Our pup LOVES his time at Mountain Pets! He's stayed with Joanna several times and gets to play with her dogs, swim in the pond, go for long walks on the beautiful property 100 acre property, and soak up lots of attention. He is so excited to see her every time. Joanna is a true professional who takes the care and well-being of your pets seriously and has extensive experience. She is also a terrific communicator and sends lots of photo and video updates during their stay. I can't recommend her highly enough! We now don't need to worry about our pup when we are traveling and its as much a vacation for his as it is for us!

We could not have picked a more perfect person to care for our dog, Wilbur while we were away for 10 days. Joanna went above and beyond to update us twice a day with pictures, videos, a description of what they did for that day, as well as an update of the well being of Wilbur. She welcomed our pup into her home as one of her own. I know that our sweet boy received all of the love and exercise from Joanna, that we give him on a daily basis. Joanna is a trustworthy, reliable, professional, and friendly person who is extraordinary at her job! We will definitely be bringing Wilbur back to Joanna at Mountain Pets for any of our future needs. We are beyond thankful that Mountain Pets exists.

Joanna and her business Mountain Pets have been wonderful to us and our Sheltie, Max, since the time he was a puppy. Max enjoys his daily walks in the woods, the way he is made to feel at home and the way Joanna cares about him while there. We could not ask for a better place to leave our dog while we are away from home.

Joanna has watched our dogs several times over the past year, at drop off they are always excited to see her. She does a great job maintaining their home routine by taking them on walks during the day and giving them down time in their crates. Joanna is extremely professional and does a fantastic job at keeping us updated on the pups with pictures and text messages. We are fortunate that she is nearby and that we don’t need to take our dogs to a traditional kennel while we are traveling.

Joanna is a very caring person for my bunny while I was away for a month. She communicated with me very often via text messages and pictures or videos to give me the updates of how my bunny was doing. Best of all, she made sure of my bunny welcoming under her care and the best care while I was away. Thank you, Joanna, and I strongly recommend Mountain Pets.

Our dog, Mack, had the most amazing time with Joanna. Her place is special, and I think Mack felt special being there. He went on hikes with all the dogs and enjoyed the vast amounts of land. BUT, my very favorite part of Mack's stay with Joanna was when she would send me photos of mack sitting or laying on her lap or Aaron's lap. It was awesome to see that Mack became part of their family for a week. I would highly recommend Joanna's Mountain Pets.....it is like no other pet sitting around.

Joanna is a phenomenal and trust worthy Dogsitter. She took care of my 2 dogs, 1 of which was a senior. She was very accommodating to the little extras that he required. I was able to leave my dogs with her without any worries, as she took care of them as if they were her own. Very Professional & she always gave me updates with lots of wonderful pictures.

I cannot speak highly enough of Joanna and Mountain Pets - she truly offered our golden retriever a second home. Our dog Charlie loved going out for visits over the past two years and he was always so excited to see Joanna. He loved the daily walks, cuddles, and adventures, and we loved all the photos Joanna shared with us. Thank you for everything, Joanna!

Joanna is an experienced and knowledgeable animal caretaker, and our dogs, cats, goats, and horse were very well taken care of while we were away for a week. Joanna goes above and beyond - worked HARD to secure a spot in the fence where our Aussie determinedly tried to get out, shared her own ‘slow feed’ bowls when she noticed them inhaling their feed, added ways for them to get more exercise. She included photos/video/updates each visit, and responded immediately when we reached out. Joanna totally fit the bill for us so we could relax when far away. I’d highly recommend Mountain Pets, and will reach out to Joanna first in the future.

The staff was kind and clearly loves and cares for the animals so well! Communication was fast and clear. In the past, we’ve felt uneasy leaving our dog at home, but with Sugar Run, we knew our girl was in good hands! We were thankful for Vicki giving our girl some extra TLC while we were gone, too! We have used Sugar Run for years for our dogs. We know our dogs are well cared for while we are gone. I love seeing the updates of our pups on their Facebook page while we are away. It makes me feel so much better knowing they are doing ok. The staff at Sugar Run truly love dogs and take such good care of them. We don’t even consider another kennel.

This was Simon's first overnight experience away from home and he did great! I received pictures of him during off leash playtime with staff and at the dog park. Picked him up a week later and he was happy and healthy. Couldn't ask for more!

We did a lot of searching for a solid and good place for boarding our two dogs, after our former boarding placed closed. Sugar Run is great. Tried it out with an overnight, and my wife and I are very happy. Good people.

We would never take our dogs anywhere else!! They take photos of your loved ones and post them to their Facebook page. So you can see almost daily updates on your pets! Very large fenced in area for them to run and play 😀 …

Dianna & Co. are the best! They took care of our animals on several occasions. We are so sad that we had to move so we can't use her services anymore!! Our hounds have been kenneled in the past with our vets office and even private kennels but they never received the attention that Dianna & Co gave them. And her prices are so much better than the vet/kennel because of the special attention she gives them. Our hounds were able to sleep and play in their own environment so they seemed so much happier when we would arrive home. I can't believe we never used a pet sitter before. I just hope we can find a comparable sitter in our new location. Dianna was so sweet to come over and say good-bye to us and the hounds before we moved. We would trust her with our kids any day!!! We miss you!!!!!

Awesome service, Diania and her employees are amazing people!!! She makes sure your pets are cared of and more. When she agrees to look after your furry loved ones she goes above and beyond her duties. It just amazes me how she is with animals. I'd absolutely use Johnstown Pet Services in the future!!

Diana is just awesome with the pets. Boarding pets can be a hassle, and having to deal with kennel cough after your vacation is not fun. Diana cares about your pets just as much as you do. She just doesn't look after your pets when you are on vacation, if you have to work later than usual, she can stop by and let your dogs out so you don't have to rush to get home.

