Our dog has done daycare, overnight stays, and a week long boarding. We have always had a great experience with Arlissa and Dayton Pet Care. They are very quick to respond, send daily updates, and take the best pictures. Luke always comes home tired and happy from all of the fun activities they do with him there!

Trusting Arlissa and Dayton Pet Care has been an incredible experience. Arlissa has cared for our dog, Archer, in both a daycare and boarded setting where she was professional and timely. We appreciate the ways she’s supported our family and the fantastic photos she’s taken along the way! We continue to use her services and she now watches our puppy, Honey!

I highly recommend Dayton Pet Care! They are flexible and easy to communicate/work with. Our puppy, Gia, is always excited upon arrival and exhausted from playing when we pick her up. It’s clear they are passionate about caring for animals, and they always provide us with plenty of photos to update us.

My husband and I had a wedding to attend in Dayton. Being from out of town I did some extensive research on the best place to leave our dog, Molly. Dayton Pet Care had great reviews so that is where we had Molly do an overnight stay. I was not disappointed at all! All through the night I received wonderful texts, and some of the best pictures that I’ve ever seen of our sweet girl. I felt very secure in the knowledge that Molly was being very well taken care of! I would absolutely have no problem highly recommending their service!

My bulldog boys love Dayton Petcare! The team keeps me updated on their activities with pictures and videos. I can see the joy in their faces. I’m very comfortable leaving them when I have to travel. Feels like you’re leaving you’re pet kiddos with family. I would recommend them over any chain establishment. It’s like you’re leaving your pet kiddos with family. ❤️Only problem I have is their exhausted when I pick them up 🤣🤣.

I highly recommend Dayton Pet Care for boarding your cat or dog. They are a 24 hour service, (a rarity) and we were able to drop off our doggo at our convenience. Arlissa was quick to respond after I booked, asked all the right questions and made our dog, Sidney feel at home and loved. She sent updates and awesome photos of Sid during her entire stay. She was properly cared for and exercised and had one on one playtime. Please check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful experience with Dayton Pet Care! The staff were kind and caring and we were given lots of updates about our furbaby! And our cat got a whole room to himself! If we need more pet boarding we'll definitely go with these guys again!

Dayton Pet Care provides quality care for my dog. He loves going to daycare and playing with all of his friends. They care for the animals as if they were their very own. And they take amazing photos! I am truly grateful for their services.

I simply can not say enough good things about this place! I just left my fur baby there for a week and I got daily updates and pictures letting me know he was doing good while he was there. The owner is very prompt to respond to any questions. And this place has a full on puppy carnival on site! I’m talking playground equipment and a little coaster. 10 out of 10. This will be the FIRST place I call from now on.

Very kind, detailed, and professional dog groomers and staff. Facility is always clean and well kept. Our standard size bernedoodle loves his groomer and this place (we do too). Our dog is a big boy at >120 lbs, and they are great about being patient with him and giving him breaks from the grooming table. They are fantastic with communication, and pricing is reasonable. We can tell they truly love what they do, and their grooming is fantastic. We highly recommend Diamond Kennels!

My Akita can be challenging, so I was nervous about leaving her at a new kennel while I was out of driving distance for a week—even though the staff are friendly and the property is beautiful. Turns out, I was the basket case. My girl was happy and well cared for! The groomer did a great job as well! This goofy girl! She’s been to Diamond Kennels a few times now and it’s amazing. The staff love her. She loves them. She always looks great after grooming and is relaxed about being dropped off. She’s a new dog at age 9.

Had a 10 day trip scheduled before we got our little rescue baby. They hooked us up with a room and a web cam so we could peek in on her. Also did an awesome job socializing her. Cleaned and groomed her right before we picked her up. Just look at that face!

