Tails In The City is simply the best dog service imaginable. I have moved for work quite a bit since I first got my dog Penny, and this is the only daycare, boarding experience she is fundamentally happy to go to. Ken and Gary care so much about the dog son their care, and are simply wonderful people. Tail towers was a game changer for me in Amsterdam. Penny got picked up in the morning and dropped off late afternoon every week day, she got multiple walks a day, tons of play time with the other dogs, and so many places to nap and be comfortable. When I traveled she was loved and cared for as if she were their dog. Don’t hesitate, get your dog signed up for Tail Towers as soon as you can!

Gary and Ken have been our dog walkers/ sitters now for almost the entire 2 years we have been in Amsterdam. They've always been there for us whether its been for a vacation, or just me getting stuck at work late. Our dog Buddy goes twice a week for Old Doggy Day Care and the pictures Gary sends definitely show Buddy is having a great time. I'm pretty sure Buddy likes Ken more than me.

Tails of the City is amazing! Our dog goes there every week for the daycare and she absolutely loves it. Gary and Ken provide us with lovely pictures and videos which make us feel not only that our dog is safe there but that she is having loads of fun (and so are they!). It is definitely her favorite day of the week. I used to joke that she prefers Gary to us, but I’m starting to suspect that is actually true. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Tails of the City! I am really grateful to have found them after so many bad experiences in Amsterdam. Tails is trustworthy, consistent and caring - and I think it really comes down to one simple thing: They love animals. Tails takes such good care of Joey, who is getting old and sick. They are gentle and calm, and give him just the right chin skritches to make him a happy cat. The best part - they send cute photo updates. You really can't ask for more. 😸

Gary and Ken (who run Tails of the City) are the people I trust most with looking after my Frenchie, Albie, whilst I'm at work / away from Amsterdam. Both of them care so deeply for all the dogs that they look after and make sure that they have great experiences through play, walks, snuggles and sleep! They're also great at communication with me as an owner - a couple of times, changes in Albie's behaviour/habits have been shared which has led to me making different decisions with him (in particular going to vets or re-training him in some areas). Throughout the daycare days, they both send updates to me to show me what Albie is up to during the day which always brings a smile to my face. Ultimately, they love the animals they care for like their own and - through the good and the bad times - make sure the animals have everything that the need. I could not recommend Tails of the City enough! 5 Stars. Top marks. 10/10. (Thanks for being such great carers of my little one)

We absolutely love everything about Team Tails! Ken and Gary have been looking after our older dog Ginger for 2.5 years now, and their newer team member Megan has recently dog-sat twice as well. All three of them are fantastic people that we (humans) totally trust while we're away, and our dog thinks they're the greatest, too. I don't think you'll find a more professional, communicative, and loving team in Amsterdam to take care of your animals. Just make sure to book them in advance because they're quite popular. Initially, Ken & Gary helped me with my 2 kitties when I was traveling. I have had friends stay with my cats and the kitties seemed more demanding and needy than after a week with Team Tails. I knew my cats were well cared for, played with and loved from how they responded when I returned. Since I adopted my rescue pup from Serbia, Team Tails has been my saving grace! From urgently taking care of my boy for two weeks when I had a family emergency to helping him grow into a confident, playful, dog-friendly pup at doggy daycare, Team Tails has been loyal, attentive, dependable, kind and generous.

Tails of the City are among the best dog walking and sitting service I’ve ever used. Gary and Ken treated our Harvey like he was their own - including helping us rehab him from a serious injury. When we travelled, we never worried about Harvey - we knew he was in the best care possible and we appreciated the regular updates both during his weekly walks as well as when we went away. I can’t recommend them enough and our only regret about moving to the next town over is that we couldn’t take them with us. We’ve had a really awesome experience with the Tails team. Our dog is still young and Ken, his primary caretaker has been so amazing at helping us be consistent on training and what behaviors we want him to practice. Ken has really taken the time to get to know our dog, and to set him up for success by gradually and thoughtfully introducing him to the other members of his pack walks. Our dog is so happy every time Ken is around, and we feel relaxed knowing he’s in good hands during our work day! Thanks a lot team Tails!

I love Team Tails! We've been clients of theirs since we moved here in October of last year. Wally is absolutely in love with Ken & Gary (and before, Shannon as well). I know how much Wally enjoys getting walked by them because he never looks back when he has to leave and he always comes home happy. We always get beautiful photos and updates when he's with them and I know that they love Wally too. <3

Yvonne is the most fantastic dog sitter. She is reliable, friendly, flexible, trustworthy and has gone above and beyond to care for our dog Rosie when we are away. Rosie gets super excited when we drop her off. It is so wonderful to go on holiday and have such peace of mind knowing she is so well looked after and has lots of fun on her walks. Paw House has walked my dog for four years now, Yvonne were there for me the day i adopted my dog. My dog was a rescue and nervous at first but Yvonne at Paw House is a true professional, always does the right thing, kind and reliable. Me and my dog could never be without her. The Paw House Amsterdam has been Buddy’s second house for the last five years. Yvonne takes very good care of him, she is very responsible and reliable, regularly sends us updates and pictures. There was a situation when Buddy didn’t feel well. She took him to the vet and administered medicine. We are very happy with Yvonne’s services and fully recommend her.

