Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.
Amanda was the perfect housesitter and pet sitter for our cat. She is organized and communicative, and took care to ensure she understood the guidelines for taking care of our home and our cat. She left our house in perfect condition and we returned home to one happy kitty! Would not hesitate to have Amanda housesit for us again or recommend her to others looking for a sitter.
Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.
Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella. We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. We would be honored to have them sit again. On top of their great care they left us a thoughtful friendship gift. zeewoi continues to be the best site ever. Not only do we have great pet sitters for Cella, we also have the opportunity to meet great new friends. Thank you!!
Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith! I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable. In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture. I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!
Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. If he comes back to the Uk and we require a sitter we will contact him first. Well done Jacob.
I could not have asked for a better first time sitter experience! Terry & Vinnie were absolutely wonderful people. They took stellar care of my beloved pets and my home. Their communication with me was enough that I felt perfectly at ease during my time away and in turn, they were super responsive if I contacted them. My pets were relaxed and happy when I returned!
Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. You will be lucky if he can do the same for you. :)
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.
If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. I can recommend her as a sitter without hesitation. Thank you Anna

Our dogs love Tails Inn! Our girl doesn't do well with other dogs, so we love that the dogs play only with their family dogs and with the staff, instead of lots of stranger dogs playing together. Ours just can't handle that and I'm so glad Tails Inn exists! The owner is so kind and happily will administer meds and special treats and meet all of our dogs' needs. I couldn't recommend Tails Inn enough!
Lucy spent the weekend with Andee . She wears a Fi collar so it tracks her activity. She was a busy girl running and being active, which is important being a Shepherd/ catahoula mix. Thank you Andee for taking good care of Lucy. We appreciate it. I would recommend Tails Inn for your boarding needs.
Took care of my pup very well. Always were happy to update me on how he was doing. Definitely would recommend!
We love Andee at the Tails Inn! Not only has she taken good care of our dog Rip but she has given us priceless puppy advice.
Always a great place to take our dog max he has been going here since he was a puppy 🐶 super nice staff and accommodating. Max might like being there more than at home he is always excited to go. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ …
I highly recommend boarding your pet here! We have a rescue dog who has some ~social challenges~. We made sure they were fully aware of his issues before our trip and they were entirely comfortable with handling it. He did great there! Absolutely no issues. Thankfully, they have genuine animal experience so truly know how to handle the animals properly. It is nice to have a boarding facility where I know my pet is happy and safe!
We have had issues with boarding our anxious dogs in the past that led to emergency surgery and they no longer do well with other dogs. Finding a boarding facility that can facilitate our needs with anxious dogs that can’t intermingle has been hard to find, but Tails Inn has always done a great job with our dogs and accommodating us! I highly recommend them!
Would board my dogs there again. Very accommodating, took both dogs on short notice. Only surprise for us was cash or check only.
We took our dogs here when my wife and I went on vacation. The owner is very friendly and transparent about the prices. She wrote down all necessary information about our dogs and there needs. Thank you for the great service you provided to our hairy friends and I would highly recommend this business to anyone.
My name is Biscuit and I am a very handsome Westie. My family keeps calling me cute, but please remember that I am HANDSOME! So my family and I all went down to Idaho for several days. Because they were going to Silverwood Theme Park one day and shopping another, they needed to find Doggie Daycare for me for those days. My Mom found Tails Inn in Rathdrum. I really loved AnnDee and Diana. They played with me LOTS and I had a yard to run around in. And when I got tired, I had my own place to chill out! I liked it so much that on the second day I was so excited that I forgot to say goodbye to my family when the dropped me off! I don’t remember much after they picked me up both days cause I really needed a good long nap! For all you other doggie boys and girls out there, tell your families about Tails Inn. It was the best and I can’t wait to go back next year!