Update: I wanted to update my review after having had our dog Enzo stay for his first multiple night stay in The Loft, luxury room at Diamond while we were out of town. I was kind of an anxious mess about leaving him for multiple nights. He is almost four and admittedly spoiled by me, so I was wondering how he would do away for several nights. Turns out HE was absolutely fine! The reservation included several breaks and social play opportunities throughout the day, which he loved as he lives for playing with other dogs. I love that the social play is always supervised and the employees take care to evaluate and group the dogs to ensure safety and appropriate play. The kennel also offered the option for 15 minute individual attention/cuddletime each day, which was great knowing he got loved on a bit. They also offered a special chicken treat each day before bed. I loved being able to peek in through the included 24/7 webcam anytime during the stay. He loved being able to snooze on a real hooman bed lol and I could tell he also spent a lot of time watching the comings and goings of staff through the big glass door in his room! He looked totally relaxed and at ease and happy every time I peeked in! What a relief! He didn’t eat much at all which had me worried but the staff was so great about assuring me that this is normal for a dog away from home and they gave him some individual encouragement which seemed to help. I love the report card they gave me at the end to give me feedback on his health and behavior during the stay. He has a seizure disorder and it is great knowing he would get his medication in a timely manner while we were gone.We try to bring him on most of our vacation trips but I will definitely continue bringing him to day camp and the occasional overnight to keep him familiar with staff and facilities for future longer stays. We always say, “Want to go to Diamond!” when we take him to daycamp and he gets so excited. When we got home after this longer stay, he was all relaxed and settled in at home again when he heard me mention the word “Diamond” to my husband and he jumped up and went to the garage door, wagging his tail, ready to go back! What a great feeling to see how much he loves it. I love this place and the staff here!!! My dog Enzo has been going to Day Camp to get used to the facility before we leave him for his first overnight stay. I must say that I am amazed at how his ears go up, his tail wags and he whines like an excited puppy the minute we turn into the beautiful, long driveway up to the facility. He runs to go inside. To me, that is the best recommendation a pet owner can possibly have!

We’ve been taking our baby for years and they take such good care of him when he is there. He’s happy to be dropped off and looks happy when picked up. They do good job taking care of meds and injuries as our baby isn’t a baby anymore but an old man. We trust diamond kennel for his needs and we can leave with confidence knowing he’s in good hands.

My dog is very high energy and a bit needy at times. I travel a few times a year and I would not bring my dog anywhere else even though I live almost an hour away! I have toured many boarding facilities in the Dayton area, and this one exceeds all of them by far. There are so many ways to customize your dog’s visit, which is really wonderful. The staff are wonderful and pay attention to the details. I love having the bathing option at the end of a board and feel comfortable leaving my Juniper here. I am so appreciative of Diamond Kennels and recommended to everyone for peace of mind while they are away from their fur babies!

Diamond Kennels did a great job grooming our two dogs today, I can't believe how good they look. Plus, they weren't petrified like after leaving a couple other groomers in the area. Cosmo stayed at Diamond Kennels for two weeks while we traveled in Italy. The property is absolutely stunning. Acres of pristine lawn. An excellent climate controlled facility for housing clients. The cleanliness observed is beyond reproach. The staff is kind and very knowledgeable. They offer every amenity imaginable. We scheduled Cosmo for a daily walk. They scroupulously followed our every request even down to giving Cosmo her little bedtime snack nightly. When a couple of small issues arose we received a phone call keeping us posted on our sweetheart. That helped us relax and enjoy our vacation. When we picked her up we received a report card which we definitely appreciated. But our favorite thing is: Cosmo is a very young and powerful dog. She is still learning self control. Since she has been home she is incredibly more poised and obedient. She heels on the leash impressively. All in all Cosmo is even more of a pleasure than she was before her stay at Diamond. We would certainly recommend Diamond Kennels and will use them in the future.

Love the care and communication they provide to our big boy Diesel. His nail are amazing! He doesn’t do well when we travel and with change, but appreciate the special care! Yes he’s spoiled!

I take my Golden Retriever puppy Louie to Dogtown Huber Heights for daycare 4 days a week. I cannot say enough good things about this location. The staff is incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable. Every time I drop Louie off he is more interested in being with them and his friends at daycare than saying bye to his mom. Whenever there’s been an issue they were quick to message me, and very helpful. I often look in to see how Louie is doing on the webcams and never see potty messes on the ground that aren’t addressed, or dogs fighting, the staff is always attentive and caring. Bringing Louie to daycare has been great for his socialization, and I love knowing that he’s not sitting in a kennel. Their grooming services are also fantastic, and it is so convenient to pick him up all bathed and trimmed and ready to go home. Pick up and drop off have always been quick and easy as well. Boarding there was also really convenient when we went out of town for a night. There are so many fun activities they do! It’s apparent to this very picky dog mom that the entire staff treat Louie like family. Definitely give them a try and see for yourself.

Absolutely love this place! Having recently moved to Dayton it was so hard to know whom to trust my pups with. I have been so thoroughly impressed and happy with dogtown Huber! The team here have been so observant of my dogs noting changes in behavior and even the smallest scratches on them! Great communication! You can tell they love what they do! My dogs are always excited for daycare and come back so happily exhausted! Have boarded my dogs here for trips as well!! Also love that they’re open 24/7!

Awesome facility! The employees really care about the dogs here, and take so much time to make sure they're as happy and comfortable as possible. They even have a salon, now! I love how the dogs get to roam a bit more freely rather than being confined to kennels for hours like other places. They maintain safety while giving more freedom, it's really fun!

