Mary was fantastic from start to finish and looked after our elderly dog with love and attention to her needs. She also looked after our home with respect and care. We couldn't have asked for a nicer sitter and would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.
Amanda was the perfect housesitter and pet sitter for our cat. She is organized and communicative, and took care to ensure she understood the guidelines for taking care of our home and our cat. She left our house in perfect condition and we returned home to one happy kitty! Would not hesitate to have Amanda housesit for us again or recommend her to others looking for a sitter.
Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.
Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.
Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
Erin was a great pet sitter who took such good care of little Chino. She was very reliable, kept us up to date with videos/pictures, looked after our home and kept it neat and tidy. She even left a thoughtful gift upon our return and was flexible with our travel plans. We would definitely recommend Erin for anyone looking for a reliable and friendly pet sitter!
Elaine was a welcomed sitter for Cyrus and Purrelli. I returned from holiday to find a very content relaxed dog and a happy fat cat. Purrelli doesn’t eat when he is stressed so seeing a little meat on him let me know he was content and happy :) My condo was left clean and in order, all communications were smooth and there was zero issues. Thx for the great pet care Elaine.
Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!
Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!

Ellie, Mykalla and all other staff are awesome at this place. My dog is super excited to go here. This place gives you a report card every day. They have both indoor and outdoor areas. They are open all days of the week even on holidays and someone stays overnight at the facility to take care of boarders. They donot nickle dime you for everything. I would recommend this place in a heart beat to everyone.
Our lab came home with multiple lumps on his head & bald spots on his face. Along with that he had ear mites (never had them before) and a change in personality. A happy young dog is now very quiet and subdued. He also got kennel cough & now our second dog has it too. Called them and they wouldn’t take responsibility or accountability for anything. Spare your dog, don’t go there.
My shy rescue dog stayed for a few nights of boarding. He does not do well with other dogs, so he did not do playgroup but instead got to socialize only with staff. They described him as a total snuggle bug who was willing to get belly rubs even though he is still shy! Even when we got there and he was 100% shy dog, the staff was very patient and went at his pace, not theirs! This happy boy had a blast, even if his idea of fun (snuggling with humans) isn’t what a typical young dog calls fun!
Pete and Mac's is a great place for your dog. Our dog has been going here since he was a puppy and loves it, when we bring him for a day. The report cards are cool to show how your dog was. Our dog is always taken care of and safe when we leave him there.
I was able to board my dog last minute & we returned a day later than anticipated. Pete & Mac’s was friendly & accommodating. Pricing was reasonable. Very impressed with the options offered for boarding. Definitely recommend.
I've used Pete and Macs in both locations. They have given the pups great attention and I'm very happy with them. I have also used them for day boarding and grooming. They are worth the money. Axyl Campbell and Ty 🫶🏼 …
The last time we boarded our furbabies was the fall of 2022 for 3 nights, and we had 4 babies. No problems. (We lost 2 this spring.) We boarded our 2 three year old poodle mix for 3 nights, and we picked them up this morning. Their paws were YELLOW! AND THEY HAVE A HORRIBLE ODOR! We had to bathe them before we could loose our babies in the house. Plus their card system was down! Not a good way to keep business!
I have been taking my dog maple here since she was old enough. I have always had the best experience. The staff is very professional and welcoming. She is so joyful and caring towards my dog. My whole family brings our dogs here regularly and have been immensely pleased with the service. Allie has been so helpful with the animals. She is always so pleasant, and she greets everyone when they enter. I know she truly cares for all the animals. She always knows how to dogs days were and she is so nice. Allie has the best heart and interest in the animals. It is so nice knowing that while I am working my dog is in very good hands. Everyone there has been amazing. They are always on top of their records and makes sure every animal is vaccinated, which is nice to know. When it was coming up on my dogs revaccination time, they asked me about a month in advance so that I can have time to get them before the time was up. I truly appreciate all the care they have for my dog.
I love bringing my dog in to get groomed at Pete and Macs! Tori the groomer is so amazing and professional. Very accommodating to any requests I make and will go above and beyond every time! My pup also comes home with the cutest bandanas and smelling amazing which lasts for days! Highly recommend their grooming services.
My dog came back injured and Shelly the manager did not say sorry or anything. She insists that our pet was not around any other animals even though we paid extra for it. This place either abuses animals or does not actually separate the pets. We will never come here again, we have been coming here for a couple of years now.
Paw Commons Gilbert was recommended to us by a co-worker who raved about how happy their pup was here and how amazing the staff was and I am happy to say we've had the best experience taking our puppy here! They offer a wonderful package that included training sessions, daycare (which was hugely helpful over the hot summer while she had a ton of puppy energy), and even a puppy spa day to get them comfortable, trained and socialized. The staff are so personable, they know dogs and people by name, and Allison is an amazing trainer! She was able to answer all of our questions and train us to help our puppy be confident and well behaved! We are huge fans!
