Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.
Anant was a great sitter and a friendly guy. Kept me up to date re his arrival and with Marie & Toulouse during the sit. Found my house exactly as I had left it. Would highly recommend Anant to other pet parents.
Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier. She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )
Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.
Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working. We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime. Our whole family hopes to see her again-either for a visit and/or for a sit :) Thank you, Thank you, Melissa!!!
Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. If he comes back to the Uk and we require a sitter we will contact him first. Well done Jacob.
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.

We have been using Robinwood Kennels for our dog TJ and I have to say I think sometimes when I go to pick him up he doesn’t want to come home. Seriously he seems to know when we are heading there to drop him off and he gets so excited! They have always been extremely flexible with getting him in last minute as well as scheduling fairly far out for future trips. TJ comes home happy every time- he gives them 2 paws up!!
We have used Robinwood for our dog for the past 8 years. Never had any issues and always professional. The owner Joe is a great guy.
Our sweet pup, Jewels, had a great time at Robinwood Kennel while we were away for our family vacation. She seemed to be her usual happy self upon picking her up which was as a good indicator she had felt comfortable with her stay at the kennel! Would definitely recommend this family owned business!
I was not happy with my service at all is a complete understatement. Myself and my mom took our dogs there for the weekend Thursday- Monday so we could go on a trip. We measured out how much food we typically feed them and put it in their own containers. They returned back more than half of their food showing they didn’t feed our dogs enough. Our dogs are also trained not to pee unless they are outside (especially because i work 12 hour shifts). Their beds and blankets were completely saturated in urine and when let out of the kennel they wouldn’t go near the workers. We had to give all of the dogs baths because they smelled like urine. Safe to say if you want your dogs traumatized send them here. P.S. The workers are very unprofessional. He said he wouldn’t miss one of our dogs because her bark was loud and annoying. Sure you may not like every dog but you don’t say that stuff to the owners.
This is by far one of the worst experiences. First let me start by saying, this boarding facility was highly recommended. The pictures upon reviewing looked so nice. Well, that's where it ends. The pictures they show with the sprawling hills and house and land are not used for boarding!. These poor dogs are in a shed. The stalls are filthy, the dogs are crammed in tight and there is definitely no grass and hills for the dogs! I was appalled by the accommodations for these animals! These people should be ashamed of themselves running this "business".
We love Robinwood Kennel and so does our dog. We can tell because he gets so excited when we turn on Robin Lane. (Not like going to the Vet!) We have been taking Logan to Robinwood for years. He isn’t always comfortable around men but he loves Joe (and Carol, too). Because Robinwood is owner-operated, we feel secure in knowing that he is always getting the best care. They stay on top of his special diet (including treats) and, now that he is older, his medical needs too. He is always clean and happy when he leaves but he does mope a bit after getting home. We never worry about Logan when he is at Robinwood and we recommend them without reservation.
Our dog Mums really likes staying at Robinwood Kennels and when we occasionally have to board her somewhere else out of town that's not the case. She is always happy when we pick her up, not anxious or scared and that matters more than anything. We have been bringing Mums to Robinwood for many, many years and as long as Joe and Carole are still in business we will continue to do so. They both clearly love the animals they care for, the setting is beautiful and off the beaten track while only a few miles from NKU. We drive from Cincinnati to board Mums at Robinwood because we value the time and energy they spend caring for our dog, their rates are more than reasonable, reservations are easily made and I don't quite know how to explain it but Robinwood has a distinct vibe and spirit that we love! See you next time Carole and Joe!
We have been taking our dogs to Robinwood Kennel for well over 15 years. We have always been confident that they are given excellent care and attention throughout their stay. The owners and their love of animals has always been comforting. We are grateful to have a wonderful place to send our animals when we are away.
