We've used Purple Paws a number of times to walk our Boxer who can be a bit of a handful but Cora is excellent with him. We are so happy to have found her and Milo clearly loves his walks with her. I can't recommend the services of this company highly enough.

Cora is fantastic with our Cockerpoo she has looked after him whilst we have been away and he gets so excited when he sees her. I’ve used Purple Paws for the occasional dog walk too and Cora also feeds our rabbits when we are away. I wouldn’t trust my dog with anyone else, she’s just brilliant.

Purple Paws offer a great service of excellent pet care. I use Cora for her pop in service to feed and check on my rabbit Milkshake!! Highly recommend!

Amazing!

Kieran is absolutely brilliant with our dog. He’s reliable, really cares about animals, takes him for such great walks and even sends brilliant pictures. I know Milo is in such safe hands when we are at work and loved as much as we love him. I highly recommend Kieran for his very reasonable and excellent service.

Kieran gave excellent care to our two guinea pigs while we were on holiday. He loves animals and we felt very happy leaving our pets with him. His small animal boarding facilities are excellent. Would highly recommend.

Ace Buddies has been amazingly reliable for Layla. Kieran has never let me down and I always know she is in good hands. I never worry about her. She was introduced to Ace Buddies as a German Shepherd puppy and has grown to be a playful, well behaved and confident dog who loves humans. I give ace buddies much credit in this. I cannot speak highly enough of Kieran's truly good natured and professional approach. Every time he has walked my dog, I receive positive feedback which speaks volumes in itself as Gemma can be a bit fussy and challenging to say the least! I’m so glad I found Caroline who looked after our two cats for 5 days doing twice daily drop in visits. I had some difficulty getting someone local to Wadhurst so I did a quick search and her name popped up. Thankfully she was willing to come and do drop ins for us from Crowborough. From the first initial contact to meeting my cats, providing her DBS and insurance checks, Caroline was really professional and supportive. I had not had a drop in pet sitter before so as this was our first time, I was really at ease with Caroline and her natural connection to animals. Caroline put me at ease after the first introductory visit with my cats and I was able to give her detailed instructions, as one of my cats has IBS. Caroline was really attentive to these instructions and she also communicated very well throughout the time we were away, sending photos and videos that put our minds at ease. My children really appreciated the videos as they are a part of our family like everyone’s pets are. We definitely have missed our cats and are so grateful they were taken care of so well. I highly recommend Caroline as a pet sitter to anyone looking for someone who puts your mind at ease when going on holiday. Thank you so much Caroline! I’m so glad we found you!

Caroline hands down is the best dog sitter and only dog sitter we would ever have! We had to call with short notice due to being let down by someone else and Caroline managed to fit us in and take all the stress out of us on our wedding day! She is very professional, sends updates of your pets and honestly puts you at ease the moment you meet her! With out a shaddow of doubt I would highly recommend her, you will not be dissapointed! We are now actually looking to re-book and plan some more dates in advance 💗 if you need a dog sitter for a few hours or a longer period, Caroline is your lady!

Caroline and Edward looked after our labradoodle for the weekend just gone. It was the first time we had used Caroline's services. Caroline came ahead of her stay to meet our dog, sent us DBS, insurance and first aid certificates and was keen to know all about our dogs routine. During the weekend she sent lots of happy updates and we returned to a dog who was the least excited to see us after a weekend away he's ever been 😂 I am so glad I found Caroline and would highly recommend her. She even left a lovely bag of treats for our dog as a goodbye gift. 🐕

This was a first time for me, leaving my fur babies with a stranger in my home for a week but from the get go, I felt very comfortable with Caroline and she did a lovely job. My dogs received lots of love, attention and walkies and Caroline sent us daily pics/updates which was very much appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Caroline and would happily utilise her services again if the need arose.😊

Caroline is amazing, simple. I was so anxious about leaving our 2 sausages but right from the first day all the worries disappeared. The regular daily updates and photos were amazing but more to the point I felt as though she really got to know their personalities and quirks. I would recommend Caroline any day and will absolutely book again because how wonderful for our dogs to have someone else in their little lives who they love as much as they love us.

Caroline looked after our dog and house overnight recently and we could not be happier with the experience. When we were away Caroline and Edward did such a great job in bringing our shy rescue dog out of her shell in the house and garden and on her morning walk. We can't recommend Caroline's services highly enough. Caroline (and Edward) sat for us last week while we were away on holiday. We have two quite demanding dachshunds and a cat. To be honest, I think they are all a bit gutted we are back and Caroline isn't here anymore :-). Caroline sent us many updates, videos/pics of the pets each day, which really helped us relax on holiday knowing they were in the very best hands....plus the added bonus of having the house occupied while we were away. Caroline looked after my dog, two cats and my house for ten days. She’s fantastic! I got updates every day with photos of my happy pets. My dog is strong and boisterous but I felt happy to leave her with Caroline as I totally trust her ability to walk her and look after her with her kindness and patience. As well as looking after the pets, Caroline watered my plants and left my house clean and tidy. I strongly recommend Caroline’s services!

Doodledooz looked after my dog Lola for a week-end and I was very happy with the warm and friendly service. Not only did they take her for walks, they asked lots of questions about her likes and dislikes which gave me a lot of confidence safe in the knowledge that she would be well looked after. There is a large fenced garden for the dogs to run around and I was pleased to have received pictures of Lola having lots of fun with the other dogs. I definitely highly recommend Doodledooz.

Such an amazing devoted couple dedicated to caring for your Dog. I’d booked in Jimmy for a long weekend and was updated with Photos every day. My pooch looked like he was on his own holiday, loving life meeting other dogs and plenty of walks. Could not thank you two enough. Trusted, reliable, friendly and safe dog walking for my quirky rescue dog. Used for 3 years now and will continue to. Whilst away they start a WhatsApp group to give regular updates. Wonderful customer service!

