Terrible Grooming Experience! The first photo shows my dog's beautiful feathers before the grooming, which I did not request to be cut. The second photo is of the groom I received. I adopted this dog on July 2nd and took her for grooming on July 17th at 8:30 AM. Upon arrival, they told me they needed to shave under my Golden's ears due to matting. I should have left at that moment when I heard the word shave. Despite their assurances, the groom did not go as planned. The groomer did not follow my instructions or the reference photos I provided, which showed the desired feathers, mane and all around. Instead, she decided to do her own thing. My Golden's ears were the only part of the groom that turned out decent. I’ve decided to groom my dogs myself from now on. I was extremely upset when I left and had no words. When I called back to express my dissatisfaction because unfortunately I had paid during the groom, the groomer brought up a previous story I shared with her and criticized me told me no wonder groomers don’t like taking my dogs because I waited nervously in their lobby, well I don’t live near the place and I told her I may go shopping but that’s what makes this groom even worse I was out in the lobby at all times they could of came out and asked me anything. In the end, the owner only refunded half of my money, citing the need to pay the groomer he valued his groomer for her awful work over the customer. If I had been fully refunded, I might not have left this review. This grooming business is not reputable. I wouldn’t trust them with my dogs. My dogs hair has barely grown back and it’s been 31 days since the groom. But she did shave her.

We have depended upon Canine Country Club for the past 20+ years to take care of our 4 legged family members. Kudos to owner Roni and Kennel Manager Bonnie for always hiring the most competent loving caring staff. There is no other facility that we would trust with our girl!

Been boarding and using their grooming services here for my dogs for several years. In all that time my dogs have been VERY well taken care of. The grooming staff and services are always well done and the dogs are happy and look fantastic when they are done. The staff listens and does a fantastic job! The boarding services are excellent and the dogs are very well taken care of and safe in their keep. The staff is always really friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. I totally and completely recommend their services.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience boarding at Canine Country Club. Everyone is such a pleasure to communicate with and overall just an incredibly pleasant experience for us as dog owners but more importantly our dog. We have boarded at a different, very well known, name brand boarding facility in the area and we knew the moment we picked her up that she was anxious and uneasy and likely didn’t enjoy her experience. We were told she had trouble eating (she’s a major food driven dog so it was a huge surprise) which was likely due to stress and she came home with a UTI and diarrhea. With that said, we were worried about boarding her anywhere but had heard so many good things about Canine Country Club so we wanted to give them a try- we are so glad we did. This is a very well operated facility staffed with people who genuinely care so much for animals. The owner seems to live on the property which left me with great comfort knowing they were so close to the dogs and could care for them with at much more flexible hours. You don’t have to “pay” for extra play time, walks, etc. here- it’s just part of actually caring for your dog. Not to mention how reasonable the price is to begin with. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

I shared this on Facebook so I thought I would share it here since my experience with them was absolutely amazing! “We took my dog Bear to Canine Country Club, Queenstown, Md!! They were amazing (I’m a helicopter dog mom with crippling anxiety). They reassured me almost every day that bear was doing just fine! They were affordable (literally half the price) and they took such good care of Bear. He didn’t come home sick, or with cuts, and actually came home a little chunky because of being treated like a little King 😂❤️ they sent pictures the first day and even posted more on Facebook and a video! Needless to say my dog was depressed when coming home and I’d like to believe that it’s because he had so much fun there. They talked so highly of Bear. I know my boy was cared for well and highly recommend them! I will ALWAYS go back after that! ☺️☺️” HIGHLY RECOMMEND! THANK YOU!!

My dogs actually seem happy when I drop them for grooming, haven’t used them for anything else yet.

This place is apparently ran by scammers. They charged me DOUBLE for my dogs stay when I told them we would be 30 minutes late for pickup and they assured us it was “no big deal and they’d waive the fee”, but failed to mention in those cases they charge a fee AND a whole other day of boarding as another fee??? A business that operates in deceiving and gas lighting customers is sick. Don’t trust these people.

My boy has been coming here since he was a tiny pup. The staff are friendly and treating him like their own. He loves to stay here and even perks up when he hears me say the name. Without a doubt, this place can be much more expensive than other options for kenneling your dog. However, its proximity to my house and the quality they provide make the extra money worth it for mine and my puppy's peace of mind.