Paw House Amsterdam is the best and our dog, Lulu, is madly in love with Yvonne! We have used Paw House Amsterdam for overnight boarding and dog walks, both of which have helped Lulu gain confidence and social skills. I always know Lulu will be loved and well cared for when she is with Yvonne and I never have to worry about her when I'm on holiday. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing The Paw House Amsterdam is. I use to only travel if my little pup could come with me or if my brother could watch him, until I met Yvonne! She treats my fur baby like her own and I always leave without a single worry and can enjoy my trip. Not only is she wonderful with my dog, but she is also so easy to work with and extremely accommodating with dates, times, last minute spots as well as with my little pup. Bentley has stayed with Yvonne numerous times over the past several years - for doggy daycare, weekend stays, and up to 2 weeks. I completely trust Yvonne to care for my pup. She sends pictures and stays in good contact and my dog is always happy to see her. One time while I was away for a long stay, my dog had an ear infection. Yvonne took Bentley to the vet, gave him medicine, and continued to care for him until I came home. When the opportunity arises, I never hesitate to recommend The Paw House!

We left our dog for almost 2 weeks, all seemed ok by the photos, since he seemed to have regular walks on the forest (though we ask Pedro to not make him exercise so much for 8mc puppy extensive walking every day and playing later with dogs is just too much) . When arriving late evening during winter (January) we noticed our dog was outside with another dog without supervision, while other dogs were inside with Pedro and his wife, so we do not know If this was a regular thing and if he was more left outside during this wintertime for an extended period of time without even dog cover we provided (we did not receive single photo when dog had it during walks) In the beginning, we were concerned since we noticed one of the dogs was very aggressive to him. When getting the dog, he seemed very scared and confused of human contact (he run into the bushes when he spotted people, we need to wait for him to recognize us, then he come out ). When arriving home, we noticed he was not calm. He was coughing a lot and we noticed he had a lot of marks (scars) and still one wound in one of the legs, we cannot tell if this was in the forest/woods walks or any other reason, but was very concerning to see the dog like this. The next day we took to the vet and he confirmed that the dog had “Kennel cough”, a bad eye infection and wounds in this number do not look normal for him. Additional terrible contact with sitter after picking up the dog. Very rude person with lack of control of himself.

that was probably one of the worst times of his life. We pick him up super sad, scared & cold (I was hugging him at home and for almost 50min he was constantly shivering). He has a lot of small scars all over the body and what worse he had a very intensive cough. He scared us so much that first thing in the morning we took him to the vet. For these few days he is again with us he is getting better but he is afraid of people still.

Owner always think is all best from his side and he is always right. If something is not going as he wants he has very bad contact with a client.

Super nice people. We took great care of Boncuk (10-month-old Golden Retriever) during my stay in the hospital. Even had to sleep upstairs on their bed.....because he panicked downstairs.... Absolutely recommended!!

Great care, the dogs receive personal attention and are in a homely, pleasant environment. They also take an extended walk of 2 hours, to the beach or to the forest. Very satisfied and definitely recommended!

We are delighted to have found Delusional Dogs! Our rather anxious rescue absolutely loved staying with Chris for 3 weeks while we were away on holiday. We received great video updates daily showing her having an absolute blast on her daily adventures to the lake and playing with all the other dogs in the house. It's the first time we've been confident that our dog was happy while being looked after by a pet sitter. 10/10 would recommend.

We have been using Chris's services for about a year. He is great with dogs and our dog (Cody) loves going to stay with Chris. Chris is an excellent trainer as well. Every time Cody comes back from staying with Chris, he's learned some new trick or positive behavior.

What can I say about Chris and Delusional Dogs. Actually it's more about what our dog says (dog speak) and does when he knows it's time to go to Chris! He loves his play days when he spends the day with Chris and his other charges. And at the end of the day he is completely zonked out. What more can you want. Chris has also looked after our dog overnight on a couple of occasions and the photos show what a fun time he has. Chris has helped him be a better dog as well.Seeing Chris with his new mode of transport makes him a very unique sight around town! So all good and thoroughly recommended.

Chris is experienced trainer/sitter, took good care of our doggie, which is true relief during our away period. Our doggie was happy and became more social with other dogs. Chris also waived some extra charge, definately will come back when going out next time.

I went on a trip from Miami to Amsterdam with my dog Rocky. While staying in Amsterdam Maria took care of my dog whenever I needed some help, she always kept me informed about him with pictures and messages, that allowed me to get to know and enjoy the city. Rocky and me love Maria and would use her services again! Highly recommended!

It was amazing experience leaving our dog with Maria. She updated us with all the necessary information everyday like if dog ate, slept well, played. Also, she shared a lot of photos which was very nice! All in all, we were very calm during our holidays and it was definitely holidays without any worries.

Paddy stayed at Mama's Pet Club for 4 nights just before Christmas and we are so happy with the care he received. Paddy had done a couple of test days beforehand and when we were leaving him he ran in to Mari & Maurits apartment with a wagging tail, barely looking back at us. We were provided with detailed daily updates about what Paddy was up to during the day & how he slept. We also got lots of photos which really put our mind at east & helped us to enjoy our time at home. It's clear Mari & Maurits love pets and Paddy had a blast (he even made a BFF with on of the other doggies which was so cute!). We highly recommend Mamas Pet Club and will use their services again.

Harley had a great time at mama’s petclub. He went for a lot of walks, and played with other dogs who were there all day. He also had time to sleep. I’m super happy having found mamas pet club as it’s close to my work, but most importantly because I felt at ease leaving my baby here. They take very good care, make sure they know everything your dog might need on a day. Maria provided lots of updates and sent many photos and videos as well. What more can a dog mom want?! I am extremely happy with the care Maria T and Mauritz have provided to Bruno. They've been caring for him since he was almost four months old, and their patience and attentiveness have given me the peace of mind I needed whenever I had to leave. It's such a joy to see how excited Bruno gets when we're approaching their place—he can’t wait to see Puma again! They are always flexible, and I really appreciate the regular updates they send. Mari & Maurits were fantastic hosts for our dog Copper while we visited some tourist sites that weren’t dog friendly in the area. They are lovely and she had a great time. I would highly recommend if you want your pet cared for at any time.
