My senior pup, Kaylee (9 years old), REALLY loved her first day of daycare at the Wagging Lounge! She was keen to explore and meet everyone from the minute we walked in, and she loved everyone on staff (including the men, which was pleasantly surprising given her history of meeting some other men). She’s quite independent, so she apparently spent the day dog watching and hanging out with all of the humans. The spaces are clean, the staff are friendly, and the prices are a good value. Kaylee will be coming back for a week-long stay later this year, and I know she and I are both excited about that! For now, she’s a bit tuckered from her adventure.

Our dogs, Fresca and Sydney, love Wagging Lounge! The girls howl with excitement when we turn the corner knowing where they are going. Every staff member has been very helpful and we are so thankful they take care of our girls so well. We don't have to worry about anything during the day or when we go on vacation. My husband and I love seeing the daily photos and videos showing all the pups having fun.

We love WL and have recommended it to every friend in the area that was looking for boarding or daycare! They have taken care of our doodle Tonks so well, she absolutely loves heading in for daycare and she’s always so worn out after a long day of playing with the other dogs. You absolutely can’t beat the Wagging Lounge!

Even after moving 30 minutes away, Wagging Lounge is STILL the only place we board our dogs. We love the trusted staff and dog savviness they have. They know Bear and Lily by name and are always so happy to have them boarding. Wagging Lounge deeply cares for the dogs that come and know all the ins and outs of them.

Our dog Luna loves coming here! We tried a few days of daycare prior to boarding her. We liked that the dogs are evaluated to make sure they are having an okay time before being kept and we loved her report card on her first day. When we drop her off she doesn’t even look back to us she is so excited to go play with her friends. While Luna was boarded it was also great to know her schedule and see daily photos to let us know she was doing well!

Our dog Hobbes always has a great time at Wagging Lounge! They take great care of him and he gets some socializing and exercise during the day. The boarding options are also very convenient for us. The staff are always very friendly, recognize him, and very communicative. He’s always excited to walk in the door!

I can't say enough good things about the wonderful people that work at Wagging Dog and the Kim's who own and operate it. My dogs have been coming since they were puppies and they always love a day with their friends. They always come home safe and tired and well loved and cared for. We started sending our dog, Duncan to wagging lounge when he was just a puppy! I was so nervous dropping him off because he was such an anxious pup. He absolutely loved it! We love the daily pictures and the staff take such good care of our fur baby. Our usually skittish dog has the best time! The staff at wagging lounge are extremely personable and accommodating. When my husband and I were expecting our baby in the summer they immediately made room for Duncan in their boarding schedule, as we had to quickly rush to the hospital. We love wagging lounge!!

We love sending our pup, Lisa, to the Wagging Lounge Dog Resort Of particular pawesomeness is that they post pics of her having a blast! They also make me feel like she is the coolest pup they've ever met and that they truly love her and care for her. She overcame her longstanding fear of cars after just a few trips to Wagging Dog-- I think because she started to associate the car with going to daycare! We are truly grateful for the care they take of our pup. I'm a mom of 3 human kiddos who have been in daycare, too-- and i really appreciate the special love and affection -- it is invaluable.

Barking Trails takes great care of my four-footed family member. My Cairo is a big goofball, and all of our walkers have worked wonderfully with him. I went with a service rather than paying an individual to ensure consistency in service. Barking Trails has always come through for us, even when we've unexpectedly needed additional service. They're wonderful.

Caring staff, love animals and my dogs loved them. Will use their service again. My dogs are so spoiled they don’t take to anyone. But this team of animal lovers, my dogs couldn’t get enough of them. Thank you and I will be seeing you and using your service again soon.

I have been going to Love Those Paws for cat sitting services since about 2016. They are always responsive, accommodating, and attentive. They have always followed instructions well, and leave detailed notes on how each and every visit goes. Over all these years, they have been immensely helpful for an anxious and disorganized cat mom with high maintenance fur babies.