Would highly recommend Paws Buddys pet Care . The level of care they gave my two very old dogs when we went away was superb . We received regular updates and photos which were lovely , Michelle and Andy went to great trouble to ensure their routines were kept to and coming home to two very happy and content dogs and an immaculate house was wonderful. Absolutely brilliant , very caring and knowledgeable and knowing your dogs are in the best of care was a huge relief.

Michelle and Andy have looked after our black Labrador Oscar over a number of years. They are reliable, lovely people and most importantly… really love the dogs they look after! They have always been flexible with my shift work/requirements and I recommend them highly!

Ula spends a day a week with Sarah and I'm pretty sure it's the highlight of her week. She can be quite a handful at times, but I know she's in great hands with Sarah. Plus, she always comes home a very happy, tired pup!

Unlikely to use again. The owners seem nice. We weren’t allowed to see the kennels on drop off which made me feel uncomfortable/suspicious - owners blamed covid but to not see any of it when it’s mostly outside?! The dog came back thin, he came back with a bad bout of kennel cough (despite being jabbed), and he came back with an injury to his leg (photo after cleaning) which the owners tried to tell me was mud - accidents happen but they didn’t seem to know about it - and he had just been bathed. And lastly, cash only?! £300 for just under 2 weeks we thought was very reasonable.

I’m really not sure about this cattery. The staff were friendly enough. They looked after my cat for 4 nights, charged me £96 though. I am concerned about how this place is representing itself as a kennel and cattery, yet there are no photos online of the cattery. When I arrived I asked to see the cattery, they wouldn’t let me as someone is on-site clinically vulnerable. Left me a bit worried. They did send photos, runs appear very basic. My cat came back having lost weight and was sick a few times on the first night. But apart from that seems to be fit and healthy. 3 stars because, although friendly, felt uneasy with lack of info about cattery.

Many, many thanks for caring for Daisy our German Shepherd this week. Woodlands is the ONLY kennel we are prepared to leave her with. Daisy is happy to just walk off with the staff, which speaks volumes. Everyone very friendly.

Recently purchased the most beautiful, Australian Shepherd puppy from Robert and Louise. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Lovely to talk to and deal with, and really couldn’t have had a better, healthier more well adjusted puppy. He’s an utter joy to all.

We have two rescue dogs, Molly and Sasha. They couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. Molly is cuddly and likes most humans but Sasha is not a fan of other humans, which can make finding somewhere for them to stay very hard. We stumbled upon Woodlands and I can honestly say that they go above a beyond. We can go away without worrying and they are not fazed by Sasha’s complex ways. We have just picked them up from their 4th stay, which was 6 days. They are both happy, well fed and Sasha’s fear of humans improves every time she goes there. You can tell that they love animals, work hard and most importantly give us feedback about the girls which we haven’t really had in other places. They are always at the end of the phone if we want to check in. We will use Woodlands every time we go away! Thanks so much for all your hard work, Laura & Aid

I have been using Woodlands for my dogs for over 5 years and always recommend them to my clients (I'm a dog groomer). Up until a couple of months ago I had never had any problems and my dogs always came back well fed, properly groomed (when requested), and happy. However, the last stay they came back from with various scrapes and cuts, and they were very anxious and skittish. Not to mention that the grooming I had paid extra for had not been done properly; when I got my dog home he was so badly matted that I ended up having to cut out the matts myself and re-groom and bathe him. He wasn't even properly clean and was very nervous about being handled which he has never been before. I recently found out from talking to some fellow dog owners who board their dogs at Woodlands that they, too, have had problems with their pets there including injuries that could not be explained, animals coming back very thin and/or dehydrated, and dogs that seemed to be quite traumatised - especially around food/resources. I don't know what's going on at Woodlands, but their pet care is no longer what it once was and I am sad to say that I will no longer be using or recommending their services.

We started boarding with Woodlands in 2017 after moving into the area. My dog had been unhappy at a previous kennel and I was so relieved when after his first boarding experience at Woodlands, he emerged happy and content. Being an American Akita, he is very intelligent and prone to stubbornness, but he jumps all over Brady when he sees him and gives him kisses, which says it all. The team has always been very prompt with communication, always keeping me informed on the first day about how my dog has settled in; as well as throughout the visit. At one time my dog developed a hot patch whilst boarding over the summer (long haired dogs are prone to this), and Brady and his team provided excellent care, rushing him to their vet and giving him the immediate necessary care. They have also come to my aid when health situations meant I needed immediate boarding, and their pickup and drop off service is excellent. Will be using for years to come. Highly recommend!

Fantastic kennels and cattery. Our family all use them for numerous cats and dogs and every time our animals have been looked after superbly. Recently my mum's cat was there and had an injury from prior to his visit. The staff looked after him amazingly well, took him to the vets when needed and kept us informed at all times. The care and attention was fabulous and the staff very considerate. Would highly recommend to all.

Unfortunately I won’t be using Woodlands again. My cat came home incredibly thin after staying here and ate about 3 days worth of food in 1 hour upon coming home. You are not allowed to see where they keep your cat and they only accept cash for some reason which is not explained. I really wanted to like this place, the reviews for the kennels are good, the staff are friendly, but something just doesn’t sit right me.

My 2 year old lab is a regular boarder at Woodlands at least 3-4 times a year all in verying degrees of length. She recognises the staff and location as soon as we approach and the tail starts wagging. I can go away with no worries knowing she is well looked after in a safe and secure envirnoment and comes home smelling wonderful after her bath. Thank you woodlands for all you do.
