I have taken my 2 beagles for day care on several occasions. They pull me to hurry up and get inside. They have made lots of new doggy friends and enjoy being outside in the big enclosed area. You can tell Brian and Alex really love dogs and max and Sally are very comfortable around them. We took them there when we went on vacation for a week. We had never left them overnight. Brian sent me updates with pictures everyday which allowed us to relax and not worry. I highly recommend Furry Feet Pet Resort. Our experience there has been excellent. We are definitely going back. 😀

We brought our dog here for a weekend when our normal place was fully booked and have made the switch fully. We’ve started using them for day care and for longer boarding and our dog has a great time every time. He loves the free roam of the place, and we love that they have super flexible hours and send updates throughout the day. Absolutely recommend!!

Me and my dogs LOVE IT HERE ! There’s not a day that goes by where they don’t come home absolutely worn out there’s plenty of picture updates and all the staff is amazing 👏! You will DEFINITELY NOT regret brining your dog here . There’s tons of love to go around and a huge backyard too . They understand that every dog is different and your dogs needs will all be met .

Oh my goodness, we hav found THE perfect boarding care for Kate and Leo! Brian, Alex and the team do a magnificent job with all the dogs! I was apprehensive to leave them for two weeks in a band new place. I worried for no reason. I loved getting photos every day of the dogs. They were treated like royalty. We will be using them from now on.

Brodie's 1st visit was for a nail trim because my vet couldn't do it (twice!). I was more than pleased with the care Brodie was given and decided to try daycare. He had a great time and I was sent pictures to prove it! 🙂 His next time will be for an over night visit and I'm sure he'll enjoy himself then too! HIGHLY recommended this business because the staff REALLY cares about your fur babies!

We are helicopter parents to our three pugs. These guys do boarding and day camp right. Our trio of pugs (three amigos) have been here for boarding twice and they had the best time. Totally recommend.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Your dog will get to socialize, within their limits. They are not cooped up in kennels and the staff is SUPER friendly and will send you photos if you’re a worrier! My dogs are a yorkie & yorkie/minischnauzer, who have terrible separation anxiety from me.

We used Furry Feet on three occasions. Brian did a wonderful job. He made friends with Alfie quickly and the two appeared to become fast friends. If you want to leave your dog with someone who pays attention to the little things, Furry Feet is the place to go.

We have a senior furbaby who has some serious anxiety issues it was literally a tug of war with him everytime we took him to a groomer he either came home half groomed or not groomed at all.we looked for months until we came across furryfeet pet retreat.Symphoni met Neko at the door first it was and it was all uphill from there, Symphoni did a wonderful job with Neko such much that we took him back again yesterday and he went straight to symphoni, (groomer) with no problems and a wonderful job she did.until next time thank you furry feet!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Honey B’s. For years they looked after our fur babies when we traveled. They were also able to jump to my rescue to walk/feed our babies when I was tied up with a hospitalized parent. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Honey B’s has done a wonderful job for us. Multiple times Vanessa has jumped in and taken care of our dogs with no notice. We have a medically fragile family member. Vanessa has stepped in and stayed with our dogs. They were cared for perfectly, my house was safe and secure. I even received a photo of our happy babies. Vanessa is a good girl and we like her. More importantly our dogs love her!!

Our dog LOVES going to daycare at Honey B’s Pet Sitting. We also had him stay over for 10 day while we were on a vacation and he had a great time! He came home nice and clean from a bath and nail trim. We would highly recommend them!

Love Honey B’s Pet Sitting and Care! It’s great that they come to your home so your pets can stay in their environment where they’re most comfortable. My cat was so well loved and taken care of while we were away this summer. I wouldn’t leave her with any one else. And another bonus is I can now get her nails trimmed at home instead of having to make a vet trip!

This is the best doggie daycare, grooming and training business in Hampton Roads area. The daycare employee definitely wear out my dog with playtime and are very knowledgeable about caring for the different breeds. The grooming is excellent! Your dog is never crated while waiting to be groomed or drying and they smell so good after with their bows or bandanna! Training is so laid back, calm and very knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about Pawsitive Vibes!

Best decision my husband and I have made for our dog! Between our busy schedules it is so worth it to pay to take him here to get him out of the house and more social around people and other dogs! Even with doing online schooling at home he needs more time out of the house and this is perfect for him.. He has grown so much since he started going here and I trust them so much with him. They offer so many different services and the owner is very personable and flexible. THEY also have very good groomers there as well and good prices! Would highly recommend for any dog owner. 👍♥️🐕🐶 One picture is him after his first grooming and they did awesome!