My dog was involved in an incident, I was told. Apparently it was a scuffle that resulted in my dog pinning another dog down. That being said, the policy is that I am liable for the vet bill when the owner of the other dog went to the vet to get a couple shots, and a quick clean up of a couple bite marks. My dog had bite marks on her neck, her side, and her legs. Out of good faith, I paid the other bill, regardless of what I deemed an absurd explanation. No idea who caused what, but I wasn't happy with the explanation, nor the lack of recorded video documenting the situation. Prior to paying the vet bill, they charged me the other owner's vet bill, while I was on vacation. Immediately, I contacted them stating that it was not an authorized charge, and that the bill was between myself and the other owner, citing their own "policy" and the path to governmental intervention. They promptly refunded it. What I have witnessed is a somewhat aggressive worker yanking dogs, in my opinion. I also feel that they need more staff for the amount of dogs that are present. Oh, and you can't delete your account on their billing app that they use, nor can you remove your own credit card. Use them if you must. My dog is better off at another location without any issues.
The trainers at Paw Commons, Gilbert, have been extremely helpful in setting a foundation for our stubborn girl Fiona to get the steps she needs to became a better behaved pup. She trained with Allison and the team, and we have continued to work with her outside of camp. The training team went above and beyond to answer any questions we had and to work with us on commands. We’re working on behavior with our other dogs too. I don’t think I would have been able to get Fiona to listen without their help. We are still doing her follow ups and will also be putting our other puppy through training when he has all his shots. As long as you’re willing to listen, put in the work, and ask questions, this team will change your experience with your dog. Absolutely recommend! ***Adding on: Allison and Russell worked with our other puppy, Casper. He’s reactive to other dogs and at first had an issue with people too. Through their training, Casper can now walk in public and I’ve been able to take him to different stores without an issue. He doesn’t react to people, and his reactions to other dogs keeps improving. Absolutely recommend Paw Commons!
My pup absolutely loves this place! We've been coming for daycare for a little over a month now, and it has been a great experience. The staff are all super friendly and kind, and they always remember my dog's name when I drop him off or pick him up. They do a great job of keeping me in the loop when I pick him up if anything has happened, like him losing puppy teeth :) I also enjoy getting to watch my dog on the cameras while I'm at work! I can't recommend this place enough for daycare services. They are awesome!
Did the 4 week training service here for my timid dog, Cosmo! They helped her go from being scared and acting like she may attack any dog to being able to join group play and enjoying other dogs! They also helped her with many other mannerisms like jumping on people, going place, and more. Highly recommend! Russ was our main trainer, with Allison also helping out! Could not recommend them enough!!
The trainers here at Paw Commons are amazing! We worked mainly with Russell for our one on one sessions. Our brand new Golden Retriever puppy, Lone Starr, loved going to see Russ. He was very patient with us and listened to what our goals were with Lone Starr. He made sure that everything was explained along the way and even went into detail about what the training was designed to do. We took Lone Starr there for multiple doggy day care sessions and he was always excited to go and sometimes disappointed to leave! We recommend Russ to anyone who wishes to take their pups for classes. Thanks Russ for getting our pup trained up and graduating his first class there with you!
I highly recommend Paw Commons Resort- Gilbert! I took my 6 month old lab there for training. Violet was socially awkward and scared of everything. After meeting with Russell, I just knew this was the place for us and he did not disappoint! She is more confident and comfortable around new people, dogs and new surroundings. Every single person I interacted with was truly amazing. They have cameras to watch your pup in the yard and what a relief it was to see her daily while she was gone for 2 weeks. The pup sitters in the yard are able to watch what’s going on and read the dogs body language. I witnessed it with Violet. 2 other dogs were messing with her and she wasn’t into how rough they were being. The worker seen Violets body language and she was put in a different yard immediately. I can’t say enough good things about all of them especially Russell. His daily updates and pictures were reassuring and so lovely to get but mostly importantly he gave Violet what I could not. Proper training! 💗
We absolutely loved and continue to love our experience with Paw Commons, Gilbert. Our little maltipoo Logan, was an extremely anxious pup that struggled badly with separation anxiety. I reached out to Paw Commons and received a call back within 24 hours! They were extremely kind and informative and scheduled us in right away for a meet and greet. My husband and I were very apprehensive to even explore this kind of training for our little guy because of the length of time he’d be away. We met, Russell and he instantly put us at ease. He took his time and listened to what our wants, desires and needs were for Logan. With Russell’s recommendation we opted for the 4 week training program. We were so anxious and nervous to leave our fur baby for so long but Russell and the team really made the HUGE difference for us. Russell was and is Logans trainer. He kept us super informed with constant videos, photos and real time updates on our little guy. The doggy cams are also super helpful because as a dog owner I was interested in seeing the staffs daily interactions with the pups, needless to say all staff was kind and loving to all of the pups in the play yard. This really put us is at ease. The staff maintains the yard clean and loves on these pups by petting, holding and playing with them! I loved seeing that!! Russell even drove our little guy to the vet for one of his vaccines that he needed to get! He was so gracious and kind and updated us every step of the way there! I can not say enough great things! We received daily reports on how Logan’s training was going and what they were working on. Russell was always responsive and communicated effectively with us! At the end of the 4 weeks, we can confidently say that Logans anxious behaviors have diminished GREATLY! Russell was extremely kind and patient with our fur baby and spent quality time training him and it shows! Our little guy loves to play and be around other dogs now, listens actively to our commands, can self regulate his own anxious feelings and walks on his leash with little to no pulling! We continue training with Russell and it makes us so happy to see our little guy branch out and be so much less anxious! Thank you Russell for all your time and commitment you put into our little guy! Your heart and passion for these pups is apparent! Try it out!! Highly recommend Paw Commons in Gilbert. What an amazing investment for our little ones quality of life! Attached are some of the photos we received while our little guy was in “school”! He was so happy and thriving making so many doggy friends! It made my momma heart burst of happiness seeing our once shy and nervous little guy let loose and play! Logan will be returning for some fun daycare days because his bond with his trainer and staff is so precious and so evident to us! Thank you Paw Commons, especially Russell for everything you’ve done for our little Logan!
