Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!
Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella. We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. We would be honored to have them sit again. On top of their great care they left us a thoughtful friendship gift. zeewoi continues to be the best site ever. Not only do we have great pet sitters for Cella, we also have the opportunity to meet great new friends. Thank you!!
Initially, I was very nervous about finding my very first in-home pet sitter who could provide the level of care and attention our 3 beloved fur-kids required. From the moment Emily and Johnny stepped into our home, I knew they were going to be in good hands. Their gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals instantly put our dogs Gypsy & Johnny at ease. Emily and Johnny took the time to understand our pets’ unique personalities and preferences, ensuring that their every need would be met. During our absence, Emily provided us with regular updates and adorable photos. Their detailed communication gave me peace of mind, knowing that my fur babies were in the best possible hands. Upon our return, we were greeted by a happy and contented gang, who clearly had enjoyed their time with Emily and Johnny. Emily and Johnny are more than just pet sitters; they are true companions to our furry family. Their exceptional care, genuine love for animals, and unwavering dedication have earned them a permanent spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we give Emily and Johnny a 5-star rating and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving caregivers for their beloved pets. THANK YOU Emily and Johnny!!! <3
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!
What an amazing couple we had as pet sitters for our two dogs! You can truly feel their love for animals. Nancy sent pictures a couple of times letting us know that they were having fun also with our Cody and Carson! Our home was perfect when we got home. They even left a beautiful potted flower and card on our island in our kitchen. We highly recommend this couple! Jim & Wanda

My little Lucia loves it there. Not only does she get to see her friends, but she participates in all of the great and creative activities that Happy Tails offers (who knew there was a national whip cream day?). I am forever. Grateful for their support and creating happy happy dogs.
My Ollie loves going to daycare on Mondays and goes to the Happy Campers enrichment camp on Wednesdays. I work from home but he has a lot of energy and I just don't have the time to give to him while working. He always comes home happy and tired after his classes and I love that they send me updates on what he is working on and pictures and sometimes cute art projects. I don't know what I would do without them. They are lifesavers and I know without a doubt that he is in good care and I don't have to worry. Thanks to all of you and especially Rachael for providing this amazing doggie daycare and day camp!!!!!
When I leave my dog at Happy Tails I not only know she will have fun, I also know that she will be safe. Everything about Happy Tails is built out of love for the dogs and you can see that! It is an extremely clean environment and the staff is extremely knowledgeable.
Happy Tails is such an amazing concept and so well executed. My dogs love going to play with their friends! The space is clean and their process for pick-up is organized. I also love their cute photos and event days. I think their pricing is reasonable and they are easy to communicate with. I will be sending my ladies there for a long time.
Happy Tails , This place is the best! They are so friendly, and they truly love your dog! They pay attention to all of the important details. When you walk in the door, they are excited to see you and they know exactly who you are picking up to take home from the daycare. I love going to camp I get to see my friends . I also love all the humans. I love Rachael
Max loves Happy Tails!! Everyone who works there is awesome! Thanks Rachael and the staff for taking care of Max and all the dogs that come here.
Two generations of our dogs have loved Happy Tails! They come home happily exhausted and are always so thrilled to go. The staff is wonderful and super knowledgeable about dog behavior.
Dior loves going to Happy Tails Greenfield. She was a bit nervous her first few times, but she loves her new friends and all the staff that has become like Dior's family. They take such great care of her and we love how they post pictures of her every time she is at Happy Tails. We cannot say enough great things about Happy Tails and we cannot thank them enough for taking amazing care of Dior.
Our dog makes this hysterical noise when we're in the car and she knows we're on our way to Happy Tails. It's like this crazy chittering squirrel noise that I've never heard her make under any other circumstances. It's clearly her "I am so excited I am going to absolutely lose my mind" noise. And Happy Tails is the MOST exciting thing. She loves her dog and human friends there so much. When she comes home, she doesn't make a peep, because she's so content and worn out and sleepy. Cannot possibly recommend them highly enough!
My shih tzu Mookie has been going to Happy Tails since 2020. Every Monday morning he wakes me up and waits to be told that it's "Daycare day!" He gets so excited to go he tries to skip breakfast and potty time and waits by the front door to leave. He knows the route we take to drive there, and his whines of excitement get louder the closer we get. When we arrive, he runs right in to see his friends and never looks back. He always comes home happy and tired. All of the staff that I've interacted with at Happy Tails have been amazing. He wags his tail and is excited to see them no matter who is greeting us at the door. The themed days they put on like spirit week and dressing the dogs up for Halloween are always fun. I have absolutely no reservations leaving my dog in their hands and highly recommend them!
