My dogs have gone to this place to be groomed for several years. I was absolutely appalled by how I was treated the last time I brought them in for a nail trim. When I booked them, they gave me a specific time window I had to bring them in. Sure, no problem. I told them that I would have to leave to meet a contractor for a little while and was told “no problem, they can just hang out with us”. A supposed one-hour meeting with the contractor ran much later than anticipated. I called The Puppy Patch. They said no problem. THEN when I went to pick up my dogs they had the absolute audacity to add-on a full day of doggy daycare to the price of a nail trim. The dogs were only there a couple of hours. A $15 nail trim ended up costing me $107! At no point was I informed that I would be required to pay for an entire day of doggy daycare and I certainly did not give my permission for the dogs to participate in the daycare program. This is absolutely pure GREED by this business. I will never bring my dogs back there again and I strongly suggest everyone checks what they are billed and what extra charges this business tacks on!! Their greed to make a quick $92 just cost them a customer. That’s over $1,200/year of my business they won’t be getting. Bad business decision on their end.

Our family loves The Puppy Patch! Especially our ridiculously high energy foxhound. NOTHING tuckers him out like a play date with all of his friends there. The staff is wonderful and helpful. They always greet my dog so sweetly and he is always excited to go! When we had an issue with a minor injury (because dogs be dogs) they handled it very professionally and appropriately. I’d highly recommend to anyone who has a dog who is good with other dogs and wants to add enrichment to their routines!

Please for the sake of your loved puppy dog, do not take them here. - even with one good experience, they do not take care of them properly. It's very sad to see a buisness, meant to care about animals, have such a lack of respect and love for them and the clients.

I took my dog here for a grooming last week, and they did a wonderful job. She looks great. The staff was extremely friendly. I was very happy that day. I smiled big when I saw her!

I bring Tillie here for daycare a few days a week. She absolutely loves it! Drags me to the door most of the time. Staff is very friendly and it's clear they love the dogs under their watch! Haven't utilized it myself but my boss brings his dogs here for grooming and speaks highly of that service as well.

I had a great experience bringing my 21 week Portuguese Water Dog to the puppy patch for day care. The staff was very welcoming and they kept him busy. And when he got tired, they provided a place to rest. I would definitely recommend the puppy patch for daycare!

Camp Becca is the best! Finally, reliable care with people that truly care and love animals. We have several large rescue dogs and a few have special needs. They all love Camp Becca. One of them, Scarlet, is blind and very shy with everyone, but I knew Camp Becca was perfect for us when they won over Scarlet. Truly a miracle!

We love Camp Becca!!! They take care of our 2 year old dog with walks and recently she stayed overnight at Camp Becca for Thanksgiving, When the walkers leave - our dog sits by the door waiting for them to come back - she just loves them all so much. Every single person we have dealt with has treated us and our dog so well - the love and care they have for animals shines through all they do. The app for setting up appointments is easy to us which we appreciate as we are a busy family and sometimes I forget to set up things until last minute. We trust Camp Becca above and beyond - thankful we found them.

I use Camp Becca for dog walking, house sitting and grooming. They are great for all these things. They are easy to schedule appointments, their people are reliable and I always get updates. Also - Alison the groomer is excellent. My two Samoyeds are not easy to groom and she does a fantastic job. She has been the best groomer I have used.

Being a pup mom is challenging sometimes - finding the proper care is tough. I was so happy when my friend recommended Becca to watch Daphne while we went on vacation. Here is what I can report having had Becca and her team look after Daphne (my 8 lb. Maltese) on multilple occasions... She is like having your favorite cousin who you love, that lives down the street from you care for your pup. During Daphne's 5 day stay she sent videos and pictures of Daphne living her best life, I could tell just how happy she was and she clearly LOVES Becca! I had Alison the groomer wash Daphne and she came home smelling and looking fabulous! In addition to the 5 day stay we have done daycare (wonderful!) and home visits and walks (A+!) We loved our walker (Geordanne) who was also great about communication and pics. I am so grateful for Camp Becca and highly recommend. It is nice for Daphne to be able to run and play with other dogs, its a beautiful environment there. Love her.

