Amazing service! We recently booked Animal Aunts for the 1st time for a weeks house and cat sitting. We were initially wary of having anyone staying in our home, but as our cat is a very nervous rescue cat he needed someone around most of the day. Animal Aunts are highly professional and screen all of their staff and they provided us with a lovely lady to care for our house and our boy whilst we were away. He was so calm when we returned and was even pining for her when she left! The house was immaculate on our return. I highly recommend Animal Aunts to care for your home and furry family members.

We have recently come back from our first family holiday. We have never left the dogs with anyone before so was a bit worried as they are not the easiest of dogs and one of them can be a bit nervous around other people but the dogs had a great time with Jo. We had daily updates which really helped and our nervous dog really bonded with Jo. On our return our house was spotless which was an added bonus. Thanks Jo for looking after our dogs and house so well. We will definitely be booking you again. 😊

Animal Aunts offers a fantastic service. This was my first time using them and I only gave a week's notice for them to find me a house/dog sitter for a full week. From the moment that my call was taken, I immediately knew that I had made the right decision and felt completely relaxed that they would find someone suitable. The whole process was very professionally dealt with, I have a dog who is almost 12 and has to have regular medication and Auntie Penny called me to arrange a pre visit. My dog Poppy and I immediately warmed to her and I knew that I was leaving everything in Penny's very capable hands. When I returned Poppy looked very happy and healthy and the house was immaculate. Auntie Penny had kept me updated each day with photos and where they had been for walks. Penny was amazing and we both miss her! I will definitely be using Animal Aunts again.

We have used Animal Aunts for many years, and have been happy with their care and we have entrusted them with dogs who needed 24 hr care. In June this year we went away, we left our 3 year old dog and our almost house trained rescue dog,along with 2 cats and several chickens and a Cockerell. We informed Anima Aunts that our dogs couldn't be left, a occurance that has happrned year on year with various dogs, with no issues Problems started with Aunt Joan, when she failed to reach out to us, eventually Animal Aunts got her to contact us. We had a chat and sent the dogs and other animals daily routine and asking for driving license details. Again nothing for a few weeks, we got worried. My husband contacted Animal Aunts and despite my concerns didn't ask for a different aunt. Eventually we got Joan's husbands details fir the car. When they arrived they seemed very disengaged, they weren't that interested in knowing about the animals etc. I was concerned they wanted a free holiday in Cumbria. We left for the airport,after a few hours we got a text asking how long the dogs could be left! Despite usmakung it clear, that they should not be left unattended, she seemed rather tàken aback. On the Tuesday, having departed on the Saturday, we had to ask how the animals where! This is despite us asking them to contact us daily, something all the other Aunts had done. To say we were concerned was an understatement. When we returned the following sat, after Scant communication, we arrived to be told our not really house trained dog was crate trained, the truth , given via Aunt Joan as praise, was far from it. The poor girl was so scared,she'd had an accident in the bedroom on the first night, and they locked her out of the first floor and let her roam, ruining downstairs carpets. They also were asked to take them put before 10am, as it it was during the heat wave, but the doorbell camera proves it was much later. Although Animal Aunts refunded the extra payment for 24 hr care, which we have never encountered before in many years of using them, we feel they should regularly inspect their Aunts. Also they should send a feedback form We won't be using them again after this experience. We have a while to post this review as we wanted it to be considered rather than knee jerk reaction

Animal Aunts are amazing. We have a tricky dog who we couldn't leave with just anyone. Stephen always goes beyond the call looking after our dog, our home and even us on our return! Thank you so much.

Our Animal Aunt Jim has been coming and looking after our dogs and house for 13 years now. He is always friendly, professional and reliable. The dogs love him and I know I can totally relax when we go away as he has everything under control and the dogs are happy. I don't know what we would do without him! Thank you Jim and Animal Aunts.

Having contacted Animal Aunts to provide someone to look after our menagerie of 6 horses, 2 dogs and 1 cat to cover our wedding we were extremely impressed with the person sent out. We would have absolutely no hesitation using Animal Aunts again and think our animal family would be very happy to see us go and their 'aunt' return to look after them again!!! Cannot recommend highly enough, brilliant service!