I was returning to this family operation for a second time, I felt I should say why. The place is calm, clean and I know the dogs caretakers because I met them! The Mom of this “Mom and Pop” is just charming, btw, and Pop and Teen Daughter are great too. They are flexible and have several levels of accommodation should you want/need extra TLC for your pet. The welcome questions. But fair warning book ahead to extent you can, they stay fully occupied- I guess the secret is out about the gem. Oh,,, and go figure they are reasonable cost wise too! Bruno was cared for so well, when I returned he wasn’t quite sure he wanted to leave, ok, that’s an exaggeration but he was so happy I knew he had a good stay.
We recently left our 2.5 year old dog while we went camping for 4 days. It was the first time we had left him in the 2 years we have had him. Hickory hills was very accommodating and made both us and our pup feel comfortable during our time apart. We originally had some guilt leaving our dog in a kennel when we are used to being active with him every day, but we would use Hickory Hill again without a doubt.
We have been using for a few years now for weeks at a time and have never had bad experience, very reasonable on their prices with multiple options for your dog or cat. Kennels and surrounding areas always kept clean. Couldn't ask for a better place for you pets.
My Charlie loves to go here. They are wonderful and loving to the pets. Even with anxiety, Charlie just walks away to get to his temp home happy.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend Hickory Hill, although they did come highly recommended to us by two separate people. Our lab came home with a significant skin infection on his face which required shaving, steroids, 21 days of antibiotics, a topical soap, and a cream. This is a dog who has never had a skin issue and whose coat and skin were fine when we dropped him off. Upon arrival home after a 6 day board with our other dog, we noticed right away he had an issue. Initially we thought it was a simple hot spot, however our vet shaved his head, face, and neck which revealed the extent. I received a text message a few days into their stay letting me know that they were both doing well. No mention of any skin issue at that time, nor when they were picked up to go home. When I inquired about whether the staff had noticed any issues, I was informed that they did notice his skin was less than “pristine” however gave me no timeline for when this occurred. I have been asked to chalk it up to the bad weather that occurred during their stay including heat and humidity- although I was also assured they had air conditioning, so I’m not sure which to believe. For a total of nearly $1,000 -$735 for boarding, plus $250 in vet bills (so far), and not to mention the healing process for our dog- I do not feel comfortable recommending their services at this time.
We always trust the folks at Hickory Hill to take great care of our three pups. We love that they can all be together while we are away with a discounted rate for additional dogs in the same kennel. They’ve walked our very difficult dog who pulls a lot and didn’t complain one bit. I’ve always been anxious about my pups when I travel, but now I don’t worry because I know they’re in great hands in a very secure facility. The staff here also couldn’t be nicer!
Actually we use the grooming services here which are wonderful. Shauna the groomer is as sweet and kind as ever and our pups are happy to go see her! It’s clean and comfortable! As far as the kennel the current owners are very welcoming and have done lots of improvements and it just feels warmer and friendlier than ever!
Love the owners. Very well kept and neat. All dogs are wonderful.
We were so worried about our 6 year old, rescue, reactive, Red Heeler/Cattle Dog, Auggie. In the 4 years he’s been with Elizabeth and me, although very loving with us, he has been extremely protective when around other people. Stu, Noreen, and staff members did a fantastic job with him, including taking him for walks, with no incidents. It is a well run facility, reasonable prices, and very nice people. Auggie seems quite content and happy. We’ll be back!
Strongly recommend you leaving your dog here, that is if you love your dog very much. The owners have such amazing attention to detail and truly care about your dog having a good time as much as you do. They offer many additional services, like 2-mile dog walks, play times, and many more. They do such an amazing job with grooming as well and take great pride in what they do. They have years of experience with any type of dog and can really go above and beyond to take care of even the most difficult of dogs. I was also able to get my dog groomed while I was away and he looked absolutely fabulous when I came to pick him up. My dog loves the place so much, he didn't even want to leave!! such an Absolutely amazing place, and you would be silly to go anywhere else to leave your dogs. I strongly recommend them to anyone who loves their dogs and want to feel safe and assured that their dogs will be taken care with love and care that can only come from the best. Hickory Hill Kennel is by far the best dog kennel in Western Massachusetts. My dog looks forward towards going there as much as I look forward towards going on my vacations!!! Their attention to you and your dog is astounding.
I’ve used Sarah’s for off-leash group hikes, 1:1 training, and boarding, and can so highly recommend them for all of these services! They take a lot of care to evaluate dogs for safety and match them based on temperament within the pack. Ryan is just a wonderful trainer - detailed, personalized, and thorough. He’s helped my dog Ada a lot to calm down around guests. Their other walkers are so friendly and attentive as well. Really glad to have found Sarah’s!