We recently just had our first experience with Camp Becca and we’ve found our go-to for future pet help! Our pup was well cared for for a 3 night stay at Camp Becca and we loved the updates we got. We have been taking our dog Murray to Camp Becca for years, whenever we go on vacation. He is growing old and needs to feel comfortable when we are away. He LOVES Camp Becca and enjoys the company of the other dogs. He is also quite fond of Becca and Danny. They show a genuine interest in his well-being and are so kind and patient. I have used Camp Becca's petsitting services while I was on a recent vacation - my dogs stayed as overnight guests with Becca and my cats were visited and cared for by Peggy. I highly recommend both types of services. All of my animals were very well taken care of and doted on. In addition, the mail was brought in and kept everything in the house was kept tidy. I received regular updates and never worried for a second while on vacation. I will definitely be using Camp Becca's services in the future.

We’ve been using Camp Becca since Harper was still a puppy. Whenever we need somebody to walk Harper or pick Harper up from her daycare Becca and Peggy have always been there to help, even with short notice. Harper can be very stubborn at times, but Peggy has always been very patient with Harper. We’re glad we found Camp Becca. Becca and Peggy have always been a great help, their service is top notch and I would not trust Harper with anybody else but Becca and Peggy. Thank you Camp Becca!

I heartily recommend Jen's Happy Pets! We've had Spencer petsit for our 3 cats. Spencer is very reliable and very capable of dealing with challenging cat dynamics. He sent photos everyday with updates. My husband and I had complete confidence in his ability to handle all situations as they arose. Jen is an excellent communicator as well. She gets back to her clients promptly and delivers the best pet sitting services possible.

Loved Jen's Happy Place! Everything was super easy and she was quick to respond after my initial request. Jenny took care of my three cats and did an amazing job! All my cats are very different and different ages and I was so nervous about leaving them, but the care they received was amazing!

I have been using Jen’s Happy Pet’s for several years on a regular basis. Lexi is our regular dog walker and she goes above & beyond for our fur baby, Daisy! She treats Daisy like her own & I am always at ease when I know Daisy is being cared for by Lexi. Recently, we had Lexi take care of Daisy while we were away & although I hate leaving my dog behind, I felt so comfortable knowing that she was getting so much love & attention. Lexi provides us with pictures during each visit, which is always a special treat mid-day when I get a break at work. My experience with Jen’s has been great from the first contact with her business. We were new to the area last summer and were referred to her by several neighbors and pet stores in the area. I moved back into the Hunterdon County area in February 2024 with a Golden Retriever puppy named Beans; she was less than 4 months old at the time. Being I had to work full-time, I prayed that the perfect walker would come into her life and love her as their own. I was referred to Jen's Happy Pets. Well, even writing this now brings me tears. Jen, the owner, took the time to listen to the needs of my situation and empathized with the challenges of raising a puppy on my own. She promised she would pair me with the perfect fit. Jen's team exceeded my expectations. Jen paired me with TWO fantastic, loving, compassionate, responsible, caring, playful, respectful, and kind individuals; Nik and Mare. Jen, Mare, and Nik loved Beans as their own. Beans loved her second family; as I called them. On September 15th, 2024 my whole world changed; Beans went into the hospital and died on September 18th; being less than 1 year old. The team continued to shower me with empathy and love; bringing me food, flowers, and still continually check up on me to make sure I am doing ok. The pain of Beans' death is unexplainable and having a team like Jen's Happy Pets helps my sad days. I feel blessed that Beans' was surrounded by such an amazing extended family during her short time here, and that Beans helped me to meet all these wonderful people. Although, I am not ready for another puppy yet; I will absolutely be calling on them to help with my second; if that becomes my reality someday. Zoe’s Sophisticats Stay: A Purr-fect Getaway Leaving Zoe, our energetic Abyssinian, for a three-night stay at Sophisticats felt like sending her to a luxury resort. Sophisticats isn’t just a place to board cats—it’s a home-away-from-home where every detail is designed to make your cat feel happy and cared for. Lisa, the owner, greeted us warmly as ever and remembered Zoe right away from our last visit. She even had notes on what Zoe loves—like cozy perches and wand toys. That thoughtful detail made us feel like Zoe was already part of the family there and instantly put us at ease. Sophisticats’ setup is truly impressive. Zoe stayed in one of their spacious, multi-level townhouses. Lisa made sure Zoe had an extra-soft blanket to burrow into (she knows how much Zoe loves doing that) and placed her favorite toy right where she’d find it. It was like setting up Zoe’s own little apartment. The daily updates were probably my favorite part. Every morning, Lisa sent photos and a little story about what Zoe had been up to. One day, she told us that Zoe adored the top perch in her townhouse, where she could watch the other cats play. Apparently, Zoe loved being an observer! Lisa has an amazing knack for understanding what each cat needs. Since Zoe is so curious and full of energy, Lisa ensured she had plenty of supervised playtime with fun toys and puzzles. She even played soft classical music in the background to keep the environment calm. We would never have thought of doing something like that! At the end of Zoe’s stay, Lisa sent us home with a summary of her visit. She let us know how Zoe ate, what her favorite activities were, and even mentioned Zoe’s “talkative streak” (she loves to chat). It’s those little touches that make Sophisticats so special. Thank you, Lisa and the Sophisticats team, for taking such wonderful care of Zoe! She came home relaxed and happy. It’s comforting to know that when we need to be away, we have a safe and stimulating environment to leave our precious family member.