Lovely folks there that will love and care for your 4legged family as if it were there own. 2st time we've ever kenneled a dog and we had a wonderful time at Silverwood theme Park and had no worries about our Sir Ollie BEAR. He was very happy to be released upon our arrival that evening even tho we were a touch late the staff were very understanding. Thank you Kootenai kennels for making this the 1st many instead of the 1st and last.
They were really nice people and we felt our pup was in good hands. They're also affordable.
Just picked up a happy senior last night, after 16 days. She has never been sooo calm after staying at a kennel and here she looked great! Usually she will lose about 5 pounds, my husband and I were thrilled to see she looked healthy and was happy. Steven said that he took her on walks many times throughout the day and I could tell she was well taken care of, I am truly grateful!!! Thank you again, you were a God send in my hour of need!!! This place doesn’t look like a typical in town kennel, but they treated my dog better!!!
They watched our Olliebear for the day while we went to Silverwood. It is a pretty standard kennel set-up. I was able to bring our baby to his spot with a pillow and dad's jacket. This was h but we
They took good care of our dog. It is nothing fancy but they did what they were paid to do. We have a high maintenance dog and they managed to take care of her well. Very fair price. Would recommend them for anyone looking to board their dog and is not looking for the "spa" treatment.
We came from out of state to play at Silverwood and looked for a place to board our dog, just for the day. We've never boarded our dog and expected a place that was clean, free and safe. This establishment is completely run down. My heart sank as we pulled up and a feeling of uneasiness settled in my heart. I could never leave my beloved pet here. There is no fenced yard or area, just a bunch of abandoned looking outdoor kennels and a run down warehouse that looks like it once could of been something decent. I opened the door to the dark warehouse and heard a lot of dogs barking. The warehouse seemed unsupervised, dark and leery. We drove away and found another kennel 20 mins farther away, where we could leave our pup with a good conscience. There is a good reason why this kennel has no photos up of their facility.
Great place for when I can't bring my dogs with us and need to leave them in a kennel for a few days. We like the owners and so do the dogs.
We never actually got to leave our dogs with them. But they were so nice, helpful, knowledgeable and understanding.
this is the best place I have ever been, for dog lovers. they walked my dog on mowed paths through the woods and also have a large play area for him to run free. the inside runs are heated in winter and very large. good place
Paid attention to my dog’s needs
I highly recommend Auntie Linda's to care for your sweet fur baby when you are away. She provides a home setting which makes Pugsley very happy. We would never want him to feel like he was going back to the kennel that he was rescued from. She has an amazing pet friendly and fun backyard for her visitors. Pugsley gets lots of love and even some lap time. He has so much fun playing with his friends and she is great about texting pictures and messages while we are away. Great communication and great rates make Auntie Linda's our first choice for our Pugsley. We have taken Pugsley to Auntie Linda's for over four years and we will never go anywhere else. You can see by the expression on his face that Pugsley also loves Auntie Linda's.
I have used Auntie Linda’s pet sitting for three years for our cat Rogue. She has baby sat Rogue for a few days to two weeks. Rogue has always been taken care of and dotted over. It has been a great experience and I have never worried. Recently, we had a family emergency and needed to leave town for a few days. I was desperate and reached out to her. She was still able to make accommodations and get Rogue a place to stay on short notice. She is amazing! I will continue using her in the future for our 14 year old cat Rogue when we take vacations
Linda is great and she will take care of your pet like her family. Our dogs had a great experience at her pet resort.
Auntie Linda took great care of our 3 cats for over a week. She was very accommodating and reasonably priced. She also sent us texts with photos and updates on how they were doing. Our cats looked happy and well taken care of when we went to pick them up and it was clear they had a great week! I highly recommend Auntie Linda's boarding service.
We have been with Linda for years, and trust our priceless animals with her. She deeply cares about everyone's well being. That being said, she is a pet sitter, and not a kennel. If your pet requires extra care, call her she'll gladly discuss what she is and isn't capable of.