We've taken our dogs here before and had no issues. Well this time our one dog was "aggressive". Our dog has never been that way not even at dog parks. So they isolated our dogs because we didn't have another option to come them while on vacation. I have talked to others and they have had similar issues after having gone several times. They also told us to bring her in more often as they could train her so they just want us to spend more money on a problem that wasn't even a problem. I watched the cameras and have seen dogs humping each other and others who showed aggressive behaviors but those dogs were not isolated.

Everyone is always friendly and really helpful. They have a lot to juggle but still have great customer service. Lillian is quick and knowledgeable and her confidence makes me feel comfortable leaving my dogs. Also, the groomer was great! I don’t remember their name though.

They were really nice and patient with our baby girl. They cleaned her up really nice and didn't take too long at all.

Love this place! My dog gets so excited when she goes to daycare and just loves it there. Everyone there is just so nice. They have great communication too, so if your dog is sick, just is acting too nervous, or anything else, they will always let you know which I really appreciate! She was even groomed there because it was convenient while she was in daycare and they did such a great job with her! She's a hyperactive dog and they were able to keep her calm. Great prices, open 24/7, and friendly employees! Dogtown is a great place to bring your dog!

I can't recommend Dogtown highly enough! From the moment we walk through the door, the staff always greets my pup and me with the most genuine warmth and enthusiasm. He's always so excited to go there in the morning and comes home happy and tuckered out, a sure sign he's had a day full of play and socialization. I love seeing pictures of him playing and interacting with other dogs - it's clear he's having the time of his life! The environment is clean, safe, and organized, with plenty of space for dogs to play, both indoors and out. They really pay attention to the individual needs of each pet, ensuring a good match in play groups and providing ample rest time. Choosing Dogtown for my doggy daycare needs has been one of the best decisions I've made for my four-legged friend. It's more than just a daycare - it's a community of dog lovers who make every day a fun, tail-wagging adventure for my pup!

We took our dog there for boarding while we were out of town. While on our way back, we called and asked if we could have him groomed, and they really went above and beyond and accommodated our request. It was very much appreciated and so grateful for a business like this.

Update: Austin has been going here for 4 years now and I am so thankful for Dogtown! I figured I should update my review from 3 years ago, because they are still so great. They are still amazing! We are so fortunate to have such a great place near us. The staff is so awesome! We have been taken out Bassett Austin here since he was 16 weeks old and is now 7 months old. He love it here so much! The staff is AMAZING and cares about every individual dog! We are so fortunate to have such a great place near us with great staff. I highly recommend checking them out!

I recently had to board my cat due to leaving on vacation and our apartment being worked on while we were away. This was the first time I’ve had to board her and I was very nervous but the entire team at Clayton Pet Hotel made it such a good experience. They took great care of my cat and even told me I could call in and check on her. The prices were very reasonable and if I ever need to board her again I will definitely return!

Amanda is beyond amazing!! I cannot express the gratitude that I have for her caring for my Joei (Shih Tzu) she took 4 hours grooming him, being ever so patient and kind to my baby. I was also shocked at how beautiful he looked with all the matting he had. Thank you so much Amanda!

Amazing place to take your animals! We frequently take trips and most of the time can't bring our two Aussies with us though we would love to. We've taken them here for years now and have never been disappointed. The staff are always very friendly and professional. My dogs always come back to me seeming happier and cleaner than when I dropped them off lol. I usually don't write many reviews, but after my experience this morning, I felt they earned it. The girl at the front desk was so pleasant. After she got my dogs for me we chatted for a good 10 minutes or so all the while being cheerful and answering any questions I had. This place is phenomenal and I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a pet hotel. (Side note: After reading some of these other reviews, one might think that if you wanted to slander a place, you could at least look credible by spelling correctly.)

Absolutely love this doggie place. Every worker there is so nice and helpful. My doggies are rescues that are timid at times and every time I pick them up they’re always so happy and never act like they’ve been mean to them. They always make sure my doggie stays clean and they always smell so good. They walked me through their facility and it was so clean and welcoming. My babies love it there and we will be returning more often! Thank you Rachel and Jamie for taking such good care of my babies! ❤️

I love taking Fury here. He loves to run around and make friends. It has been great for socialization for him during covid. I'm glad they can wash him. My boy Fury will not let me touch his feet.

Had a wonderful experience boarding my 2 dogs on a short notice. They surpassed my expectations! My dogs cam back clean and smelling so fresh! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Give them a chance! You won't be disappointed!

I absolutely love taking my German Shepherd to see Heather. She is phenomenal, our dog requires a bit of patience and she is so loving and caring with him!!