Have been using Animal Aunts to look after our animals while on holiday for about 20 years. Always very happy with the service. This year Joan and Steve had to contend with a horse on box rest with a badly cut fetlock which needed dressing every other day while we were away. Nicely bandaged and wound healing nicely. Without the Aunts we would have had to cancel the holiday as the accident happened just before we were due to leave.

A great company who have often helped us out at short notice. Not the cheapest solution but justify this with the great service and professional team of Animal Aunts.

Marita was an absolute star, She helped me in an emergency with my dog and cat at home and made sure they were walked fed and happy , 100% recommended

Marita is an absolute life-saver! She goes out of her way to help us whenever we need day care and we know that our pup has a fantastic time running around and playing all day. He always comes home very tired and very happy! Marita is hugely knowledgeable and has been a wonderful sounding board for us as we have raised our first puppy. Two years later, we feel very lucky to be able to leave him with someone who we know will always take great care of him.

Brodie - our very mischievous Cairn Terrier - was fortunate enough to spend his holidays with Marita just after Christmas and what a wonderful happy time he had there! He thoroughly enjoyed playing and socializing with the other dogs (and cats), spending time at Marita's heel and generally enjoying life and the freedom to run unrestricted, whilst his people family were on holiday in far off lands. At the end of his stay he had a lovely haircut and grooming session (Excellent results!) and we collected such a happy dog on our return. All in all we are so very pleased to have met Marita and relieved that it was such a stress free experience for Brodie too. We cannot recommend her highly enough and Brodie hopes to spend many more enjoyable days there. Marita is a true animal lover and such a lovely, kind, caring person too. We cannot fault our experience in any way!

Our Tibetan Terrier started having his regular trims with Marita and loved his time there so much that he now goes for sleepovers when we go away for weekends or holidays. He is always excited to be dropped off to spend time with his doggy mates giving us huge peace of mind. Marita provides a professional and flexible service, which is very reasonably priced. I would recommend her to family and friends.

Marita done a fantastic job cutting our Black Russian Terrier/Giant Schnauzer cross. It was his first hair cut, so alot of puppy hair needed to be cut off. He looks so smart and handsome, he looks and feels like velvet now. 5* review I would definitely recommend anyone to come and use Marita's Animal Care, the love she has for animals is extraordinary. Marita has been fantastic with Baghera our cat. When we come home he’s always a happy chap which for us is superb. It really nice to know we can go away and actually switch off knowing we can genuinely trust Marita to care for him. We also get periodic updates which is lovely reassurance. Our Labrador has been going to Marita two or three times a week for nearly two years. He loves going and can't wait to get out of the car to see Marita and all the other dogs. We would recommend Marita to anyone looking for doggy day care.(Sam)

Marita is a life saver, literally. She has our little chap Dougall regularly to give him a tidy up, it was on one of these visits that she mentioned that she thought there was something wrong with his teeth. It turned out, he'd broken his jaw and his whole jaw was infected. He's fine now thanks to Marita going that extra mile and being knowledgeable and experienced. He always comes back from his pamper session a happy little dog, absolutely wouldn't send him anywhere else.

We have not used a pet sitter before so was a little apprehensive, but we need not have worried as Dawn was wonderful! She was friendly, kept us up to date throughout our two week holiday and loved our dog as if she were her own and the house was just as we had left it. Dawn is a fantastic pet sitter. Our dog is very anxious but Dawn took the time to build a bond with her and we felt very comfortable leaving her whilst we were away. Dawns regular pupdates put our mind at rest that our little fur baby was in the best hands. 100% recommend!

My lovely but difficult dog was very happy when the lovely Dawn came to stay and look after her for a week at short notice. Dawn has a lot of knowledge of canine behaviour, and gave us some helpful tips on our return which we've since put into practice. I would happily ask Dawn to pet sit for us again without hesitation.

