Paula is awesome! She's very knowledgeable about dogs and takes good care of your furry family members when they're at the kennel. I've been boarding my dogs there over the past 20 years and have always had a great experience. Just recently, I was running late to pick up my dog and Paula waited way after closing time for me. She didn't have to do that, but she did, and it was so much appreciated. She had given my dog a great bath, so my pup was clean and happy when I came to get her. Great place with great people!

My little dog is 11 and 1/2 years old and she has never stayed in a kennel before last month. Muddy Paws however is such a great place that I feel comfortable insecure leaving my dog there and she is happy and clean when she comes out to greet us when we pick her up. The people are so wonderful and my TankGirl was immediately calm and relaxed when Paula picked her up the very first time so that Tank could look through the kennel with her. My husband says "it's great, Paula's great, we recommend it highly!"

We brought our two large dogs here for a week long stay, it was our first time using Muddy Paws. Our dogs were well taken care of and you can tell the owner really cares about the dogs who board there. The owner gave them baths because their groomer was on vacation, the dogs smell good and their hair is soft. The owner gave us a tour of the facility, we will use them in the future. Prices are reasonable and they have convenient hours.

My family has boarded our dogs at Muddy Paws since I was in elementary school. I’m now 33 years old. Paula treats my family and my dogs like family. We also have a number of friends who board there dogs as well. My toy poodle Pierre runs to Paula with excitement every time we are there. Anyone who knows Pierre knows he is grumpy and anti social lol He has been going there for 13 years and it’s the only place he is excited to go other than home. We have never had a single complaint. Not one!! I recommend everyone board there animals with Muddy Paws if you want your pet to be treated like gold!

Good kennel. Great customer service. We are repeat customers and will continue to be. Even better is if you opt for the last day wash they so not charge you die that day.

Awesome owner, I am a regular, I ended up requesting a reservation a bit late. They were already booked. I explained my family situation. She called back as soon as someone canceled. I was more than appreciative. Best kennel ever.

I've taken both of my dogs to Muddy Paws for grooming for years, and they have done a great job grooming them. I love the owners they are truly great people, and they care a lot about your pets and providing great individual attention. When my first dog died Paula called to check on me. That was a very difficult time for me, and it meant a lot to me that she took the time to reach out to me.

Fiona was above and beyond. Me andy wife went travelling for one week and she gave as piece of mind. We liked her and this place so much that we could actually enjoy our vacations. Fiona is a very kind and lovable person that actually cares for dogs. My little crazy one is exhausted, I bet she had a great time. Great onboarding and dog daycare. This place is wonderful! Fiona takes such great care of the dogs and treats them as her own. My dog LEAPS out of my arms when Fiona comes to pick her up to go to daycare. I don’t think I’ve seen her wag her tail so much. They also make sure to take lots of photos and videos during the day to show you how your pup is doing.

Simply amazing!! Communication, customer service, professionalism, price, and treatment of not only myself but my dogs were all outstanding! Loved the pictures and updates of how my dogs were doing during my trip. I felt very comfortable and secure with Fiona keeping my dogs because I can tell her heart is in it! You can’t get that anywhere else! In addition to all that, I mistakenly left my dog bowls at her home and she gladly took the time to bring them back to my house herself! 💌🙏🏽💖PRAISE YAH! We needed a furbaby care provider because my Hubby and I went to Jamaica to celebrate a blessed 25-year marriage vowel renewal. Even though we could've taken Her with us, we prayed on it and thought it best for Her to stay. She hadn't been with anyone else since we got her at 2 months old and now she's 2 years old. Ms.Fiona and her family at "Pawtastic Pack" was(is) an answered prayer, because she's our furbaby(Heaven Pup). I prayed for Her, after losing loved ones so close together was so hard, She's a great comforter. After meeting Ms. Fiona and her family, my spirit was was at ease, we knew she would be safe and in great hands. Although I cried when we dropped her off, I was still at ease. We received pictures and video updates, she did look a little worried the 1st 2 days & I did cry again, however, once I saw the video of her interactions with the other furbabies I was able to enjoy the Beautiful People & Island of Jamaica. THE PAWTASTIC PACK is a welcomed home away from home and I love the fact they are not in crates, even doing bedtime. She is part of THE PAWTASTIC FAMILY, whenever we need a loving and gentle Home away from home. Blessings🙏🏽😌