I had booked with them last minute and they were able to take my dog Bruno so that I can go on a quick family vacation and I'm glad I did. The staff there are so nice, they took care of him so well and the prices are so much cheaper than other places and there were no hidden fees. He was a happy pup when I picked him up and he literally rested for the rest of the day lol. He is an energetic dog, so I am glad I got in with Clayton Pet Hotel. I will definitely be back.

I do not have a very positive impression that this places cares about anything other than money. Animals that are boarded are left unattended for hours on end- this facility does not staff overnight leaving them unprepared should any emergency situation arise. The woman who answers the phone is extremely rude and uncaring, not the type of experience you want when you are thousands of miles away and calling in to check on your pet. They say they will call back with information and never do. Mike seems like a really nice and caring person who goes the extra mile to make sure pets are well cared for and happy, the rest of the staff there should take cues from him.

First time using Clayton Pet Hotel & Spa for my 7 month old Shar-Pei and this will be the only place that I will ever take my puppy. They were amazing!!! We were gone for 7 days and I was very nervous about how she would do while away from my house. The staff at Clayton Pet Hotel & Spa were exceptional. They were very kind and reassuring when I called to check on my pup (which was a lot of times, LOL). They explained that she may not eat a lot while staying there which I totally understood. They even called the day after we got back to make sure our pup was "settling in nicely." It's the little things like making phone calls that goes a long way. This is how customer service should be handled! The price was exceptional as well. Well done!!

We have taken our dogs other places only to pick them up sick or terrified. Absolutely no issues at all this time. So, with confidence, we would have no problem returning to the pooch parlor on our next vacation. The dogs came out happy and normal. Thank you so much for working with our schedule and helping us adjust drop-off and pick-up times for them. Really do appreciate it. Oh yes, the cost was very, very manageable for a week's time and two dogs!!!

Excellent place to leave your loved one or two while your out of town or out for a day. Seriously, they love dogs. It is so reasonably priced and the Conway’s do an amazing job.

Excellent customer service. Helped my family out during an emergency situation which required immediate boarding of my father’s dog. Very helpful and worked with us when we did not have a lot of information about future plans. Plus, they were very observant with his behavior/health changes. Made timely and accurate recommendations to help ease the stress of being in a new environment for an extended period of time. Thank you for all the help. My father was very appreciative of everything you did for his much beloved dog.

We are grateful for Conway's Pooch Parlor taking such great care of our Great Dane while we were on vacation. Our minds were at ease when we could see the videos posted of him playing outside with the other dogs. I think our vacation proved to be his vacation as well and he had a great time playing and running around. They're very reasonably priced and overall a kind family. We will definitely use their services again for future vacations if they'll have us. 10/10 recommend!

Took my puppy there when we went on vacation in July, She didn't try to pay attention to her or pet her till 3/5 days. She also said my dog is "wild and not calm like her dog", well I mean she's only a puppy and loves to play. When checking in, Jeannie did not let us see where she was going to stay or help make her comfortable. When my mother in law went to pick her up, she was very rude to her and put my dog down. I understand if you think that about my puppy, but If you're running a business then that's very unprofessional to speak about her like that to your customers. 1/10 would not recommend sending your dog there.

We have been boarding our dog at Jeannie’s Pooch Parlor for many years. She loves it there! She enjoys playing with the other dogs in the large play yard and pond! It is such a relief to go on vacation and know that she is being well taken care of by Jeannie and Gary!

Love this place for our dogs. She is really good with them and takes care of them. They have a nice heart shaped pond that the dogs can play in when they are taken out. It's a huge fenced in yard as well. Reasonably priced. Taking our dogs there again tomorrow for a week.

I would not take my beloved furbaby anywhere near this lady. My youngest daughter called for an appointment for our 2 shih-tzus to be groomed and the lady had asked where they had been getting groomed in the past so she told her the name of the business and that she just wasn't satisfied with the last couple of cuts. This lady told her she needed a deposit and proof of shots to be able to schedule. This was understandable because so many people are no shows. So I drove her out to make the deposit the cost for 2 cuts was about $80.00. I gave $60.00 for the deposit and I sat in the car while my daughter went in and paid the deposit. Here is where it starts. Number one she contacted the other business about my daughters dogs. It turned out that she was friendly with the other groomer. That right there is unprofessional in my book. The second thing was she asked my daughter when the last heat cycle she went thru and my daughter told her she did not know. This lady told her my daughter had no business having a pet if she couldn't tell. And she was not sure she would be able to have the dog there the day of the appointment if she was in heat because of the other animals. Okay number one is our little furbaby is now 11 years old and she has never been fixed and she has never went into a heat cycle . She has had regular visits to our family veteran ans kept up on all shots and has lived with a Male dog most of her life. She has never had any signs of a heat no discharge no swelling and never had a pregnancy or even had a Male dog be interested in her. Another thing is when I take my dogs in for a grooming I dont expect other dogs to be allowed around mine in the first place and not for many more reasons than a heat there is a possibility of another dog being aggressive or not having an illness. Needless to say my daughter came out of this lady's office near tears. She had just turned 18 and moved out in her first place . I stayed in the car for a reason it was time for her to do all these things on her own. No more mom taking care of it all. Making her grooming appointments were one of those things. Driving herself was up next her drivers exam was in a week. We never went back and never called. I told my daughter it was worth 60.00 to find out what kind of person would be caring for our pets. It wont be this lady. She is rude and unprofessional . I have heard good things from others and bad this was just our experience with her.

