Thank you for taking great care of our cats last minute whilst we were away. Both cats were very happy when we returned. Will definitely choose Sophie’s Petcare in the future.

I was delayed by a day in Florence because of an accident but I texted Sophie’s and Adam responded immediately. They stepped up like troupers and continued to feed my cat without drama or fuss. In a world of ‘don’t care companies’ Sophie’s are faultless. Thank you for all your care and attention and the photograph of Daisy while I was away.

We have been using Sophies Pet Care since August for our 2 dogs, Scooby and Bentley. We do a lot of the dog walking but they do 3 walks a week and both dogs love it. It has helped with them getting used to other dogs again. The team at Sophies are simply the best and nothing is too much trouble. Really impressed by what they do and how they do it - thank you!

If you are looking for an amazing pet sitting service, look no further than Sophie's Pet Care. I cannot recommend them more highly. They are extremely professional with a very good team of nannies working for them. I have used them for quite a few years now and both my dogs absolutely love going to stay with them and their nannies. It is a home from home experience for them and therefore I can relax and not have to worry about them. Sophie takes on board all their traits, likes and dislikes so they are looked after the same as I would look after them. Their on line booking in system is very user friendly and makes booking so easy. I totally recommend Sophies Pet Care and so do my dogs!!!

We have recently been having our young boy Lab (20 months) walked with Sophie's Pet Care 3 times a week. He thoroughly enjoys the forest walks and, as he is being walked with other dogs, it has really helped with his dog socialisation.

Thank you ever so much for taking such good care of our cats and guinea pig. We have been away and we're always nervous of leaving them in a cattery, but Sophie's Pet Care came twice a day, in the comfort of our fur babies own home. They kept us updated and the utility room was lovely and clean when we got home. Thank you, will definitely use again. Lots of love from Loki, Leonardo, Alfonso and Cloud :)

Other reviews seem favourable hence why we chose Sophies to look after our cat and fish while we were away. Wish we hadn't bothered now as we ended up over £600 out of pocket. Could not manage to empty a litter tray correctly just removing the solids and tops of clumped litter meaning the entire bottom layer of litter was solid. This resulted in her refusing to use the tray and peed on our bed instead. Depite trying to get it cleaned and using enzyme cleaners the mattress could not be saved and had to be replaced at a cost of over £600. The scoop was right next to the tray, no attempt was made to contact us (we were in the UK and both mobile numbers were provided). I know the response from the owners will cite "stress" but I strongly refute this - she has never peed anywhere but the tray in her 7 years even when we had new central heating replaced by several plumbers, storms, fireworks etc etc. Yes, we were given a refund for the £65 we paid out but that didn't even cover the cost of trying to save the mattress. Overall the service was a huge disappointment and an expensive lesson. Might I suggest you stick to walking dogs?

Sophie's Pet Care have been so helpful over the last couple of years since I have been using them for dog walks. They always manage to fit us in when I need help at the last minute. The best thing is that my dog absolutely loves his walks, the other dogs and all of the rangers! I couldn't be without Sophie's so THANK YOU!

We have now used Sophie's Pet Care for a couple of years...we have always experienced a friendly and professional service - never has there been anything other than this which has made us, and our Cockerpoo, very happy. Whether it be a mid-day walk whilst we're out working, or a holiday whilst we're away, the team are so friendly, trustworthy and reliable we know our dog is nothing but looked after. We were very much impressed with Sophie's Cats. They mix efficiency with understanding of and fondness for cats. We returned after 10 days away to find the place clean and tidy, and two well groomed and happy cats. Use this firm : You won't get better.

This is the first time I have left my dog to someone else to walk. Nicola is 5 star! I didn't really trust my Jack, Russell with other dogs when walking. But felt at ease when I saw how good he was with other dogs when in a group. Well done Nicola!! Recomend Nicola. X

George has been lucky to have been looked after by Nicola she is really great with dogs. George was quite nervous around dogs when he first went to Nicola but she was patient with him and he soon settled in and became a much more sociable dog. Thank you Nicola for helping George become more confident he loves coming.

Nicola helped us out short notice and looked after our 2 dogs whilst we were visiting the isle of wight for a week. She responded really quickly to the enquiry and was really flexible. Sent a pic shortly after dropping them off to show they had settled OK. Would happily take my dogs there again if we come back again.

We left our little dog at Happy Pooch for 3 nights recently and I’m SO glad that we did. We took our dog to meet Nicola before booking to check compatibility. At the time, we were shown where our dog would be staying and how everything operates. We filled in the paperwork there and then, which saved us a lot of time on the drop-off date, and everything was incredibly thorough and above board. We weren’t sure how our dog would cope in a different environment with other dogs around, but Nicola kept us updated throughout with videos and pictures, which was incredibly reassuring. I felt much happier knowing she was not locked up alone, crying in a kennel, and had constant care and attention as well as the ability to roam around and socialise whenever she wanted. Communication at all stages was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for Nicola. I’m sure our dog felt like she was on holiday and we are excited to use Happy Pooch again in a few weeks!