Robinwood is a great family-owned kennell service Both of my dog's Luna and Gracie we're allowed to stay in the same run. When we got back after a week, they were happy healthy and glad to see us. Finally found a good place that was affordable. yes
We boarded our dogs for 1 night. The owner Joe is a very nice who went out of his way to make sure we were on schedule to our trip to Florida. Great communication there. Dogs were happy, safe and comfortable. We definitely would choose Robinwood again!
I'm thrilled to have discovered Watch Your Dog Daycare! Their kennel-free, small, and locally owned facility has exceeded my expectations. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing top-notch care. Their services are impressive: - Luxurious baths and trims - Fun playtime and socialization - Secure and comfortable facilities What sets them apart is their dedication to creating a home away from home atmosphere. They understand the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for our fur babies. Watch Your Dog Daycare has earned my trust and loyalty. If you're seeking a reliable, loving, and fun daycare experience for your dog, look no further! They deserve a 5-star rating and more!
My dogs love coming here and the staff treat them all very well. They've recently added the ability to groom dogs and it's so nice to be able to drop my dogs off. Know that they're going to be cared for. Played with and come home smelling clean and groomed.
Well bowbow is loving it he connected with so many new furry friends he jus howls in his sleep an as one would expect up at the crack of dawn 🤔 ready to roll! Now come see if your thinking of your lil being alone at home no no bring'm with you to visit as beware now cause lil fellers not go want to leave as I'ma saying this has been a long time coming for this area to have such a fine tuned operation set up as this one it's a 10++++ come one come all we all need a friend so does our lil buddies! So go chk this place out! An meet the owner they are Great! No hair they dnt care..
This place is AMAZING! I've boarded my dog there several times in addition to taking him for daycare while I work. The first time I boarded him for the weekend the only other dogs staying were very large breed and Sam in small, so the owner took him home with her to spend the weekend with her small dogs. Sam LOVED it!!! I can't recommend more highly!!!
I love this place! The staff take such good care of all the dogs equally. It’s clean and well kept. I know I can always trust that my dog will be loved on and cared for when they are there. 10/10 recommend!
I have been taking my little Bassett hound since she's was little. She loves it! She is so happy to go every morning. In fact, on days we don't get to go she often sits and cries at the door wanting you go see her friends. The workers truly love the dogs! They treat them like their own. Sometimes I think they spoil her more than I do. The best thing is the peace of mind that I have going to work long 12+ hour days knowing she is safe, happy and loved! Try this place your dog will thank you!!!
I cannot sing Missy and Debbie's praises enough! They are such wonderful ladies and the best at watching my fur baby, scheduled or unscheduled. They handle a lot of dogs with ease and she definitely looks loved and so happy while at the day care. I love being able to check in on the cameras and watch my crazy girl playing all day! This is the place for your dog to be whether you need to run errands, a break for them to play while you work from home or an every day need.
I cannot say enough great things about Watch Ur Dog Daycare. Missy, the owner, is just the sweetest woman. You can tell she truly loves your dog(s) as her own. There is no one I trust more than her to take care of my babies if we need to go anywhere or if they just need a fun day out of the house. We are so grateful we found this daycare!
The owners treat your dog like family. They call and text to see how they are doing, they celebrate big milestones (holidays and birthdays) and they are 100% transparent. The cameras allow you to peek in on your dog during the day when you miss them. They are truly kennel free which is why we switched to them after a horrible experience at another daycare. Our bernedoodle is so happy when we pull in and comes home worn out! Win-Win!
Despite having 3 legs, my young German Shepherd needs a lot of exercise. When my kids started remote learning, I just didn’t have the time I needed to take him on long walks or to the dog park. As a result, he became very destructive at home. Out of sheer frustration, I started taking him to WatchURDog. He loves it! He gets out of the house, gets plenty of socialization and exercise and comes home exhausted. Watchurdog was just going to be a temporary solution as my kids were home, but even after they returned to school, I still bring him to daycare a couple times per week. Missy and Debbie seriously love each dog as their own. I love getting pictures of him throughout the day and that I can check in on him on the cameras to watch him play with his friends. I even boarded him with them when I needed to leave town very last minute. I love that I have this resource now! I’ve recommended WatchUrDog to all my friends and family!