I started out living this daycare and Fiona was great but her mom apparently started helping out more and was not nearly as attentive. My dog was attacked by another during his 8 hr daycare stay. We picked him up at around 4pm and later found out that this happened at around noon. We were not notified and my dog was not taken to vet. When we picked him up we immediately noticed he was limping and she (Fionas mom) LIED. I put my foot down and inspected him on their front lawn and found the pictured wound actively bleeding. She continued to lie saying nothing happened and she doesn’t know how that got there and even tried saying it happened before we dropped him off (when he was perfectly fine at drop off and I KNOW there were no wounds because I brushed him RIGHT BEFORE dropping him off so I would have seen it). Only after we left and took him to an emergency vet did we get a text from Fiona saying that a dog jumped on him, attacking him and had to be pulled off my dog. This is a very condensed version of the full story but they were deceptive and didn’t have my dog’s well being in mind as he would have been taken to vet immediately - not laying in pain bleeding for 4 hours. Think twice before entrusting your babies to this daycare.

Pawtastic Pack is Tyson's home away from home. I sometimes get jealous with how excited he gets when we pull up. Pawtastic Pack has to be the best dog care and boarding service in the DMV area.

If you’re looking for a place for your pup, this is it!!!! I’ve used this service for 3 months and each time I’m incredibly pleased with the care and love that is given to our dog. Fiona is reliable and professional and she sends photos/videos of the day. Certainly a piece of mind knowing that our puppy is being loved while we are at work.

It's been challenging finding the perfect person/company to help me care for my baby. I lead a very busy lifestyle, yet it doesn't take away from the care and quality of life I wish for My Boy to experience. Fiona and The Pack have been amazing and I've been able to be a bit less stressed about how my baby's day is going. Soo much anxiety was relieved… Being new to owning a dog and being absolutely in love with the one I own can make traveling a bit stressful. Robert has been visiting our dog since she was a tiny puppy. It has now been more than four years of regular walks. We have always been very pleased. Robert is consistently very responsive to scheduling changes and etc. In four years he has never gotten a number wrong on a bill -- even when we have last-minute canceled, added, and rescheduled numerous times in a month. He was originally recommended by a friend who used him sitting and was very pleased that the dog was treated like part of the family when there. Several of our neighbors use Robert now -- some on our recommendation. In addition to sitting, walks, and belly-rubs, he runs a mid-day playgroup that is very popular in our neighborhood.

Travis was excellent taking care of my minipig while I was away, following instructions down to a tee and making sure she got everything she needed. I didn't have to worry one bit. Alexandria Pet Care has been so helpful for our dog. We scheduled 4 in home one-on-one sessions for our newly adopted puppy last year and it was so helpful for her. She was reactive towards other dogs and people but after just one session our dog made so much progress. Alex, the trainer, also taught us the best way to help with her anxiety and how to continue making progress with her after our 4 sessions were completed. Alex has also been helpful answering questions via email since our sessions have ended, and at no charge.

This place is the best! After Alexandria Pet Care cancelled a dog walking/pet visit while I was away, Becky’s came through. I've been a client of the company for almost a decade now, uses service when I've been unable to find friend or family to assist. I booked a service on 6/6 for the July 4th holiday weekend. Three weeks later on 6/25 (1 week before a major holiday) I received an automated email that services are unavailable. After a follow up email asking why this was canceled, it was stated that they work on a first-come first-serve basis and apologize for the inconvenience. That's perfectly fine and understandable, however it should be coordinated before booking the service, not 3 weeks after, and 1 week before a major holiday is completely unacceptable. If I can't rely on the service I request, then I can't use the service, it's that simple. I could have been looking for alternate solutions for the past 3-weeks instead of scrambling at the end.

We love this service! They took excellent care of our guinea pigs while we were in Europe. Guinea pigs require lots of special care, including a diet with nutritional and vitamin needs, fresh vegetables, fresh water, unlimited hay for digestion, and daily/weekly cage cleanings. Passionately Pets did a stellar job at caring for our furry little friends. Their daily pet journal with photos and special notes on their visits with our pets was a fantastic way to see and read about how our fur potatoes were doing. Their prices were very reasonable, their care was top quality, and their customer service was the best. They also took care of a few other services such as bringing in mail and packages, bringing in the trash cans, and turning off/on lights in the house while we were gone to give the house a "lived-in" appearance while we were gone. On a special note, our pet caretaker was even concerned enough to run to the grocery store to pick up some fresh veggies for our pigs when he ran out. We loved Passionately Pets service and felt our pets were in competent hands. We have used Passionately Pets during two vacations and know that we can trust their services to care for our precious furry little buddies in the furure

Passionately Pets is amazing! We have a tiny puppy and they are the only ones we could find that were willing to come twice per day to let him out for potty breaks and a walk. Plus, they have the same person come most days, which is better for my puppy - rather than always having to meet someone new. They send updates after each walk and the pics are adorable. I trust them completely and would not use anyone else!