Dawn was tuned in to the dogs and looked comfortable and in control. They were relaxed on my return, the house was clean and tidy, and the dogs had been well looked after. If I need a dog sitter in the future I would certainly hope that Dawn has availability. Thank you.

This is an update to my earlier review in December 2023. As planned Dawn came to look after our large house and our young lively fox red Labrador for 6 weeks from the end of January to mid-March. She did a fabulous job. She was very attentive to Freddie's needs and knows her stuff when it comes to dog psychology! The house was looked after extremely well and it was left in excellent condition. She kept us regularly informed about developments and sent us lots of photos of Freddie while we were away. She was very responsive when we needed to contact her about things to do with the house. We felt very confident that she was able to take everything in her stride and that Freddie was being very well looked after. We came home to a very happy dog and everything all in order at home. What more could we ask for? We will certainly be happy to use Dawn again when we go away and have no reservations in recommending her to others. Thanks Dawn.

I trust Dawn with my pets as she has looked after them so many times before, my chihuahua absolutely adores her and never wanted to leave her side!

Fantastic service, friendly and professional people, Our Cocker Spaniel, Buddy, loves his visits and is always happy to stay. We feel very fortunate to have found Sarah and her team. Brilliant service and we have no hesitation to drop Buddy off.

Our pup had a wonderful stay with sarah from start to finish. After never using a dog sitter/boarder before we were hesitant to leave our boy for 9 nights but we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Sarah sent us regular updates throughout his stay and upon collecting him we can tell he was very well looked after! Would 100% recommend paws and relax, our boy is now exhausted from a week of walkies, playing and cuddles!

I have known Keri since she established her dog walking business and owning my own dogs frequently see Keri when we are out on walks at the same time. Keri has loads of experience with dogs and really gets to know the character of all the dogs she is walking, taking time to plan suitable walks for the different needs of the dogs she has on each walk. I have seen Keri out on the most amazing walks from Butser Hill and Queen Elizabeth Country Park to Creech Woods and the Beach....come rain or shine. Keri is extremely dedicated and trustworthy; every fantastic walk for your dog will be for the full hour or more. I highly recommend K9 & Co.

So happy Keri at K9 &Co was recommended to me, she is so caring and reliable. My dog Mia had a tendency to refuse walks previously, but with Keri's love and care she loves her walks now. Keri always keeps me updated with photos and video's, and I can see how much Mia is enjoying herself, and she always comes home ready for a nap.

Keri has been our lovely dog walker for several years. Our pooch is always excited to see her when she arrives to collect him and if we see her when we're out walking he always runs over to say hello. Keri is reliable and trustworthy and turns up whatever the weather to take him on lovely and interesting walks. I highly recommend her.

Keri is fantastic with her dog friends! She's professional but very friendly and happy with them. Keri is alert and can see any possible dangers ahead!! Knowledge is power and Keri has masses of knowledge and experience in dog behaviour. I've witnessed keri walking her dogs over and above the hour, unlike several other dog walkers. I have know Keri for 13 years as a friend and working colleague, she has a great empathy with dogs and I would highly recommend her to walk your dog so they are happy and well exercised when you return home. I cannot recommend her highly enough

I don't normally let someone else look after my pups but I needed to as I was going to be away from them a lot longer than normal, so I contacted Jane. She said that she had the right person for my pups needs, especially my rescue staffie that has anxiety issues. When I got back, the pups were very calm and settled. I would certainly use Barking Mad Chichester again. Jane and her sitters are loving and caring towards their four-legged clients.

I wouldn't trust my dog to anyone else. Jane and Laura work tirelessly to ensure all of the dogs are treasured and loved as if they were at home. Whirley loves her Barking Mad holidays which means we can enjoy ours.