What a great experience! Lisa is a true cat whisperer and she knows how to handle her furry guests. She took care of my old grump for 10 days. During his stay she was sending updates and pictures every other day. The place is clean and spacious. She even has soft music playing for the cats. She truly cares about her customers and I could not ask for more.

We toured a few places by our home before deciding to board our kitten with Lisa who is an hour drive away but SO worth it!!! No words can express enough how grateful we are to find someone so gentle and so caring. No pictures can justify just how clean and beautiful the hotel is in person. Lisa sent updates while we were away for two weeks and as first timers boarding there it calmed all nerves and allowed us to fully enjoy being away, fully trusting her with our fur baby. I was extremely nervous about going on vacation with my special needs cat. My cat is small, gentle, and fragile, and was concerned about how she would take to us being away and her being in a new location. After two back-to-back vacations, I was worried for no reason. Lisa greeted us with open arms and accommodated my cat's routine and multiple medications. My cat had an individual spacious condo with daily individual playtime. The place was calm and clean. The other cats in her care seemed content and happy! I received daily updates, and it put me at ease to see how happy my cat was. When I brought her home, she settled right back into her routine. I will be using Sophisticats for my next long trip or weekend getaway!

We have left our cat with Lisa a number of times, in stays ranging from 4 to 12 days. Our cat is well taken care of and now thinks of this place as a second home. The best thing is that when she returns home, her behavior is exactly the same as usual, happy and relaxed. We feel very secure in the knowledge that our fur baby is well taken care of when we are away. Another bonus, there are no dogs here. Highly recommended!

Customer service sub par decided to board elsewhere. Lady who picked up the phone spoke in a very monotone and flat voice, seemed very annoyed that I called in the first place and did not seem to know how to answer my questions either. I hope the person who hired her knows what they’re doing. As someone who also worked in the customer service industry, she embodied everything that you do not want to do when you pick up the phone.

I have only boarded my cat once before and for a short amount of time and was a wreck leaving him. I found Lisa and met with her before it was time to board my cat and my worries immediately went away. When the time came, she was so thorough and understanding of my concerns and made sure to address every one of them! She sent me updates with pictures every day and it was evident that my cat was in the best hands while I was away. I can’t recommend Lisa enough!!

My daughter had an emergency situation over Labor Day weekend and we had called many places to find someone who could take care of my daughter's three cats. Lisa said she could take them in as long as they were up-to-date on their immunizations. Lisa and her staff took wonderful care of the kitties. I am thrilled with the quality of personal. loving care that Green Acres provides. We just returned from a week away, and our lab had an amazing time. The facility is beautiful, clean, and set up for the best possible care. On our vacation, we were able to check in with Lauren and she sent photos and we even face-timed with our boy. Green Acres is the best place to care for your dog. Lauren is amazing - she is extremely responsive and provides pics of my dog all the time. I had never boarded my 12-year old dog, and called everywhere to find the perfect open space where he had friends to play with all day and a safe place to sleep. Lauren lives right on the property so you really have piece of mind. Look no further - Green Acres is great.

