I’ve been bringing Marley here since he was born. They are so gentle with him and friendly. He loves going. All I have to do is let’s go see Steve and he is so excited. Steve is fantastic with all the animals and customers. It feels like family I have used daycare, Boarding and Grooming hundred percent satisfied, I would highly suggest this business for anybody that really loves their fur babies. They get the best of care, Clean, knowledgeable and friendly. Plus, I love their bus service to and from home if needed we did that one day. It was great and very convenient. Thanks for Steve for giving us a wonderful warm place to go for Marley to play with his friends and have fun.

Our Yellow Lab Tucker has been going to Happy Tails since he was 6 Mos old (he's 5 now). He absolutely LOVES it there and we can go on vacation, knowing he's "on vacation" there too, having fun playing all day. The staff really loves each of the animals and treats them like their own. I highly recommend Happy Tails for Daycare, grooming, and boarding.

I took my newly adopted dog from the shelter in. He had some Matts and was very much in need of a grooming. All the staff and his groomer were extremely friendly. She did a fabulous job on him!! Highly recommend

It was Athena’s first time at Happy Tails Lodge for her grooming and I was absolutely impressed by Steve who greeted us, Carrie who groomed her and Christine who checked us out. Athena would usually run to me when I would picked her up at other groomers, but when I picked her up at Happy Tails, she did not do this. I used to bring my dog here for grooming for several years until he died. Happy Tails always did a fantastic job with grooming! Now, I bring my Father's dog. Just brought him in yesterday for a groom and his dog was ready in just a couple of hours! I tried another groomer that was a little cheaper, but I came back to Happy Tails because I did not have to wait several weeks to get an appointment. Thank you!

Happy Tails was very accommodating and had friendly, helpful staff. Their online site was easy to use and gave useful, convenient information for boarding. Checking in and checking out was orderly and easy for both Fynn and I. And they truly seemed to care for the animals and let owners know about any issues or concerns. I would highly recommend!

We love using Happy Tails for boarding! All of my pups love to go there, and they all come back super happy. They are also amazing at caring for my one reactive dog. Steve is great at handling all our pups, and so is the entire team!

Absolutely love this place! They take great care of my pups, and they give me the cutest report cards every time I go. They really care about what they’re doing, have a wonderful facility, and offer extra treats and fun things for purchase so your pup has the best stay possible! Even my vet told me that they are the best and that my dogs are in the best hands when they’re there!

My dog, Mimi, loves Happy Tails and so do I! I bring her to Doggie Day Care now and then. She is so excited when we get there and is happy and tired when I pick her up. I've also boarded her there a few times and have been happy with the care she receives. The owners and staff at Happy Tails are wonderful and you can tell they all truly love taking care of our pets. Just got back and couldn’t be happier with the great job they did on our Dachshund and Shiatsu. They look good and smell good. We will be back. Their rates are quite reasonable and they even let us delay in picking up our dogs for an hour or so. Sounds like they might be better off without the detractors as customers in my opinion. We are okay if they don’t remember us as long as they do a good job. And we think they do a great job. Thank you.

The grooming and boarding is the best place for animals hands down! Love this place. Great atmosphere and employees.

We boarded our dog here for 2 nights and it was ok, but we won't be back. At no point were we told that if we picked our dog up after 11 we'd be charged for another night. It's fine if that is the policy, but pet owners should be made aware. We also asked for our dog to have some grooming and they didn't do it.

Awesome! Home like place, lots of room, super friendly! The owner is great, she did a different dog for us about 10 years ago, left the area, came back and she is still there, she does great work, no cut or shave burns and my dog was happy!! Also, great prices!!

Been taking my pets here for years, great groomer and my dog seems to like it there, never any signs of being nervous. Special rooms for small dogs and cats. Wonderful.