Jules is amazing 🤩 she takes such good care of our cats while we are away. Jules does so much more than just the basics of making sure they are fed and watered and the litter tray is kept clean. She takes the time for cuddles and play and brushing too and provides regular pictures and updates on what they have been up to, which is so reassuring. Highly recommended :)

Jules is lovely - she took great care looking after my two British Shorthair cats whilst I was on holiday. She went in twice a day and kept me updated with photos. She went the extra mile, keeping their food area clean and obviously I could see she had used the hoover to keep on top of the cat litter that gets walked around the floor! My boys seemed perfectly happy when I arrived home late last night. I’ve already asked to be booked in for another few visits - no hesitation in asking Jules to come again 😻

We went away for a week and needed someone to feed our 1 year old cat, Figgy. We were so nervous as this was our first time leaving her, and were worried as she is a rescue. I stumbled across Jules when searching for a cat sitter, and I am SO glad we chose her! She came twice daily to feed Figgy and went above and beyond by sending us pictures and updates as to how Figgy was. We will 100% be using her again and highly recommend her services. Utterly brilliant service. Right from the initial meeting, it was so clear that so much genuine love with professionalism goes into this business. For the first time ever, our boys were so happy, active and energised when we came home. The fact photos were sent when we were away just showed us how happy they were, and made us miss them lots, but reassured us that they were ok. Our boys are very picky and can be shy but they were acting as if we were home and handling them - a clear indication of how good and experienced Henry and Laura are. Cannot recommend enough.

I was really impressed with the professionalism and communication of the Home and Pet Visit Company. Henry took great care of my rat and two guinea pigs while we were away and I felt really confident that they were being well cared for. Plus he sent me great, detailed updates to let me know everything was okay with my babies. I cannot recommend Henry highly enough. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our cats are well cared for whenever he comes. His attention to detail, proper love, care, patience and clear passion for animals makes him just brilliant at the job. Communication is always immediate, he sends us a message after every visit, often with photos - which has been such an important thing for us, as one of our cats isn't very well and incredibly picky with her food! He is incredibly experienced at giving medicine, both pills and liquid and always spends proper time with the cats, giving them cuddles and love. He also takes very good care of the house and often closes curtains, turns on lights for us if we’re not there. I would give more stars if I could!

Henry has been fantastic looking after our cat and guinea pigs, for a week, whilst we were away. His daily updates and pictures were so reassuring and he did such a thorough job, for instance calling and checking on the whereabouts of our cat and playing with her etc. I really felt we were in safe and professional hands. Our cat really seemed to take to him which was great. Thanks Henry!

I highly recommend Henry - the dog whisperer! He has taken care of our big labrador several times at short notice. I was a bit anxious initially as he is sometimes unsure of people he doesn't know and wasn't used to people coming into his space. Henry made time to meet him beforehand and he warmed to him immediately, like I've never seen him do with anyone before! It was so reassuring to see and he's always very happy to see Henry! He is a genuine animal lover and a total natural with dogs. He is professional, personable, flexible, and it is so lovely to be able to relax whilst away, knowing that our dog is in excellent hands. My pets have been looked after and really loved by Lisa over several years and there is no kinder and more caring person in my mind. I always take my guinea pigs to Hop & Hound as Katie is really experienced and knowledgeable with animals and nothing is ever too much trouble. I wouldn't take them anywhere else, as they have so much space and I'm completely confident they will be well cared for and loved while I'm away.

Katie looked after our 3 house bunnies while we were away on holiday. She made sure she knew everything about them, nothing was too much trouble and she catered for all their needs. I would definitely recommend Hop and Hounds and I’m happy for our bunnies to be left in Katie’s care when we next go away.

Our 4 guinea pigs stayed here over Christmas and we are very glad we chose fur friends. The accomodation was more than big enough for our 4 with tunnels and hides for them. Katie was very good at communicating and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Our young baby bunnies went to stay here and were very happy and well cared for. Katie sent us some pictures during the week to reassure us all was well and when we picked them up they seemed settled and content. We will be booking them in next time we go away, thanks Katie!

Highly recommend Furfriends boarding, the care given to the animals is fantastic. Furfriends are responsive with communication, the facilities are good there's lots of space for animals, they always get to know your pet and spend time with them. My two stayed over the summer and were very well looked after, I was very impressed and now their going to stay for Christmas! Thank you Furfriends :)