Green Acres Pet Resort definitely exceeded any expectations I had. Had to board our dog last minute, and I had heard amazing things about it there. Lauren, the owner, was extremely kind and responsive to our situation and made accommodations to take my dog. You couldn’t want anywhere better for your dog- the resort sits on beautiful land and dogs are able to be free and run during the day. Our pup came back to us happy and tired. 10/10, will be using Green Acres for any future boarding needs.

We are so grateful for Green Acres Pet Resort. Our baby was kept so happy and safe while he was there. He was very happy to see us when we returned but then happily went back to the back of the shop to have his fleece dried after his bath. He had just seen us for the first time after a week and still happily walked off with Lauren for his blow dry. That spoke volumes to me. He felt safe and happy! That means everything to me! Further, Lauren was very responsive via phone and iPad message with updates and pictures/video. I can’t say enough about how happy we are with this experience!! Lauren really understands what it means to leave your pet in the care of someone else. Five stars, all day!!

I can't say enough about Greenacres and Lauren! She goes above and beyond. She treated our dogs like they were her own. Kept us updated with photos and videos and when she described each dog, how their day was and their personality...totally nailed it! She clearly spent lots of time with each of them. Plenty of play time, socializing with other dogs, and extra walks/treats. The facility is beautiful and the dogs have plenty of room and fresh air. We will definitely be going to Greenacres again and highly recommend it to our friends and family!

I’ve been hiring Tom / Paw Sitters for the last 2 years to help look after my pup! His services are incredible, my pup absolutely loves him and I can see that he’s truly created a lasting bond with my pup. Had a great experience boarding my big dog here for several days. Clean place, conveniently located & excellent communication during setting up the stay and when I checked in along the way to see how my girl was doing. Highly recommend.

Our female GSD has spent several nights and days here and she always seems excited to go back each time. They’ve been inexpensive, friendly, and knowledgeable with her. She was severely mistreated and injured at another pet resort in Hillsborough NJ and folks at Club Canine took the time to make sure she was comfortable and a good fit. We’re happy we found these great people. I believe they have a great deal of experience with GSD breed, which is important to us.

They have a way with dogs, you can very much tell they've been working with dogs for many years. Had ours boarded there for 7 days and the whole process was easy and stress free!

I take my female German Shepherd here whenever I have to board her, which is not very often. I researched local kennels before chosing Club Canine, and this is the only kennel she's ever been to. What other kennel takes your dog it several times daily. When I picked her up a few wks ago, Courage had had a bath, both she and her dog bed smelled great. My daughter was miffed that Courage loved her handler so much. What more could you ask for? Discount for cash payment? Yup, that too. I highly recommend Club Canine. Make sure you have a record of vaccinations. I use South Branch Vet. The two places are almost next door to each other. South Branch takes a picture of your pet, then gives you an ID card with all Vacs and dates listed to carry on your wallet. Easy Peasy

Janry Pet Resort made me and my 20lb shorkie new customers since going to them 5 years ago. Cocoa is a loveable dog that does not like groomers as does many dogs. Previous groomers wanted me to sedate Cocoa to calm him down which I am against. Groomer LeAnn at Janry is a professional and from day 1 has never asked me to sedate my dog. She said there was no need to. He doesn't bite. LeAnn does a fantastic job grooming Cocoa. I don't have to tell her what I want because she's a professional and knows what that type of dog should look like groomed. Thank you LeAnn/Janry

