We love, love, love Delmarva Pet Resort!!! We brought our 2 large dogs (husky and maremma) for an extended stay. From the time we arrived, the staff was extremely helpful and clearly knowledgeable. We reviewed medications and generalizations. When we picked them up today, they were both in excellent shape both physically and emotionally. Neither showed signs of anxiety. They were bathed and looked amazing! Thank you so very much for your excellent and above and beyond care of our dogs! They make it easier to go away on trips and take away the worry😊😊😊

Holly does such a great job with our dog while we are away. He struggles at the kennel but with Holly, he is very happy and content. Holly comes over multiple times a day to walk our dog, feed him and get him outside. She sends updates and photos during her time with our lab. She is reliable, friendly and has been great for our dog! We’re so happy to have her services as he really didn’t do well in the kennel each time we went away. It’s a lot to come over multiple times a day but Holly does it easily and takes such good care of our dog!

Holly was so wonderful with my little Gigi. She came over for a meet and greet prior to watching her and I just could tell how much she loves dogs. She sent me texts while we were out and made me feel so good about leaving Gigi with her. I highly recommend Holly when you need someone who you know you can trust with your dog and I will definitely be having her care for Gigi again when we are back in Dewey!

Gravel Hill Pet Wagon is very clean and very secure. My husband and I are very pleased with Paul and his staff. I am so glad I found this place because I will not take my dog to any other boarding place from now on. We had to go out of town and the whole time we were gone. Paul was sending pictures of our dog and Paul treats the dogs like they are his family. When we show up at the Gravel Hill Pet Wagon, our dog is happy to see Paul.

This is the best place I have ever used to keep my precious dog. Paul is kind, reliable, and flexible. My dog loves it there, he starts to get excited when we pull up the drive way. Pet Wagon is clean and the surrounding property is simply beautiful. I have used Paul's services many, many times and when I pick my dog up he is happy and I can tell he is well taken care of. To my delight the last time I picked him up Paul had given him a bath and blow dry at no charge!! I have no complaints whatsoever, I will continue to bring my dog there as long as possible. His assistant Kyle is wonderful too he pays special attention to my dog and my dog loves him and Paul. Another thing, Paul is very responsive, no matter how busy he is he always gets right back to my inquiry. I'm so happy to have found a place that I feel comfortable and secure leaving my little doggie.

I knew Gravel Hill Pet Wagon was great, but when Stella wanted to remain with Paul at pick up time after her most recent stay, I realized we had found the perfect place to board her. Paul is caring, communicative, flexible and professional. Pet Wagon rates are reasonable while Paul moved mountains to give my doggo an excellent experience while away from home. Paul texts during the kennel stays to keep us posted and is open every day of the week. He is an excellent groomer and Stella loved her bath. Now, I just need to get Stella off his porch and into my car! 💖🐶

Paul has an obvious love for dogs and my dog loves going there. I won't bring my dog to anyone else.

My husband and I are new to Delaware and had to find a place for our dogs while we went on vacation. On one of our adventures, we passed Gravel Hill Pet Wagon and I put the name down in my phone to inquire when we got home since we had an upcoming trip and didn't know what to do with our pets. I spoke to Paul who gave me the run down on his operation and I was impressed just speaking to him on the phone. We dropped our dogs off at a place that was clean, inviting and we felt confident as we left them for our trip. Upon our arrival tonight, our pets were freshened up, packed up and very happy!!! We have taken our dogs to many kennels over the years. We have never been as comfortable leaving our dog as we have with Gravel Hill Pet Wagon. Paul does a wonderful job! He keeps you informed with texts and pictures of your pet while you are away. We couldn’t be more pleased!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the care our 12 year old American Eskimo dog Rudy received during a one day/night stay. Rudy was happy and well rested when he returned home which showed us that he easily settled in and felt secure there. Paul, Tory and Kyle made us feel confident that he was in excellent hands during his stay. This was after we had explained that his behavior could be challenging since he had been a rescue from what likely was a terrible situation years ago. We feel so fortunate to have found Paul and his wonderful staff.