Passionately pets has been the best decision we have made since moving back to Arlington. I had a GREAT experience with Passionately Pets! I left for a long weekend and was very nervous to leave my new rescue pup with a stranger, but Ashley (our dog sitter) was wonderful! She came and met my dog before I went away and sent detailed reports and pictures from every visit. My dog can be wary of strangers, but he absolutely adored Ashley. Our neighbors had a little party one night and she even thought to turn on soothing music for him to drown out the scary sounds so he could sleep peacefully. I am so glad to finally find a place I can trust to walk/watch my dogs! Can't recommend them enough!

Vanna just stayed with our dog, Marty for two nights with pop-ins during the day while we went out of town for a wedding. I was nervous because we've always had family watch our pets but we recently moved here from out of state so that's no longer an option. Passionately Pets was very responsive to my initial inquiry and set up a meet and greet before I booked the service. Vanna walked me through their different services, patiently answered all of my many questions, and went through the profile I set up for Marty. Vanna ended up also being Marty's sitter for the weekend and did a phenomenal job. She sent pictures and updates throughout the weekend and when we arrived home he was happy and had clearly been well cared for. Marty is still a young dog with puppy energy and is not used to being left for more than 6-7 hours at a time (and never overnight) so I booked the Deluxe Overnight package plus a midday visit each day. The pricing was as advertised on their website. I'm not sure how the cost compares to competitors, but considering that it accounts for 13+ hours/day of time, I thought it was totally worth it for the peace of mind and standard of care that Vanna delivered. 100% I would recommend and will be using Passionately Pets again.

We never have to worry that our cats are well cared for while we are out of town- they give lots of playtime and love in addition to feeding. I had Googled professional dog walkers the Fall of 2021. Thankfully, WaggnTails Pet Care showed up in my search. Joe immediately responded to my inquiry. We set a day and time for Joe to meet my babies (my two Maltese, Amos and Stella) and for us to discuss the pet services I needed. Amos and Stella took a liking to Joe right away. Wow! Because of COVID, I started out needing care for one day, twice a day each week. With the restrictions having been lifted, I'm in need of care three days a week, twice a day. Joe runs a professional business...he tracks vaccinations and he also does an assessment of pets' likes and dislikes, and their overall needs. I love my fur babies so much and it's important to me that I have the best care possible for them. I found that in Joe and I'm ever so thankful. He is careful, attentive and very likable. Amos and Stella can attest to that.

Joe is wonderful! He walked my dog, Brutus, and did very well with him. Brutus can be a bit rambunctious, but Joe’s calming demeanor eased my dog’s anxieties. Joe is knowledgeable, prompt, professional, and trustworthy - all of which are important when choosing someone to care for your fur-baby. I highly recommend Joe for your dog-walking needs.

Mr. Reeves was very professional, as well as, knowledgeable. He was prompt and courteous. He provided outstanding service, to my dog, Doc. I loved the communication he expressed, with Doc. He was a true lifesaver, for me.

District Pet Care is simply the best. Our vet recommended them, and we couldn’t be happier. Jackie and her team are great petsitters, and they have always gone above and beyond for us and our cat. When our baby arrived earlier than expected, for example, we texted Jackie from the hospital and she rearranged her schedule to take care of our cat even though it was a holiday. More recently, Henry arrived at our house while we were on vacation and found that the lock was sticking and he couldn’t get in. He finally got the door open after lots of effort and a trip home to get WD40. Without making a big deal about it, Henry spent hours of his time ensuring that our cat got fed, and he saved us lots of anxiety and an expensive locksmith call. Even when they’re not saving us from disasters, District Pet Care sitters do a great job—they are reliable, send pictures every day, and make sure our cat has everything he needs. Another great benefit is that Jackie has medical training and is able to administer shots and medications. She comes once a month to give our cat an injection, and she keeps track of the schedule for us and is so flexible and friendly. It’s always a joy to see her! In short, Jackie and her team are amazing. Your pet will be in the best hands if you hire them!