Paw Commons is a wonderful facility for dog daycare, boarding, training and grooming. My rescue pup started there when he was 5 months old. We started with their puppy private lesson training course. The trainer, Russ, was amazing! He worked with our whole family to make sure everyone knew the right commands and how to work with our puppy. Russ was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond answering questions for us as we are new dog owners. Our pup has also been going to full day daycare twice a week and is so excited in the morning when we arrive and he gets to run in and see his friends and play. All of the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. They all know the individual personalities of every dog in the place. I'm glad we found such an amazing daycare for our little pup! Thanks Paw Commons!
We brought our dog here for puppy school. We were looking for a place to help with his anxiousness and to learn basic commands. Allison, the other trainers, and the whole staff took great care of him. He’s been back for overnight boarding and daycare. I’m glad we found a place we feel comfortable leaving our pup.
ABC Dog Premier is our go to for all of our boarding and daycare needs. Margaret and her family are amazing. They truly love and spoil my Roxy as if she was their own. Roxy always comes home happy and exhausted from all the fun she's had. Margaret is very accommodating and flexible. We love all the pics she sends of our Roxy enjoying herself. It's a home away from home where I know she will be safe and well cared for. I highly recommend ABC Dog Premier for all your boarding and daycare needs.
My girl goes to visit Margaret & her family and ALWAYS is happy, healthy and well cared for while she has to be away from home - it’s just home away from home for her! I’m telling you, ABC is the place for your fur-baby if you must leave them behind. Call her … you won’t be disappointed!!!
Let’s start by saying Margaret has provided a fantastic service to my family! We got a second Frenchie 😳 thinking our Gus needed a friend to play with. Well after 12 weeks trying to potty train we got NOWHERE. Knowing Margaret and her expertise in this area, I reached out. Wowza what a difference! We can now enjoy our little guy without all the stress and frustration. Soooo many people give up on puppies or fully grown dogs because they don’t have the time, patience or knowledge to train them. Don’t give up! Send them to someone who has all the above skills and to boot, loves dogs 🐕 You can have that furry friend you want but never thought you could manage. I can’t say enough good things! All around wonderful experience.
Absolutely blown away with the care Devon gave our pups at their Olive location. That location caters to only small dogs currently and thats exactly what we needed for our shiba and pomsky. Devon took care of our pups for 4days while we had a family emergency. They constantly provided pictures and replied when we texted. They were also very open to our raw feeding and the extra steps necessary. 100% returning back when we need to go out of town and cannot bring the pups.
Margaret made leaving our dogs for the first time a great experience! We received numerous photos daily and you could tell they had they best time! Communication was great throughout the entire experience! Would absolutely recommend to everyone!
We had the pleasure boarding our dog at ABC Dog Premiere and it was a very professional, and pleasant experience! From beginning to end our dog was loved and cared for. Margaret was very easy to communicate with it, she provided daily updates of photos, videos & check ins just to let us know how our pup was doing! Her facility is nice, clean and very presentable. She is very friendly, and patient with your dog as she understands this may overwhelming/new environment. She works with your dog, giving them time and space to adjust. Vacation was very enjoyable knowing our pup was being well taken cared of. Thank you Margaret and ABC Dog Premiere Boarding!
You want your fur babies to feel like they never left home and are just going to their second home, this is the place. I’ve known Margaret since 2009 and you’ve never met a more educated dog lover on the planet. She used to care for my two large Akitas back in 2009 and to this day if I need help she is my go to! Don’t hesitate and call her if you need help with your dogs training, need a dog sitter short or long term, or just advice on how to handle anything dog related she will help you! She’s not only the best dog care giver, but has the most genuine heart of anyone I know!!! Not to mention she LOVES taking care of dogs with all her heart! Your baby will be spoiled and love this place! These are a few pics of our babies over the years she has cared for❤️
Margaret is the best furr babysitter for our dogs. She takes great cares of our dogs, and sends pictures daily. She gives us comfort so we can enjoy our vacation. She educate us on how dog’s behaves, help us understand our dogs behavior. She really understands and truly loves dogs. Our dogs are well fed, no injuries, they roam freely, she has a huge yard for them to run around. Very nice doggy beds. Her home is clean , doesn’t smells at all. She is a dog wisper. She gets a bunch of dogs sitting together and takes pictures. She is flexible with pick up and drop off. We love her! Margaret is family now. She is the best! She stole our hearts and our dogs. 2 of our dogs gets board when they come home. They have too much fun at Margaret. I highly recommend Margaret for your pupa sitting needs.