Erica is THE. BEST. We’ve been taking our Henry there for a few months for daycare days, and he LOVES it. We get updates throughout the day and she’s always posting on her social media in her stories of the pups having a blast. Couldn’t recommend a better place and someone who truly cares for your pup when they are with her. Love Pawsitive Vibes!

Excellent dog trainer. We have gone through basic training with one dog and she is now enrolled in intermediate. Another dog has just begun the new anxious dog class and loved her first experience. The trainers take a lot of care to make sure dogs and owners are as comfortable as possible and don't rush through the training. They also provide a lot of "why's" for dog behavior that has been helpful as we try to counter condition and teach good behavior and good decision making. An excellent value for money. used their dog grooming services which were quick and easy.

We started bringing our dog here to help him get more exercise and socialize more having moved to a townhouse from a house with a yard. He comes home happily tired. We also get him groomed here and their groomer does an amazing job. He is a malamute so his fur can be difficult and plentiful, but he always comes back looking and smelling amazing. They also well send random pictures they snag of him which I love!

My dog Fungus loves Pawsitive Vibes so much that his behavior improves when we say "daycare". He loves Val, who is always at the front desk. He loves every person who works there, and so do I. They are in tune with doggy behavior and put the health and wellbeing of the pups first. I've worked at doggy daycares in the past and I was truly impressed with Pawsitive Vibes' transparency and commitment to safety. Every dog I see there is relaxed and happy, having a great time. I can't recommend this place enough!

Kayla, the groomer is terrific! She takes care of our 2 basset hounds and 2 of our chihuahuas. The last time she groomed Chiquita, our blind special little chihuahua, she even dyed her little spots on her back to make it look like she has flowers!

Our Labrador who does not enjoy grooming or nail trims always is happy to visit Pawsitive Vibes. She is not dog friendly, and they always make accommodations for me to drop her off and pick her up without interactions with other dogs. The staff is super friendly.

Online reservation was easy. The property was great outside, cute and clean inside, and we got courteous reception. Rusty stayed for the day and seemed to enjoy his time. Thanks for taking good care of him! 😊 …

My experience has always been extreme positive. I bring my pup, Luke, here regularly for daycare and boarding and he just loves it. The staff is friendly and they treat your pet as one of their own. He is always happy when I pick him up and is excited when he knows we are going there to play with the other pups. The facility is extremely clean and the managers have always reached out immediately if I have had a question. I trust them implicitly with my Luke and highly recommend them!

Very pet and people friendly staff and atmosphere there. As usual, they exceeded our expectations and our dog was very happy too. Thank you for helping make our time away from our boy much less stressful.

If you value the things you buy your dog. Don’t bring them here. I checked my dog in with his bed, food, treats, meds, and 1 toy. When I came to pick my dog up I was informed that they “lost” my dogs bed. What do you mean? And how long was my dog without his bed. I was told that they wash the beds and it was misplaced. Then I was told that they sent the bed home with another dog. How do you do that? I’m surprised his toy came back. What’s so crazy about this scenario is, my dog was having separation anxiety that was making him sick. They could text me every single day to tell me what’s going on with him and offering ways to help. But you all do not tell me that my dog has been without his bed for how many days?? And you sent it home with another dog???? Absolutely unacceptable service. Again how do you send my dogs bed home with a different dog? We pay for these things for our pets, we take pictures of our pets items and upload them to the website. Just for the staff to give our things away to other people.

I recently entrusted my beloved pets, Oreo and Coco, to the wonderful staff at Pet Suites Newport News, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism, making both me and my furry friends feel at ease. Throughout their stay, Oreo and Coco received exceptional care. The staff took the time to understand their individual personalities and needs, ensuring they were comfortable and happy. PetSuites took great care of our 8 year old Shepherd mix. Our boy was very nervous, but by day 2 felt more relaxed. Logan was very well cared for, happy, and super clean from the bath he received. 100% recommend!