Sit Stay Dog Walking is the best. Abby and Clinton go above and beyond to care for our Teddy. A rescue, Teddy has come out of his shell being in the daycare setting with the other dogs. Abby has given us so much help with training Teddy ( or us as the case may be). He was initially very reactive but has become much less reactive as time goes on.thanks to her help! He has boarded with them and gets treated royally with special homemade treats and attention. We have an upcoming 2.5 week trip and we will be content in knowing he will be having his best life staying at their small doggy daycare boarding facility on their property.

We absolutely love Sit, Stay Dog Watching! We love our fur baby and don’t trust him with many people but SSDW makes us feel at easy while we are away. Constant updates on how he is doing with pictures! We know they are loving on him, just like we would be and he absolutely loves Ms Robin!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pet sitter!

We used Sit Stay Dog Watching to provide in home pet sitting service. Robin was wonderful! She was always sending us pictures and videos in real time during each visit. I really appreciated her frequent updates and reassurance in the videos explaining how things were going. Robin went above and beyond!! This was our first time using Sit Stay and we look forward to booking Robin again!

Sit Stay Dog Watching is my pups Ollie's favorite place. We do daycare and boarding. Ollie loves Abby and Clinton and they take get care of him and the pack. It has trained Ollie with the other pups and he really enjoys the playtime! We wouldn't go anywhere else. We love it!

We cannot recommend SSDW enough! The owners are magnificent people- the facility is clean, organized and escape free. They trained our pup for a week. Sent pictures and videos every day, multiple times a day and really helped us change her into a new pup. They also helped put my dog on a new food regimen and educated us about proper nutrition for dogs. You won’t regret sending your fur babies to SSDW.

I would highly recommend using Sit Stay Dog Watching for all your dog needs. We started using them for their dog sitting services, and were blown away by the great care that they provided. They provide great updates (often with photos), and have always been on time. They are also extremely easy to communicate with, which makes scheduling seamless. We recently boarded our puppy, Oakley for 8 days. I loved that they kept her busy and allowed her to play with the daycare dogs. 10/10 local business! 🐾

Abby and Clint are simply just awesome!! The care and concern they have for each of their guests is unsurpassed. I am so confident that when I take my dog to them that they will treat her like family. They are so in tune to the needs of the dogs they care for, there is never a second thought

They are amazing!! I completely trust them with my dog. Usually our dog doesn't eat when being boarded and you can tell when we pick her up, but not this time it was her first time with Sit Stay Dog Watching and she was happy and had been eating. They sent us photos throughout the weekend of her playing and having fun. They are our go to from now on!

I have to admit that I was a nervous wreck leaving my Furbabies, because I normally don't. Robin came over and met them, and spent time getting to know them! Robin eased my concerns with videos, pictures, and wonderful care. Robin is kind, and lovingly cares for her clients! I know they are in good hands.

Abby at Sit Stay Dog Watching is AMAZING! We have been sending our pup there for daycare for about six months and she has done so great there. We recently went out of town and boarded our 1 year old dog with Abby. I can’t begin to say enough good things about our experience. Abby takes such good care of our dog that it’s basically a vacation for her every time she goes and never wants to come home. Abby also keeps us in the know about everything going on and sends lots of pictures. We love Abby and Sit Stay Dog Watching and are so happy we found her!

I cannot speak highly enough of Maria, I’m so grateful we’ve been able to work with her! We were recently referred to Maria through our veterinarian when we had taken in a puppy that was in less than ideal living conditions. Due to her leaving her family too soon, she came with some severe behavioral issues. Maria is so incredibly knowledgeable, and from day one of working with her we have seen our puppy unlock skills that we would never have been able to uncover ourselves. She gave us a behavior modification plan, which we’ve been working on at home, and we’ve seen great strides in our puppies behaviors. We also send our puppy to work with Maria twice a week at Maria’s doggie daycare facility and it’s been FANTASTIC for her confidence. She gets to learn the skills of being social with other dogs, while also learning directly from Maria. I feel like Maria has truly helped us save this dogs life. Having two small children ourselves, we were very concerned what the outcome of having this dog could mean if she went into adulthood without correcting these behaviors. Maria has given us peace of mind and the tools to keep our girl as part of the family. I can’t recommend her enough, and we will be forever grateful to her for helping us. Often times dogs are euthanized or passed around when behavioral issues aren’t dealt with early on, so we will be forever grateful for the early intervention we received from Maria and everyone at Frey’s Place!

