Mary was fantastic from start to finish and looked after our elderly dog with love and attention to her needs. She also looked after our home with respect and care. We couldn't have asked for a nicer sitter and would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.
Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for! She was communicative and easy going. She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi. She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday. While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation". I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos. They definitely bonded. :) I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.
Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
Felecia was an excellent sitter and perfect companion for Livi, our 3 yr old Aussie mix! She was always prompt with communication when needed, took great care of our pet and house and was just as clean coming home as we left it. I would not hesitate to recommend Felecia for other sits.
Erin was a great pet sitter who took such good care of little Chino. She was very reliable, kept us up to date with videos/pictures, looked after our home and kept it neat and tidy. She even left a thoughtful gift upon our return and was flexible with our travel plans. We would definitely recommend Erin for anyone looking for a reliable and friendly pet sitter!
Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.
Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!

My little Shih Tzu has improved so much in just two sessions. She suffers with leash reactivity and after trying other local trainers without any success I spoke to Jill at Mountain View and I now have hope that Maggie and I will get through this issue together. I’m very happy and would highly recommend their services.
If you have a dog that is very excitable this isn’t the kennels for you. Our boy is amazing and loves people but the owners couldn’t cope with him been slightly pleased to see humans after been locked up in a kennel for several hours. We were made to feel like the worst dog parents ever. They forced us to use their unqualified trainer and drive an hour each way which didn’t help in any way and then cancelled our booking which left us stressed as it was for our daughter’s wedding and didn’t care one iota. I left in tears so save yourself the stress and book yourself somewhere that understands dogs.
Our beautiful Wemeraner has just had his 3rd boarding visit, in 18 months, at the fabulous Mountain View Boarding Kennels. He always comes back looking as healthy as when he was collected. Gill also always sends us pictures of Ronnie, to reassure us! This was only a quick stay, but on a last minute request he was 'showered' before he was returned, looking & smelling great! We certainly wouldn't use anywhere else & would certainly recommend this amazing, professional Boarding Kennels to anyone! Especially if you who want your 'loved' pet to be looked after & cared for as you would wish! Thankyou Gill x
Simon came home a happy kitty. Such a relief that he was well cared for while we were away.
We chose Mountain View based on their reviews. However business like they may be but upon collecting my five ginger kids I was horrified to see them traumatised with changed personalities! Having had them home for a week they have done nothing but eat. They are clingy and are having nightmares. We have used other catteries in the past and this never happened before! Would not recommend! A friend suggested I look at your response and although I had moved on from this traumatic experience, I felt I could not leave your inaccuracies available for public view. I delivered 5 well adjusted ginger cats that had all been born in our house, along with Mr. Robinsons 4 tabbies. When at home they seek love and closeness and are calm at all times. So it only goes to prove that their experience with you was the reason they stayed away from any human for a while..... We are thankful that they finally forgave us for taking them to you 🙏 I leave Mr Robinson to answer your comments regarding the alleged 'never having his fur babies'.
After loads of hassle to get my four cats into Mountain View whilst I went on holiday, I left them to be cared for. When I got back from holiday I arranged to pick them up between 4 an 5pm. I got there 10 minutes early, rang to let me in and was kept waiting until 4. When I was let in I was horrified to see the way my cats reacted to her and me. Hissing, spitting and cowering. All I wanted was to get them out of there as fast as possible, which wasn't easy when they were so frightened and traumatized. My 3 legged special needs cat wouldn't walk! He has needed to be encouraged to exercise again. All of them have lost weight and have done nothing but eat since returning. Personally one star is far too much and I would never put my kids through that again. Not recommended at all. I thank Mr. Porter for drawing my attention to your response and I felt I needed to add the following. I appreciate the fact you don't enjoy bad reviews, but calling me a liar is rich when you didn't acknowledge the fact you had taken in Gambit our 3 legged hero. Incidentally, one of the most loving boys I have ever had. I can only assume you take so little interest in your charges that you didn't notice one with a leg missing!! I stand by my previous review and should you feel that the Guardia need be involved I suggest you use their Seprona division. They are directly responsible for environmental and animal abuses. NB....we are working closely with them fighting for the rights of street cats, so they know our record in this area.
Fantastic kennels with owners who have been operating for nearly twenty Years, who offer a safe and fun place for our beloved pets. Our baby has just spent over a week in their care whilst we were abroad, they sent updates and even a picture to reassure us of his wellbeing. Will now be using this treasured place to give him play days, and further holidays. Highly recommend for other pet owners.
Mountain View looked after our two mini Dachshunds really well. Had them in the paddling pool, sent us videos and updates with photos on a regular basis, and the dogs looked really healthy when we picked them up after there 4 week stay. Thanks, Gill & her team.
I can not recommend Mountain View highly enough. My 3 fur babies had an amazing time in their own luxury dog villa. They were very well looked after. Gill sent me daily updates which was so reassuring. Thank you so much guys, absolutely top rated service