I adore District Pet Care. Catherine has been so amazing with my two cats and I love that she takes the time to sit with them and give them attention. She also sends detailed messages that reassure me while I am away. Thank you for treating my two girls with such care and love!

Jackie and her team are excellent! We have used District Pet Care two separate times and our kitties and fish were well taken care of! I love that we receive daily updates of and photos while we are away. It is such aa great relief to know that our pets are in great hands while we are away.

When my usual cat sitter told me she was discontinuing her services, she recommended District Pet Care to me. I used them this past week and was impressed with the level of communication, photos of my babies, and care they received while I was away. The cats were fed, played with, and loved by Jackie, who cared for them. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a professional cat or small animal sitter.

Jackie has taken care of my cat twice now, while I have been away for a week at a time. She does a great job! She is very professional and very good with my cat. There's no hiding under the bed when Jackie comes to visit! I love that I get photo updates and messages while I'm gone. I feel very comfortable trusting Jackie in my house and with my cat.

Thanks so much to Jackie for taking care of my two boys while I was on the other side of the country. I've always been nervous to leave them alone when I travel, but Jackie's consistent updates made me feel better. She also has a way with animals, as one of my cats never leaves his hiding spot for strangers, but on the second day he let Jackie pet him. I'll be using District Pet Care for as long as I live in DC.

Very highly recommend Jackie! Super sweet and reliable. When we returned home everything was spotless and our cats were happy and relaxed. She provides daily updates with photos which is greatly appreciated, plus she brought up our mail and watered our plants. Felt completely comfortable leaving our home and pets in Jackie's care and will definitely be doing so again!

Jackie is wonderful. I can't say enough nice things about her, she took absolutely great care of my cat while I was away, and kept me updated each visit with pictures. It made for such a great vacation, there was no stress worrying if my cat was in good hands or not. I will definitely be using Jackie the next time I need a pet sitter.

Yeah, it's a no for me, dawg. I took my dog to Fur-Get Me Not on Monday, December 9 at 3:15 PM for a daycare evaluation. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted particularly warmly by the front desk staff, but they did direct me to the person who would be completing my dog's evaluation. As the staff member, Christopher, who was actually completing my dog's evaluation was friendly and inviting, I did not think too much about the front desk staff. The evaluation cost $25 and it took about 20 minutes. Christopher took my dog to the back and had her meet other dogs and staff members. When the evaluation was over, he informed me that she had passed and answered most of my questions. I asked him what the pricing was for daycare, because it was not listed on the FAQ page that he provided me. He told me he didn't know, but that the front desk staff would be able to answer my question. After wrapping up to the evaluation, I walked over to the front desk to inquire about pricing for daycare. Keep in mind that while this is a full-service dog care facility, it seems that the main service-- or at least one of the most popular services-- that this facility provides is dog daycare. I asked the woman sitting at the desk about pricing. She told me something along the lines of, "we don't have the pricing listed on the brochure, but it is online." I then asked if she could just tell me the pricing. (I'm literally standing at the front desk at this point where they are supposed to answer questions about their services-- wouldn't you just tell me the price instead of directing me to go look it up for myself?!) She then responds "for what?!" with an mistakable air of annoyance. Now, I would expect a front desk staff member to say something like, "sure, for which service?" The way she phrased her question seems like I was bothering her. I responded "for daycare" and then, she said "well let me just pull up the website and look..." The entire interaction was odd, like she was doing me a favor by providing pertinent info about the business at which she works. Also, why there isn't signage with the pricing for daycare at the front desk, who knows? I do know one thing though: if you act like I'm bothering you by asking you to do things within the scope of your job, I won't bother to spend my coins.

My dog loves it here! He always has the best day and is exhausted when he gets home lol. I love that they do cute activities for the holidays, make training recommendations when needed, and have pretty much everything you need. I love how they divide the groups based on size, temperament, etc, because our last daycare just put all dogs together in one big group, which was overstimulating for him at times. I can’t recommend them enough and every staff member has been SO sweet and helpful.

I can't say enough good things about the dog training classes here! Before we started training, my dog was extremely reactive to other dogs, making walks and outings very stressful. After attending Julie’s and Malia’s classes, I've seen such a transformation in my dog's behavior. Julie and Malia are incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and they gave me the tools I needed to help my dog stay calm and focused, even around other dogs. My dog is able to attend daycare without any behavior issues and even plays with other dogs. She is still introverted and barks from time to time, but it’s much more manageable now. On top of that, my dog has always been very fearful of loud noises, which made everyday situations challenging, especially living in the city with all trains, airplanes, and traffic. Thanks to the confidence-building exercises we learned, I've noticed a huge improvement in how she handles her fears. She’s still afraid of thunderstorms and car rides though. However, the most important lessons I learned from the classes are how to identify my dog’s triggers and knowing how to best support her through those challenges. It’s made our bond much stronger now.