We love ABC Dog Premier! Margaret & her family take such good care of the pups! As a nurse, I love that she is flexible and accommodating with times and last minute drop offs. My boxer mix is 6 months old, and has been coming here 1-2 times per week since he was 11 weeks old. He gets so much socialization and play time & is always so excited to see his friends every time we pull up! Thank you ABC Dog Premier for being a home away from home for my Ollie! ❤️
We rescued 2 new dogs into our family in April 2023 knowing we had a big vacation planned in August of that year. There was so much anxiety about finding the right place for the dogs to stay - a home away from home - while we were out of the country. We feel so fortunate to have found Margaret and her family business "ABC Dog Premier Training, Photography & Rescue". The dogs didn't miss us at all - in fact they had an incredible vacation of their own! We are SO grateful for this amazing small business and our wonderful new friends, and we wouldn't take our pups anywhere else! Teddy Bear and Joker really love their 2nd home! 🥰💕🐾
For the past 4+ years our rescue organization has exclusively used Ricardo and his team at CharlieBar for all of our training needs. Ricardo has helped hundreds of our rescue dogs of all breeds and ages work past any and every issue you can think of at this point, from super fear dogs to incredibly impulsive to human and dog aggressive, and everything in between. At any given time, we always have at least one dog in board + train at his facility, and we have always been confident they are receiving the best training and care, many with additional medical needs as well. Beyond helping so many of our dogs, Ricardo has helped solve any and all issues for hundreds of our fosters and adopters, better equipping them with the knowledge and tools to properly work with [and ultimately keep] our dogs in their homes. We are constantly referring anyone looking for boarding or training to CharlieBar, and we constantly receive nothing but the best feedback on their experience, the care the dogs receive and the problems that Ricardo and his team are able to solve. If you’re seeking any training help for your dog, we highly recommend Ricardo at CharlieBar Dog Training.
I had the pleasure of adopting a dog that was not only trained by Ricardo but saved by him! I’ve never met a more friendly, goofy, and intelligent dog- watching how Ricardo trained him was amazing, you can tell just how much he loves what he does and the dogs he works with. So glad I’m able to take such an amazing dog and give it the best life I can (peep the pictures from his visit to Lake Powell). Thank you for not giving up on him!
For anyone who is on the fence about getting your dog trained professionally - Charlie Bar should be your first and only stop. We had our dog there for a two week training. When we dropped her off she was reactive to things that moved (birds, dogs, humans that weren’t her parents, etc.). She would go into full on bark mode when someone she wasn’t familiar with came over for dinner or if she saw something on a walk. She needed some help, and honestly we needed help as first time dog owners. After picking up our Nina from her training, she is a new dog. She is the epitome of what we hoped a dog would be in our life. She listens to commands, she no longer barks randomly at sounds or things. She is getting better training by us as her parents thanks to Charlie Bar. We paid the full price for the two weeks and honestly it’s a fraction of what the training was worth in our lives. Nina is a happier and smarter dog after her time there. She is the middle dog (mini-poodle) in the picture.
I have known Ricardo Paredes for over ten years. He has over the years worked on and off with our three dogs-Milo( now deceased), Zoe & Bella. I have had him train them in my home and I have sent them for board and train when I was away on vacation as well.Ricardo was awesome with all three dogs. He works very hard and truly understands as well as connects with them. I call him the Dog Whisperer. He not only trains them but does it in a fun active setting. I would marvel seeing him on his skateboard taking all 3 for a run to tire them out. He makes it fun for them so they enjoy their training sessions. He makes it a point to get them socialised in different public settings that would expand the dogs' quality of life, but is firm when he needs to be so that the dogs know that he is the Alpha Dog. I would highly recommend Ricardo. I have personally seen him train my dogs in my home and I have seen how hard he works and the determination he has to make a difference in our dogs' lives. My remaining dogs are now 15 & 11 and I am truly grateful for having met Ricardo many years ago. Zoe & Bella say thank you Ricardo!
Ricardo drove an hour to our home to work with our foster dog Millie. Unfortunately, Millie had been exhibiting reactive behavior towards other dogs on walks and we have two rescues of our own at home. Within five minutes, Millie was listening to his commands, walking correctly, and we introduced one of the dogs halfway through the session. He is knowledgeable, informative, created a safe space (for us and all of the dogs), and left us with the skills to keep practicing. Using him was a no brainer and we are currently eyeing his two week boarding and training sessions. Thank you for teaching us all the skills to assist in finding Millie her furever home!