Staff are simply AMAZING! This was the first boarding experience for my Newfoundland Ovechkin. Needless to say, his 170 lb body can be quite intimidating but he is just a gentle giant. They were understanding when mommy called almost daily to check in. He formed a bond with a few of the female caretakers and he loved the extra attention. Newfoundlands = massive amounts of slobber and they made sure he stayed cleaned up. Will definitely use this boarder again in the future. The prices are INCREDIBLE plus you can add on many, many extras for your pet!!!

Our puppy loves it here! Can’t say enough about how great it is! Staff is welcoming and easy to work with! Strongly recommend you give them a try! I am glad that that I listened to my friend that recommended them!

I feel confident my high maintenance Frenchie is taken care of here. Emily is great. All my communication was answered via text or calls. My dog was very happy here.

I have been taking my dog here for years and was a little worried about the new management. But believe it or not the new management is even better! Our dog is staying there now and will be there for 21 days. Upon request, they sent us pictures of playing with a chicken and swimming in the pond. And also running around with lots of other dogs. Made me feel better about being away from her.

We had a family event in my house yesterday and because of the amount of people we invited, it was best that I leave my darling dogs in the care of Wye River Kennel for the day and night. A huge shout out to Rocky at Wye River Kennel. They came home happy and tired. Thank you for taking care of our two most favorite kids! ( They never argue back 😂) We appreciate you!

I highly recommend using Wye River Kennel for your boarding needs! The staff always goes above and beyond to care for my two mini Australian shepherds. Emily and Tori are incredibly welcoming and helpful and will do anything to make sure my dogs are cared for and loved during their stay. I drive almost an hour to keep my dogs at Wye River because they are that great. I’ve been using them for nearly two years now and have always had the best experience. The kennel is clean and well taken care of.

We boarded our 3 Toy Manchester's for 24 days in Apr, 2024. They clearly had a wonderful time, as they weren't even anxious to go home. They looked at me like, "what are you doing here??" I'm convinced that they had accepted Wye River as their new home.

Our pets experience was top notch. We felt like our dog was staying with a loving friend. The enrichment and daily updates made us feel connected while we were away. I look forward to our next trip knowing our pup will be in safe hands.

Our dog Sura had the best time at Wye River Kennel. The staff was patient and kind as she was a little nervous at first. She enjoyed the outdoor time with the other dogs and her walks. Bonus points for having her all bath and ready to come home when her visit was over.

Wye River Kennels is an amazing place. Boarded my German Shepard for 9 days. She did amazing. We don’t board her very often but when we do she doesn’t eat much, lays around, and we usually end up with a $400 vet bill for infection. At Wye River she ate, was with other dogs without barking at them, and didn’t need any anxiety medicine. First time at Wye River and she loved it. They even sent me a video of her interacting with the dogs as he knew I was anxious about boarding her. Rocky and his staff are amazing. This will be the only place I board her from now on. They also are the most reasonably priced. Can’t say enough about them.

Wye River Kennel was by far the best place for my dogs to be boarded while I was deployed for 6+ months. Being in the military for over 19 years I have had to board my dogs at multiple places throughout the country. Wye River Kennel is owned by Rocky who is a veteran. He went above and beyond making sure that my dogs were taking care of while I was gone. They took care of my dogs like they were family and I will not board my dogs any place but there. For any military members within the D.C., Baltimore or Dover area, Wye River Kennel offers a very reasonable military discount. You will not be disappointed choosing Wye River Kennel.

We contacted Pawwws Aboard to see if they were able/willing to watch a mini pig. Jazmin stated she had never done it but was willing to try. She came to meet him and we all felt comfortable so we booked her for 2 visits a day while we were away. She has fair pricing with multiple ways to pay. She was very communicative while we were away and sent pictures, videos, and updates during each visit. We felt at ease knowing she was there taking care of our pig. Will definitely use Pawwws Aboard again for future trips if she’s available

She is an awesome puppy sitter!! I will definitely be using her the next time my husband and I go on vacation! She sent us videos everyday for updates on our little one and she was always happy and playing. She showed our Frenchie lots of love and attention. I was very nervous about leaving her but she assured me that she was in good hands and I had nothing to worry about! She has a forever client here!

