we pick up or drop off for her occasionally. They are incredibly friendly, amazing with the dogs, and have great facilities. We've never experienced any problems. These guys are great!

First visit and I am very happy with choosing Paws a While. Donna and her husband are friendly and you can tell they love what they do. Very clean facility with lots of room for the dogs to play. Highly recommend this facility for your fur babies

The most wonderful kennel experience. Our dog started going here when he was only 5 months old, and his experience was so positive. He loves going back, and is so happy every time we pick him up. The owners are friendly and have a heart of gold. They have clean kennel spaces and let you dog run free & play with the other dogs 3x/day. The space for them to run is securely fenced, has toys for them, water to swim in, and trees to roam through. The owners take pictures so you can see how much fun your dog is having, and our pup is always bounding with a big smile on his face!

Used the private dog park here one day and it was so awesome. Fully fenced safe space for my doggos to explore and sniff, and a great value! The owner Liz and her son are incredibly kind and helpful humans. Would recommend ☺️

Checked out the dog park today and wow! Did we have fun. Want to let your city dogs experience country life this is your place. So many smells and lots of room to run. Quick ride from Leduc, so definitely will be back.

They looked after the dogs and they survived. That’s the best I can say about them. We had asked for pictures and updates and they didn’t send anything. I gave them food and treats and I came back to an unopened bag of treats. The gentleman was rude to speak to and was annoyed that my dogs had done their business indoors (shock that a dog would do that in a place where other dogs have done it). Then they have the audacity to ask for $25 per dog for cleanup and accidents. No way does it cost that much to clean. Their home isn’t the cleanest and most tidy so how would that help. To these guys, it’s all about making money and doing the bare minimum. Would not recommend if you care for your dogs and need updates. If you just want them to survive while you are away, then this is for you.

This place is amazing. Liz was fantastic with our Pyrnees/Anatolian Sheppard cross that demands to only lives outside. Our dog is not an indoor dog which made it hard to find someone who would care for her and let her live outside the whole time and overnight. This worked out beyond perfect for our dog Lily and she didn't even want to come home at the end of her week there she loved it that much! Highly recommend It's a Dog House to anyone looking for a great home away from home for your pup especially any farm dogs. Thank you Liz!- Paige &Lily🐶

We take the dogs here as much as possible. It's a gem right off the highway with secure fencing, walking paths and privacy. Very clean and also has a very friendly lady who runs the place. Would highly recommend!

Great private dog park. We met with a bunch or our dogs siblings and families. 10 bucks for the first dog and 5 bucks for each dog afterwards. Book in advance and you get the place to yourself.

We have two young Shelties that needed care from Heidi for 4 days. This was somewhat an emergency considering the person that had agreed to do the job, cancelled 9 days before my wife’s flight to Vancouver. I have had 2 failed spinal surgeries and can’t get out of bed to let them out so scheduling Heidi for 3 visits a day was great. We had Heidi come over for a meet and greet to see how the dogs were with her and after half an hour they mellowed out and Heidi was able to get them close to her for interaction. You can tell Heidi is an excellent fit with any animals while we watched her interact delicately and getting down to their level to reduce any tension. She was so patient and loving towards them both and they got along famously. Seeing this went well so we had her come for another one on one visit to further the dogs familiarization with her. This too went flawlessly. Every visit was on time and very professional encouraging the dogs outside and back in. Heidi also cleaned any mess’s and catered to other needs. Heidi’s service is a 20 out of 10 going the extra distance other companies don’t. Heidi herself is very pleasant and knowledgeable about animals and will treat your fur babies as her own. We definitely would employ her services again. We were so happy with her service that we paid her more than what she was asking for a premium service and paid her for the time she offered as a free meet and greet as well as the second one. Had to find someone on short notice to watch our pup as a family member was no longer able. Heidi visited 3 times a day while we were away and our pup loved her. Very trustworthy and we'll definitely use her services next time. So glad we found Heidi!

Heidi has been taking care of our cat for the past four years whenever we are away. She is completely reliable and very responsive, I often text to find out how things are at home and will always get a timely reply back. She is trustworthy and her rates are reasonable. I was stuck in a tough spot with my wife going into labor early and some minor complications and Heidi helped me out last minute for over a week coming to my house. I don’t trust too many people with my dog and she did a wonderful job especially to accommodate me and my dog loved her. And my dog is on a few different medications and she took care of that too. Great communication, she loves all animals and now I have someone dependable to watch my dog ! Thanks!