We had our pitbull Nova stay with them while my husband and I went up to Ny for a wedding. This was our first time being away from her since we adopted her and I was a mess to say the least. GravelHill was amazing with taking care of my baby. Paul continued to send me updates the entire time I was away and I knew she was in good hands. We picked her up this morning and she was happy and well rested. I cannot thank Paul and his team enough! Nova will be back every time my husband and I go away and any dogs we have in the future as well! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Paul and Kyle were great to work with! It is hard for us to leave our dogs, but we knew they were in good hands. They are easy to get in touch with, even sent photos of our dogs. The property is secure and the kennels have been clean every time we dropped them off. Bonus-our dogs smelled good when we picked them up AND they shampooed our dog beds we brought. Would recommend them to anyone.

We just recently left our 2 1/2 yr old Golden Retriever with Happy Tails for a week & had nothing but the best experience! They truly care for each & every pet that comes through those doors & we felt confident leaving him there. Nichole was even so kind to send us photos of our dog almost everyday as it was our first time leaving him & we were missing him a bunch (lol). As new clients, I HIGHLY recommend them!! I also want to note that the retreat itself seems so home-y & not like a typical kennel. There were no bad smells, it actually smelled so good & clean! Thanks happy tails!

I’ve been using Happy Tails for well over a decade and have found the facility to be TOP NOTCH. The owner, Nichole, is so personable and is so loving with the animals in her care. The attention to cleanliness and detail make this place the luxury hotel of pet kennels, for sure!

Very clean and beautiful facility! Happy Tails has such a happy and loving energy and I could tell that the workers have a true passion for the pups. I trust them whole heartedly with my fur babies and I would never take them anywhere else!

Excellent kennel!! We feel very comfortable leaving our 2 dogs with Nicole and her crew. The kennel is always clean and welcoming and the staff is friendly and caring. There is plenty of room for our 2, 60lbs girls in their private room and they have 2 big fenced in play areas also!

Our dogs have been staying at Happy Tails for 8+ years and I'm so happy to have found Nicole & staff. I know that our dogs are well cared for every time they stay there. They get so excited when we pull into Happy Tails retreat.

It is always spotlessly clean, Nichole and her staff are wonderful! They connect with you and your pet and you are instantly comfortable leaving your pet with them. We use Happy Tails exclusively when we need to board our pups because they are absolutely the BEST (and we know from experience how bad bad can be). Nichole and her staff are very caring, and they keep the place in tip-top shape. If I could give them more stars I would!

So far so good. We contracted for Oct 2-8 because I need to be out of town. In order to qualify Buddy and Ellie, my 15 year old Westie and 14 year old poodle mix had to visit for the day. They say they had to come in for the day in advance of my trip to make sure they fit with their program. They did and so they are going to be guests of Eastern Shore. In the short time I was there my impression was of a quiet, clean resort, well run and adequately staffed but underutilized. There were few dogs there that I could detect. This might be due to it being off season and very likely is better for Ellie and Buddy who are used to a very quiet sedate life. They returned to me in great shape and happy without the normal frantic display when I've left them alone for a bit. The rooms that I could see were large and adequate for two little small pups so they need not be separated. It will never be easy to leave them anywhere regardless how good but I feel confidant I can leave them with Eastern Shore. I'll update after the trip.

The best place! The staff is so loving and caring towards my pups. I book them in the VIP suites and love that I can check on them at anytime in their suite or playing in the play yard!

Our 55 pound golden doodle LOVES his weekly 1/2 day at Eastern Shore Pet Resort and we are very comfortable boarding him there when the need arises. The staff is very professional and good with the dogs… and the facility is clean and well- maintained. Recommend!

It's a nice place, but I would never do business with them. Yes, some of the volunteers are great as well But the manager was really rude and just downright unpleasant.. we were going to adopt a dog, but I wasn't going to allow that lady to just be very disrespectful, especially in front of my kids!! Then this lady ended up handing a tiny puppy to a person who was bragging about that it's the perfect chew toy for my dog.. I honestly don't think she cares and definitely does not have the best interest in the animals' welfare.. im a farmer on over 56 acres and when we decided to add an additional to our crew she kept saying the dog better be indoors all the time and on a leash if out side I told her that's not how we ran things and we know how to handle our animals. We ended up going to a breeder instead of getting the older dog that was there for a while. It was sad because I was really looking forward to having him!! He was such a sweetheart and loved my kids too..