Words can not describe how thankful I am to have been referred to Rick and his staff. We are a small new rescue that got a few dogs that were beyond our abilities to help. They have helped me with two dogs already and currently helping with two more. Im amazed at the changes that have happened in such a short time too. Thanks to them, sweet Cali below is doing amazing in her foster home thats looking like a forever home in the making😊
I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for Ricardo and the team at CharlieBar. Our poodle mix Ruffles was always the sweetest with us, but he had bad aggression with other people. We were always afraid to have people over because they couldn’t interact with him. We started taking him to a popular daycare/training facility hoping it would help, but Ruffles wouldn’t improve. We had him scheduled for boarding and before our trip the daycare had told us Ruffles was not allowed back. The owner told my wife and I that he was essentially untrainable and the only option was medication. We called a local vet who told us that re-homing him wasn’t an option, and that putting him down might the most humane thing to do. Out of desperation a few days before our trip we came across CharlieBar online, and noticed he had an opening for a 2 week board and train that started right before our trip. Due to the overwhelming positive reviews we contacted Ricardo and had him booked. To my shock, within a few days of dropping him off, we were sent videos of our dog LETTING STRANGERS PET HIM IN PUBLIC. We couldn’t believe that this was the same dog we were told a week ago we should probably put down. We kept getting more and more updates on his improvement. When we picked him up, Ricardo took his time and explained to us everything Ruffles had been taught and how to handle him around new people. He also took us to a public spot to show us him interacting with strangers. We were left with the tools we needed to pass on what he learned those 2 weeks into our home. From that day on, our dog has been a completely different dog. He walks great, when we tell him to “place” he immediately goes into his spot. Now when new people come over, within a few hours of introduction, he’s running around with them in the park. Fast forward to this week and we boarded Ruffles for over a week with CharlieBar and we were at ease knowing he’s with people who know what they are doing. We got daily updates and we can’t wait for Ruffles to board with them again! Please, if you are looking for an incredible dog training facility, stop looking and use CharlieBar. Worth every penny.
So thankful for the newly added grooming services offered at CharlieBar!!! Our Cattle mix has been turned away from other groomers because he shows kennel aggression with complete strangers and he refuses to let us bathe him. The groomer at CharlieBar was so helpful and worked so well with him! He didn't show any aggression during his bath, only when it came to trimming his nails but the groomer was patient and knew how to handle him. She also gave me several tips on how to attempt to bathe him myself next time, but I plan to keep taking him in since they were so quick and helpful. Not to mention the great pricing! We're so thankful and pleased, we felt like she performed a miracle! 😉
I have referred quite a few people to CharlieBar Dog Boarding and Training, simply. Because I have witnessed the way that Ricardo trains and treats dogs. Everyone has been so please at Ricardo's knowledge and abilities... He really is an amazing trainer... Don't believe any negative connotations because you and your dog will really miss out over what haters have to say. God doesn't like ugly, and he sees it all!
We had to use CharlieBar when one of our dogs was needing some guidance and manners. Not only were Ricardo and his staff so understanding and kind, they also had a lovely set up for the dogs while they are in training. They kept us updated with photos and videos and that made being away from our baby a lot easier. I did a lot of research before choosing to use them and i am happy this is who i picked. Hopefully *knock on wood*, I dont end up with more counter- surfing dogs that need Ricardo and his expertise. lol
Brought our pup here after doing a trial at another dog day care and it is night and day! The staff are all so friendly and I feel like they genuinely care about our baby. He never stinks when coming home and we absolutely love watching the doggy cam while he plays. We even got a report card after his first full day of day care, they really care about the little details in your dogs care. We are happy to be part of the family at north Gilbert dogtopia!
I love that I can drop my dog off before going to work at 7 am and pick her up at 8 pm! I love the staff! I love the different activities and snacks they provide! I love spa days! I love the cleanliness! I love the structure they provide! Dogtopia has been so good for my dog, she has learned to socialize and has improved confidence around other dogs, I can take her to the dog park and she will actually mingle with other dogs, rather than sitting on my lap! The only complaint I have is not discovering Dogtopia sooner!!
Enrolling my dog at dogtopia has been such a great decision! As a first time dog mom, I really wanted to set my new puppy up for success. She has had the best opportunities at socialization and routine here. I have noticed a huge difference and positive behavior in her since she has started attending daycare. I love seeing her excitement every time we get close to the building and know she is getting a ton of exercise and time with her new friends. The friendly employees just love the dogs and it shows. It makes me happy knowing she is having fun and we get an extra tired, cuddly pup when we bring her back home 🥰 thanks dogtopia!