Sarah was recommended to us by our venue and we are so thankful to have used her so our pup could be apart of our special day! Sarah was great to work with from start to finish, she was very communicative and accommodating to help make our day run smoothly. She worked so well with our dog and made sure was well loved and cared for all day. We could not recommend Sarah enough!! We could not recommend
I had Sarah bring my dog to my wedding venue for pictures! She was so amazing and took such good care of my dog! She sent us so many updates and pictures throughout the day which made me feel so much better that I got to see how happy Bailey was and how much fun she was having! Thank you so much Sarah for taking such great care of Bailey and helping us make her apart of our special day!
Full service dog care on our wedding day! Sarah came recommended to us from our wedding planner at Valley View Farm and she offered wedding day dog sitting as well as assistance during our ceremony. IT WAS PERFECT! Our pup, Dot, is a little rambunctious and she helped all day by keeping her entertained on the grounds, assisting in photos and retrieving her from the ceremony after walking down the aisle. Having Dot be a part of our day and in the ceremony was such a joy and we could not have done it without Sarah. She even suggested we schedule an evening/dinner time walk so we wouldn’t be rushing back to the hotel. And when we did get back, Sarah had left a couple toys and treats for Dot to enjoy after a good day! If you want you pup to be part of your wedding day - we highly recommend Sarah!
We are very happy with Sarah's Pet Services. The trainers and dog walkers are professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly, our dog just loves the off-leash group hikes!
Sarah was our dog handler for our wedding in Northampton, MA in the fall. She was excellent - beyond our expectations! She truly cared about dog's well being, she not only picked him up and did an excellent job helping us with the ceremony - but went above and beyond. On the way home to drop him off to the boarding facility, she picked our fur baby up a pup cup and sent us pictures! She allowed me to have an stress-free wedding day because she took such great care of our dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for dog care on your wedding day.
Sarah was so amazing! She brought her daughter with her to take care of my bunny (after checking that it was okay with me of course) and they were both so good with him. Sarah even brought apple tree twigs from her house to give to moose to snack on and they became one of his favorite things. She was prompt and even took him on knowing that he had some special needs, which I appreciated beyond belief. She also came to my house on a holiday even though it is a little far of a drive. Truly an amazing experience and I will be using her from now on whenever I am away.
We've had an amazing experience with Sarah's Pet Services, with two different dogs over the past three years. We have used them for daytime walks, group hikes with other dogs, and daytime training sessions for our new puppy. They are very responsive, give us lots of feedback (and daily cute dog pics, for a little emotional lift while we're at work!), and the staff are all highly knowledgable and helpful. We've been especially grateful to have their help recently as we address some behavior issues with our puppy; we get daily updates on what they see during the visits, what they've been working on with her, and suggestions for steps we can take while training at home. It has made a huge difference for our puppy, and it's a great comfort to know that everyone working with her is on the same page and working towards the same goals. And the group hikes have been fantastic -- frankly we're a little jealous of all the outdoor time with friends and exercise that the pup gets, and we come home to a happy tired dog every time.
I had a lot of trouble finding someone to take my Doberman, most facilities once they heard Doberman turned us away. Not Sarah’s pet service, they happily excepted saint! Ryan came and met saint and took the time to understand his personality. With slow introduction saint immediately told me that he loved Ryan. Every time one of the walkers comes to take saint for a hike they did it with such ease and we’re so professional. Saint now waits for his pals and gets so excited. Shoutout to Bryan and Noam and Ryan as well, they are saints main walkers and have been nothing but amazing to saint. I know I can trust them and that just puts me as a dog mom at peace. Thank you Sarah’s pet service for everything, you guys have been a blessing❤️
I feel so grateful to have been recommended Sarah's Pet Services. Bixby and I have been working with Ryan Hall, who has been beyond fantastic. When I adopted Bixby, he had behavioral issues around me leaving the apartment - he would bark from when I left to when I returned. It was negatively impacting my life and Bixby did not seem happy and comfortable in his new home. Furthermore, I was at a point of panic, having to start an in-person job, where Bixby could not join me, and I really needed help. I was so afraid of needing to re-home Bixby, which would have been truly heartbreaking. I received Ryan's number from a friend who also works with Sarah's Pet Services. I had no idea what I was doing, but Ryan was welcoming and accommodating with his schedule to get us started right away. Ryan is incredibly supportive and, when we met, he understood where Bixby and I were and our situation. He is patient and kind to both of us. All of Bixby's trainings were well explained and clear goals were set at the end of each session. Ryan would come to my apartment for the trainings, which was convenient. He is an excellent communicator, reliable, and trustworthy. It is very obvious to me that he is very much invested in Bixby's journey and I am very thankful for that. For over 2 weeks now, Bixby has successfully been left home alone daily in his crate and even neighbors have remarked on his success and good progress. I cannot recommend enough how beneficial these training sessions have been. I had tried YouTube videos, forums, all sorts of different tools, puzzles, noise machines, music, etc., and nothing was clicking. Not only is he not barking whenever I'm away, but when I'm home, he's clearly much happier and more comfortable in his space. Having grown up and owned dogs my whole life, I had the misconception that I wouldn't need a trainer for guidance. But it has been educational and invaluable for my relationship with Bixby. I intend to continue to work with Ryan to help Bixby with socializing with other dogs. We're both looking forward to learning more!