Cooper loved spending time there while we were on vacation. We had a chance to see him on the webcam, and he was running around playing with other dogs. I am sure Cooper will be spending more time at the Pet Restort when we are out of town!

Great place I boarder my dog there several times. Love that there is a full bed with pillow for dog. Room is spacious. There is also a camera you can log into anytime while your pet is there. The camera is in the room also in the playtime areas. They can also wash your pet while visiting. There is a vet on staff too. Only downfall is at approximately 7pm they close shop and the pets are left by themselves overnight in there rooms. They also have a doggy daycare too. I do recommend this place.

i definitely wouldn’t recommend taking your dog or cat there!! i recently was planning on taking my dog there for me and my husband to go away on a vacation. until i had found out that the manager was very rude and disrespectful to a friend of mine. i also found out that they are very unsanitary when it comes to cleaning up after the dogs inside and outside especially with the dog dishes…as well as the staff do not stay overnight with the animals. the last person that is with the dogs leaves around 6 pm which leaves the dogs to have no choice but to use the bathroom in their rooms until someone comes in the next morning. i didn’t take the reviews i’ve read seriously until i had seen and heard from a dear friend of mine what actually happens in the eastern shore pet resort facility.

The boarding facility is well-maintained, spacious, and very clean and comfortable for my 2 Papillon fur babies…I love to watch them enjoying Animal Planet on their television and chewing on their favorite treats. I bring their own food and treats and watch them play every chance I get! The staff are always so good to my Lola & Kiki.. I feel bad leaving them but I know they will be well taken care of👍☺️❤️

Very disappointed. More senior staff had evaluated our rescue and said he was good for boarding. They even referred to him as “More of a people dog”. So we left him for 1 night. However, Got the feeling after frequently checking the cameras that he had not been taken out on his 3 VIP walks to relieve himself and then would not respond the next morning with younger, ill-trained staff that apparently don’t understand dogs. He hadn’t eaten or drank anything in 24 hours. Was anxious to get out and drank an entire bowl immediately. He was very stressed at this facility - especially with the less experienced handlers.

I was taking my dog there for daycare for about 1 year and then the management changed. I am very disappointed in this place; recommended to a friend and his dog got very ill from dehydration and a virus from unclean dishes according to the Vet. Very last time I took my boy there, the woman that manages the place decided to post a sign on the counter that they were closing at 2PM; no notice, no email prior to my reservation, nothing. Had I not noticed the sign, I would not have been able to pick him up; they would have kept him overnight. No one is there after they all go home which forces the animals to mess in their boarding room. What if there is a fire?

She was excellent. We have 2 senior dogs and she was great with them She played - she walked them - she loved them ❤️ Will not hesitate to use her again - again and again

Sometimes I think my pups are more happy to see her than me. If your looking for a dog walker or pet sitter don't hesitate to call her. You won't be disappointed. She is a true professional and animal lover, who will treat your pets as her own!

We’ve been using Westwind kennel for 11 or 12 years! Jeannie is awesome and is always accommodating and helpful. We always feel the dogs are safe and secure! No possibility of escape! And always well cared for. Clean and big space, indoor and outdoor space and a/c in summer.

Jeanne does have reasonable prices and the kennel seems clean. The owner is not friendly and every time we visited no one was watching the animals although she lives on the property. It made us wonder how much time was actually spent with our dog. Jeanne needs some customer service skills she is not a warm person at all! Price is not everything so we will be taking our dog somewhere else!

Our dog, Leah, always comes back cheerful and well cared for after staying at West Wind Kennel. Jeannie is awesome! We won’t go anywhere else.

The owner is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. She hung up on me twice and decided to ask personal questions to my daughter and then told me it was none of her business. I would never deal with such an unprofessional person ever!! If she is this unprofessional who knows what she is doing when no one is watching her.

I have been boarding my animals here for years. I have never once had a problem or issue. They care for your dogs and have been nothing but kind to me. Prices are very reasonable and their kennels are always clean. I am not sure what the expectations of other people are but I have been VERY happy with their services.