I’ve had the best experience here. My dog LOVES it and gets so excited to come in and play! The employees are very knowledgeable in dog behavior and are so kind. ☺️
The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and understanding, especially the manager. The webcams were a huge plus but they get turned off during the dogs’ nap time, meanwhile the staff clean the floors. I like the transparency that the webcam gives so I didn’t like that they would ever be turned off while my dog was in their care. When I watched my dog and the others via the webcam, in my opinion they seem unenriched, either sleeping or pacing around the room and following the staff which Dogtopia call “coaches”. I personally didn’t see or hear of any coaching more complex than “sit” or “follow the leader” (leash walking). I don’t love how they have to eliminate indoors on a hard floor but I understand that outdoors and real grass is not so simple to have in AZ. I believe the staff when they said that the hard floor is the most sanitary since it’s the easiest to clean. To the credit of the staff, they are constantly cleaning the rooms and are quick to clean up messes. I found the games that they apparently played with the dogs a bit childish and only meant to soothe the dogs’ owners. For example, they said they play tic-tac-toe where they have the dogs sit in chalk-drawn squares. I don’t think the dogs know or care the slightest bit about tic-tac-toe. I also don’t believe they give any treats as incentives, so few dogs participate. Other day cares didn’t use crates, but I like Dogtopia’s use of crates when dogs need to nap or chill out, since this is what we do at home. My dog spent 4-5 days/week at this location for over a month but I ended up pulling him from day care mainly because of the cost which came out to about $6k/year. The main benefit I saw from day care was that he came home absolutely exhausted and slept the whole afternoon and night. I didn’t strongly feel that my dog was enjoying his time there, just that he didn’t sleep much during day care. I would still recommend trying this location if you can afford it to see if your dog is a good fit because of the quality of staff. I think it’s a safe place to leave your dog where they can be supervised, have exposure to other dogs, and come home exhausted.
North Gilbert Dogtopia has been such a great experience so far. The staff members are very friendly, I got a great tour during my initial visit, they know all dogs and customers by name and have a very clean facility. We especially like their curbside drop off & pick up option as we have a little one and it’s so easy to go directly from car to staff member and vice versa. The app is super easy to use and we love the fun theme days they do throughout each month!
Very informative and friendly staff!! My dog has only been going for a few days and she is excited to go and play with her new friends.
We loved the process and the facilities. The process of pet inspection on arrival and at the end of the day, air filtration at hospital level, sanitation at the facility, very good and useful as well as cameras, extended hours etc. There are few things which we wish were different- instead of subscription plan passes, location in eastmark, 24 hr onsite presence of staff for boarding animals. We also wish if they had also an outdoor play area.
Fantastic, safe, clean and fun place for my pup! All the staff are amazing and you can tell they genuinely LOVE all dogs big and small. If you are thinking about having your dog join their pack you will NOT be disappointed.
What I like about Dogtopia is that my dog, Ivy enjoys going there and gets really excited when she arrives. The staff there are really friendly and shows my dog love. They also kennel train her and leash train her.
This is Gibby and Mo's happy place! They are always so excited when we drop them off! The staff are always very friendly and welcoming to both of them. Our dogs are safe and well looked after. We are big fans!
Very easy experience. Seems like our dog has a blast when she goes and is happy to come home after. One thing I wish I got was pictures or a report card during or after the visit just to see her in action there. But overall, love the staff and the free range that they have there.
We really enjoy taking our dog here as the whole staff is really nice. I would say that I wish when we pay for agility/treats added to her time there that we would receive videos/pictures of proof as well as just seeing her in action . Whenever I ask how she was I expected some details on how she was during her stay. At least knowing if she really played with other dogs, or had a best friend to be around. But every time I ask I don’t get anything other than she did fine. I think it’s just nice to have some type of notes from the staff.
My sweet Chloe, my 10 year old Maltipoo, had a blast on her first day and met another pup named Steven. She had a blast and she was a completely different doggy when I brought her home. She was energized, hungry and thirsty. She just drank and drank and I had to feed her 2 dinners. I am THRILLED with Mesa Dogs. You have a forever client. Thank you for taking care of my baby!!
I can't express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care Mesa Dogs 24/7 provides for my furry friend. The staff is not only kind and friendly but also incredibly attentive to my dog's unique needs and traits. As a puppy parent, their extra care and watchful eye to ensure she's not overwhelmed or tired mean the world to me. They even go the extra mile to cater to her allergies, and I can see the genuine love they shower upon her. Their facility is top-notch, and everyone on their team is simply awesome! Mia and I have found our happy place, and we'll be bringing her here for a long time to come. Thank you, Mesa Dogs 24/7, for being such a fantastic home away from home for my beloved companion!" 🐾🌟🐕
The guys and girls that work are awesome. Harley, my 8 yr old wiener dog loves going there and seems to like everyone there. I would recommend Mesa Dog 24/7 to anyone that cares and loves their dog . You won't be disappointed.
Great place for a dog that is afraid of kennels!! They take great care of each dog. My boy likes them!
Melissa did a fantastic job grooming Daisy. She did exactly what we had discussed and Daisy looks great. It was my first time at Mesa Dogs 24/7 and i will definitely go back.
Great first 1/2 day experience. We liked the facility in Mesa a lot. Our dog Teddy misses his Iowa daycare & doggie friends so we feel this is a good option for him.