The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about the well-being of every dog in their care. The facilities are top-notch, with spacious play areas both indoors and outdoors, ensuring that even the most energetic pups have plenty of room to run and play. I only wish they would provide daily photos / updates or have cameras to watch the pups like some daycares do. My dog comes home tired and happy after a day at Janry, and I can't thank the staff enough for the love and care they provide. My crazy Bernedoodle Winnie started daycare twice a week at Janry and I couldn’t be happier! As a first time dog, mom, I was super apprehensive about sending her somewhere, but I am so glad we did. Every time I drop her off at Janry her tail just wags nonstop. It is so reassuring, knowing that the staff takes such good care of her and gets her nice and tired for me at night! We also utilized their lodging and couldn’t be happier! The on staff Groomer is also amazing, I had a really hard time finding someone who could cut a doodle properly and Liane is very talented. There are so many great things I can say about this place , If you haven’t Brought your furry baby to janry yet you need to see for yourself , the grounds are well kept always, the animals have a beautiful safe area to explore and have fun , the staff greets each dog by name and shows love and affection to all. Plus they have a grooming area which my pup Hasn’t experience yet but we are planing too . Janry Pet Resort has been such an amazing place for my dog to spend time at. From daycare to boarding, their service is top of the line. I was so nervous for my dog's first time boarding, but Janry gave me tons of confidence that my boy was happy, safe and not missing us at all. Their facilities offer endless fun for my pup, I highly recommend any of their services. EDIT: I have now been using Janry’s services for almost a year - Best. Facility. Ever. My pup gets so excited even just hearing their pre-recorded message when I call to get him in to daycare. Attentive and caring. What a great experience. Before talking to one of their agents, I was concerned it might be more expensive than I was looking for. It turns out their fees are quite reasonable, and even lower than someone than some local "professionals ". I had a bad experience with a dog caretaker before. Nothing that belongs here, but due to that experience I spent a great deal of time looking for the right place. The right place for me is one that caters for the animals. Takes good care of them. Good and clean lodging, proper handling, socializing with other dogs and with humans. Loved to get pictures of my pup in nature hikes and walks, and in group play. For me, this is the right place for my dog.

My sister and I boarded two 10 mo. old goldens for 2 weeks in June. They were rescues (adopted them at 6 mos), and we had our concerns about possible regression in their behavior as they were just starting to feel secure in their forever homes. The grounds were beautifully manicured & the workers were doggie lovers. The love displayed was overwhelming, I knew immediately this was the facility to leave my pup worry free. Anxiety ridden leaving both my dogs for 2 weeks, especially Oscar who takes daily meds for Epilepsy, but worked out great! Both dogs were absolutely happy and healthy when returning home obviously extremely well cared for and loved. Four Paws is a family owned and operated small business and the ONLY one we trust with our furry loved ones. We never feel guilty going away since we know our pups will be having a great time. They’ve made simple and sensible adjustments to booking and checkin since covid and always care about the safety and security of visitors. Easy login process and can update dogs’ profile histories and submit vaccination updates easily. The facility is nice and clean, the employees are kind and seem to love their work, and our dogs love staying here. Added bonus is getting to see pictures of them enjoying their stay. Our dog Lilybelle gets so excited to go here in the morning. She waits by the door with her leash in her mouth. She loves playing with her friends, the four legged and the two legged. They take such good care of her. She would go every day if she could. We bring her 2-3 times every week. She comes home happy and tired every time. Four Paws Playground is literally the ONLY place that I trust my Australian Shepherd fur daughter Remi with! We used to live in the area and she would attend when I would be away for periods of time. We moved a little farther away, and we used Four Paws on an everyday basis for their daycare program while I was at work. Now we are even farther away (1+hour) and we continue to trust Four Paws with our baby during our vacations. The staff is AMAZING! They care for her as though she is their own dog. I never have to worry about her wellbeing or how she is cared for. Remi enjoys people more so than dogs, and the staff is always willing to play her favorite games (hose jumping) and they ensure she is bathed for me upon pick up time. Since Four Paws was our first experience with a doggie daycare/boarding center, we have been spoiled! The family owned business is devoted and honest with their customers. Their prices are almost TOO reasonable for the care that the fur children are given! Thank you Four Paws for all of the love and attention you give Remi when I cannot do so personally. I have so much respect and gratitude for the owners and all of the staff. Even though we are farther away, I am glad that there is a place where I can feel comfortable leaving Remi in their care! We have been bringing our furbabies to Four Paws Playground for quite some time however today I felt moved to add a review. As I'm sure you all know people get busy around the holidays and things get set aside until remembered or forgotten until too late. Well this morning I got a call from Four Paws just checking because we normally book a stay for our furbabies to be comfy and cozy with their doggie friends and the excellent staff to play with while all the rushing around takes place but we hadn't booked yet. They wanted to let us to know if we wanted a spot that we would be all set!! Thank you Four Paws Playground for covering my bases for me!! You guys are the best! I know that our dogs will be so excited when we say "do you want to go to Four Paws?" as they always are.