I love this place! The staff are friendly, fun and knowledgeable and clearly love the pets. The place is multi-faceted, clean and welcoming. The rates and options are flexible. I no longer worry at all about my girl while she is there. She tends to be a bit anxious but she runs in that door right over to her best friend Bree (hope the spelling is right) and comes home relaxed and happy.
I have had nothing but good experiences at," The Good Dog Spot" in Northampton, Massachusetts. My young dog, Henry, was initially enrolled in puppy daycare until he graduated into the adult group. He goes there twice a week to interact with other dogs as well as people. As a result, despite the fact that he is only a little over 1 and 1/2 years old at this time, people are amazed at how calm and gentle he is. He does not act like an undisciplined puppy. He acts like a confident, well-mannered, extremely well socialized adult dog. I recently had to go on a trip which lasted a week. I boarded my young dog as well as a 17-year-old senior dog with dementia. I also boarded two 10-year-old cats. The staff was wonderful interacting with all of my animals and emailed me daily reports as to their health from snout to tail! Three of my animals were on daily medications and they administered them without any difficulty. They also reported that medications were given and also how their appetites were. Based on the aforementioned experiences, I would highly recommend," The Good Dog Spot" not only as a place to socialize your dog, but as a wonderful place with highly trained staff if daycare or boarding is needed.
I used to bring my dog here frequently. This summer I left my small miniature dachshund at the Northampton location for the weekend. When I picked her up, she was clearly not taken care of. She was covered in her own urine and feces. Not only that but all her bedding and blankets were given back to me covered in the same urine and feces. When I asked about what happened the staff were incredibly dismissive with one of the men there saying in a very annoyed tone of voice “seems like it’s pretty evident she peed.” I will never leave my furry friend here again. I still never got an explanation other than the manager I talked to after trying to talk in circles around the point.
The Good Dog Spot has been incredible and far surpassed my expectations! Our puppy was enrolled in the Spot's Tots program where they did all sorts of training and exercises with him to help him become a well acclimated young man. He quickly graduated to the program for older dogs, and had a great first day. The prices are reasonable for the level of care that is given. I would happily recommend The Good Dog Spot to anyone!
Boarded my cats here for just over a week and was very happy with the experience! I got daily reports of how they were doing, which helped with any anxiety about leaving them at a new place. The staff is also very responsive and made it easy for me to pay ahead of time and have a friend pick my pets up. My cats came home very happy which tells me they had a good experience at the Good Dog Spot. It feels good to find a place that I can trust with my cats, and I already have plans to board them here again!
I had my dog kiya groomed here and as a first time customer here I had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Kiya had a shed treatment and a full groom and she looks fabulous! She wasn't on edge at all, just a happy puppy when she came out! Thank you guys so much! Will DEFINITELY be back!
Very friendly staff. My pup loves her once a week play group. I recently took a vacation and felt at ease knowing my girl was in good hands in their boarding facility.
Staff at the Good Dog Spot are wonderful with our puppy. She always comes home happy and tired. Thank you!
Received expensive, mediocre hair cut for my small dog along with a “report card” upon pick up, which told me he earned a B grade. Sooooo… are you hoping I train him up for next time so he can earn an A? Or are you just reporting to me that he was a handful and your groomer wasn’t trained or experienced enough to comfortably handle him?
The Good Dog Spot was recommended to me for boarding for my puppy Wilbur. And they are fantastic. They are thoughtful and thorough when accommodating your dogs needs. When I came to pick him up the next day he was in no rush to leave The Good Dog Spot…so I think it’s safe to say your dog or pup will be in good hands with them. They offer an extensive list of packages and services at great prices. Highly recommend!!
I am always totally comfortable leaving our dog at The Valley Inn for Pets. The staff is so attentive and friendly. There are so many extra services that I feel our dog is more than pampered during his stay- he's spoiled! Having the veterinary clinic attached is an added benefit. I wouldn't even consider anyplace else. Thanks very much, Valley Inn for Pets, you're the best!
Great place for dogs! We left our for 10 days. Every day we received pictures from walks. Also watched for pup through webcam. Today we took away healthy and happy dog :)
My girls get super excited when we get to the parking lot and always come home healthy and happy. From the notes, I can tell the staff know my dogs' real personalities; I know the staff is putting in the work. PS: I read some reviews where people seemed confused about how much time their pets spend in a cage. Boarding (e.g. caged for some %) is offered as a different service than doggy daycare, I believe that you effectively have to pay for both for your pet to receive playtime, make sure you ask about boarding costs as well as daycare cost.
