Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Amanda was the perfect housesitter and pet sitter for our cat. She is organized and communicative, and took care to ensure she understood the guidelines for taking care of our home and our cat. She left our house in perfect condition and we returned home to one happy kitty! Would not hesitate to have Amanda housesit for us again or recommend her to others looking for a sitter.
Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.
Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.
We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!
Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. K & C gave us pics & updates as requested, and we loved seeing our pets have such a good time with them! They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! They were communicative before the sit, during, and after. Kelly and Chris were the ideal sitters in every way. We’d welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to others. Thanks you two!
Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella. We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. We would be honored to have them sit again. On top of their great care they left us a thoughtful friendship gift. zeewoi continues to be the best site ever. Not only do we have great pet sitters for Cella, we also have the opportunity to meet great new friends. Thank you!!
Rachel was an excellent pet sitter for my cat. She was a good communicator and also kept my place very tidy. She even left me a gift of a bar of chocolate upon her departure! Highly recommend.
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

I hate to do this but it’s the experience we had. I’ve only used them a couple of times and had a weird vibe but I thought it was me being a protective dog owner. The last time we went, my very socialized dog, did not want to go in and was pulling me out the gate. What in the world?! He doesn’t even do that at the vet which he’s definitely not a fan of. I’ve never seen dogs playing outside or at the yard fence barking but I hear them barking non stop inside. The last time I went to pick my dog up, the owner was in his home and not in the dog building. I would think the dogs would need supervision at all times. Lastly, the owner used one of their leashes to bring my dog out and my dog freaked out when I tried to use it the next day. He pulled away and refused to let me put it on him to walk in our house. After this last time, I shared my experience with another dog owner friend whom I learned used them and experienced something similar and never went back. I’m trusting my gut and my dog’s reaction and will not be using them again. The price seems too good to be true.
Great people who take great care of your dogs. Their passion for animal care and friendly service shone through. And they care about you and your pet and not just as a customer. You would be hard pressed to find a better doggie day care.
Great family run business, our dog is very happy there. Great secluded location. Quiet. Gem of a place. They do not advertise much, it’s mostly word-of-mouth. So happy this is a hidden gem!
Brought our pup, Charlie, here for the first time, and he loved it there. He is a smaller pup, and this place truly catered to his needs. If your pup is smaller than most, more timid, more clingy to people, etc. they will do what needs to get done to make sure your pup is a comfortable as they can be. We will definitely be bringing our pup Charlie back when we go away again! Great place.
Great and affordable dog care in Ellicott city area. Dog likes the open field area and always returns happy
My dogs were happy and tired when I picked them up. Great experience and will definitely use their day care services for dogs again soon!
We just completed our first boarding of our frisky little pup. He has been a regular daycare student for over a year. If you want quality, safe, affordable, family style care for your dog this is the place. It took all the stress away while I was in the hospital a few days. Our pup is always happy to be dropped off at this doggy play palace. I would rate them a ten but I think five stars is the best. Keith M
Hands down the very best pet day care/boarding in the area. The staff quality beats any petsmart, vet, kennel, or other big dog camps in the area. Shaun is a dog whisperer who magically helps my dog feel at ease and comfortable. She is always happy and fit whenever I pick her up from the day care. My dog always seems so happy to have spent her days here.. This is a family owned, local business and I am so lucky to have the folks at Furry Friends Farm doing what they do. This place a hidden gem and I will leave my dog with them any time, any day!
Stacy and Shaun are always been flexible, responsive and helpful with us when we needed our dogs to be at the daycare. Having said that, the most We love about this daycare is that we don’t need to worry or rush to pick them up. They have late pick up hours for convenience. Thank you!
My dogs absolutely love coming here to this facility. And every single person that works here treats my dogs like family. They get so excited to get out of my truck to see everyone and play with the other dogs. I will never take my dogs anywhere else! This is the best facility I have ever been to.
My Great Pyrenees LOVES going here, and they are always excited to see her too which I love. We board her overnight while we are on vacation, and she always comes home clean from a bath and exhausted from playtime with other dogs. We would send her here more often if they provided pickup/drop-off, but as it is they are great for vacations. Five stars!!
Ziggy (currently 9m old) grew up at Happy Dog and we are so sad we no longer live 10 min away! Not only did he come home exhausted every time we brought him (sleeping most of the next day and saving our sanity), but the older dogs also taught Ziggy play etiquette and how to get along with dogs of all types and temperaments. (I also have the suspicion that they helped potty train him.) Plus, the staff are wonderful and you can see their love for the pups. Ziggy would not be the dog he is today without Happy Dog! We truly love and miss this place ❤️
Pictured here is our dog Dolly for the 48 hours after coming home from Happy Dog. Backstory: Our friends told us about this daycare/boarding location after we were lamenting the fact that places like PetSmart and other daycares and boarding services wouldn’t take Dolly because she has some American Staffordshire Terrier in her mix, or they would keep her in a room by herself the whole time. Happy Dog welcomed Dolly with open arms and I appreciate how they approach each dog individually to see how they interact with the pack. Dolly has learned a lot from the staff about how to play with her friends without getting too excited and rough. It’s clear all the dogs in their care are well-loved and cared for. Happy Dog really lives up to its name.
This is a great place for our 4 legged kids, my young boy is a big dog but gets anxious when he is away from us. The staff here understands his personality and takes care of him accordingly. We settled here after trying a few places in the neighborhood. They are all very friendly and always greet us with a smile.
I have been taking my dog there for about a month and he’s always excited to go every morning! The staff there treats him like he’s their own and he loves them. They do a wonderful job taking care of my pup
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A few months ago I rescued a dog that we later found it did not do well left alone while we were at work. Happy Dog Care are been a lifesaver! We use them 2-3 times a week and our beagle has been so happy! His behavior has improved, and he LOVES getting to see all of his dog and people friends there. The staff is wonderful and really gets to know all of the dogs. I love that they do picture days, celebrate dog's birthdays, and will give you plenty of updates about how your dog is doing. The only reason we are leaving is because we are moving across the country. Our new day care will have a very big shoes to fill!
100% recommend Happy Dog Care!! The staff loves my dog so much and it really shows. It's a great feeling to be able to leave your dog somewhere you completely trust. We've done boarding as well and have never had any problems. I'm thankful to all the staff!
Love this place! I have tried out multiple daycares for my dog and the difference in our experience with Happy Dog Care vs the others is night and day. Marcel is super excited when he goes to them and comes back completely exhausted after all the fun he has had!
I am so thankful for Happy Dog! I started taking my two dogs here when one was about 5 months old and full of energy, and she absolutely loved it. She is now 5 years old and still loves her days at Happy Dog! My other dog is a grump and doesn't usually like other dogs (or people), and even she pulls me through the door when we get there! The staff are wonderful and truly care about the dogs and treat them with so much love.
My dog has been attending day care as well as boarding at Happy Dog for over 8 years. He loves going to Happy Dog and the staff consistently provide kind and gentle care. Julie and her staff know canines and they supervise, feed, walk, and provide loving companionship to all the pups. When I have to travel or be away from home, I have no worries at all about my beloved dog being in their care. Dogs can crate overnight or be open; there are rooms for small dogs and plenty of play areas and equipment. It is super clean. They also can provide grooming if pre-arranged. I can't say enough positive things about this wonderful small business where my pup and I have made many human and canine friends over the years!!
