Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!

Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. What a lovely couple Tara and Tyler are. They had been in Scottsdale about six weeks before the house sit. and can to meet us. Rusé, our Toy Fox Terrier, fell in love with them immediately, and was in Tara’s arms within two minutes. We always like our sitters to arrive the day before we leave, take them out to dinner and get to know them. It was quite apparent from the videos and photos we received, that Rusé did not miss us. Tara and Tyler’s three grown up children joined them before Xmas-to Rusé’s delight as these were additional hands to throw his rubber bones and balls. The house was all clean and tidy, when we returned.. There is a strong possibility that Tara and Tyler will move to Arizona from Montana, with two of their children, recently moved to the area. They have already offered to look after Rusé in the future. We know he would love it. We cannot recommend Tyler and Tara higher enough, they were perfect House and Pet sitters

Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. K & C gave us pics & updates as requested, and we loved seeing our pets have such a good time with them! They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! We've been taking our dogs to Doe Creek for years. Best kennel you could ask for! They are professionals and pay attention to your dog's wants and needs. Kennel is very clean, dogs have their own rooms and lots of space to run and play. Our dogs love going there and we have peace of mind knowing they will have the best care! I have taken my grand dog(for my daughter) for several years to Allison at Doe Creek Kennels. Kirah, (Siberian Husky) love it there!! It is so organized and the dogs are watched and played with so you can leave them and feel totally confident they will be fine. She will even occasionally send you a picture of your dog playing and a text of how your dog is adjusting. When vacationing, my daughter always contacts Allison ahead of time. The kennels are clean and tidy and you can leave without any hesitation that your dog will be cared for properly!! Thanks Allison and staff!!!
Our dog has been going to Doe Creek Kennels for many years, ever since they first opened their wonderful facility. The staff there has always treated him just like a member of their own family. Our dog Junior is always happy and excited when he figures out he is heading to Doe Creek. He knows he will get personal attention there and lots of time to play in the yard with other dogs. We love this place!
I used this place for my three precious pugs several years ago. (like 2012 - 2016 ish) Sorry it took me so long to leave a review. They were fantastic! We used them several times. The pugs LOVED it here. My senior citizen Shelby was special needs and blind, and she did well, too! I remember being concerned she'd fall into their pool, but the staff were super attentive and kind. I received some pictures via text of their stay. The pugs were super well cared for. I left them here numerous times for several days at a time. It is truly a very exquisite and special place on earth. I live in a massive metroplex now and NOTHING like this exists where I'm currently at. What you guys have is very beautiful and unique! I miss you guys!!
Hawk has always felt welcome and comfortable at Doe Creek. When we pick him up he's happy and we get great feedback about how he behaved and who he played with the most. The folks there give him goodies that we supply and they feed him like we do at home. He well cared for and we keep going back. Love the folks there!
We left our furbaby a few days ago.for 3 days it was great experience for him and us. Allison was so nice when I text her the first night.we don't go away much but will most definitely use them again if we need too. Thank You so much.

You won’t find better care, friendlier service, and more reasonable prices than anywhere in Blacksburg. We have been utilizing their services several times per year for 4 years and never had reason to complain.
We have used Heartstrings for a total of 4 of our pets over the last 10 years. My in-laws have had at least as many during that time too. All of our animals love to go here. Rick and his staff live up to their promises and love our furry friends.
Highly recommended for dog boarding and grooming. The on site groomer does a great job for a fair price. And unlike most kennel experiences, my dogs don't come home stressed out. Great facilities and services.
Not from the area and moving cross country by car. I was traveling with no set plans or guides or idea what was coming my path. I needed to board my 4 cats on a whim and called this place and they had a place for them to stay overnight. I was very impressed with their professionalism and friendliness and ability to accommodate me and my cats! Asked all good questions to ensure my cat would be taken care of just like how I would at home while I was away. I had no doubt that my cats were safe and well taken care of while leaving them there. They had space to play and hide and do normal kitty things. They even let me come and see how the room looked like and let me in the room to ensure they were going to be ok. Great and cozy environment and awesome staff. Thank you so much for this!
They really care about our dog, and are always so happy to see her. She has a great time at daycare! We have also used their boarding services, and she gets top notch care while she is staying with them.
This place was great. First time using them right before Christmas and they were a blessing and fit me in before having to leave for the Holidays. My dog has had back leg problems (torn right ACL and then when that healed his left knee cap popped out of place and he is still recovering), which they very graciously took into account. After I got him back from his haircut he was feeling even better than when he first got in. I will absolutely be using them in the future. Thanks to every one who works there.
I took my cat here for his first grooming ever. They were wonderful with him and the staff was friendly. They didn't mind that I wanted to stay and watch him be groomed especially since it was my first time having him groomed. The facility is very clean which is a big deal to me, and you can tell they love all the animals that come in. I will definitely be back!

Our dog has been to this wonderful place twice, but both times he came back lethargic and with an upset stomach that the Vet attributed to bacterial infection. Since almost all the reviews are very old, weld love to learn from more recent experiences!!