This person is SUPPOSED to be a groomer. I highly doubt that Peggy Dion - the owner - is even licensed. This was the FIRST annoyance: We have been taking our dogs to this place for over 3 yrs and they didn't even remember us. (At least 3 - 4 times a year.) Then we asked to have them groomed before we picked them up from our short 4 day trip for a family emergency. We had this done here one time before and whoever the groomer was at that time did an ok job. Of course we only had them bathed - not clipped. I had to tell her (Peggy the owner) 3 (THREE) times what we wanted done to our 2 Papillons and our Pap/Pom X. I asked the gal up front if I should write it all down as it didn't seem like she was getting it. She said "no Peggy got it". Because of the way Peggy kept asking and how I had to keep repeating the instructions - I was nervous. When we picked our dogs up I was HORRIFIED! First of all let me explain that our female pap is a show dog, AKC registered and comes from champion bloodlines. Our male is also a pure bred Papillon although not registered. They are supposed to have long fur on their bodies, legs, feet and especially the ears. Papillon is french and means butterfly in English. SO the ears are supposed to resemble the open wings of a butterfly. Our oldest dog is a Pap/Pom mix and we have her shaved for the summer. HOWEVER we always have her main including the ears and the tail left alone. So she looks like a little lion. Well let me tell you that this Peggy person shaved her down COMPLETELY. NO FUR LEFT WHATSOEVER. She looks like she was skinned. And the Paps - Ginger the female show dog - was also SHAVED. Her EARS, legs, face and undercarriage! ALL SHAVED. She is RUINED as a show dog and even as a PAP. It will take three years to try to grow that hair back to what it should be. Max the male Pap also had his legs and ears clipped down. Although nowhere near as bad as Ginger. Anyone who knows the Papillon breed would be aghast! I was SO angry and SO upset that all I could do on my way home was SOB.If this is an experienced, trained and licensed groomer I would HATE to see someone who isn't! She should KNOW what to do with a papillon if she is going to be in this business. She should known how to groom ALL breeds or get out of the pet grooming industry. And it isn't like we didn't EXPLAIN what we wanted over and over again. AND ask if she needed it written down, which she refused. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS PETS here. I had had the pleasure of being able to board my fur babies here. They are very loving and caring with my babies. Their 1st visit they were a bit nervous, the staff spent some quiet time with them to make them comfortable. Mia grooms my babies every 6-8 weeks. She is very good with animals and gives attention to their appearance.

We left our Lab there for a week, she came home with Kennel Cough and gave it to our other dogs. We made sure to bring her own bed, toys, treats and food. Indeed sweet people however now we are dealing with the aftermath.😔 …

I’ll give two stars because I think the owner is very kind, and cares greatly for the animals, my interactions with her have been great! The staff on the other hand leaves quite a lot to be desired! Not impressed! Our dog has been there a few times and each time I’ve been increasingly less impressed! Let me preface this by saying our dog is not a little angel by any means, he’s big, he pulls on his leash sometimes, and barks whenever there are other dogs barking, we get it, he can be kind of a handful at times, but if you are going to work with animals, you should love them all, even their flaws! Our previous boarding facility in another town never had problems and he always came home happy. With that said, I’ll continue my review. The first stay seemed to go alright, our dog came home very tired, but seemed to be alright, and everyone we dealt with was pleasant and polite. The second time upon pick up, there were some snarky comments made about his leash pulling, and it kind of irritated me, but ok, like I said, I get that it can be frustrating. He also didn’t have his collar on which I thought was pretty odd, and was again very tired. Then, I hesitated to take him back this weekend, but I decided I was overreacting and he would be fine. I should have known when we dropped him off that I should have walked back out the door. We walked in and were greeted by 4 people, the lady who seemed to be in charge spoke first with a pleasant greeting, followed by a snarky male teenager stating “we were just talking about him”, so thinking everyone is joking around I joked “oh great, that can’t be good”, to which I received awkward glances between each person and no response. Super uncomfortable! Then, upon pickup, my husband went in and said he was there to pick up our dog Oscar, to which the same male teen responded with an under the breath “oh good, Oscar the turd”. Once he realized my husband heard him he tried to cover himself, “well I mean, he’s not really that bad of a dog. He just pulls on his leash and barks at the other dogs.” Completely uncalled for, you kiddo should not be working with people, and I definitely don’t want you near any pet I ever own, you clearly lack compassion and professionalism!! My husband went back to get our dog, and there was diarrhea in his kennel. I will give the benefit of the doubt, hoping it had just happened, so they didn’t have time to know, especially since we picked him up a day early. My husband brought him out to the car and noticed he was limping, and his chin was bloody/bleeding, I feel that those are two very noticeable things that we should have been made aware of. Since getting him home, he has shown signs of continuing diarrhea, dehydration, has continued to limp quite drastically, and has been quite lethargic. Lethargic to the point of not being able to stand without help, continuing to lay to drink water, not even trying to play with his toys, and not eating. These things don’t just happen in an instance, he had to have been showing some of these symptoms and I as a pet parent deserve to know EVERYTHING that goes on. Very disappointed in the most recent experiences.