Clementine, pictured here after a day at daycare(!), loves going to Bahati and Frey’s Place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 🥰 She’s only been going for about a month, but has already had fantastic improvement in her confidence! She is excited to go now in the mornings and has even begun to play while there! She loves the enrichment activities and I can tell they are such great mental stimulation for her because of how tired and fulfilled she is when she gets home. Maria has been to my house to help with some training as well, and gave me all the tools and insight I need to move forward with my Clemmy. I can tell from my interactions with her and seeing her with Clementine that she truly cares about each and every dog individually and spends a lot of time considering what approaches and tools will help them to succeed. Clementine loves Maria and Mike!

Maria trained & socialized the best dog ever, Maggie! She has outstanding knowledge of the field, a keen eye for dog behaviors, & plenty of experience & success stories. I would feel comfortable leaving any of my animals with her at anytime and know that they would not only be cared for but made to feel like they are at home at Bahati & Frey's place.

I'm so glad we found Bahati and Frey's Place! Our puppy attends once a week and it's amazing to see how quickly she is overcoming her fear of other dogs. Before beginning care she exhibited a great deal of separation anxiety, and we've seen a huge improvement so far. Maria is very communicative and deeply knowledgeable. Every human and dog I've seen has been happy and excited to see her and Mike, and I feel very comfortable with my dog in their care. I'm looking forward to continuing our visits!

This is more than a typical dog day care! Our pup has been coming for a year, and I have seen him grow more confident and less reactive. Marie and Mike do a fantastic job and really care about the dogs; they are scrupulous about keeping a clean and safe environment for everyone. Highly recommend!

We had Maria over for a private training session last night for our new rescue pup. I can't tell you how impressed we were with her knowledge and ability to read our dogs. We also have a 12-year-old pit bull that we were not really concerned with, but she was able to give us simple instructions to help stop their barking. We were extremely frustrated and confused by some of the information we were told from other trainers. Maria told us easy simple corrections that worked! We are so looking forward to implementing them in the days ahead to gain the peace back in our house. Her calm and matter of fact approach is just what we needed.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I work in Dayton but live out of town and needed to find a place for my black lab every day. We had been to multiple places via Rover where my dog had to be dragged into their homes or center. Now that I found Bahati and Frey Place my dog literally jumps out of the car every day! He runs to the door and jumps up and down. He does this every single day and we have been going their for 4 months now. Maria is so talented and the enrichment and care he receives there is top notch! Mike is so caring and my dog shows both of them love and vice versa. He goes home tired every night! I was so stressed and upset about finding a place I could send my dog that I was considering giving him up but when I found Bahati and Frey Place that all changed! I can’t say enough good things about Bahati and Frey Place. Amazing!!!

Really amazing doggie day care. They truly care about the animals and work hard to make sure that their experiences there are valuable. The behavior correction is their biggest asset, and we bring home a tired dog. We hired Maria as a personal behaviorist and what a difference 24 hours can make! The education was so much different and valuable to my dog and his needs than his regular puppy training class.

Our little "Buddy" is in love with Maria, Michael and Frey's Place! He is so excited whenever we arrive there that he can't get out of the car fast enough! He has so much fun with all his friends that he is exhausted when I pick him up. This is a great environment for all that attend. The staff is very caring and attentive! We highly recommend Freys Place for your fur babies!!

Maria is very personable and fantastic with dogs. Definitely trust her with my furry soul mate. Our dog Frank goes to daycare twice a week - he has an absolute blast and I love bringing home a quiet, tired dog. It is so important for him to have his doggy days. We love Maria and Mike!

We boarded our two dogs (a mini schnauzer and golden retriever, Mipha and Medli) recently and we love this place! I am an anxious mess leaving our dogs with anyone, but the owners helped ease that anxiety by being very communicative and kind. First time boarder, and am so impressed! We have a 5 year old Great Pyrenees who requires a very large kennel, and not many places can take him. Our regular place was booked, so I had to find an alternate. Wow, What A FIND! They were very nice, allowing me take a tour of the place before I booked. It was very clean & they have nice fenced areas outside for the dogs to go out individually to run off some steam. They include 4 walks/day with their price, which is a great deal. The ultimate reason for my 5 Star review is when I picked up my sweet dog, he was CLEAN (even though he had not been bathed by them) and appeared very well cared for. The lady gave me a report on his behavior & eating habits. As we were leaving, she said goodbye to my dog & instead of making a beeline for the door & dragging me out so he could go home, he turned around & wagged his tail at her, then went to her for kisses. That said everything. He felt safe & well cared for by the people there. I am SO GLAD to have found this kennel, and I will definitely be using them from now on.