Do not take your pets to this place. I started doing daycare here for my older dog Ella during a difficult time when I was transitioning between jobs and couldn’t stay home with my girl. The first red flag should have been when they told me they wouldn’t accept my dog at daycare when she turned 10, and that she was too old to do anything other than sit in a kennel all day. Ella is a vibrant 9yr old dog, and no other daycare I have used has turned her away from the playground. The second is it’s all indoor facilities, so pups either pee on concrete or astroturf or not at all. Ella was trained to pee outside on grass. The fact that whenever she was picked up she immediately peed like a racehorse convinced me she never got bathroom breaks inside. Third and most egregious is the fact that they don’t care about your animals. They lost Ella one day. I came to pick her up and no one could tell me where she was. Sure she was inside the facility but for 20 very hard minutes for me they didn’t know where she was. They were barely apologetic for this nor for the fact that when found she came out limping. No one could tell me why she was limping or cowering through doors. I can’t rule out abuse. Their staff is perpetually short which I’m sure is hard for them but it’s no excuse for bad behavior towards pets or owners. Never take your pet here. They will come out scared. You will be anxious for your pets well-being.

We have used their boarding services several times. Our dog is generally nervous when going to boarding or the vet, but she is always at ease when we drop her off there and seems happy when we pick her back up. Their prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for. They can be hard to get on the phone the majority of the time, so communicating through the app is the easiest way to contact them for scheduling a visit or to speak with them about your pet.

My puppy is excited to come to PetSuites. The staff takes really good care of him! They know Harold by name. Molly, the trainer, is the best. Harold attended summer camp and got all of his badges. I also like that they post the pets on FaceBook. My family is tagged in any post that Harold appears in. Love PetSuites!!

What a great place to board and have daycare for our dog! The staff was very attentive and responsive through text. We are now starting daycare since we were so imoressed with boarding . Our dog loves group play!

Fantastic boarding service! They were very communicative and took amazing care of our kittens. They had plenty of play time outside of their enclosure, and we got report cards that let us know how things went with them. I love that they have cameras available so you can check on your pets whenever, and the add-on for a daily text and photo update was so worth it. We'll absolutely bring our kitties back the next time we need to leave town!

Meow Manor is simply amazing! When I walked in, there was no smell of cat litter box. They clean every cat litter box twice a day everyday. We were able to take a tour and the staff explained the daily routine. I was able to bring Kitty Smalls on the tour as well. I received daily pictures, had access to the cat cam. The staff is awesome and very responsive. I loved that the cats independent access to roam around feely around the facility, one cat at a time. The next time I need cat boarding, I will bring Kitty Smalls here!

My husband and I were out of town for more than a month and had to leave our fur baby at a cat boarding , we found MeowManor and couldn't have picked a better place ❤️ Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our fur baby was comfortable, having fun and even made our very nervous cat fall in love with them. I really appreciate the everyday photo updates of him as I was in a different country missing him. A 1000% percent we will be coming back ❤️!!!

Wonderful. Pfefferneuse had a fantastic time. Loved the window and bird feeder. The care was excellent and the pictures reassuring. Five stars. Going back again in two months. Feel safe leaving in the care of the meow mansion employees.

Megan and Kara where amazing. The place is spotless . The condos , apartments and mansions are adorable. Thy have a camera service where you can see talk to and watch your kitty all day all night. Is in an amazing location easy to get. The service was straight forward educational and easy options to navigate. The staff is well trained for any curve balls they might have to manage on the moment. Over all The meaow manor is a really great place to leave your pet safe and secure. BtW they have a reward program ask for that in addition you can get 5$ off when you do check in on their Facebook page. Amazing

This place is absolutely wonderful, it is the definition of cat paradise. I was very nervous to leave our cat for the first time since adopting her but i’m glad I found The MeowManor and trusted them with the care of our girl. The staff was friendly and welcoming the moment we walked in and the place is kept in spotless condition, you seriously wouldn’t even know one cat was there. The daily communication and response time exceeded our expectations. I can’t recommend them enough, and this is coming from a very anxious cat mom with high expectations. They will love on your fur baby their entire stay!

We cannot say enough good things about The MeowManor. It was our first time being away from our cat and to say we were nervous was an understatement. The lovely ladies at tolerated all our questions and inquires and nerves. The cameras in the his “mansion” gave us comfort seeing him happy and healthy. Then he got to come out and explore the manor and get cuddles. The last morning he was there, we happen to see his “vacation mommy” go in to feed him and he was tail wrapping her and she was petting him. That was amazing to see and gave us great comfort. We will use this amazing place and already have his next stay planned and booked.