Wow I heard about this place on the radio and it's awesome! Both of my dogs look forward to coming to this place anytime I bring them! They get excited like a couple of little kids lol. Located in Black eagle, these guys are a little bit off the beaten path and may be hard to find for someone that's not familiar with the area. Parking is a bit limited. The staff is amazing, they treat each and every dog like their own pet and every customer like a friend. I have had to board my dogs a few times now. This entire staff does a fantastic job easing my mind about how the dogs are doing as well as taking care of my pups! Mother Puppers was amazing! They were able to help my family out during an unexpected event and make room and board our dog Beatrix. Beatrix was not current on her Bordetella Vaccination so they let me buy the vaccine from them and give the vaccine to Beatrix so we could board her. We received photos of her while on our trip along with other dogs which Definitely gave us peace of mind. All the staff were amazing to work with, and we will definitely be using mother puppers again! We highly recommend them!

Our dog has bad separation anxiety and Muther Puppers does an amazing job putting her at ease and she has a great time with them. They are super easy to work with and great people. Would highly recommend!

Puppy's first big boy hair cut. Looks great! I had 2 special requests for the groomer, outside of his breeds traditional cut and she made sure that happened. Everyone was friendly and happy, we will be back for his next cut.

My dogs spent two nights here in August 2024. The staff were attentive to my dogs’ needs and communicated well. The price is reasonable, and I would use Mother Puppers again for our boarding needs.

Very easy to work with and they took great care of both my dogs. We received pictures twice while we were away and both dogs were doing great. I felt very much at ease while my dogs were there. I can’t figure out how to leave a new review so I’ll list them both! 1. We boarded our dogs here in May of 2023 and they had so much fun and were so exhausted by the time we picked them up. I always hate leaving them but was so comfortable leaving them here 2. One of my dogs had a grooming appointment today (Nov 7 2023) and I am so impressed with his haircut! It feels so nice to hear good things about him afterwards whereas we never heard good things about him at one other place. I’m so impressed with Mother Puppers every time I bring my dogs here!!

Have been taking my Dog Dodge here since I discovered they existed. Best place hands down. Dodge would rather be with them than come back with us I think most of the time!! Definitely worth it. Very fairly priced as well.

I was thrilled to find this wonderful establishment! I have 2 small fur babies and was very concerned about leaving them for 4 whole nights. Tammie and Mia were delightful showing me around and how much they cared about the pets they board / groom. My dog is a very senior dog so I wanted him to be able to stay at home. They came to the house twice a day to make sure he went out and pottied. They petted him and kept me informed of how he was doing. When it was done, they left a wonderful thank you note and a magnet to put on my fridge for future visits. These people are wonderful, and I would recommend them to anyone. Prices are very reasonable.

Left our two dogs here while going on a vacation. Came back to get them the next week and all seemed fine. Until I noticed them scratching constantly. As well as them developing kennel cough which they did not have before going there. And when we got home they started chugging water and scarfing down their food as if they hadn’t eaten or drank all day.

Took my boy Kal-El to them, I was nervous for him as he hasn't had much interaction with other dogs his size, they took extremely good care of him and assured me he was a very good boy while he visited them. Will definitely bring him back the next time I go on vacation. Thank you so much!

I have been boarding my dogs at Weona for over 4 years and have had nothing but a wonderful experience. When I first moved to great falls I literally had to drive across the country and drop my dog off and leave for 2 weeks so I was so nervous leaving him in a new place sight unseen but Weona was absolutely wonderful. I was able to check in via the cameras and from then on I’ve always had peace of mind leaving him and our new dog at Weona. My dogs are always super excited to be there and I love that they get playtime throughout the day and aren’t constantly locked up somewhere that I have to pay exorbitant amounts of money so they can go outside. Sandy and her team have accommodated me in last minute situations and have always been so kind and welcoming. Their prices are the most reasonable in town by far and my dogs have always been treated so well there. Highly recommend!

I leave my dog here when family goes out of town. They take good care of him. I also buy his dog food from here. It's over $60 a bag, but its the only food we can find that doesn't mess with his allergies. The staff are always amazing to deal with.