This week will be the 3rd time I have entrusted Auntie Linda with caring for my fragile 18 yr old kitty girl. Frieda has a neurological conditionn and is losing muscle strength in her back legs, so can jump maybe 6 inches, and often loses her balance. Instead of the typical tall cat condo with many shelves, Linda came up with using a wide/long bunny cage, which fit her bed, litterbox and food just right. She always sends pictures and text updates on how she was doing; extremely soothing to a far-away purr parent. Her ability to be flexible to owners & pets is amazing! This week I'll be going for surgery, and I don't know if I'll need to leave her there for 2 days or a week depending on the outcome. Linda didn't bat an eye and said let me know when you know Frieda is always welcome here. Although she often has a mix of pets there at one time, her home is clean, friendly, inviting and happy. I told her last time I was there I thought she was undercharging, but she said I want it this way for folks who just aren't able to afford the pricier places. THAT is the kind of woman and caregiver Linda is. Absolutely could not ask for better!
Linda took good care of my rabbit while I was away for a month. She kept sending pictures of the rabbit regularly. She took great care of my Oreo (rabbit) and now he is back home. Definitely recommend her.
Linda is awesome! She took great care of our cat, and gave him a lot of attention!! She would send us a pic of him almost every day, and give us an update. Her rates are frickin unbelievable as well!!!
Absolutely not! If I can rate this no stars I would! Took my dog here she’s a girl. And this lady had already dogs there and released them to meet my dog and the male German shepherd attacked my dog! Absolutely not ok! Maybe next time you let your dogs meet a strangers pet put them on a leash. We tried to pull my girl away and her dog kept coming and with another right behind my baby, myself and my boyfriends mother were holding our dog and she was terrified! She’s terrified to even go in the car now because she thinks she has to come back to this awful place. I would like to mention Linda did mention she would pay for the vet bill but this not just about money my dog is terrified.
So glad I found Auntie Linda’s! I left my two cats under her care to go on a trip for three weeks. I felt no worries leaving them with her, and she frequently sent pictures of them. I recommend her and I will continue using her services! She is also very sweet. :)
Our dogs love coming and staying at camp when we are out of town. The staff has always been extremely professional and friendly. We have always gotten updates throughout our dogs stay (photos too) and prior to boarding we were given free trial days as well as a tour of the facility. The facility is absolutely beautiful by the way. My wife loved that they had a climate controlled kennel (a/c & heat) as well as smooth floors. 10 out of 10 stars for Camp K-9! Added photos I received while our pup was on vacation at Camp K-9!
Edited to add (regarding the company's reply): No harassment, just one review with the facts. We were told he would be provided a bed. He was injured while there. And we were heartbroken by what happened. Neither one of us got a tour. We contacted them earlier this year about boarding our dog for 5 days. We spoke with two different people who told us not to bring his personal bed, because they know how to easily clean their own beds, and that they would provide one (an actual bed, not just the "cot" with the hard mesh). At no point did they tell us he would not have a bed. If this is what they're going to do, the concrete floors should be finished and not so rough that they can injure animals who stay for a longer period of time. When we picked him up, we found that his elbows were injured and one of them was actually bleeding, due to lying on concrete for 5 days. I sent the pictures to Camp K-9 and called. I spoke with the person who answered the phone, and she had me talk to the kennel manager, Nick, who told me they didn't give him a bed because they didn't know if he'd chew it up. He didn't seem at all concerned about what happened, just making excuses and acting like it was no big deal. Our dog is a big gentle baby, they could have watched him for an hour or two and known he wouldn't chew it up. When I spoke with the owner, Karen, she was nice and seemed sorry that it had happened, did give a refund, but still tried to excuse it. This is inexcusable. When I think about him lying on the concrete for 5 days... it just breaks my heart. We never would have taken him there if we had any idea something like this would happen. Also, they ignore any text messages that come through on the weekend. They also said they would send pictures throughout his time there, and only sent some on ONE of the five days. These photos are after his “exit bath” after we got him home. The people who bathed him didn’t even notice, which tells me they don’t really pay attention to the condition of the animals.