Let me preface this review with the fact that I am a long time client of valley vet and everyone there has been great. Valley inn for pets on the other hand is not somewhere I would recommend. Recently did some boarding and daycare for my dog and a big selling point for me was the ability to check in via camera feed. My wife and I diligently checked the camera feed and for the most part she was barely taken out of her isolated room. When I think of doggy daycare I think of socializing and play. This is more so a kennel to keep your dog safe but they will get close to no actual time outside their kennels. Also the staff was not very friendly or accommodating and it didn't seem like they really gave her much attention. Will not being using this service again.
A wonderful environment for dogs and cats! I love valley inn and valley vet :)
What once was a great place, is now horrible. We'll never return after 15+ years. We dropped off our healthy dog for a long weekend while we went to visit a dying relative. When we got her home, our dog was very, very ill (which was the first we became aware . . . they couldn't even lift a phone to call us). This resulted in even further expenses to take her to her vet. I have noticed a major attitude change in the past couple of visits to the Valley Inn for Pets. I asked the person at the front desk to put a blanket or two in her bed. Well they brought the blanket in and left it on the floor, not the bed, so that was worthless. They no longer act in a caring way. The staff just does not display a genuine concern for our pets, and all conversations are scripted. Think twice before you bring your beloved canine family members to this place. In response to your comment, thank you, and yes, I have found an excellent vet as well as a boarding and grooming facility that is excellent.
When we moved to the area, we decided on sending our dog to a doggie daycare once a week or more. We went to a few different places and landed on Valley Inn for Pets. 3-4 years later, we are still happily taking our dog there. All of the staff are really welcoming and kind. Our dog is really high energy but they really do a great job of being able to work with any kind of dog. I feel safe leaving my dog here for daycare or boarding because I know the staff will take good care of my boy and alert me if anything goes wrong. If you board your dog, you will get a report card when you pick them up which is a very nice touch. They have kennel cams that allow you to access live feed which is reassuring when you are miles away! I will continue to bring my dog here as long as we are in the area. Thank you, Valley Inn for Pets for ALL you do -- it does not go unnoticed!
Called to set up a daycare time. First they said they had room for my dog. Then they said my dog would not have playtime, because they were full. When I questioned if they really had room for my dog to stay and play with other dogs they said no. I did not want to have my dog stay in a crate all day. It was very confusing as to whether or not they had room. When I asked again about the details to try to understand what my dogs day would be like, they said we have no room. I won't be recommending them. I am not sure what they do with the dogs or how they manage the daycare.
My two large dogs, Duke and Dorothy were wonderfully taken care of in their 6 day stay at the Valley Inn. I called to check on them and was given a nice detailed report on their current activity, the staff are wonderful, and I would highly recommend the Valley Inn.
Staff are great and always welcoming, my dog is so excited Everytime she "gets" to visit. Even our cat loves this place! We get full reports and even get text messages to watch our dog go out and play (which she seems to spend most if her time "helping" the people watch the other dogs). Our dog is such a nerd.... Truly loves coming here & even loves her vet visits. They're doing something right!
This place is TERRIFIC. My pup has only been going here for a few weeks, but he is THRIVING. He's EXCITED to go & tired when he's picked up at the end of the day. His LISTENING SKILLS are much better as well as his PLAYTIME skills with other dogs. Wish we switched him sooner.
Staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We've always found them to care for the dogs. Would recommend this place.
Great place for pets! Last weekend I accompanied a friend who was adopting two cats from Heroes (yes, Heroes is dog-focused, but at the time they had a family of rescued cats seeking homes). The Heroes staff was fantastic! Caring, friendly and professional, and the cats were wonderfully cared for.
This place is the best thing that has happened for our dog Maisey, from the daycare to private training, and group classes, it's help us build a confident happy dog who is learning how to focus and listen.
First time there, my dog loved the training room! Excellent!
The owner loves what she does.. or at least it looks that way. Clean facility as well...
Great facility and staff :)
Absolutely love Pet Hotel Hadley. My dog has been there for daycare and boarding and I have nothing but praise. The photo opts (see below) are always adorable and they clearly care for the dogs. My little guy can be nervous around other dogs and they do a great job getting him acclimated. I’d recommend them to anyone. (He looks terrified in the photo below, but that’s just how he always looks)
We take our dog Molly to Pet Hotel Hadley and she absolutely LOVES it. The staff are SUPER friendly and are always excited to see our pup!! We like that she comes home tired from playing with all her friends, it's definitely worth every penny! Added bonus: they have special pop up events for all the pups at daycare for that day. All of the dogs get their picture taken by Honey Lens Photography against backdrops related to that holiday or special event and it gets posted to their social media pages! SO CUTE! We have also had our pup groomed by Robin and she came out looking like a show dog!! Thank you Pet Hotel Hadley for taking care of our sweet fur baby!
