honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!
Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier. She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )
Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.
Great pet care. The house was clean and tidy. The sitters had great communication. Would recommend again!
Davis and Sydney were loving sitters for our pets. We even had an extra cat (our son's) and they took great care of all of the pets and our home. The pictures and the comments they sent showed us they figured out all of their quirky personalities very fast. It was nice to come home to a clean house and all pets were safe and happy! We would ask them back again.
Linda was an awesome pet sitter for my doggie Brodie! She gave him so much loving attention… he has some separation anxiety at 9 years old & she never left his side! She was so attentive to him & I am very grateful for that! Linda’s communication was also something I liked… we texted & chatted on the phone before her arrival & I felt very comfortable with her being in my home & with my dog. I could tell her number one reason to pet sit was her love for dogs & desire to be a wonderful companion for Brodie while I was away for the weekend! Would love to have her back anytime…
I felt totally confident in leaving Darcy and my house in Elaine’s care and I returned to a very contended dog and a perfectly clean and tidy house. Elaine arrived the day before I left so I was able to get to know her and enjoy an evening meal with her before my very early flight. We kept in contact while I was away via WhatsApp and I was happy to see photos of Darcy relaxing in her usual favourite places. It was lovely to be welcomed back home after my holiday by a very well looked after dog and it was so nice that Elaine was here to welcome me and had the lamps on, flowers in vases and a meal in the oven. My house was clean and tidy and Darcy has enjoyed a week of lovely walks and neck scratches. I highly recommend Elaine as a completely reliable pet and house sitter and she is a lovely lady to chat to. I was so pleased that I got to know her.
BriAnna was our first pet sitter and we loved her :). She made every step very simple for us, communication was great, Pastis and Anubis seemed to be very happy with her, and the house was very clean when we came back. We highly recommend BriAnna to take care of your pets and we would love to have her back!
Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I highly recommend Janis and you will be fortunate to have her as your sitter.

They did such an amazing job with our dog. He was very nervous when he got there and they were very patient and walked him around to help calm him. In seven years of having our dog I have never been so happy with a haircut of his.
They are so nice to my dogs. Thunder my old pit bull never liked anyone but he did like Melissa and now My Mazzy loves her to. I would definitely recommend anyone to have the dogs there either grooming or boarding great people.
I took my 9 month old bernedoodle to Holly here at Oberjoch to be groomed and she did an amazing job! She listened to what I wanted and my concerns. I knew she had some matts and I told her I didn't want her to worry about dematting and rather cut them out then put my dog through any difficulty or painful combing (she hadn't been groomed in a while and goes in our creek regularly so she was a hot mess.) We agreed on a length for her coat and she did call me a bit later to warn me she came across some matts that would require her to go 1 blade shorter which was perfectly fine. I got a text a few hours later to pick her up and she looked absolutely beautiful!! Though her hair was short (again completely okay with me because I know the difficulty with doodle hair and i'm more concerned about my baby looking and feeling good then having a long coat so she was trimmed very short at my request). She still looked professionally groomed, tidy and her ears, tail and top of her head were brushed out beautifully and trimmed perfectly with a final touch of pretty bows. My girl looked amazing, smelled amazing and seemed to really like the staff. Your dog will be safe and happy while in their care and the groom job will be impeccable! I know this is a difficult and labor intensive job and takes a lot of skill, time, energy, patience and love for your dog to come out looking so beautiful, clean and happy. I fully understand and appreciate the work that they do especially after needing to groom my dog during covid and losing our original groomer. It is difficult work and it would always look like a hack job when I was through, so I am truly impressed and thankful for the work these ladies do. Thank you so much for your time and taking great care of my dog! I will be a returning customer and bringing my BIG bernedoodle next time. Adding a before picture so you can see what she had to work with, and yes my doodle is an adventure water loving girl so the best care for her is a short coat vs combing wet lake/river/creek water hair.
There are no words to describe how greatful I am to be able to take my Doodles to Oberjoch's for grooming and boarding. I don't know what we would ever do without them. My dogs love them so much!!
Highly recommend Oberjoch for boarding. We have two rather shy/timid Chi-mixes that have boarded successfully three times now and have enjoyed themselves. I feel confident leaving our pets there because the staff is very competent and it's a place I can completely trust to take great care of our two dogs.
Always great to our Border Collie and Corgi. We’ve border here multiple times and they always have space for our dogs. Sometimes have called last minute and no worries at all. Highly recommended.
I take my boxer here for boarding and I am always happy with the care they provide. My dog is excited when we walk in which tells me he is well cared for when he is there.
Melissa has been the best groomer for Ozzy. I continue to go to Oberjochs because Ozzy always looks so good after his grooming. If I ask for a summer cut during the hot months, Melissa obliges. Oberjochs is expensive; but for us confidence that Ozzy, spoiled as he is, is treated well during his grooming, is our most important issue.
A wonderful boarding facility. The ladies take exceptional care of all pets. My first grooming experience was outstanding, my dog has never looked so great!
We have had our dog, Rocko, be boarded at Oberjoch Kennels a couple of times and we’ve always have had great experiences every time. They are affordable and take very good care of our fur baby while we are gone.