We’ve been using this kennel for about 1 1/2 years and our dogs seem to love it. The staff communicates well and are responsive to our dog’s needs. We’re going to try doggy daycare next for our young doodle. When we have to go out of town, it’s comforting to know that our dogs will be taken care of well!
I really don't want to write this review because I want to keep the best kept secret of dog boarding in Cincy to myself. Alas, A Dogs Life is too good of a facility and people and cost to not let other people know. I've been taking my two large dogs here for over a year, and they are always happy when they get there and happy when they leave. The staff pays attention to detail, especially when we started boarding our nervous second dog, they watched over him the whole time. In addition the staff is responsive, flexible on availability and have SUNDAY pick up! It's not a fancy dog spa facility, but my dogs do not need a TV, or a spa. They need an attentive staff who care for the animals every day and that is what Dawn and her team do. I highly recommend!
A Dog’s Life is incredible! Dawn, the owner loved what she does and you can tell her staff feel the same. They are so kind and they are wonderful with all the dogs. With a pup that has a lot of energy, A Dog’s Life has been an a absolute blessing. It’s a great feeling to drop her off and know she’s going to have a dog’s best day!
I should have known better than to pick the cheapest daycare in the area but all the good reviews had me hopeful. When I started taking Buddy earlier this year we had no issues. He’s a high energy boy but very dog/people friendly and has completed obedience class. One day a worker told me he was “a big problem” and “always causing fights to break out”. They assured me however that he was not aggressive, just “too playful.” This was the first I heard of any problem and it sounded like it was withheld from me for a while. The next time I picked him up a different worker told me he just has a problem with one dog that he’s “infatuated with”. I was getting 2 different stories. They suggested a trainer and socializing him at dog parks more. This didn’t sound like my dog, but I believed them and agreed to their suggestions. I continued to see no bad behavior when I took him to dog parks and the trainer I used also saw no problems and hinted that the workers just don’t know how to handle him and redirect him. A few weeks later I decided to bring him back. Within 1 hour of drop off I got a call I needed to pick him up now. They said “he’s playing too much” and the dogs he’s playing with are “not playful and are picky” I asked why he’s being punished for playing too much (is that not one of the main purposes of daycare?) and why it’s his fault these dogs aren’t playful. I wasn’t given a real answer but went to pick him up. When I got there I was not determined to argue, as I can’t prove to them what I know to be true, that’s he’s a good dog who would do well at any other daycare in town. I just asked if I would be refunded for the day as he was there for less than an hour. The owner Dawn said no because they “worked too hard in that hour” I then asked if they could just charge for a half day (per their policy this is a stay less than 5 hrs). They still said no. I was shocked. At this point they were just being spiteful. A few days later I did get a full refund so I don’t know why they acted so rude and unreasonable. I truly believe these workers are lazy and incapable of handling a high energy dog. I think Dawn is taking the side of the other dogs who’ve been there longer over my dog although he did nothing wrong. They apparently don’t have a way to separate high energy and low energy dogs and should be more upfront about their limitations at the beginning. They also don’t have cameras so who knows what is really going on there. I’m so glad my boy will never again have to step foot in a place where he is not loved or accepted. I would not recommend bringing your dog here.
My doodle and I love A Dog's Life. They were so accommodating when we moved to Cincy 3 months ago. I can tell they watch and take care of my baby and make sure he is happy when he stays with them. I get a report anytime I ask with details of what he has done and who he has played with - which I love!!! Our move was difficult for my pup and they made sure his transition was as smooth as possible. He now gets super excited anytime I tell him we are going. It's super clean and friendly and all the employees are friendly and inviting. We are so glad we found "A Dogs Life"!!!!
We love taking our baby here! It is very obvious the whole team loves and cares for our pup like she is one of their own! As soon as I walk in, Stella runs to whomever is working with such excitement!