We have been using Love Those Paws for over 10 years with our fur babies. We are very happy with them as the walkers love our Shiloh and treat her with love. They also love on our 2 cats and they love the walkers! It's such a relief to have them as they are so dependable and it's a daily relief for both my husband and I. Love Those Paws is wonderful! The staff are fantastic and they really take the time to get to know your pet before they care for him/her. We had them watch our (animal-aggressive, but people-loving) dog while we were on vacation. We even thought we left our dog outside when we left and they went out quickly to check on him (he was inside). They left little notes about each visit and made sure we came home to a clean, happy dog. Visits are a good value and fairly priced - we highly recommend Love Those Paws and will use them again!

Love Those Paws have been helping me for about 8 weeks now and I am so pleased. Never a missed appointment, and the dogs have adjusted so nicely. Their mobility has improved because of the regular walking that they weren't getting before, and they seem happy and content. All of my instructions are followed exactly. We have been using Love those Paws for nearly two years to walk our two dogs. They have been nothing less than outstanding. The owners bend over backwards to help us. Our two dogs are walked daily and we have never had a complaint about our service. They employ very caring dog walkers who really enjoy the animals. We have even boarded our dogs on a couple occasions for a very reasonable price. They are able to adjust schedules to accodate last minute needs we have due to our work schedules as well. I have been using Love Those Paws for almost seven years, and they are the best! They took care of my first dog Lulu before she passed away, then my second, Bruno and now my two Yorkies. My dogs are happy, they are well fed, and they LOVE the attention. I've been thrilled with the personalized attention given to my dog and to me. I use the service once or twice a week. Owners of Love Those Paws have done a wonderful job reminding me that it's time to schedule walk(s) for the week. They conveniently use email for this and/or will give a gentle phone call reminder when scheduling has slipped my mind. The walkers leave personalized notes after each walk and follow directions from our intake conference to a tee. The owner came to my house to meet my dog and took copious notes on his care prior to agreeing to take my dog on as a client. I felt immediately comfortable with his knowledge and care and recommended Love Those Paws to another dog owner who was in need of care for her puppy in a very short turn around time due to circumstances beyond her control. Four paws up for this company. Although my posting name is "Walker" I am not a dog walker! That refers to the Avon Breast Cancer 60 mile walk I did years ago. The 3000 participants were loving referred to, and encouraged by the name Walker:)

I have been using Love Those Paws' dogwalking service for 8 months now and it's been great! My dog was a rescue so he was very anxious and afraid of new people and I was nervous about having a dogwalking service. However, everyone at Love Those Paws knew how to best approach him and help him feel comfortable. They are reliable and truly seem to care about the welfare of the animals.

I love Everything about the Columbia Camp Bow Wow!! I love that you guys have indoor and outdoor facilities that my Comet can access on his own. I love the additional activities you offer which gives him the opportunity to have alone time with the staff cause he thrives on the human touch. I love that Camp Bow Wow offers bathing and grooming services - now my boy can have everything done under one roof and I don’t have to stress about taking him to somewhere else. Plus, as a golden doodle he’s gotten the absolute best grooming at Camp Bow Wow that he’s ever received! I’m so glad we found you guys! 🥰

I'm not the biggest fan of this place and I think you can get better value and experiences elsewhere. My main issue is the lack of enrichment (or restful) activity. Unless for a cost of course because...capitalism? In order for your dog to get any one-on-one time it'll come at a cost. Want a room with a tv? $$$$. Forget to bring a collar? $$$$$. This is a franchised company so the people at the top care less about your dogs, and more about their bottom line. My other issue is with the style of "play" for the dogs. I kept watch on my dog for an entire day while she was at daycare and not once did she get a chance to nap. There's nowhere for the dogs to take a breather away from the hoopla and the employees look incredibly bored to be there. Of course your dogs come home tired, they're probably delirious out of their minds after wandering in circles all day. For $40 there are plenty of other options in the area, heck there's a competitor next door. Can't say I recommend it here.