Great place for your dog to stay when your away. Clean and safe kennels; caring, experienced staff - a great combination when I need to leave my dogs in someone else's care.

I will tell you that Mike and Jeanne are fantastic. They have always welcomed me with open arms, gone out of there way to make me happy, and pride themselves on a clean and well run boarding facility. Mike is a world class dog trainer and I have learned more from him in the 2 years we have been working together than you could ever learn from a book. I am amazed about how good at it he is. Great work guys! Highly recommend it!

We intended to drop our two Labrador Retrievers off today at this kennel, but after meeting and interacting with the owner, refused to leave our dogs here, ever come back, or ever recommend this place to anyone. Ms. Reed, the owner booked our reservation weeks ago, and after our explanation that our dogs were still puppies and rowdy, told us that was fine and that “I guess I’ll have my hands full”. Upon arrival, our dogs were pulling away from the kennel, as this is their first time staying any place but our home overnight. After expressing her disgust at our dogs, she became even more rude, explaining that Christmas was “her time” and that she “shouldn’t have to deal with this”. This, from the owner of a dog kennel who booked the reservation for the 23rd of DEC through Christmas. She also complained that we did not tell her the dogs were rowdy (we did twice – they’re both less than 8 months old). After getting the impression that she not only doesn’t enjoy dogs, but that ours were not welcome or safe in her care, we left. I do not recommend anyone trust their dogs to someone as rude, or someone who obviously has no idea how puppies act. We will post this review anywhere that will accept it.

I had a great experience with Julie, who took care of my small flock of chickens and ducks while I was out of town for the holidays. She came out twice a day to care for my flock, and went above and beyond to solve a couple of problems with ease. I would not hesitate to recommend Julie and plan to work with her again in the future!

Julie’s Pack Pet Service came by for the first time to let our dogs out and to provide some play and exercise and a potty break yesterday. They seemed so relaxed and non stressed when we arrived home. We are now liberated to go on all day trips or more now that we have found Julie and her service. We will certainly use the Pack again and again.

I had to find a new pet sitter on short notice because no meet and greet was set up for my pets and my text message for a reminder to set one up went unanswered. The communication could greatly improve, very disappointing.

The sitter came for one day only, as arranged. Pictures were taken of my cat and texted to me and the litter box was cleaned. However, there was very little water left in the cats fountain. Not only was there little water for the cat, but also, the fountain motor could have burned up and possibly caused a fire. I called the owner, who did not return my phone call for 2-3 days. When I explained what happened, she she said that she would look into and get back to me. She never called me back. That's it for me with Pet Pack Services.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with The Pet Pack! Julie and Dawn are absolutely amazing with animals! If you love your pet and I'm looking for a top notch place to send them, look no further! You won't be disappointed.

We dropped our 2 Boston Terriers for a few days of boarding and doggie day care. It’s a great faculty. The dogs had an outdoor run. The people are really nice and friendly. The reservation process was easy. The dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up. I would definitely use them again.

I’ve tried many boarding places and my local one recently closed down and i needed a place last minute for my pup. these guys were recommended to me and im so glad they were because we really had the best experience. super kind staff and they took great care of my boy, even gave him frozen kongs and let him play in the pool. When i went to pick him up he didn’t even want to leave. definitely a great place for your fur babies with people that really care.

Our doggos were well taken care of by the nice folks at Farmhouse Pet Lodge. We’ll definitely be back. It was like a stay at camp for them & they came back smelling fresh & clean after getting a bath before pickup. Thanks!

We have a new rescue and it was her first time at a groomer so she was obviously a little nervous. Brittany and the staff were amazing. They made our girl feel safe and treated her like the VIP she thinks she is. Brittany did a wonderful job cleaning up her face and giving her a cut that will allow her uneven coat to grow back in style. Their facilities are really nice to boot!

We had a great experience with Farmhouse Pet Lodge and we look forward to returning. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is very clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is the CLEANEST facility I have ever been to. Staff was so nice and super patient with my shy 100+ pound pup. My pup came home happy and clean. It's obvious that they love their job and all of the animals there. Highly recommend!