I honestly don't know where to start with how great MeowManor is! I loved the different boarding options and went with a larger room with a window perch. Our cat enjoys a window view so I thought she'd appreciate it. Kara was there when we dropped off and picked up our cat (also named Kara!). She was very friendly and allowed us time to set up the room and then get her stuff together with zero rush. I really liked this because when we've boarded with the vet we were just handing off our cat in the carrier and that was it. Being able to check in our girl via Wyze was great! We were also sent daily pictures and a report card at the end of her stay. I really, really appreciate the time and attention they gave my girl. I wish they had a location in my side of the water but because of all the amazing amenities they offer I don't mind making the drive. I highly recommend MeowManor!

Boarded our cat here for a week. Very clean environment. Cats only. The staff are very caring and considerate with daily updates by text. Webcams also available although there's no way to know when your cat is out.

Hound Haven is a terrific community gem ! Val is fantastic with the dogs and they love her ! The facility is clean and open and the dogs have lots of room to run and play. The groomers are gentle and attentive and my pup always comes out sooo soft and clean (he tries not to keep it that way for long!) If you need daycare or groomers this is a great option !!

So so happy that this place opened up so close to me. Now I never have to go back to a PetSmart to get my dog’s nails clipped! It’s so clear that the owner and Hound Haven’s groomer actually care about my animals. One of my dogs absolutely hates having his nails clipped, but Kylie is so gentle with him. She speaks sweetly to him and gets him calm enough that the process actually goes quicky and smoothly. Thank you!

I recently had my cat groomed here by Kylie and 5 stars is not enough. I couldn’t believe how friendly and kind she was and what a great job she did taking care of Daisy. I was able to meet the owner Val as well while I was in and you couldn’t ask for a nicer person to do business with. They offer grooming and daycare and are 3 minutes down the road from the shipyard. I won’t hesitate for a second to be a repeat customer.

Tyson was groomed yesterday at Hound Haven Newport News. The Groomer did such a wonderful job and was so gentle with him. He's a handsome boy right now. First time customer here!! I love this freaking place!! Val, the owner is a sweet heart!! I love the groomer that is present as well, she is very dedicated to her work and really took the time out to get to know my three fur babies. Most definitely my new grooming spot! If you have schnauzers and are looking for someone who knows how to cut one, this place is your go to!

Our experience was excellent! We have struggled to find a groomers for about TWO years that could execute a full puppy cut , but Hound Haven did so within our first experience perfectly! They reassure you and your fur babies needs and allow you to look inside the clean facility. 10/10 would recommend and I can’t wait to tell everyone to support this well deserving small business! Val is just totally awesome!! My dog loves her and is so happy every day when we arrive. He cannot wait to go in and play. She will love your dog to death. Kylie the groomer is superb, she spent a lot of time learning the standard groom for our Pumi, even joining a FB group all about Pumi's to ask questions and get advice! That is a caring groomer that shows a lot of pride in her work.

Val is an absolutely amazing person, she cares deeply about the dogs and gets to know every single one that comes in. The way she runs daycare is phenomenal, her groups are the happiest pups I’ve ever seen. Everyone gets along, there’s nap time, play time, enrichment etc. if you’re looking for somewhere your pup can go while you’re at work, need to get them good, tired and socialized, this is the place. I’ve been following Valerie for years and I wouldn’t go any where else❤️

I take my sweet dog Beanie to the Happy Dog to get her nails clipped when needed. She absolutely will not let me do it and howls her little head off. The people at Happy Dog love the dogs in their care, and keep my Beanie calm while clipping her. The day care pups seem very happy with each other as well. Very importantly, the staff is very friendly, and prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Happy Dog to any dog owner who wants TLC for their fuzzy buddies.

Our boy is a rescue who has been through some things and is very weary and anxious in new places with new people, making it difficult for us to find a groomer. Our vet recommended this place, so we gave them a call, explained our situation and set up an appt. As soon as I walked in I was impressed. The atmosphere was calming and while I could tell he was nervous, the staff were kind and patient and he went right with them. We've been back since, and we couldn't be any happier. Definitely glad we found this place!! ❤️

First time using for boarding my standard poodle puppy. He stayed 2 nights. He seem happy and healthy when I picked him up. I may try their grooming services as both groomers have numerous years of experience. Returned for grooming of my Standard Poodle. Wonderful job done. I'm very happy with service. Will be returning for another grooming.