My big, goofy pup LOVES going to Camp Bow Wow in Columbia, and I love that he comes home worn out after a day full of play. After all, a tired dog is a good dog. The facility is staffed with friendly folks who seem to really care about the dogs. We have used them for daycare, bathing, and overnight boarding and recommend their services without hesitation.

Happy Saturday! We absolutely love and adore Columbia Bow! The customer service and love and attention they give our dog is consistently and absolutely phenomenal! Special kudos to Jen and Trish for always rockin ! Customer service …love and attention at its very best ! Strongly recommend as they have new facilities..excellent staff who provide excellent care and wonderful activities and the cameras and the pictures they share are an extra special touch …the entire Rome jr family love y’all and DJ gives extra smooches !

From beginning to end a wonderful experience. We’ve moved around and have had four groomers and three daycares as a result in the last eight years. Nothing will beat this. The first groomer that does not have a horrible time with this little challenger, and he came out so happy and calm. So clean. Great staff! The interview process was so professional and transparent. Focused on the dog and their well being. I’m so thankful we found this place. Again, Best. Groomer. Ever.

My fur baby and grand dog had an interview with Camp Bow Wow to board for 4 days. The camp offer free 1-day daycare, as part of the interview, to see if my babies' demeanors would fit in with the other dogs. The camp provides live video to observe your baby while in their care. My babies did well and I'm so impressed with the care and observation the camp employees displayed. I loved this experience. I would recommend their services for boarding and daycare without hesitation.

I don’t post reviews, but I am pretty upset about this. I am new to the area and boarded my dog for 2 nights. She is an easy, confident, well socialized dog and is used to dog daycare and has been boarded several times for as long as 10 days without any issues. When I picked her up from this facility, she had crusted diarrhea and blood in her fur, red and crusted lips, and smelled like feces and blood. We had forgotten her food at home and they did let us know she could have some GI distress with this. We were not concerned because she has tolerated abrupt food changes in the past, and the facility uses Purina which is the brand we use at home. Regardless, I get it, abrupt food changes can cause a lot of problems and that’s on us. However, nobody mentioned she was having severe, bloody diarrhea. Never had an accident in the house, and now she can’t take more than a few steps without leaking. After a $500 ER visit for rectal bleeding and dehydration, I called the facility to ask if they had an issues with her - they said no. Really? I seriously don’t know how nobody noticed between the dried poop and blood in her fur, her pooping pure liquid every 5 minutes, and the extremely potent smell. So they are either inattentive with the dogs or they are lying. I was also overcharged, asked about this, and he said he’d have a manager call me to arrange a reimbursement for the amount I was overcharged. I have not received a call.

Our 11-year-old pup has been going to camp since he was six months old, and he LOVES it. They take such great care of him, I love that I can watch him on the cameras, and he sleeps so well when he gets home!

I would caution all people considering going to do more research into this locations policies. I have taken my dog to Camp Bow Wow in another state and had nothing but positive experiences so I was looking forward to have one nearby after moving. When I got my dog home I noticed a large gash in her ear which was luckily superficial , but no employee noticed or mentioned it when i picked her up or called later (this was far larger and deeper than normal rough play scratches). There is a couple things that is different about this location. There was no introduction to the new pack of dogs just having her join all the group, which is not the end of the world since she is very socially adjusted but some dogs dont mesh so you never know. HOWEVER this place only has one worker per 25 dogs meaning there are way too many dogs to stop play if it gets too rough or pay attention to all of them. To put it in perspective all other day cares my dog has attended limits 10 or 15 per person and the recommendation by the International Boarding and Pet Care Services Association is 1 to 15 depending on temperament. Additionally their daily dog limit is 145 (on the phone they said the highest they ever had was 130) but they only have two large outdoor spaces and one small out door space plus what looked to be only one to two large dog indoor space and one for small dog meaning when I looked on the screen a single room (smaller sized room that my last location) had what I counted as over 45 dogs with only two employees. I recommend finding another daycare with more space, less dogs, or more staff because the combination of those three factors is honestly dangerous.

