We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
Anant was a great sitter and a friendly guy. Kept me up to date re his arrival and with Marie & Toulouse during the sit. Found my house exactly as I had left it. Would highly recommend Anant to other pet parents.
Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.
Rebecca was amazing! She is a kind and clear communicator, took loving care of our pets, and left the house in perfect tidy shape. My husband commented, "You can't even tell she was here!" :-) Her calm demeanor, intelligence, humor, and common sense experience as a pet owner made her the ideal sitter for our 7 pets of varying species, ages, personalities, and needs. She managed the pet routine like a pro—including diapers and daily meds for our older dog—and cared for all of our pets as if they were her own. If you're looking for total peace of mind, Rebecca is your sitter!
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.
Angelica was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Rosie! She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. She was extremely reliable throughout the process, and left our house really neat. Rosie was happy when we got home! We'd be happy to have Angelica sit for us again and would recommend her to anyone!
Deboraj took great care of the apartment and of our goofy unsociable cat. She went out of her way to bring catnip and make friends with Rowan. She communicated often and cared to be as good a house and pet sitter as could be. I can gladly recommend her highly to anyone else looking. Thank you Deborah.
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.

JC my cat spent 10 days and was well cared for. The staff sincerely care about the pets in their care. This is my go to place for all of JCs needs . I will continue to support this business. My Daughter and son in law board their great Parines and French bulldog. Thank for the great care you provided JC.
Huge shoutout to the DogWatch teams. They’ve been incredible with my first dog - knowing him by name, working with him in his obedience training, and working with me as scheduling required me to board him. And seeing pictures or videos of him enjoying his time at the kennel is always a day maker. Thanks DW Fayetteville!
I brought my five month old puppy here for Obedience school. The only answers this trainer has is Spike every dog in the class and squirt every dog with a strong stream of water for anything you don’t like. I get that some dogs need aversive training. But that is not beginning training (night 1). I have taken dogs to obedience training in three different states and had good dogs who did not need spikes ever. This was the fourth state. And by far the worst training I have ever seen. Sorry, Kara, not every puppy needs to be spiked for Gods sake. That does not even pass for training.
Never written a review (never been compelled to), but the fact that I am writing one now should let you know that I have something to say and you should listen. I do think they care somewhat about the animals that they work with, however, I think they care more about money. I have a German Shepherd that is a little over a year old and I had taken her to day care multiple times. I was even compelled to buy a 10-day package for her. Last week I picked her up from day care and while I was in the car ride home I felt a bump on her side, like her hair was matted. As soon as I got home I investigated further and it turned it was matted from dried blood and she had a huge chunk taken out of her side! Now, I understand they are dogs and they rough house and might get some scratches, but they should not be cut down to the meat. I immediately drove back with my dog to show them and ask what happened. The person at the front desk had no idea! He said that she had not gotten into any fights throughout the day and acted good while she was there. So, what happened? Either they really had no idea, or they were just hoping I wouldn't notice. I was also in contact with my vet during all of this, setting up an appointment for my dog who ended up needing five staples in her side! The pictures attached do not do it justice, the entire cut is about 1.5 inches long. It also happened to cost me $60 dollars for the procedure, which they would not compensate me for. I was told I would get a call from someone, but never did. You would think that someone would call to ask if my dog was alright, but no. They acted very unprofessional during this entire process and their lack of concern shows they really only care about the money instead of their clients. I would not recommend this place because I think they have a lot of things they need to change. I'm sure people have had good experiences with them, but as you can tell from various posts, people have also had very bad experiences. I think this place needs to make some serious changes though in terms of how they run their business. They need more employees to keep an eye over the dogs and they need a bigger facility for the dogs to play in. Too many dogs and not enough employees to watch over them and this is the outcome you can get. Unfortunately, these updates will cost them some extra money so its likely not going to happen.
I have used this facility several times in the past. They usually do a great job. However, the last time I took my Lab/bloodhound mix to stay for 5 days, she was returned to me with cuts, scratches, and raw skin all over her neck. It was not just a small "rub" from a tight collar. These were swollen raw patches on her neck that ranged from the tip of her chin to the bottom of her neck (if I could post a picture you would be amazed). No one tended to the new sores that developed after her arrival at the facility or attempted to notify me of any problem, issue, or situation that may have caused these sores. These sores were wet, her hair was all matted, and there was excessive pus coming from these areas. No one had tried to prevent an infection. This company claims to love pets and their profession but I COMPLETELY DISAGREE. The way my dog was returned to me was proof. If they shared the same love for animals, they would understand that something like this needs to be addressed and explained. I feel horribly for my pet and I will NEVER make her go back to this facility again. I can't say to never use this facility again, but use caution and you may consider another facility if you are going to be leaving your pet more than a day or two.
Kara was excellent with our dogs. She had our two girls three days a week for a month as part of DogWatch’s in-house training program. They came home every night understanding more commands and they were exhausted. Also, Kara was great about recording her training with each dog so that we could train ourselves as well. We had our most quiet and efficient month since the pandemic started! DogWatch also carries unique treats that our dogs loved. We enjoyed the days the girls got to try something new or went home with a fun treat. We would have loved to keep using DogWatch for daycare, but it is a bit far away from our home and one of our dogs gets incredibly car sick. That said, the training program was fantastic so if you’re located near the facility, we highly recommend their services.
Took my sister's senior dog in for a groom. She was happy coming out, her coat was soft, and her nails were trimmed better than expected.
We’ve taken our pups to Dogwatch for many years and always have a positive experience, both with daycare and with boarding! They have excellent dogfood as well and are very knowledgeable about products and training.
Nothing has gone wrong and I've always been accommodated and my questions answered, but I don't feel great coming in nor have a happy dog going out. They aren't miracle workers and actually seem to have great handling skills, but as a boarding facility and service industry establishment, I suppose I expect more. Still coming back until I find a better fit.
We've been using Dogwatch for the last 9 years. First with our chocolate lab, and now woth our two yellow labs. We are very happy with the way the staff take care of our babies. Everyone is super great. Sadie & Otis get so excited when we tell them they are going to see their "puppy friends".