There is no other place we would take our dogs! They love daycare and the employees really care about the experience every dog has. It is not the most beautiful of entries, but don’t let that fool you. Our girls have tried, nearly, every boarding and daycare facility on the east side. A Dog’s Life is the only place they forget about me and run in to.
I left my dog for boarding for the first time ever this week. This place was a great choice. Booking her was easy, and the girl was super sweet and genuine. It shows that they love dogs. And I could tell my girl had a good time when I picked her up! If I am ever back in an office, I will consider day care for sure and I wouldn't hesitate to board here again.
This is the best daycare! Dawn and her staff love the dogs and treat them like family. It is such a comfort knowing my dog is in good hands here. I also use them for boarding and haven't had a moment's worry leaving my dog overnight here.
Dawn and her staff are fantastic. We have run the gamut on dog daycares over the past decade and couldn't be happier with A Dogs Life. Our Bobo went to daycare there every Monday until his recent passing. We couldn't even mention the word "daycare" without him crying at the door, wanting to go be with his friends. We recommend them for both daycare and boarding. They took great care of our older girl who only did boarding there. We are so thankful for all of them and their sincere care for all the dogs!
Our Golden Retriever puppy stayed with Puppywood Anderson for 4 nights and 5 days while we were on vacation and she loved it! They have cameras, so you can watch your pup play while you’re away. We had a great customer experience and will board with them again shall we ever need to!
I feel comfortable leaving my dogs here. I have used them for several years. The staff is very nice and seems to genuinely like my pets. The prices are reasonable. Located on Beechmont Ave and is not too difficult to get in and out of there.
Took my Pepper in to get groomed and Missy did an INCREDIBLE job! Pepper gets nervous easily, but Missy had a way with her and I knew I left her in good hands at drop off.
Everyone at Puppywood is helpful and kind, whether on the phone or in person. Our dog Dakota comes back happy (and exhausted 😄) from her stays at Puppywood. She loves getting a bath the day she comes home as well. Just an overall wonderful, loving pet environment! …
I honestly can not say how great this place is!!! If I could have given them 10 stars, I most certainly would have!!!! After suffering a life altering injury, they have been taking care of my Bob for close to a month!!! They truly love all of their furry friends!! They are absolutely AWESOME!!!! Everyone!!!! I can never thank them enough!!!! God bless you all!!!! I will tell everyone how great you are!!!!!
The Anderson folks are fantastic. Our dog loves going to daycare and we use them without hesitation for boarding. The customer service at Puppywood-Anderson is what we all hope we will get in a concierge service. Highly recommend.
They're were willingly too good above and beyond the call of duty for me and my dog and we were brand new customers. I will for sure use them again and My dog gives a 2 paws up rating and he's pretty picky.
Today I could tell our little pups were especially unhappy about staying home as I prepared to leave for an appointment. I was able to book a last-minute half-daycare session at Puppywood. We call it Playcare. When it’s been too cold or rainy to meet up with other dogs and play outside, if I can splurge on some extra fun-time for the puppies I take them to Puppywood. The staff there are kind and knowledgeable and have a can-do attitude about my special requests. Today they needed a couple of biscuits from the reception desk to tide them over ‘til their next meal, no problem. Thanks, Puppywood! They were very happy and tired so they took a nice nap when they got home.
Puppywood Anderson is the BEST! My dog Piper has been going to twice per week daycare for around 8 months, has been groomed with Missy twice, and boarded a couple times. We are so impressed with the care Piper has received every time. She is skiddish and anxious by nature, and she LOVES it there. She literally bounces up and down by the door when she finds out she gets to go to daycare that day.
I have been taking my dog here regularly for months for daycare and he absolutely loves it! He gets so excited when we pull in the parking lot and it is all I can do to keep him from launching out of the car while still buckled in. He is worn out and content when we come home - this has made obedience class so much more successful! We recently started using their grooming services as well and they are attentive to what I want for Ike each time. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful - Sammie is especially kind and treats Ike as if he were her own!