I am so grateful to the whole team at Fur-Get Me Not for the amazing care that my dogs have received there. We’ve done training, daycare, and boarding, and always had a great experience. Definitely recommend.

I have a dog, Ari, with behavioral and medical issues, specifically the canine version of ADHD (low frustration tolerance, poor impulse control, the attention span of a space cadet), anxiety and diabetes insipidus, which exacerbated his anxiety. When Ari was a pup, his behavior got so bad that I considered giving him back to his rescue but was nervous he'd bite a less understanding person and be put down. (He's a cattle dog. They nip. He was nipping A LOT with little inhibition.) While I was waiting to get an appointment with ABWC, we started doing 1:1 training at Fur-Get Me Not (FMN), and then moved to impulse control classes, drastically improving his behavior, which proper medication helped support. Anyway... I moved Ari to FMN daycare after I noticed how upset he was being dropped off at our last daycare — and after having to extract from staff that he was having ADHD-typical "toddler meltdowns" during the day from overstimulation, during which he'd bark and nip, so he'd end up in "time out" for large portions of the day. (Why didn't they tell me!?) FMN daycare's structured environment with a midday treat and the option to add on the 1:1 attention time Ari needs to have a lower anxiety experience make all the difference. With their detailed report cards, I know if he needs more X or less Y to achieve his best behavior. And midday snuggles help him a lot. Highly recommend!

I first came across furget-me-not training when I was looking for fun classes my dog and I could take on the weekends. My interest was piqued at their Reactive Dogs classes, since I knew it took a special type of understanding and expertise to work with reactive dogs. So I signed up my dog, Arnold, him being a reactive dog. Over the course of the 6 weeks, we were able to feel really reassured that our years of training and work was going in the right direction. I was really appreciative of how patient, kind, and knowledgeable Juliet and Malia were during each class. They were also flexible and attentive to each student - when they saw Arnold was already comfortable with some skills, they would give us helpful tips on how to make it more challenging or purposefully give us opportunities to challenge Arnold a bit more. We were more than happy to practice some skills we already knew in a live classroom AND learn new ones with other dogs in a controlled environment. The tools Juliet and Malia gave us are now engrained in us, and I can genuinely say that it has helped Arnold improve in just 6 short weeks - I haven’t seen this rate of improvement in him over the YEARS we have been practicing on our own. Just the other week, he had absolute no reaction to people cleaning our home, when 6 weeks ago he was barking his head off at them. I feel much more confident in my skills as Arnold’s mom and handler, and I also feel closer and more understanding of my dog. I have been recommending furget-me-not training to several friends, and I stand by it. They know their stuff. I can’t wait to come back for Reactive 2 and explore the other classes that can really help us and Arnold learn the tools and skills that will help him shine and be the best version of himself no matter the challenge! I love that when I drop my puppy off for daycare, her tail starts wagging before I even park the car. The staff greets her by name with lots of pets and attention. She comes home a tired and happy pup. The staff has been very flexible, accommodating and helpful. I definitely recommend this daycare to others.

Not really feasible. We dropped our Huskey here a couple of times, but one employee insisted that we only only bring him on weekends simply because he barked too much at pickup times. This was despite our dog getting stellar behavior comments from the other employees. We explained that he was vocal because it is a standard huskey characteristic, but he simply did not like our dog. Upon further questioning, we determined that he did not even read the directions we left with our dog and did not even know the dog's gender despite multiple corrections. Weekend daycare is useless to us and we have no time for flaky sensitive employees. We use the place down the road now.

In an area with so many daycare/boarding options I can imagine its difficult to compete however Fur-Get Me Not has won us over. Two months of day care, a full week of boarding, and a great consultation experience. Its team is always open to questions we may have and its nice to see a variety of interactive toys locally. I truly believe the environment here has helped our younger dog come out of her shell and be more social. Highly recommend.

I'm new to the area and found Fur Get Me Not through a Google search and I have had a wonderful experience so far! They have been very good to my dog and I really appreciate how much they communicate with dog owners. I think if you're looking for a place that will make you feel better about leaving your dog for daycare or boarding, this is the place.