Our dog has enjoyed Camp Bow Wow for 8 months now and he really seems to enjoy it. We’ve used other places in the past, but prefer Camp Bow Wow because he gets to stay out in a common play area for very nearly the entire time he’s there. We also like the web cams and the fact that they don’t charge any fee for picking our dog up early. They also offer a free day if you bring in proof that your dog has been vaccinated for K9 influenza which I think is really great. It makes it a safer environment for all the dogs.

Working with Grace as our dog trainer was a fantastic experience. Her expertise and genuine love for dogs were evident from the start. Grace personalized training sessions, making them effective and enjoyable. Her clear communication, patience, and ongoing support made a significant impact. Thanks to Grace, our dog is not only better behaved but also happier. I highly recommend her as an outstanding dog trainer.

We’ve been going to Pinkie’s Play Place for grooming for about half a year now. Choco is a long-haired chihuahua and we only do outline/sanitary trim with bath/brush. They always accommodate our needs and wants. Their price is very reasonable and we’re happy with the result every time. Choco often shows fear aggression to strangers and other dogs but apparently he’s been a complete angel with everyone at Pinkie’s, which clearly shows they take real good care of him and he enjoys his time there. Everyone shows so much loved every time we visit and I’m so grateful!

Money spent wasted. Finally pulled the trigger after doing business with Heather and we are super happy. Would not trust anyone else with our dog. Wonderful business great team. Absolutely fair price and for your money she does care more about the pet than your wallet.

Wow! We have been using Pinkies for boarding for a while now. This last visit we had Rudy groomed. They did an amazing job...price was very reasonable for a large dog.

This is my dog's favorite place in the world. He goes every Thursday for day care and I better not forget. If he thinks I'm leaving the house without him he grabs his lead and brings it to me. As for grooming she does a wonderful job. He is a bouvier des flanders and he always looks wonderful after the groom. He is also so relaxed on the table that he has actually laid down and gone to sleep while being groomed

Best boarding we have ever used. The employees are very professional and they clearly cared about our dog. Not to mention they are the ONLY boarding facility that has ever offered us a tour of the entire facility. Boarding costs more than the average but the facilities were very nice and they had cameras for us to watch our dog everywhere! So it was worth the price. Our dog has never returned home from a boarding stay with this little stress! We will definitely make this our regular boarding place!

My Golden Doodle was there for grooming. I recently moved and was very nervous because that dog is my bff. Heather did a wonderful job. The cut far exceeded my hopes. The pup left happy, so he must have gotten wonderful care.

We contacted Pawwws Aboard to see if they were able/willing to watch a mini pig. Jazmin stated she had never done it but was willing to try. She came to meet him and we all felt comfortable so we booked her for 2 visits a day while we were away. She has fair pricing with multiple ways to pay. She was very communicative while we were away and sent pictures, videos, and updates during each visit. We felt at ease knowing she was there taking care of our pig. Will definitely use Pawwws Aboard again for future trips if she’s available

She is an awesome puppy sitter!! I will definitely be using her the next time my husband and I go on vacation! She sent us videos everyday for updates on our little one and she was always happy and playing. She showed our Frenchie lots of love and attention. Jaz has been amazing! Pups and I moved to Baltimore and were so lucky to have found her! Takes great care and they adore her. I have a pup that needs meds twice a day, She is very responsible and I can trust her to be on time. I travel a lot for work, wouldn’t know what to do without her!

She responded quickly that she had an opening and during our trip she sent pictures of Emma playing with a toy and Lingling playing with the puppy, Beauty. I knew they were in good hands!

I would be lost without Running with K9s. My dog has A LOT of anxiety and nervousness, and is reactive too. Anneli has gone out of her way to accommodate all of our dog’s needs and medications, she has worked with our dog at his pace, helped him conquer some of his fears, and so much more. Our dog, who has very specific and wide-spread reactivity, has fallen in love with her and is always so excited to see her. We always look forward to working with Anneli. She is the absolute best and I would be so lost without her help.