Oh how my fur babies clean up nicely! Both of my boys have been groomed here. Always a friendly, timely and informative service! 10/10 would recommend Happy Dog Grooming for your fur babies. Today was little red’s first time being groomed. Service was expected to be 2-4 hrs as Melissa (Groomer) makes sure to take her time and moves at the puppies tempo. Little red was finished in about 1.5 hrs. I greatly appreciate that the puppy’s stress levels are taken into account and they are NOT forced into being groomed, leading to harm or further distress.

Our dog Duke, who was a rescue gets really bad anxiety around new people and dogs. We have been looking for groomers for weeks, and thankfully we found ours. The staff was great, and Miki did an excellent job on his trim and nails. Highly recommend and we will be back again.

Love this groomer. They are always so kind & do such a good job with my little baby Bella. I refer everyone I can here cause they are that wonderful. My sister now takes her dogs here & my friend does as well. I was always afraid to take my dog to a groomer due to the fact that when my grandmother took her dog somewhere else years ago her dog was never the same. She was terrified & wouldn't even play with toys anymore it was awful. But this place had won the best groomer on the peninsula for a few years when I first started taking my dog here almost 4 years ago & they have never let me down. The first time I took my dog here they only gave her a bath because they didnt want it to be too much for her since it was her first time ever going to a groomer. I just thought that was so awesome. Anywhere else probably would have done the hair cut too for the money but not here. They really do care about your dog & treat them like their own. I will say you must be very specific with what you want but I feel like that's with anywhere. Anyways, absolutely, 100%, recommend this place for all your grooming needs. You won't be disappointed! 🙂 Update: Been about 2 years since I first posted this review & I still stand by what I said. Best place to take your dog. 10/10 everytime!

Love this place! Everyone is so kind and personable, and you can tell they appreciate their clients. I've never once had a complaint or concern with their services. While waiting, it's always fun to watch staff interact with the daycare dogs, or just simply having side chats. You can tell they genuinely enjoy caring for the fur babies. As long I remain in VA, Happy Dog will most definitely be the only place Coco will go!

My doggies look 100xs better then they did before. The employees did a great job at getting all those loose hairs out. All 4 of my dogs go here and I just love the way they smell and look when finished. No matter how busy this place is they will always have room for your furry loved ones.

We've been here twice now. They do a great job and are very speedy. They can usually get me in quickly too because I'm terrible at scheduling grooming ahead.

I absolutely love F&F! The staff is so caring and kind, I completely trust that my pup is taken care of well while she’s there. They are always friendly, they take the time to let you know if they noticed something about your pup that you want to keep an eye on and communicate well when there’s a closing. I always enjoy the random photos and holiday photo shoots they do, I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else!

We’ve been bringing our pup to Femmes and Fidos for daycare/boarding for 2 years now. The team here is always so easy to work with and caring towards our dog. Could not recommend them enough. The attached grooming service is also super convenient and more great folks.

Love!! I have a mini bernedoodle and have tried quite a few grooming places as he needs it often. Femmes & Fidos was by far the nicest to my dog and made sure he was comfortable through the experience. They also did exactly what I asked for with the cut and made sure I knew everything they would do before!

We’ve been using Femmes & Fidos for years and our dogs are always happy there! They love it and we love how easy the entire process of dropping off & picking up is.

This place is so great. Our puppy loves it and all the workers are very nice and love all the puppies so much. I definitely wish there were more locations but so happy to find this place.

They did such an awesome job saving my bernedoodle boy, Roscoe, from all his matting. I knew he was going to have to be shaved down, but they did such a smooth job of the cutting that he didn't look butchered like he has from other places. They also were able to leave enough fur on his face, and did such a good job shaping it, that he still looks adorable. I'll definitely be sticking with them. Thank you!

Friendly enough, but it seemed overbooked. Took 3+ hours for my toy schnauzer for routine groom (no matting) on our 2nd visit. First visit, he was ready in about an hour (which I was used to).

Femmes & Fidos does such a wondeful job with my senior Labradoodle, Ginger. Rissa is terrific! Ginger always looks - and smells - great!! 😊 …

I can’t begin to describe the wonderful care our fur baby has received at Femmes and Fidos. As a longtime customer our dog has utilized their daycare, boarding and grooming services. All of which have been superb! I wouldn’t trust the care of our dog to anyone else but Femmes and Fidos!