We boarded our bulldog Lulu for a weekend. She had a blast. Signed her up for one day a week for 10 weeks! Great place 😀 …
I was referred to Alyssa through a dachshund group and I’m so glad we found her. Alyssa did some training with our two boys and we also continuously board our boys with her. I can’t say enough good things about her. Her and her husband treat our boys like their own. She’s so patient with them and taught us how to be better parents for them. Alyssa has become a dear friend of mine throughout this process. She’s just someone you can trust and is a genuine human!
Alyssa is everything a dog owner hopes to find when sending their babies to a dog care. She is kind, patient, professional and truly cares for every animal she brings in. My puppy Kevin has been coming to daycare for 6 months and the drastic difference of his first day to now is amazing. He has so much confidence, makes friends and gets so excited when we pull up he can barely contain it. She sends photos and updates and has even sent home some very cute bandanas and birthday presents. Highly recommend Alyssa, as any dog she takes in is very lucky!
Rycroft’s Ruffhouse is exactly what we were looking for. We have tried many forms of dog care since we are frequent travelers, but nothing compares to Rycroft’s Ruffhouse. Alyssa has cared for our dog Aspyn for 2 extended stays while we have gone on vacation. Although the service is in home, it is legit! We love that she provides dog friendly activities and allows our dog to free roam (instead of in a crate). Alyssa is an excellent communicator and her system is easy to work with. We love receiving updates and pictures throughout our dogs stay. We really trust Alyssa with our dog and will continue to use her services in the future!
My Juniper LOVES going to “Auntie Alyssa’s” house! We get regular texts with photos throughout her stay so we know she is a safe and happy girl. Being able to trust someone with your pup is such a secure feeling. We know she is in the best hands.
Alyssa does such a great job with all of her puppies/dogs. Our puppy Suki had her first stay at Rycroft’s and she had such a great time. I was able to get updates of her playing, eating, and clearly having the time of her little life. We are so excited to have found Alyssa and Suki is already so excited to go back 🥰 …
10/10! I would recommend The Rycrofts Ruff House to anyone who needs daycare or boarding. My pup Farrah wasnt very socialized and we were concerned about how she’ll do with an extended stay but Alyssa was wonderful with tending to Farrahs needs to feel comfortable and actually play! Alyssa is trustworthy, honest, and genuine and overall the best person you’d want to care for your fur baby !!
Alyssa is the best dog sitter! Our golden retriever Maple always gets so excited to go spend time with all of her puppy friends! When we first got Maple, we tried the big boarding companies and I could not get comfortable with the care they were providing. I wanted a place where Maple could feel at home and where I could be stress free knowing she was in good hands. Alyssa feels like family and we cannot imagine bringing Maple anywhere else! We are loyal customers for almost 2 years now! Alyssa treats every dog as if they were her own and we never stress when we drop her off because we know she is in excellent hands! She always updates us throughout Maple’s stay and sends the most adorable photos. You can truly see the happiness in the face of every dog! They have splash pad days, arts and crafts days, and plenty of fun running around the yard living their best lives!
Alyssa takes fantastic care of our dog when he stays over and updates us with lots of pictures. He absolutely LOVES it and gets to play all day. Before using Rycroft's Ruff House, my wife and I had never boarded our Great Dane. We usually brought him on trips or had a friend stay at our house to watch him. We didn't like the idea of him being alone in a kennel for hours at a time in a boarding facility. When we learned that Alyssa watches dogs and lets them be part of her family by playing in the yard, hanging out in the living room, and avoiding confinement in kennels, we knew we had to try it. The first time dropping off our dog, we were nervous as he hadn't been away from us like this before. Alyssa put our minds at ease, updating us all day with pictures of him playing with friends, relaxing in her living room, and clearly having a blast. Any reservations we had completely vanished. I highly recommend Alyssa's services. Your dog will have a blast and feel right at home, just like ours does!
Our dog, Peanut, is an only child and can have only child syndrome and gets anxiety when she isn't with us. After staying with Alyssa and the dog gang, she turned into a different dog! She gets excited to go over and stay and even has friends there now. Alyssa is a great communicator when your dog is with her. Updates every day WITH pictures and is always very flexible and treats my dog like her own. There are not many people I trust with my little girl but Alyssa is one of them! **not to mention, she always gets the BEST photos of little peanut - see the pictures below from her!**
I don't know what we would do without Alyssa in our lives, we're so appreciative of her. She cares for Cooper and Scout like they're her own and they absolutely love her. Her doggy daycare seems more like a vacation for the pups with all of the play and interaction they get from all of their regular friends and even her own "kids". Regular "pupdates" with pictures and video are usually the highlight of our days. Seasonal activities like "water day" and celebrations for birthdays and holidays always mix it up and keep things interesting and engaging for them. For those that have used other doggy daycare or boarding - the dogs never come home needing a bath, she takes care of her place and it's always extremely well cared for. We'd normally have some hesitation about planning longer vacations or trips, but that all of that stress is out the window knowing that when we've boarded them with Alyssa, they're in great hands. Thank you Alyssa!!!