Whenever you leave your pets in the hands of someone else, you want the caretakers to love your fur babies like you love your fur babies. Well, the owner of this business and its workers truly care about and love your pets. They are knowledgeable, follow directions well, and send constant check ins and always respond to any questions or concerns. Your fur babies will be very well taken care of, and you'll get all the updates you need, and more if you want! 10/10 would recommend :)

Our rescue pup was a matted mess who has yet to learn his grooming manners. Preston’s did a great job getting him cleaned up. Not only does he look better, we can tell he feels better too without the huge matted clumps all over his body. 10/10 - Highly recommend!

I worked at Preston Country Club for Pets, and I can confidently say it was one of the most disappointing experiences of my career. The owner shows a blatant lack of care for his employees, expecting them to come to work even when they are sick. This unrealistic expectation not only compromises the health of the staff but also the safety and well-being of the pets we are supposed to care for. There is no consideration for the employees' needs or well-being, which creates a stressful and unhealthy work environment. When I was hired, I was given false information about the benefits the job offered. I was led to believe that there would be full benefits as the Craigslist stated, but none of that turned out to be true. There are no benefits at all. If you fall ill and need to call out, you can expect to be reprimanded, have hours cut, or even face other forms of punishment. The lack of any support system for employees is incredibly disheartening and demoralizing. The way the owner treats his employees is appalling. He often talks down to them, showing no respect whatsoever. There were times when he would make fun of employees just to amuse himself, which only added to the toxic work environment. It’s clear that he values control and his own amusement over the well-being and respect of his staff. Overall, working at Preston Country Club for Pets was a deeply negative experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone who values fair treatment, respect, and a healthy work-life balance.

I can't recommend this boarding facility enough! The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, and my cat was happy and relaxed when I picked him up. The facility is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for the cats to play and rest. Peace of mind guaranteed!

My dog loves this place! He plays outside, he is content in his bed, he comes home happy and energetic. The staff is caring and friendly - rates are very fair and services include bath and shuttle. I had several failures bringing dog sitters into my home, and feel much more confident with their 24/7 attention-

We’ve used Preston Country Club Kennel, Columbia, MD, for many years. I was generally okay with the service; our dogs did not seem stressed or dehydrated when I picked them up. Recently, I boarded my dog there for five days. I got a call after two days and was told that my dog was coughing. She was vaccinated against kennel cough. When I picked her up, she was coughing badly. They handed me a small bag of unknown antibiotics and vague instructions—no follow-up from them or from the attending vet. Long story short, she had pneumonia and was very sick. The hospital bill was hefty. I will not go back there; I have zero trust in them.

Great kennel and reasonably priced by dog weight. I’ve been bringing my Jack Russell here for years. I have seen a great improvement in customer service as seen in some older complaints. The 2 team members that work at the desk are always very friendly and helpful to me. They always know who my dog is without me telling them. The staff that care for the dogs seem to actually enjoy working with dogs and talk to them lovingly just like we pet owners do. They greet them and tell them they’ll moss them when they leave. My dog goes right to them when I drop off, which says it all. I can usually get him a bath on his last day at the in-house grooming salon. Very convenient.

Highly recommend! They are life savers. I forgot my dogs shots for their stay - several times- and they either coordinate for the vet to go there or a day like today . They coordinated a drop off at the vet and will pick them up later! All so I don’t have to stress. That’s GOLD in my book!

WORST place to leave your pet. I left my cat there while on vacation and was assured she would be taken care of. When I saw her after pickup, the condition of her was beyond what i expected. Her entire cage was horrendously dirty and poor condition. The entire carrier AND her spelled like pee. She was clearly spending a majority of time in her cage to the point she was sitting and laying in her own pee. Any room the carrier was placed immediately filled with a strong stench. She additionally reeked of pee. Furthermore, she lost a ton of weight from when she was dropped off and hadn't been eating. We had asked prior if they could send us either pictures +/- videos for updates and they said no. This doesn't make sense because most places do this to give the owners comfort. Eventually, two pictures were sent and I could tell something was off. Overall - this was a horrendous experience and would not recommend.