We’ve been coming here for years! It only gets better. Our older dog passed but she loved it there and our young crazy dog loves it every time! Don’t let the negative reviews impact you. I’ve never had a bad thing happen and our dog stayed there for 2 weeks a couple of months ago. ❤️

I have boarded my German shepherd mix here for going on 3 years and they have always been so wonderful. We recently adopted another rescue and they have been wonderful with him too. The staff is so kind and reliable. It’s a no frills kind of place but we love that our dogs get to run free and play all day. They have webcams also so we can check in on them too. I just love the staff so much and they have always taken such good care of our pups. Best prices in town also.

Weona Pet Resort is an amazing place to bring you dogs or even cats to. They are cared for and looked after like they’re at their own home. The owner and worker ensure the dogs safety and cared for at very high standards. The owner is very pet and people friendly, she is well known as a animal lover. Dogs love playing in the play yard with all the others. They play for hours when the weather is good! My dog loves going there!

April always does a fantastic job with our golden retriever. She is always very kind and has great prices for grooming. We haven't had any experience with the boarding side of things but we've heard nothing but good things from other folks.

Over the years, we’ve come to understand that taking our dogs to April’s is more than taking them to a boarding facility — it’s taking them to a place they can feel at ease and at home while we’re out of town. Our dogs are like our children and we’ve had to take them to her over Christmas due to family emergencies and for long term stays to help them relax in the midst of a move. We highly recommend April. Our Shepherd doesn’t like to be away from his family, he gets anxious and nervous, but April takes such amazing care of him, I swear he smiles when I pick him. Even though he is excited to leave, he stops to give April loves on the way out. She pays close attention to how they are feeling/ acting, if they are eating and keeps you informed to try to make them as comfortable as possible. Her kennels are inside and clean, she has a great backyard for the dogs to play and keeps them on rotation so they get plenty of outside time. She also spends time with them outside playing fetch and giving loves. Pricing is extremely reasonable, especially for the personalize care. I feel confident our guy is in wonderful hands when we have to board him. Thank you April for making our guy apart of your family when we are away.

April's is AMAZING!!! I am such a nervous fur momma when it comes to my fur babies. Before finding April's puppy boarding, my husband and I never went on a vacation together because there has not been anyone I trust enough to love and care for my babies the same way I would. This was my mentality UNTIL I was introduced to April's. This woman and her business put all my stress and anxiety at ease. What is even better is that my fur babies enjoyed themselves! All the while we were gone, we were receiving updates and pictures and videos of our babies playing and enjoying themselves. I give April's grooming and boarding 5 stars, and I will be giving April all my babies grooming and boarding business. Her prices are beyond fair and reasonable! I couldn't have asked for a better team to watch after our babies! Absolutely amazing Staff, facility, and experience! I booked 4 nights off boarding online which was super easy and user friendly. When I had questions, I called and got all the answers PLUS excellent customer service. I brought my pup, Bossie, in a couple days prior to her reservation since she hadn't been there before and again I was met with outstanding and friendly staff. I also dropped in a second time to ensure I had all the right vaccinations records ahead of time and AGAIN AGAIN met with the best staff ever. I asked if I could peak at the boarding facility areas just because I was worried about my pup adjusting and they gave me a full on tour without hesitation! I observed the cleanest and surprisingly quietest kennel area I've ever seen. There was calming music playing, lavendar aromatherapy, and some seriously comfortable, relaxed, happy pups. Most shocking to me (in a good way) is the complete lack of doggy poo and urine odors-not even a faint whiff! Again, SO CLEAN!! The outdoor spaces were clean too with happy pups playing and we'll supervised. Fast forward to dropping off my Bossie pup and being 3 states away, I was so pleased to with the daily report cards, phots, and videos! They took such wonderful care of my girl. I was actually worried that she wouldn't want to even come home with me! 😂 Suffice to say that we will be back anytime we need to board and we'll be checking out all the other fun pup-centered fun and services in the near future. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for loving on my girl and making this such an easy process. 10 stars!!!

My family adores Fetch 😊 They take great care of your animals whether it’s boarding, daycare, grooming ect. We recently did the beginner adult training for my 1 year old Akira and highly recommend it for getting some doggy basics mastered! The staff are all super friendly, place is always clean, and we love the owner Ashley. Fetch will forever be our go-to :)

Used to love coming here to wash my dog myself but this last time was a rough one. The water was freezing cold my poor doxie was just shivering, asked for a discount as we could have went across town for a warm bath but they did not budge. However I do recommend bathe your own dog on smelter ave. not too far from here it’s cheaper and they have warm water for your fur baby!