Absolutely amazing staff! We had plans in the area from out of state. The arrangements we had made to care for our dog Falkor fell through at the last moment. When I called the Pet Hotel to inquire as to whether they could accommodate a last minute request for daycare they were eager to assist. Warm, friendly, and accommodating are just a few of the ways I would describe the staff. Although not likely to be back in the area again, we will absolutely trust them with our dog if the occasion arises.
We LOVE Pet Hotel Hadley! It is truly a luxury, fun-filled experience for my dog! All of the staff are so kind and caring— they give my sweet, anxious pup lots of love when he visits! Whether it's daycare or nights away from home, I know he's in good hands! They have super fun theme days with activities, treats, and photos. Robin the groomer is also fantastic!!! Highly recommend!
I can't thank Pet Hotel Hadley enough for the wonderful care they provided for my dog, Enzo, over the holiday and during daycare. From the moment I dropped him off, I felt completely at ease knowing he would be in such caring hands. The staff is incredibly warm, professional, and truly passionate about animals. A special thank you to Olga—she was absolutely amazing! You could see how much she genuinely cares for the pets in her care, and her kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. She made sure Enzo was comfortable, happy, and well looked after, which meant the world to me. If you're looking for a safe, loving place to care for your furry friend, I wholeheartedly recommend Pet Hotel Hadley. They treat every pet like family, and I’ll definitely be trusting them with Enzo again in the future. Thank you again, Pet Hotel Hadley, for making my holiday stress-free and for taking such loving care of my boy!
Pet Hotel Hadley is the best! They’re kind, caring and go above and beyond. I mean, when I’m working and can get photos like this of Mocha, why wouldn’t I think they’re the best?!
Place has a great staff who actually care about the animals. They do little events often for the dogs and have photos taken in theme. They do birthday shout outs for their animals and chances are if your dog goes to the hotel, you’ll find many pictures of them on the facebook page. Great place!
We used Pet Hotel in Hadley last year. This was my first time dropping my puppy at any dog boarding. Natalie was amazing! If it wasn’t for her I probably would’ve been turned off on this place due to the lack of customer service on the other workers there. She answered all of my questions and helped me be at ease. She was kind and welcoming!!
I love the pet hotel! And my furry baby does too! They provide excellent service and are super friendly and nice. My dog came back super clean and a hype new cut. 10/10
From my first contact with Natalie who is the sweetest and handled everything professionally and quickly to Olga who took care of our pup. This was Millie's first time and she loved every minute of all the attention and love the entire staff gave her. We will definately be back!
We worked with Laura about a year ago, to do basic walking, greeting, and behavioral training. I still think about the things she taught us today, with each walk. The experience with Laura changed our relationship with our dog and we are very grateful for her a knowledge and tips. I feel like we use some of it to train our kid too! :) We highly recommend her!
Laura is wonderful! We were really anxious since we had never left our two little Shih tzus with a pet sitter before and needed some help for a day. Laura is amazingly meticulous and very conscientious. She came over to meet us, went for a walk with us around the neighborhood to see where she should take them, and asked lots of questions to know exactly how they liked things. Our dogs were instantly comfortable with her, and it is clear she has a special way with animals. We had her come twice during the day, and she very kindly sent email updates with pictures of the little girls which put our minds at ease while we were away. When we got home, the doggies were happy and content and not at all anxious that we had been away. Thank you so much Laura! We highly recommend her and will use her again whenever we need help.
Laura was VERY helpful. I called her initially to hope to set something up to train my new pup and she talked with me for at least a half hour about tips and tricks to help my pup get used to her crate. We then scheduled a 1 on 1 and met with Laura for an hour and we went through ALL the issues my dog was having and she showed us how to help train on our own to help our pup become a great dog! Highly recommend! She was so very pleasant to work with and even followed up a couple weeks later to see how the pup was doing.
I am so grateful to have found Laura as a sitter for our cats. She got to know them both, spent quality time with them while we were away, and took the worry away from traveling. I HIGHLY recommend her for anything to do with animals! They will be in professional and compassionate hands.
Laura is beyond excellent with cats. We have a 6yr old Norwegian Forest Cat who only hangs out with us, and hides whenever anyone else enters the house. She's also a nervous wreck when when she stays at a Kennel. Laura came to see her twice a day for 2+ weeks, and became Feather's first new friend in 6 years. Laura was so patient and determined to get Feather out of her shell and it eventually worked! Feather was--for the first time--completely her fabulous, relaxed self when we returned from vacation. Thanks for the peace of mind, Laura!
Elena D: We needed someone to stay with our puppy, Ollie while we were out of town for the day. Laura came highly recommended. Laura came over to meet Ollie prior to dog sitting and there was an instant connection. Laura is very friendly and professional and has an impressive amount of knowledge and experience with dogs. It was so comforting to know that he was in such good hands. I will continue to rely on Laura for all my dog sitting needs.