I moved to Ohio in August of 2024 and needed a kennel to call “home” for my two dogs when we travel. I gave Howliday Inn a shot and haven’t looked back since! In fact, I didn't even want to write this review because I always want them to have a spot for us 😂🫶 They offer add ons (play time, peanut butter kings, pup cups and a night time tuck in with warm blankets) and they also do nails and grooming! Carrie and Ruth are always responsive and easy to work with, and more so they do so well with my big, anxious goofy dog Tucker who doesn’t really like anyone that doesn’t live with us 😂 (But my other boy, max loves everyone and gets so excited to see Carrie) photo of my goodest boys for tax. Thanks for all you guys do!

Howliday was such a wonderful experience for our fur baby Scampers. The staff is exceptional and you can tell how much they care for their clients.

This place is great. They’ve been watching my dogs (Sally & Bailey) for a few years now every time we go out of town, I couldn’t ask for better caretakers.

Howliday Inn is incredible, they are flat out the best place to care for your dog when you need to board. They have flexible hours, friendly staff, provide detailed care and great rates. On top of all of that the owners are incredible people who breed and show their own dogs as well as work for Ohio Department of Natural Resources. It's obvious they care about animals and will treat your pooch accordingly.

This is the third time I have taken Abbey here. They are always very welcoming to her. She is comfortable with them which is very important to me. They do a great job and I highly recommend them for your boarding needs!

The owners and workers are awesome! My dog took to them right away... it was clear how much they all cared about dogs. Our dog, Rose, was happy when we returned from being gone for almost two weeks. It was her first time being boarded, and I was a little nervous, but pleasantly pleased when we returned. I'll definitely use them again.

Very accommodating to our last minute cancellation from our dog sitter over Memorial Day weekend. They called us back and let us know they had room for our dog. Great value! Dogs are kept separate, which was great for our dog who is more anxious around larger dogs. Our dog has some anxiety and has been sick from stress when we pick him up from some boarding facilities, but he was perfectly fine after a weekend at Howliday Inn.

I’ve used Homeward Bound twice now while on vacation, and have been very happy with their services each time. They took great care of my cat, sending me photos and reports at every visit, and were accommodating to his special food needs. They also were able to come for a last-minute visit when my return flight was delayed by several hours. My cat was relaxed and in good spirits when I returned home, and it was reassuring to know he was in good hands the whole time. Would recommend!

We’ve used Homeward Bound twice and they are the best. We had an issue with a hiding cat…I called and they got right back with me and assured me they would look high and low for our elusive Gracie. She usually isn’t so shy but her schedule was disrupted and she preferred to sleep through dinner time. They found her hiding place, problem solved. We used to ask our friends to cat sit, but asking your friends to clean a litter box on a daily basis is a big “ask”. We’re so glad we found Homeward Bound.

We have been using Homeward Bound as our Pet Care for around 5 years. The communication and care they have for our fur child makes life away from home less stressful.

They cared for our pets for 8 days and did an outstanding job. We received e-mail reports after every visit (2 per day) with pictures. Knowing they were taking care of our furry friends put our minds at ease and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing they were in excellent hands. Would give 10 stars if that were an option. Highly recommend this service. Very professional and caring.

Homeward Bound is the best pet sitting service I’ve ever used. They have taken such wonderful care of my pets. When I got a new puppy, Roscoe, they were so good with him. They took fantastic care of him, visiting him twice daily to cuddle, play with him and take him out to potty. He has grown into such a playful and confident dog because of the consistently wonderful care he received in his formative years through Homeward Bound. HB thank you so much for treating my fur baby with such great care.

I have used the ladies at HWB for the last 20 months. They have taken care of my dog well and follow instructions well. Their customer service is phenomenal. If I ever had an issue, they were open about resolving it. One time, they tracked snow into my kitchen. When I told them, they profusely apologized, refunded my fee for that day, and that has never happened again. They are flexible to my weird schedule and responsive to their texts. I live further away so they charge an extra $1 or so, but I don’t mind because I trust them with my dog.

I wish I could leave this business a 100 star review. My son hired them to visit 3 times a day while we were in TN. They had problems with the lock and waited at his house until almost midnight so a locksmith could let them in. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement!!!