I took my 7 month old Newfoundland in for just a bath and was charged 80 dollars. The website said starts at 26.99 which is extremely deceiving. After 4 hours I picked him up and he was still wet. AND was told that I need to train my dog better to like the blow dryer. I asked why it was so much more money than I expected and they said that’s their base price for saint bernards and newfoundlands. That would’ve been nice to know before! I can see if that was for a full grown but he is only 7 months! I don’t know how 80 dollars is needed for just a bath.

We love Fetch! It is a one-stop shop for all your doggy and kitty needs. They have lots of really nice brands of food, toys, leashes, harnesses, and our golden retriever's favorite bully and collagen sticks. All at very competitive prices comparable to bigger stores like North 40 or Petco. They also offer a self-serve dog wash area you can use for about $10-15, and also doggy socialization and manners classes that always are full; so they are certainly popular. We love it as our neighborhood pet store!

So disappointed. We moved back to MT and the first order of business was booking a grooming for my yorkie. Called Fetch at the beginning of July, gave all my and my pup's pertinent info and was told that the first opening was on 8/13, which I gladly grabbed. Imagine my despair when I went in today, after driving an hour to get there, only to be told that while they had all of my information, I did not have an appointment. Worse, I was accusatorially told that I hadn't received a confirmation text from them - which how would I know I should have received as I was a brand new customer? In hind sight, maybe it was serendipity. Any establishment that can bungle booking an appointment so badly and then infer it was somehow my fault should never be trusted with my pup. Wish I could give less than 1 star. Just noticed the reply from "owner." Funny how you white wash what actually occurred and once again infer that it's my fault that I didn't get a grooming that day. Not once did any one on your staff say "Hey, some kind of mix up but we can still groom your pup." Not once. I was told I had no appointment and that you were fully booked. But keep telling yourself that you tried to do the right thing if that helps you sleep at night. We all know what they say about Karma.

Amazing service, attention to detail and always ensuring that my fur baby is put first. I wouldn't trust any other facility in caring for her. If looking for grooming, ask for Abby- she did an amazing job on her tail! And their daycare is so good that she's almost depressed whenever we come home whereas she's jumping up the car windows in excitement when she sees that giant green building.

I took my dog for a bath and a fur cut and he looked very cute like a teddy bear and I was happy.

As far as dog experts in Montana go, look no further! The staff at fetch have the knowledge you need and they have the personality required to handle any canine caper. I absolutely recommend bringing your dog here!

This place is amazing! Everything is perfectly priced for the quality, and all the food has great ingrediants. Daycare and boarding is a bit more on the spendy side than what we are use to, but the dogs sure look happy!

We found Lazy Dogz since we live nearby and decided after talking with the owner Kathi, to board our 3 dogs there for a few days since we were hosting a wedding on our property. We couldn't recommend them more. Our 3 dogs had an amazing time and Kathi couldn't be more kind. Our dogs are like children to us and it's difficult to find someone worthy enough of your trust. Rest assured they will be under amazing care with Lazy Dogz.

This is the third place we have taken our baby for boarding and he will never go anywhere else!! The first two places weren’t horrible, but they didn’t feel right either. The kennel/play structure of Lazy Dogz is unlike anything else I have seen and our dog was so happy when we came to pick him up. I absolutely love how they do things and the price is so reasonable. This is the level of service some places in Great Falls charge $50+ a night for - and if I had to, I would pay that in a heartbeat for Lazy Dogz. Everything just felt safe and right and it is very clear that our babies are loved here. I HIGHLY recommend and I am so grateful I found them! ❤️

Had an absolutely amazing experience. We had to board our 2 senior chihuahuas and we don't leave them often so we are very cautious where we leave them. We were able to go tour the facility and meet the owners first which helped us feel comfortable booking them here. They were willing to give them their medications as needed, send us pictures to let us know they were doing good (and always responded quickly when I texted to see how they were doing), and when we walked in to pick then up you could tell they were not stressed out! You can tell they care and we will not hesitate to use them again when needed!

We love boarding our dogs here. We know they are safe and in very good hands. The occasional text updates make it even more amazing too. I recommend to all my dog and animal having friends that they come here. When my dogs are here I know they are just as comfortable and cared for as if they were at home.

Amazing place for our dogs to stay. They are very loving and truly care for our pets. Highly recommend anyone who needs there dog to be boarded to come here!!!!