Laura has been a great resource for me and my partner. We've had three sessions with her and our 2 year old rescue that we just adopted. She's helped us a lot! The first immediate thing was helping to train our dog (and us) how to walk well on a leash. From there, we worked on a number of other commands, which our dog has picked up quickly. She's really improved to the point where are neighbors are complementing us on her leash manners. Laura is always on time, checks in on our progress, and is always willing to stay a little after to chat about any challenges we're facing. Would highly recommend to anyone!
When looking for a pet sitter, we figured anybody good would be hard to get. We called Laura and she had availability and came to meet our 2 corgis , Barney and Lucy. They bonded almost instantly. When we went away twice recently, she kept us informed and emailed us with any questions (which we like). She sent us a picture of them and they looked very happy. Upon returning, you could tell everything was well. Laura even left notes at each visit for us. She sees things about the dogs that we don't see. She goes the extra mile! Barney and Lucy can't wait for us to go on a trip again. Robin & Henry Baj
Laura cares for our dog Lavender regularly, both midday visits and overnight when needed. She recently cared for her while we were away for almost 2 weeks including overnight and daytime visits. Laura was very conscientious when she first met with us, took her time to meet Lav and ask all appropriate questions so that she would be prepared. She leaves notes after every visit to let us know how things went and any concerns she noted. Before we left for an overnight or extended vacation she met with us again to review new expectations or tasks she would need to manage. She is very detailed about getting all the information she will need (even things I did not think about); she makes sure to have necessary contact info, etc. She emailed us while we were gone, sent us some photos of Lav to put our minds at ease that she was doing fine. Everything was in great shape when we returned and Lavender is always well cared for. She will continue to visit Lav weekly and I have already booked her for our next time away. I highly recommend Laura to care for your pet!
Laura has been a huge asset to our family. We first adopted Johnny, a very energetic 7 month old rescue pup that didn’t know how to properly walk on a leash without biting it (very least of our problems!) to having my 9 year old son teach him “paw” all in a matter of three weeks. Johnny is now a well-mannered puppy who has the willingness to learn. Laura has been so very supportive and encouraging. Her positive energy is very rewarding and helpful. Laura is excellent!
When I was planning to adopt a dog, I knew I needed a sitter because I travel frequently. Lynne's Luv-A-Pup Petsitting was the perfect answer. Lily, my beloved Yorkie, stays with Lynne when I'm away and I'm 100% confident that she's getting great care. I highly recommend Luv-A-Pup and so does Lily who's always happy and healthy when I come to pick her up. Five Stars!
Lynne has been our dog walker for as long as we have had our rescue dog, Prince Hairy. When we were working, she would take him out for long walks a few times a week. Now that we are retired, she is available for overnights in her dog friendly home. Prince Hairy came to us at approximately 1.5 years of age. He was very anxious and insecure. She worked with him intensely to gain his trust. That was more than 11 years ago. She is reliable and observant. She has pointed out concerns that we were not aware of. Most importantly, we leave with total trust that he is in good hands.
Lynne is a wonderful, caring sitter. The animals love her. We had to leave our dog for a few days soon after we got her, and Lynne’s calm energy (and Tiny) helped her feel right at home. Even the cat likes getting his medicine when she gives it to him. Highly recommend her!
Lynne is very flexible with scheduling and a wonderful home based dog boarding experience. Lynne takes my dog on hikes with her dog and my dog comes home happy and calm! Highly recommend Lynne’s care!
Luv-a-Pet couldn't be a better title for Lynne and her service. She has cared for our dog, Sachi, for going on 3 years and has been fabulous. Her little dog, Tiny, is a bonus and fun for Sachi to hang out with. Lynne walks the dogs she cares for and plays with them. This past year Sachi had surgery and was ill this spring. We had a weekend trip scheduled and Lynne took care of Sachi - she is the only person we would trust Sachi with under the circumstances. She even took her to the vet while we were gone. Couldn't ask for a more caring and concerned pet-sitter. Highly recommend!!!!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lynne and the care she has given to my dog Rosie, and now our newer dog. From weekly walks to overnite stays I always have peace of mind that my dogs are safe and having way more fun with Lynne than if with me. Highly recommend!!
Lynne does a great job!
I highly recommend Mukota Kennels. We were in Keene for an event and needed to board our pup who doesn't always do well with other dogs and is a diabetic needing insulin twice a day. I was able to talk with staff ahead of our stay to ensure they were aware of our dogs need and also received confirmation of his successful first injection. We enjoyed our event knowing our dog was in good hands and will certainly use this kennel again if we find ourselves in the area!