My baby Athena loved her dog walkers and her time with them. We had moved and we were outside their area but if I could I would use them again. They were so good with Athena and they sent pictures of their time with her and I looked forward to them on my 12 hr days. Me and Athena appreciated them so much 💓 …

Homeward Bound Pet Care took wonderful care of my cat on multiple occasions. They would take pictures of her and send me updates while I was away. They were very responsive to any questions or concerns. I highly recommend their services!

I have been using Homeward Bound for cat sitting for the last two years. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are trustworthy, dependable and very focused on making sure your pets are well taken care of. I’ve used them numerous times and never had a single issue. My son and I love reading the daily journals and looking at the pictures they took of our cats. It’s been such a relief not to have to worry about them when we go out of town. I highly recommend them!

I use to keep my current and past dog here when I lived in Ohio. Great place. If you can get in, I highly recommend keeping your dog here. The owner is super nice and my dog enjoyed staying here.

Awesome place to have your dog boarded. My Italian greyhound did not like staying in the wired kennels. So Leslie brought my dog into her own home and let him stay there for the entire stay(4days)! Would any other boarding facility do that, probably not. She even laid with him at night time. He was very well cared for and he had fun playing with he other furry friends in the house. I'd highly recommend having your dog stay there. She also wanted my dog to come back and cuddle up again lol. Thanks again.

Best place to board your dog in Dayton, hands down! They have always been extremely friendly and very accommodating. Also, from what I can tell, they let the dogs out more often than other places, which is important to me. The owner lives on site which is also a very comforting feature for this business. All in all, I highly recommend Pet Shack Resort!

Had a great experience boarding our dogs here for the first time! When we picked them up after the weekend we got to chat with the owner, very nice lady! Other girl working even offered to help us load the dogs up into our car, going above and beyond. Dogs said they had a good time too :) Will definitely be using them again.

Leslie and Pet Shack have been a blessing for our dog Lillie. Leslie has been doing mid day visits with our dog because she was just diagnosed with a chronic illness. We wouldn’t trust anyone else! Also have had great experiences with boarding too. Would highly recommend!

Pet Shack Resort took the best care of my dog. I would never hesitate to use them again or suggest them to anyone. Being able to see my buddy throughout the day gave me peace of mind as well and the owner is a wonderful person!

We love this place. Our Starla has been going when we leave town for over one year. The staff is excellent and gets to know your dog. They were even able to accommodate Starla when she had a cone and they took the time to make sure she was still able to eat her food. You can also pay for one on one time and get pics on Facebook!

They are the best. From our challenging Border Collie pepper yeara ago to our current two rescue dogs. They can deal with all circumstances. Recently my mother passed away. Leslie and team got our dogs right in and gave us piece of mind knowing our dogs were in good hands, as family and friends were in and out of the house all week. My dogs are my kids, I take them everywhere, but once a year I have to board them. It gives me great anxiety to leave them places, that is...until I found Pet Shack Resort, and Leslie. We actually travelled with our dogs from two states over to board them with Leslie (we were visiting family in Ohio). I spoke to Leslie at length before scheduling boarding them and was so surprised by how different her business is from other kennels. She operates her business so that the dogs and owners have the best possible boarding experience. Here’s how: 1.) She only allows about 22 dogs max. 2.) She has gigantic dog runs. 3.) She offers one on one “attention” times with dogs were she loves on your pup. 4.) She doesn’t allow other people’s dogs to play together. 5.) She’s fully transparent with her business practices because there are webcams you can view all over the kennel. Now, I will tell you that I worked for years at a dog kennel in another state and I want to break down why all the above points are SO important: 1.) You want to board your dog somewhere that cares for a small number of dogs. This way they get the BEST care. Many other kennels will board close to 100 dogs around the holidays and it is a very stressful environment for dogs. That means lots of barking, noise, smells, over stimulation, etc. 2.) Kennels that have tons of dogs mean your dog has less space and more stress. 3.) Other kennels can’t offer your dog this kind of attention because they typically have way more dogs to care for than employees. 4.) Some people might think not allowing dogs to play together is a bad thing. But this is the #1 reason I felt safe boarding here. As a formal kennel worker somewhere else, it is my experience that it’s not good to put a ton of stressed out dogs in yards together. Especially with more dogs than employees to watch them. Fights and teethy tiffs between dogs are inevitable. And employees are tasked with getting to them and breaking them up (assuming they are even paying attention to your dog getting into it with another dog and not playing on their phone). Trust me, your dogs are much safer and happier not being tossed into the dog world version of the Thunderdome. 5.) Leslie has nothing to hide and cameras show it, and not every kennel offers this and you can keep an eye on your baby. It’s obvious Leslie loves dogs, and I am grateful for how she operates her business. As long as we can, we will definitely be boarding our pups with her when we visit Ohio. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