We have been taking our puppy for doggy daycare while we work since he was a few months old! He loves going and I love knowing that he is socializing with other dogs and people all day instead of sitting at home in a crate. I would highly recommend Four Paws to anyone and everyone. We haven't needed to yet but would 100% board him there overnight and feel confident he is in really good hands!

Very disappointed about the unprofessional staff. I called yesterday for information as a new client, I was told I could come in for an evaluation day today. I asked if I needed any additional information formation, documents. I was told just come in during the office hours. I had the vaccination record with me of course. When I arrived with my pup, I was turned away, citing that they need me to sign up online from my computer first then they can schedule a day for a first evaluation day. Very disappointed about this unprofessional service. Please educate your staff how to answer the phone and what information to give.

We have never experienced a doggie daycare and boarding facility like this. The staff is courteous and caring. Our puppy Charlie has been going to doggie day care and has been boarded for 10 days at a time. Every experience that Charlie has had must been great, because he always looks forward to going back. The team helped take care of my dogs, chickens, cats, birds, plants and house while I was away. I can’t say enough about how great they all were. I’ve never left my dogs or home in the care of strangers and was worried, but after meeting the ladies prior to my trip, I felt very comfortable leaving everything in their care. I came back to happy dogs, living plants and they even vacuumed a mess my birds made. Who does that!? So nice! They also provide an update and photos with each visit. Laura, Andrea, dayle and the rest of the team were AMAZING. So lovely to work with and they took such great care of Thor (German shepherd), and pumpkin and Cleo (cats) while my parents were on vacation. Definitely recommend them!! We made a ridiculously last minute care request, but they willingly adjusted, and came out and met with us and our pet, and then cared expertly for our home and puppy while we were gone. On a first note I want to say this company will sit/care for reptiles and amphibians while you're away! Read on for further details. I used their pet sitting service when my husband and I went for our honeymoon. Now it was really hard to find sitters for us because we have reptiles that require live insects and specific care. But this team was amazing and had no issue dealing with living dubai roaches, dusting said roaches and feeding all of our animals (which included a Veiled chameleon, Australian green tree frogs and a Pacman frog) and taking care of our breeder roach colony. We came home to happy and healthy animals and got updates. Their service was reasonably priced and high quality.

Steve was AMAZING! He took such great care of my brother’s dog like if he was his own! Pictures and video everyday to update us and give us peace of mind. He is so genuine and caring, I would not hesitate to take our dogs to him!

Perfect! Steve has impeccable timing; he answered our first call fast and was even able to sit my puppy for almost three days at last minute. He gave frequent check ins through videos, photos, and messages. He always responded quickly. Steve has three dogs and they made my puppy feel so comfortable. My puppy's never been around dogs so up close before and for so long but she was able to play with them and even sniff them! My puppy's also not a huge fan of adults but she adored Steve and his partner, Randy. Their house and backyard was the perfect space for a puppy's vacation. It was like they gave her V.I.P. service! Steve gave her plenty of love, affection, toys, and treats! Definitely an amazing and wonderful first experience with a pet sitter. 10/10 will certainly come back again :)

Me and my husband used Steven’s doggy services to look after our 3 cats while we had a vacation in Italy for a week. He went above and beyond everyday and even sent photos and videos to us. I can’t say enough great things about Steven and his way with my dogs! My 2 dogs are dog aggressive and Steven has helped me tremendously over the last 6 months get them to be calm and not go into attack mode when other dogs pass. We have used Steven's services a few times with our beloved cat Georgie. Being that George has severe separation anxiety, we worry about him on the frequent business trips we must take. Steven's care seems to do something a little extra to make our boy seem happier then when we left him. Prior to his service, asking family members or friends to tend for him, he seemed very distressed and a bit "destructive" when we returned. Since using Stevens, he has seemed much happier when we returned, has greatly reduced his destructive "incidents", and overall seems like a happier cat.