We’ve been taking our dog to Dogtopia for daycare and grooming for the last 5 years. They have been wonderful with him from his early days as a “wild man” puppy. They provide a safe environment with a balanced schedule of active time and rest time. We’ve always appreciated the way the staff share information about how the day went. It’s so reassuring leaving him with such caring folks.

We have been going to dogtopia for a year now and it is such a great organization. The staff is friendly, accommodating and provides so much love to our boy. Our pup has boarded there and it was an excellent experience. He has a complicated diet and they follow the instructions carefully and he gets lots of play time, rest time and outside time. He goes weekly for daycare and on days when he doesn't get to go he pouts and is noticeably sad. He gets baths from Laurie and her team on the regular and overall loves dogtopia. I feel so lucky that we found them because they take such good care of our fluff boy! They are lower priced then competition around and it feels like a true small business where they want to provide good service. Highly recommend.

The staff is friendly and informative, and our dog always seems to enjoy her time there, which helps keep our minds at ease while we are away. We're confident she is in good, capable, and loving hands.

Everyone from Prance Around Pet Services has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Their sitters have been so good with my animals. It's not the easiest thing to find someone willing to pet-sit a snake, but Prance Around has sitters familiar with any type of pet you may have. I wish we hadn't moved out of their service area, I have yet to find another pet sitter of their caliber. My animals and I will truly miss the team!

Prance Around Pet Services is the best! Whether they are visiting for daily walks or while you are on vacation, they are the best! My dog is blind, so it is always best for her to remain in my home instead of going into boarding. I can always count on Prance Around to show up and take good care of my girl. They write detailed notes about their visits and send the best photos of the time that they spend with my dog. It is very easy to schedule services on their website, and the owner responds quickly to texts and messages whether by phone or the chat feature on their website. Their prices are also very reasonable.

After searching and reviewing many companies that provided pet services, I came across Prance Around Pet Services. I don’t regret choosing them. The owner Joelyne was very professional and provided me with all the information and services I needed for my dog Dr. Strange. We are both very happy!

They are fantastic. Take great care of my fur baby. My apt is difficult to access isolated floors. No problem for Prance Around staff. My cat Charley's personality is, how did vet put it? Fractious with people and change. I just call her my baby Bi?&h! When I travel they send me photos and reports of my baby girl and it eases my heart knowing she well cared for in my absence. Cannot recommend them enough!!

It's given us such peace of mind to know that our two cats are so well cared-for any time we are out of town. Love, love LOVE Prance Around! They love what they do, and go the extra mile (pun intended!). They took care of our sweet "shorkie-mix" Lulu for nearly 14 years before she passed away, and gave us great advice on our new doggie, a VERY active rat-terrier bread. The owner and founder even came to our home to meet our new dog "Birdie," and recommend a harness that would help us contain our very loving but escape-artist dog. We know our pets are in the best of hands with Prance Around.

Caring and professional so far. I was a little apprehensive leaving my two new-ish kittens alone for the first time, and having a stranger come into my house, but I found these guys on a Google search they treated me and the cats very well. Being a local business with accountable owners and dedicated employees makes it worth the premium (but reasonable) price. Definitely plan on having them as my go-to cat service. Tried recommending them to a coworker today but turns out he already uses them!

Prance Around hires the best petsitters ever. No matter who they send to my home, they quickly bond with my two furkids and the daily email reports aren't just informational, they provide details that assure me the sitter really "gets" my pets. In fact, my favorite pictures of my beasts was taken by one of the petsitters. I've used this company for years and if you live in one of their service areas, you should use them as well.

Hello, I went out of town for 4 days mid January and Prance around pet services provided exceptional care for my cat Diamond. Everyday I received an email with pictures and details about how my cat was doing. She was well taken care of while I traveled. I will definitely book with Prance around Pet services again. I give them 5/5 star review.

The owners and employees are all professional, courteous, dependable, and accommodating. Everyone we have met from Prance Around Pets seems to truly love animals, and we have complete confidence our high-energy pup is in good hands during her daily walk. Our pup is always excited to see her dog walker, and tired and happy when she gets back home.