Jaz has been amazing! Pups and I moved to Baltimore and were so lucky to have found her! Takes great care and they adore her. I have a pup that needs meds twice a day, She is very responsible and I can trust her to be on time. I travel a lot for work, wouldn’t know what to do without her!

Jazmin is absolutely amazing!! She welcomed my baby boy into her home and he loved every visit. He adjusted well and surprised me with how well he did with the other dogs in her care. She even came to my home for personal walks when he was sick for a couple of days. An absolute God-send. Your dog is in good care with Pawwws Aboard! 🐶

Jazmin is excellent with my two senior dogs. They both love her. She checks on and spend a got deal of time with them the numerous tomes daily. Send picture to show me they good. Highly recommend her services. I will most definitely use her again!

We started daycare with Jazmin for our very energetic pup. Bailey loves her and always enjoys her time. Jazmin really cares for all the pups that she takes care of.

I had a pause in my need for a pet sitter during the past year. We just did a camping trip and needed to board our fur babies. Even though we moved further away from Jazmin, I thought of her first. She responded quickly that she had an opening and during our trip she sent pictures of Emma playing with a toy and Lingling playing with the puppy, Beauty. I knew they were in good hands!

Cannot recommend this groomer. Undependable as she does not respond to phone calls and cancels an appointment after I arrive to drop off my pet. My first appointment went well, got in quick, reasonable price and fair to good quality grooming but I had to call her to find out that my dog was ready for pickup. On attempt to set second appointment it took 5 calls by me to reach her after leaving messages on phone and with an employee. (She never returned my calls or attempted to reach me) Over 4 weeks to get appointment and then she has an employee tell me she cannot keep the appointment when I arrive. I live about 25 minutes away so about 1 hour of my day was wasted. Find someone else.

We have been taking our two dogs to Angel's for years now. Always a great experience. They come home worn out as if they were vacation too. My kids like to say hello to Beyonce, the grey chicken.

My dogs love going to Bay Away!! As soon as we pull into the driveway they start screaming and can't wait to get out of the car!! Have not had a problem with kennel cough or any other issues. I know my guys always get great care there!!!

Neglected to tell me that my dog was injured while I was away, and almost escaped to route 301. After almost $900 going to an emergency vet in Annapolis, they didn’t offer any help when confronted about said injuries. It is a shame because this place was highly recommended by multiple people from D.C. to ocean city Not a fake comment and love how you assume that right away, it was under my mother name bc we brought her dog and mine and I don’t need to give you any more information than that.

I've had my dogs boarded at several different facilities and this is probably one of the best I've seen. They care for your pets as if they were their own.

Will def be bringing my pup here again! I am so happy with the service I and my 8 month old rotti girl Gracie received :) Thank you Angel for taking such good care of my girl while we were gone!

We’ve trusted Shari and her team with our dog since he was a puppy. They were there for us every step of the way and helped us develop our dog into a well mannered adult! They are trustworthy and reliable. We never worry when we’re at work, but it’s always nice to get an update in the app to confirm their visit. Priority One Pet Services has been so helpful with our dog. At first, I was nervous to leave my dog at home all day, but Shari and her team have gone above and beyond to prove that my dog is in great hands and loved. Plus, her daily walks have helped her becomes more leash trained! We love POPS!

Priority One Pet Services is fantastic, I love this company! They are highly experienced with both cats and dogs and they truly care about the well being of my pets when I am out of town. I have a hard time trusting anyone with my animals, but I trust them 100% and I always have peace of mind when I use their services. They also give me daily updates on my pets and photos and they follow all of my instructions impeccably. I cannot recommend them enough, they are trustworthy, and they really love animals and they give mine the time and attention they need when I am out of town.

Shari, the owner, is very careful and diligent to employ only the best pet caretakers. I have rescue dogs who have known neglect and bad treatment in the past, and so I am very particular about who I trust with their care. I receive detailed reports with photos via text after each visit, which is very reassuring. Additionally friends and neighbors who have observed the dogs with the pet sitters have reported their positive opinions about the service. When I get home my pets are contented and obviously well cared for. Thank you Priority One for the peace of mind!