Recently left on a month vacation and had our cats watched by Heidi. Both are seniors and it was the first time I had left them alone with someone who wasn’t family and I was a little nervous as one of my kitties is very anxious and skittish. Needless to say, Heidi befriended, not one, but BOTH of my furbabies to my absolute shock. The cats loved her, and I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter to watch our kitties :) Thank you for being AMAZING <3

Heidi took care of my four cats while we were away for two weeks. Just before we left to catch our flight, one of my cats got outside and wouldn’t come back in. Upon my request, Heidi made an extra trip to make sure he came back in while we were away. Everything was great when we got home. Thanks Heidi!!

We have been using Happy at Home pet sitting for a few years and heard about the company through a neighbour that also used the services! Heidi is awesome! She is friendly, reliable, and truly cares about our two dogs and two cats. She comes by every week day to walk our large Cane Corso dog and makes sure our old dog goes outside as well! She has utilized our training tips and tools as we requested when walking our large dog and has even given us great suggestions! She always updates us on how the walks go as well!! Heidi also checks in on our cats when we are out of town and gives us updates. When she is on vacation or away she will do her best and have someone cover her. I would highly recommend her for all of your fur babies!!!!

Used Heidi at Happy at Home Pet Sitting for roughly 5 years before moving out of Sherwood Park. Amazing service! So good with our pets and some not-so-easy to walk Basset Hounds. Happy at home pet sitting was so integral to making our schedule work that it made the decision to move away so much more difficult as I don't know if we will be able to find someone so helpful and reliable. I am comfortable recommending Heidi to anybody I know! Also very reasonable pricing!

I’ve had Heidi roughly 5-6 times in the past 6 years to look after my cats when away. Whenever I’ve come home, they appeared very well taken care of and comfortable with no indiscretions apparent. Heidi has a very good vibe with animals, as I’ve witnessed my cats coming to greet her when we meet before hand.

Had the worst experience with Pat today! She was extremely rude to my daughter and I and then proceeded to hold my little dog so tight he was trying to get away from her. She squeezed his little paws so hard he was whining and crying! I feel like I failed him by taking him there and have now learned of many unhappy customers. One employee quit because Pat was so mean to the animals. Please do not take your pets there, they deserve better!

Took my pup here for a last minute nail trim, she squeezed us in no issue, pup did great and his nails look better than when he gets them done at the vet.

Very attentive to my dog, she had never gone to a groomer before so she had some anxiety but they were very careful to make her feel at ease.

I have found Whispurring Tails (Juliette) to be a wonderful service. Juliette is professional and truly cares for the animals she takes on. Juliette went above and beyond what I expected of her, such as clearing snow and taking care of issues in the house. I loved having daily email updates while I was away and impressed by how well my cats took to Juliette. Knowing Juliette is available makes me confident in going away because I know my house and cats will be well taken care of.

I have had Juliette cat sit my pet on 2 occasions to date and have been very pleased with her care. My pet really enjoys Juliette's personality and level of care. Juliette is GREAT with animals. I would not hesitate to recommend her services.

Juliette provided caring and professional pet sitting, and with and with her updates I felt like I could relax and not worry about my cats, and that there were no house emergencies. I would highly recommend Juliette for cat sitting! She went above and beyond caring for our two cats while we were away. On top of the regular feeding, cleaning litter boxes, changing water fountain and water dishes...she did what I valued the most and spent time with them by playing, combing, snuggling and being company for them. Juliette is very professional with the many other things involving the care of our home...like open/close curtains, turn on/off lights, shovel snow, take out garbage, check mail... I would highly recommend her for cats and I'm sure she's great with dogs too!

Very happy with Juliette's service. Juliette has been walking our 2.5 year old female English labrador for four months. She provides daily updates with pictures for every walk and our dog looks forward to seeing her. From a business standpoint, Juliette is very professional. She shows proof of insurance and she is trained in, among other things, animal first aid. She also provides formal invoices for her services and accepts payment by e-transfer. This is the person you want to trust with your animal. Highly recommended.

Great experience. There are few people who aren't close friends or family that I would trust with my pet, but I trust WhisPurring Tails. I was so impressed with how professional, prepared, and friendly Juliette was, and how thorough she was in her pre-questions to ensure she was prepared for every possible scenario. She was also very flexible with meeting me for key pick up/drop off and was available on short notice. She also sends a picture when she is there so you can see your pet is happy and well! Gives me a lot of peace of mind when I can't be there. Will be using this service again.