We are so happy to have found Nicola of Happy Pooch. She has been excellent with our gorgeous boy. After an initial meet and greet then a trial walk, Nicola was able to answer our questions, she worked on recall call and socialising our dog. He is much better off the lead and loves being with other dogs. She is so welcoming and professional. We are given updates on his walks which I love. I would definitely recommend Happy Pooch. Nicola is very reliable, flexible and local which is great and clearly loves what she does.

My puppy, Ava, absolutely loves to go over and spend a day with Nicola and the other dogs. She started off a bit shy but now will happily hop through the front door and go off to play. She even had a couple of sleepovers the other weekend. Having frequent updates with videos is lovely to have throughout the day and Nicola’s home is such a great atmosphere for the dogs.

Nicola is so kind and lovely. You can tell she really loves dogs which made me feel so at ease leaving my girl in her hands. We had a wedding on the island so Nicola took care of her while we were able to enjoy. She sent me pictures and videos throughout the day which reassured me our girl was okay. Great service. Nicola, always keeps us updated with pictures and videos of my dog. Nicola has also been excellent at introducing my dog to other other dogs, especially as she is a rescue and needed a longer introduction period.

We cant believe how lucky we feel, finding Nicola! Max immediately built a bond with her and now loves every day during the working week, going out and exploring with her and his new furry friends. We were always anxious with a new dog walker on how they would pair dogs together but with Nicola, she has done an incredible job! So blessed to have her as our dog walker and we look forward to the daily videos. Couldn't think of any better dog walker, for our boy ❤️

Nicola is brilliant with dogs, and has accommodated to our dogs need of possibly long term boarding. Drake is very happy at Nicola's and enjoys the company of other dogs. We are very satisfied that Drake is well looked after and recieve photos and videos.

Our cockapoo Charlie has stayed with Jamie 3 times now and he has such a good time. She looks after the dogs as if they are her own and is very knowledgable. Jamie has extensive grounds for the dogs to enjoy and Charlie is always looking fit, healthy and loved when he returns.

Our goldendoodle Honey loves going to stay with Jamie for her holidays and cant wait to get out of the car when we arrive . Jamie is so professional and kind to the dogs. There is so much space for Honey to run around and she gets very long walks. We would never consider leaving her anywhere else. Thank you Jamie for being there for Honey.

Jamie is fabulous, very caring, kind, knowledgeable and professional. Jamie provides a wonderful home and environment to all her guests and our cockapoo always enjoys her stays and fellow companions. Barkers Home Boarding has provided an absolutely outstanding service for our spaniel Lottie over the past three years. Lottie loves being with Jamie and always enjoys her holidays there, she seems reluctant to leave again. Jamie is outstanding and totally reliable and is a real testament to her business. If I was a dog, I would check myself in !

A truly wonderful place to board your dog in such a beautiful private setting and safe, secure surroundings. Our dogs absolutely love it, they howl with excitement as we turn into the lane leading to Barkers, they leap out of the car and don’t look back! They completely adore Jamie and her wonderful walks, she is totally professional, so kind and capable and we feel a huge relief knowing that they’re in her competent hands whilst we’re away. We’ve found nowhere else comparable and would recommend Barkers without hesitation.

Archie's been going to Barkers twice a week for day care and regular sleep over's for 5 years now and he loves it! There's not even a backward glance when we drop him off. He's grown into a sociable obedient good boy and that's largely thanks to Jamie who is amazing. We can't thank Jamie enough for giving us piece of mind and our boy such fantastic and fun adventures, and tiring him out too! We'd thoroughly recommend Jamie and Barkers - she'll look after your good boy or girl like they're her own.

Barkers is the best dog care we have ever used. Jamie has provided a place for our Springer Spaniel on numerous occasions and each visit has been extremely positive. Our springer literally bounces out of the car when we arrive and quickly settles in. The care provided is exceptional and we would highly recommend Barkers for either day or boarding. It is home away from home for dogs.

Can't recommend Barkers enough! Our cockapoo, Arlo, loves Jamie and is so excited to see her and arrive at her house. She is so lovely and fantastic with dogs and we feel very happy knowing he is being looked after so well whilst we’re away. Thanks Jamie!

Jamie provides a loving, fun & safe environment for our dog Wilbur. He loves staying with her and runs in to her without a backwards glance. It's such a relief to know that's he's living his best life while we're away.

I can’t praise Jamie highly enough. She is so reliable and has helped us out so many times. Bret and Tasha absolutely love staying with her, I think they may prefer her actually! She always keeps in contact and we love the photos she sends when we are away and she is looking after the pups for us. Thank you again Jamie!