My 2 pups had a great time with Kathy! Leaving them at home instead of boarding was so much better for my dogs. Kathy took such great care of them; very reliable and trustworthy. My senior dog didn’t miss his pills, and my 7 month old puppy got lots of playtime with Kathy! We loved the daily photo updates too! Definitely recommend Pawsitively Reliable Pet Service and will call Kathy again when we’re out of town.
Pawsitively Reliable Pet Service saved the day! After another pet sitter didn’t work out and left my dog home alone and my key under the doormat while I was away, Kathy swooped in. She went to my home, gathered my puppy’s supplies, secured my home, and took her in for the remainder of my trip. When my dog started not feeling well, I received incredible communication, updates and reassurances. Pawsitively Reliable Pet Service is reliable, caring, trustworthy and has great communication, on top of being experienced on how to handle various situations. Our family feels incredibly lucky to have found Kathy.
I recently had the pleasure of hiring Kathy take care of my two dogs, one of which is a senior, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She was incredibly attentive, caring, and professional. Both of my dogs instantly took a liking to Kathy which put my mind at ease. Given my senior dog's age, Kathy was very understanding of his special needs and provided the extra care and attention required. She provided regular updates and photos, ensuring I knew my furry friends were in good hands. I highly recommend Kathy at Pawsitively reliable pet service to anyone in need of a reliable and loving dog sitter.
I reached out to Kathy to help us watch our 3 dogs last month for a 5 day trip. She was very prompt in responding and professional with requesting all the details for our dogs, including vet info and emergency contacts! She visited us twice before our trip to meet the dogs at our home and learn the routine. During our trip Kathy gave us routine status updates and kept any worries away. We felt truly at ease knowing that Kathy was was there and genuinely cared about our fur babies! Don't hesitate about reaching out to her! She's the real deal!
Kathy is a life saver! My husband and I travel often for work so Kathy has come to the rescue twice already and cannot be happier. We see how she interacts with our two cats and how patient and kind she is while we are away. She plays with them, gives them treats, cleans their boxes and even chats with them so they don’t feel alone. It certainly makes us feel at peace knowing they are in good hands. She sends us pictures of the furry ones and communicates with us in case of any issues. I highly recommend her services! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kathy is absolutely the best sitter my dog, Izzy, a 50 lb. Goldendoodle, has had! Izzy actually did not want to leave, and I almost had to drag her to the car! I know she got the best care possible and I have peace of mind when she stays with Kathy who is Pawsitively Reliable, caring and loving of pets in her care. I highly recommend Kathy!
Pawfectly, Compassionate and Reliable Pet Services in Gilbert - The Friendly Haven Of At Home Care for Your Furry Friends! Look no further for the best in home pet sitting service in Gilbert than Kathy at Pawsitively Reliable Pet Services. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing her extraordinary care firsthand, and I couldn't be more grateful. Kathy's compassion and understanding truly set her apart. When a family member, the pet's mom needed some time to take a break and continue grieving after the untimely loss of the feline pets, dad Pawson. Kathy stepped in as a friendly haven for their beloved cats, Bo and Snowball. She took on an unplanned extended pet care services for an additional three months, providing a safe and loving environment for them, with a positive attitude, even though this was a major diversion from the original pet care plan. Throughout this time, Kathy's love for and experience with animals shone brightly. She ensured that Bo and Snowball were a priority, and their space was always clean, cozy, and comfortable. Her dedication to their well-being was remarkable, and she showered them with affection and care day in and day out. Not only did Kathy excel in providing reliable pet sitting services, but she also went above and beyond during an urgent medical issue. She promptly took one of the cats to the vet and provided the prescribed care, putting the pet's health and well-being above all else. Her warm and creative style, along with her friendly tone and pet whisperer language proficiency, make her the perfect choice for anyone in need of exceptional care for their furry friends. Don't hesitate to entrust your pets to Kathy's care. She will not only provide them with the love and attention they deserve but also offer a much-needed respite for pet parents during challenging times. Five stars all the way for her compassion, reliability, and dedication! Truly a kindred compawnion spirit, a blessing and an angel. From a great lakes Mutt Mum and a several times over, pet spolier granny (a.k.a Sal et al's Nani).
We have used Kathy to watch our bunnies and home for a vacation in the past. Very particular in asking what we wanted and needed from her. Great care was given with updates. So great we used her again to pick up our mail, watch house, water plants, and make sure water system was kept running over a longer vacation stay. Love the business! Dave and Cheryl
Kathy is an exceptional pet sitter who combines professionalism with genuine care for animals. She totally nails all the little details. We were so lucky to find such a great pet sitter. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care.
We are so lucky to have found Kathy. It can be hard to find someone that is caring, friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable. Kathy is all of these and more! We trust Kathy with our fur baby (pug - Zeus) and know that he is in excellent care. Zeus looks forward to Kathy's visits always. We have used the services (many times) of : potty break, dog walking. We would 100% recommend Kathy.