Both of my dogs have boarded here numerous times and they always take great care of my dogs. One of my dogs, Brick, is very high fear/anxiety and a high risk of biting. They train their staff very well on how to handle dogs like my own, and I’m so thankful for them. Recently, after a couple years of boarding my dogs here, I was able to do the behavioral modification training for my high fear/anxiety dog, Brick, with Alicia one of their trainers. My dog has gone through board and training before with other trainers at other facilities that claim to know how to help with this but were not successful with my dog. But Alicia and the staff at camp k9 truly know their stuff and has helped my dog so much. It’s going to be a long process for my dog and consistent training at home with me. One thing that is amazing to me is that since my dog completed that behavioral modification training with Camp K9 she will for life have access to the trainers if we ever need to work on more training that may come our way. I’ve never had a training facility offer that, and I think it just goes to show how much they care that you and your dog are successful. Alicia posts training updates on her TikTok of my dog Brick, with my approval, and it’s amazing to follow if you want to see for yourself 😭❤️❤️
Our dog loves Camp K-9! As soon as he arrives, our pup is eager to get inside, look over the desk to say hello, and greet everyone he sees. Camp staff are always very welcoming and loving to our pup. Our pup goes to the kennel area without looking back, looking forward to pup play time. We have been taking our boy to Camp K-9 for several years. The staff are always helpful, organized, and friendly. Our pup looks good and acts very relaxed (except for being excited) when he comes and goes. On a couple of occasions he needed extra attention and medication, which was no problem for the staff to attend to. They have called us a couple times with questions about whether he ate lunch and such, which we appreciate. Camp K-9 is a wonderful kennel. We appreciate the play time our pup gets—he loves other dogs and has an abundance of energy—the attention and caring of the staff, and the safety and cleanliness of the premises. Thanks for everything you do, Camp K-9!
Camp K-9 is amazing. They have helped facilitate and are training/certifying two therapy dogs for us at Pinehurst Elementary School. They have been easy to work with, professional, helpful and passionate about this endeavor. My dog (one of the therapy dogs) loves the entire staff and has made huge strides with the training given. He is 100 percent a different dog than where he started in February and it is because of the patience, compassion and professional training he has received at Camp K-9. They are definitely my recommendation for your boarding and training needs.
After our dog showed aggression a couple times with another dog in the house and with us, we were at a loss with what to do. We had tried a couple different trainers and almost gave up and started thinking we would have to re-home this almost 2 year old pup. We were heart broken on what to do. Our last chance was with Camp K9. Alicia did wonders with our dog! She truly saved her and gave her the confidence and training that completely changed her for the better. I highly recommend Camp K9 if you are looking for experienced trainers that truly care for your animal. Thank you Alicia and the great staff at Camp K9!
We brought our dog Bea for some behavior modification. She was getting increasingly aggressive and trying to dominant other dogs at the dog park. She was also chasing deer and other animals and not responding when we called. It was getting difficult to take her anywhere. We brought her to Camp K9 as a last resort. After 5 weeks she is a different dog. We can take her anywhere without concerns. She listens, minds and plays well with others. We didnt think this change was possible. We are so grateful that we have our sweet girl back again. Thanks Alicia and Camp K9!
We love Camp K-9! We have done both private training with our dog, Jax, and boarding. We’ve seen so many improvements after doing training with Alicia. The staff there is great at what they do and truly care about the dogs - we wouldn’t feel comfortable taking our dog anywhere else!
I will always recommend camp k-9. The staff there is always so kind and knowledgeable. My dog has some serious anxiety. She often chews up anything and everything in sight. They always communicate with issues and I feel completely safe leaving my pup with them. You'd have to give them a shot for yourself to see how awesome the group really is.
Camp K9 provides excellent training, and I cannot recommend this facility enough! They're extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to the success of the dog and pet parent. We will use Camp K9 for all of our training and boarding needs.