Crystal and everyone at Mukota is awesome and so kind! We boarded our dog with them for 21 days and they took such wonderful care of her. I see a review someone just posted about Kennel size and like you said in the review you didn't board your dog there so honestly I see this review as unfair. I am here to tell you that this is a wonderful caring facility that loves dogs and you will have a very pampered pup! We were 8000 miles away in the Philippines on vacation yet almost everyday Crystal stayed in contact with us and shared pictures of our dog.
I have had my dog here and he absolutely LOVES it! Once we get on the road to get to the kennel, my dog is so eager to get there. He knows he’s gonna have a good day! He always comes back tired! Crystal is very friendly and tries to accommodate me and my schedule. I am very happy with the care of my dog gets there. I highly recommend them!
Left my dogs here for a 4 day getaway. When we picked them up their bellies were damp and they all smelled like pee. Had to bathe them at home, and now they are showing symptoms of kennel cough. Dogs are kept in too close of quarters to eachother. Had I done my proper due diligence to vet out the place before hand I would never have used them, but I was stuck in a time crunch. The dogs were attended to and fed, but I would not recommend. Edit: after posting this review they reached out to me and refunded the stay. I appreciate the response and trying to make it right, but still probably will not be a return customer.
I haven't boarded my dog here, so I'm giving a 2 star instead of a 1 star. I want potential customers to know my experience with lack of transparency when I spoke with Mukota about boarding my dog. I sent an email with three simple, standard questions that could be answered in an email, including the dimensions of the indoor run my dog would be in and whether they could send me photos of it. Instead of just answering the simple questions in an email, they requested a phone call. I knew this was a bad sign but said okay. During the call, I was told they don't know the dimensions. Really? You can't grab a tape measure and find out? And you can't tell me a client hasn't asked such a standard question before. As for photos, I was told they can't take any because it's a long building. I told them I don't need a photo of the building - can they just take a couple of the indoor run my dog would stay in? Again, the answer was no because it's a long building. I still have not solved that head scratcher and have no idea what the building dimension has to do with it. I was offered a tour but explained it's not worth the time spent unless I see a photo first. I ended up looking at Yelp reviews - someone managed just fine to put indoor photos there. I wasn't impressed with what I saw. Mukota needs to understand that any reputable kennel can readily share room dimensions and photos and many will even post photos and video tours online. I know you show many photos of the exterior online, but you need to include all areas the dog would stay in.
Boarded my 2 year old puppy for two nights, and this was her first ever experience being boarded. She appeared to survive it. Upon arriving, Crystal had already reviewed my feeding instructions. When I went to pick her up she ran to Crystal, the attendant, and not to me! Good sign. She was very calm upon picking her up and did not appear to be fazed. My puppy will be back.
I absolutely love this kennel and the care my dogs receive. Jess has changed my life. Her kennel was recommended by my daughter in law. For years, I never could take a trip with my husband because, I felt, my dogs weren’t boardable as they are dog aggressive. Jess has a great system where your dogs do not go near any other dogs if requested. They have a private outdoor kennel to enjoy when they are there. They have stayed multiple times and come home calmer than before. I now can book trips and not worry one bit once I leave them there. Jess did not have accommodations once and I asked if she could but is on a cancel list because we needed to attend a funeral. I had sent an email late at night and she responded within minutes telling me she was sorry for my loss and she would squeeze them in. She is that amazing and caring!!!!
We went on vacation and our puppy stayed with Mukota Kennels for 5 nights and he was perfectly happy, healthy, and a little sad to leave his friends when we picked him up! He was able to go for walks and have scheduled play time with other dogs. They were very kind and they even washed and dried his toys for us before we picked him up! Great pricing and they truly care about your pup! We will definitely be back!
We love Mukota Kennels! We have gone there for training and boarding with our dog, and prior to adopting our pup I visited Mukota many times with foster dogs and to walk dogs waiting for adoption. I have dropped by unannounced to get my dog used to all of the sights and sounds of other dogs (and so he doesn't associate the kennel with just boarding or just training) and have never witnessed anything but safe conditions and excellent care of the animals by the staff. The owners and caregivers are always friendly and take great care of the animals, and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend Mukota to all of our doggy friends and many of them use Mukota for training and boarding now. All are happy customers!
I love Mukota Kennel. The staff and owners are amazing! They love each and every dog, cat, or pig that comes through their doors. My dogs have attended doggy daycare and have been boarded there numerous times... for, I think, 5 years or more now. They also offer dog training, which my dog aggressive dog, Lola attends. Together we have worked with Lola to the point she is now dog reactive. I didn't know what to do with her when I first realized she was dog aggressive. Jess, Deb, and Michelle assured me they could help us and they were right. She now tolerates others and is a very smart, well behaved dog. I certainly couldn't have done it without them. I am grateful for their help, their love for my dogs, and their friendship every day! I highly recommend them.