Unless you have a dog that gets let out and fed, don’t bother. They don’t like the smell of cleaning litter boxes.

I called to ask if availability, and said specifically for special needs. It was a holiday, and it was very busy. I'm sure they would be accommodating. I hope to try the service again.

Alicia and Greg are awesome! Our cat, Oscar, absolutely adored them. They were on time, sent updates (with pics) and checked in to make sure we got home and didn’t need an extra visit. We would trust them to watch any of our animals and feel truly lucky to have them taking care of Oscar while we are away. I also appreciated that they asked if we needed anything else done while they were there (trash, mail, watering plants)..it was a nice touch that meant a lot. We give Pup, Pup and Away two paws way up!

When my husband and I moved to State College with our four kitties, we worried about finding good pet sitters. We were thankful to find Taylor, who loves kitties as well as the dogs she trains! Our shyest kitties have come to love Taylor, which gives us such comfort when we're traveling away from home. Plus, Taylor uses a great app and posts updates and pics from every visit. Highly recommend Taylor!

We cannot say enough about how much we love Just Say Yes! dog training with Taylor. Taylor has been training our chocolate lab puppy (and training us) for the last couple of months. We have seen noticeable improvements in our pup’s potty training, the following of basic commands, loose leash walking, and more advanced skills. We don’t know what we would do without Taylor’s expertise and support as new puppy owners. She is kind, patient, and has worked with our family to set our puppy up for success. Taylor has a special connection with dogs and we all (humans and puppy) have learned so much from her!! Just Say Yes to Taylor! You won’t regret it.

Taylor is the most dedicated and knowledgeable person I know when it comes to dogs and dog training! I’ve never seen someone care so much about not just their dog, but yours as well. Her advice and opinions are the most important to me when it comes to training my pup!

I highly recommend Taylor and Just Say Yes pet sitting services. I left my thirteen year old dog for five days for in home pet sitting. He’d never been with anyone other than family and is a very attached, social dog. I was worried how he’d do. Taylor did an exceptional job meeting his every need and anticipating his wants. She brought toys she thought he’d like, took him for walks to new parks, played his favorite games, and kept us updated and reassured. We think he had his own little vacation with her:) She was a great listener about his particular traits and health issues and was very professional with communication and contracts. I really appreciated her excellent service!

My dog has gone here several times for grooming. Few few times were good. But this last time. My dog has been limping for 4 days. I can't see anything g wrong but I think his nails were trimmed too close. Not sure if it's his nails or not. But Doogie lodge will not answer emails sent. Will know more tomorrow when I take him to the vet.

Admiral Peary doggie lodge is a wonderful kennel. We have taken our two Jack Russell terriers there on several occasions. The staff there is very caring and take great care of our dogs. I would strongly recommend them for your fur babies. Also, their prices are very reasonable.

We have two golden retrievers who suffer from separation anxiety, so leaving them for a few days is very hard for us. From past experience when we would pick up our beloved pups from their prior kennels, our dogs always seemed traumatized for weeks after the fact. We decided to give this kennel a try and we are so happy we did! Not only were the prices better than anywhere around, I think they had much better care than anywhere else we have tried. This place has 24/7 supervision for their boarding and that put us more at ease. Not only were the staff incredibly kind, but I had called the day before pickup to see if my dogs could be groomed before we arrived to get them. Even with such short notice they were able to accommodate our request. Our pups came out looking happy and polished! And the best part - they weren’t traumatized from their stay! We don’t board often, but we’ve decided that when we do we will be forever using this place.

We are newer customers here and have used their services for both lodging and grooming our dog. The grooming went flawlessly and we were very happy with his haircut. This business has two locations and we were told our dog would be boarded at the same building as his grooming. When my wife went to drop him off for boarding they told her she was at the wrong place and he would have to go to the other location, where he was not groomed. Then there was some confusion regarding his shot records, as he had never been at that location. It delayed my wife's trip by about 45 minutes. We did get it sorted out and it was only a minor inconvenience, but it was worth noting. On a positive note, they took great care of our dog while we were away. We're planning on using both of their services again in the future. Grooming prices are very reasonable.

They took really good care of our two babies. Our dogs where in good hands. Our dogs seemed at ease when we dropped them off and when we picked them up. They were very happy.

Wonderful experience with my cocker spaniel. Maggie was a rescue from a puppy mill in Kentucky. She had little positive interactions with people. The staff was very understanding and compassionate with her. I was extremely happy with her grooming and would highly recommend them. was groom

Excellent! This was our first experience with the Doggie Lodge and we couldn't be happier! We have a great pyranese mix. He was bathed, had his nails trimmed and his ears cleaned and he smells fabulous. The staff were very kind, friendly, and treated our pup well. We were given a worksheet upon pick-up that detailed his experience from his behavior to recommendations for upkeep. This is by far the best grooming experience we've ever had. We will be back!!

We've taken two classes with Andrea for our 1-2 yr old GSD. Both classes were super educational and helpful. Andrea's knowledge and care for dogs is very evident, I highly recommend her classes for any dog.

We’ve taken 3 classes so far with Andrea. She is patient and encouraging and has helped us learn what our new pup is capable of. Very nice training facility with excellent equipment and small class sizes.

Auntie G was great. She went above and beyond to help make my cats feel at home while I was away. She was so professional which made me feel safe giving her my key. She made time to meet with me before hand so that I could show her my place and instructions. She is an animal lover of her own, so I can tell she cares about them deeply. I came home to a happy, clean crew for an affordable price!!! Will definitely be booking with her again.
